Randy's Wing Bar in Hackney

Best end to the week getting to meet friends for a sunny randys lager outside before we headed in for the main event! Casablanca, buffalo wings and loaded fries are our favourite. We ordered more buffalo wings because they are just SO good! Then a beef burger too! Just make sure you try the hot honey wings they are absolutely delish! Thank you for the exceptional service tonight from Abraham we were well looked after! Epic food and epic service.

Entrance - Easy to find, just off the Canalside, very busy which is always a good sign so easy to spot. Food - We ordered the All You Can Eat Wings - choice being Grilled Kansas BBQ, Nashville Hot Wings, Korean and Hot Honey. The wings were nice, cooked well & tasted great. Drinks - I ordered white wine as it was happy hour with a glass of lemonade, I didn’t like the wine it tasted very cheap so I could not finish it and wish there was more choice. My partner got Randys Larger which he also didn’t finish as it wasn’t all that. Decor - The average wing shack vibe. Looked good and fit the aesthetic. Atmosphere - Busy, music was good, service was quick. Cleanliness - Could’ve been cleaner, the menus were really sticky and gross when they were given to us which wasn’t nice. Cost - £56.50 for 2x unlimited wings, 2 drinks, 1 lemonade & service charge. Customer service - Terrible from the beginning. We asked to sit outside and the waiter said there was no outside seats, when there were 3 outside tables available then he said “you can sit there if you want” When ordering our second round of wings, I asked if more gloves can be brought out as the ones I had on previously got very dirty, he said it was fine then brought out the wings without the gloves, so when I asked for the gloves again, he gave me the dirtiest look and got the gloves - made me feel like the biggest inconvenience and did this in front of the customers. I felt so uncomfortable I lost my appetite and asked for takeaway boxes. The waiter brought takeaway boxes so my partner asked for a bag because how are we gonna carry them? On our head? he looked us in the eye and said they had ran out of bags and that he could see from where he was standing that there was no more left which was a blatant lie because you’re a whole restaurant on Deliveroo- do the delivery drivers carry the food boxes in their hands?! My partner then got up and went to the kitchen himself and long and behold - they had plenty of bags, even asked what size he wanted, small or large - so my partner then came back and told the waiter this and he said “I wasn’t even allowed to let you have takeaway boxes as you can’t takeaway the unlimited wings, so that’s why I didn’t give you the bags because I’d get in trouble with my manager” so he basically admitted he LIED and made out like he done us a favour by consistently being rude, lying and embarrassing us in front of everyone then laughing about it. Overall - 1/10 - the wings were so nice, it’s just a shame the customer service lacked otherwise I would return.

Great wings, nice spot next to canal. It was busy, I'd definitely book. Be realistic with what you need, but try a few things, because its all delicious, very fresh but also more filling than you think. I loved the kansas bbq wings. very messy but worth it. The strawberry milkshake was great and the parm fries were full of flavour and had plenty of parm, herb and Chipotle mayo. Staff are helpful and service quick.

Best wings I’ve had in the UK, the margarita blended pitcher was the best accompaniment to the hot honey and the garlic parmesan which me and my friend split along with the loco fries. Do come here. Do eat wings. Hotel trivago.

My husband came here on a boys night and was so impressed he wanted to bring me and our 2 teen sons here to try. Super impressed! We came in on Easter Sunday and was not disappointed!! The service was fabulous and the food was to die for! Our favourite has got to be the Korean wings. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Randys!

5 * for this place. Wings were spot on! Buffalo definitely a favourite and probably one of my favourite ever!! We do wing fest every year and this year not one matched these. My friends and I came here on August bank holiday on the Saturday for an early evening dinner before heading out for the night. The venue is well laid out with a lot of tables for dining, you can book but they have a lot of walk ins due to location along Hackney Canal and not being far from Hackney Wick Station. My friends and I had 5 wings each in buffalo, lemon & pepper and cauliflower Korean wings. We also had fries and 2 pickled salads. The wings were full of flavour and tender, falling off the bone. The cauliflower was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sides were so large we could have shared them, but special shout-out to the pickled salad because it was amazing. Sebastian was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing, so helpful and recommended drinks we would like when we were stuck for choice. He was polite and very friendly from when we walked in to when we left. We ended up having frozen margaritas, gin and lemonade cocktails (tip: if you like a sharp drink, ask for this with no sugar syrup. It’s like a limoncello gin.) I would highly recommend to anyone and I will return.

Faultless in every way! Genuinely the highlight of the weekend, when comparing all the food we sampled. In what can only be described as a packed menu, it took a bit of time to choose what Wings to go for. I eventually opted for the Kansas BBQ Grilled Wings for myself (eight in total) - epic! I then went a step further and ordered Randy’s Signature Burger, a Buttermilk Chicken Thigh with a special in-house Mayo. Like the starter, it was enjoyable in every bite. A decent portion as well. Cost wise, it was around £30 per person (inclusive of a Peroni bottle and service charge). Would happily have paid more to be honest. Overlooking a canal veering off from the River Lea, it was a great location as well. Simply put, I’d go back in a heartbeat. The other guys with me will tell you the same!

Headed for lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Place had great atmosphere right from the get go. Welcomed by polite and cheerful staff and were shown to our table very quickly. The menu was incredible. "H" looked after us and we could discuss options on what would suit us. He was super knowledgeable and so friendly. Our food, an array of wings which they sorted for us especially was amazing. Loaded Fries and slaw were brilliant sides. The Manager Prince was totally in control of the busy premises but made time for everyone. Can't fault Randy's - thoroughly recommend it to everyone. 5 stars isnt enough!

I didn’t like how I was confronted by your waiter, when he said there was no note requesting no mayo on my loaded fries, embarrassing me in front of my wife and friends. I showed him my order on my email and he wasn’t happy with me, and I’m the customer! The food was fantastic, his attitude towards me was awful. (I didn’t get a name but he had a bobble hat on, he had a beard and wore tshirt and shorts)

Fantastic!!!! That's what my Mrs told the manager. This place was a great little find, after a stroll round a few bars in the area we came across this place by the canal. Sunny Thursday afternoon, we had the 12 Korean wings, seasoned fries and a side of nachos, washed down with a pitcher of beer. The wings really were fantastic and the service was great.

I’ve been here a few times. Last time was last summer- Went on a lovely sunny day. Great outdoor seating. Cocktails are nice (slushy margaritas). Wings are great- only issue for me was I didn’t like the truffle in the blue cheese sauce but that’s a personal preference. I am now vegetarian and the cauliflower buffalo bites are great. Also tried the veggie wrap- was ok but there aren’t many veggie options (it is a wing bar after all lol). I would recommend and go again- especially in the summer :)

My friends and I visited yesterday for lunch. This was my second visit to Randy's Wing Bar and sure enough, everything lived up and even surpassed my expectations. Food was delicious- we had a mix of several types of wings on the menu and the new chicken bites which were amazing. We ordered more!! And we will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. Can't wait for summer when we can picnic on the grass overlooking the canal.

I went here today with my Father, the experience was amazing and was made extra special by our waiter “H” who was absolutely great at handling our troublesome order and indecisiveness. The food was exceptional and this is was definitely the best experience I’ve had here out of all the many times I’ve been.

We popped in this lunchtime for a quick bite and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. And the food was absolutely delicious. My husband said his Korean burger was the best chicken burger he’s ever had. Will definitely be back soon. A cute little wing bar that exceeded my expectations! Great variety on the menu, flavours were banging and the Oreo milkshake was well worth the calories!
