Food good but again let down by non tracked delivery and updating delivery status to Delivered about 30minutes before it actually was to protect SLA stats no doubt.

Food was great as always, delivery was 25mins later than worse case estimate with no tracking which was unfortunate.

Food was average, a bit lacking in flavour. Staff were attentive but refused to take tastecard discount despite pre-booking a table and website displaying it was acceptable. Unlimited ribs is a value for money.

Nice restaurant. I ordered a rib-eye steak. Was cooked a bit more than what I asked for but the meat was very good and well seasoned. Crispy french fries. For some reason this restaurant is always very empty when I go there. Perhaps because it is quite expensive March 2025 update, my rating is still the same

Tiny portions, bland food and long delivery times, sub pub-grub level. Will keep it brief as not worth spending time reviewing this place in detail. Rump Steak - Steak was completely flavourless and chewy, couldn't taste a spec of salt or pepper on the thing, and the sear was awful. Chips - Same as the steak, bland with no seasoning. Some slightly under-cooked. 99% sure these were cooked from frozen Rack of Ribs - Best item on the menu. Some slightly burnt, however overall a nice flavour and the meat fell off the bone. Fairly priced item. Biscoff Cheesecake - Tasty, but the portion was shocking for the price. £5 for most likely 1/10th of a store brought cake. Please refer to photo for reference, I have small hands yet it fit in my palm. Absolute scammers. This place is pretty cheap overall, but when the food quality is the equivalent of primary school dinners, it isn't worth it. 2/5 is fair, and those of you scoring higher must be insane.

great chateaubriand meal and delivered on time

The waiter barely said a word - English isn't his first language. The steak was okay, but served without a sauce and none was offered. The chips were thin, overcooked oven fries, not quality chunky chips. The menu is poorly designed. The toilets are dirty and one urinal is out of order, with tape all over it. They have done everything with minimal effort. It could be a 'go-to' destination, but it needs new management, new staff, a new menu and a focus on providing a great customer experience. I wouldn't go back.

Food was delivered 30 mins early. It was very well packaged. It was still nice and warm and the steak was absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended for take aways

me and my boyfriend came here just before new years and it was great. The food was amazing, the garlic bread could’ve been a bit more garlicky but it was okay however the mash was phenomenal, very quiet only had another couple come in while we was there and it was a nice environment, the staff were nice too. Would definitely book again.

What a gorgeous steak we both had. Gigantic, tender, and perfectly cooked to order. The staff were very polite and very helpful (without being too intrusive). The sides were really tasty and cooked well. The prices were mid range, and the food was more than certainly worth the price paid. Thank you to all at Rancho Steakhouse.

Couldn’t eat the steak loaded fries because the lid wasn’t on and they were at the bottom off my bag. Also all the steak was tough and chewy. Not worth the price.

I have been to this test before years ago and it was a hustling bustling experience with good food and packed with people. However this wasn’t my experience this evening. Don’t get me wrong, the service people who run this restaurant cannot do enough for you, the service was excellent (apart from a side dish coming late) however, being a steak enthusiast, I am sorry to say it was the worst steak I have ordered at a restaurant or pub in 40 years! I ordered a waygu steak cooked medium rare. It was cold when the waitress bought it to me (as was the plate) and with a steak knife, I could barely cut through it! (My suspicion is it definitely wasn’t waygu steak) Not how an expensive piece of beef should be served, especially in a steak house! You should be able to cut through a properly cooked steak with a butter knife, not struggle with a steak knife!! My husband had the beef fajitas, they were over seasoned and very salty, just about bearable to eat. The atmosphere was low lighting which was good for me, but unfortunately it was very cold in there. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, if the food was as good as the service they would be making a fortune!

Stumbled across this place when I was looking for food in an unfamiliar town. The steak was beautiful and great value. It was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed it. Only negative I have to say is the music was too loud, turn that down and this place is perfect.

I went to this place a few years ago and it was great. This time not so much. I ordered the unlimited ribs. We was the first customers there and the ribs came out very dry and over cooked. As the night progressed they got a bit better but the intial dish put me off for more. Furthermore, for some reason sides and sauces were brought out after the main had been served leaving just a burger or main. As you can see in the photo, that is what my friend recieved. It wasn't the greatest presentation intially. We also had to request for a few items they had forget to bring to us. However, the staff were very welcoming and accomodating and did do a good job. Just need to improve on the ribs and presentation of dishes served.

Cannot fault the food, the steak was beautifully cooked, desert was fabulous. Great food for a great price. Unfortunately the thing that let's this place down is the service. We waited 15 minutes to order drinks. We ordered one starter that took nearly 30 minutes. Mains arrived, and starter plate hadn't been cleared. Two meals were served the wrong way round despite clearly saying whose was whose. (Might seem an innocent mistake but when one steak is medium rare and one is medium well, the person who ordered medium well was put off by the blood when cutting into the steak) Sides didn't arrive and had to remind staff. After meals were finished, ordered another drink that never arrived. Deserts arrived in good time with no problems. Whether staff are over run or under staffed I dont know. But it really does leave you feeling disappointed when you go out for a special birthday meal.

Great T bones ! Good food and service. Prices are very reasonable. Been several times and it still is our go to steakhouse for special occasions or a get together with family and friends.

But food was ordered almost an hour earlier. Have had much better food, it was dry and only just warm! Very disappointing

We went early on a Friday evening, so we were the only ones there, but we didn't mind having our own personal service! The food came out hot, and the steak was perfectly cooked and full of taste. overall, we had an excellent meal full of flavour and great customer service

I ordered my steak well done and it more medium to well. Order Lao arrived a little later than the latest expected arrival, so was unsure if my order had even been received. Otherwise food was very tasty.

This place is a disaster. The folks running it have likely taken over an already failing business, but they don't know what they're doing. Ordered a mojito, but instead got lime cordial + soda with a bit of mint in it. Ordered a side of ribs + bbq sauce. Ribs so dry and bland that I sent them back. Partner had lamb chops which were blubbery, but at least passably tasty. Chips were inedible. Chips! How hard is it? Unbelievable. I could not eat the tired looking salad. They forgot parts of our order. Do not eat here if you're expecting either good food or anything approximating South American. And in the end, they tried to still charge us the full price for the meal. And they added service (10%) on top! I didn't finish my food and refused to pay for half of it. And it still felt expensive. Avoid!

The food was excellent, and the service was great. There was a party going on in one corner who were very noisy but apart from that a great night was had by all.

We had perfectly cooked steaks, which were served by attentive staff, they checked once during the meal. Everything was clean and tidy. I have no problem in recommending this restaurant.

This place is a gem with outstanding quality and an unbelievably low price. There were quite a few worrying things about coming here - Google says only 4.1*, clunky website and entire place empty at lunchtime. But wow, steaks were fantastic, on par with the best steakhouse in London. Chips were also really good - in that rare category of on another level compared to most. My little boy had a mango and ice cream smoothie which he announced as the best drink he'd ever had - and it was delicious. Decor is also very nice, a good mix of wood and white leather. Pricing is the lowest I've ever seen in a steakhouse, which is amazing given the quality. Only thing that let it down is the 'white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake' had no raspberry at all. I also couldnt tsste any white chocolate. And apparently they were missing the 'dressing sauce' which they didn't mention until serving it. This definitely should have been mentioned sooner, and combined with providing a different cheesecake to that on the menu let the place down quite a lot. Hopefully this place is busier in the evenings, it absolutely deserves to be, at least if they sort their deserts out. If it was in Brighton or London it would be constantly packed. Given the high-end quality and the extremely reasonable price, this is almost certainly the best value steakhouse in the UK. Absolutely recommended.

Great food as always, extremely slow delivery time this time.

I witnessed management taking cash tips off other staff and putting it in the cash register. We also had a service charge on the bill that they informed us is given to staff. Thought we would try again and investigate because I thought that was illegal. (Unfortunately not until 1st June 2024. Lying to customers is, however). We watched other customers tip and watched as management suddenly appear to take payment if it was cash, when they had not been part of the service. They also spoke very badly to a few members of staff and I felt sorry for them. And yes, the cash went straight in the cash drawer or the managers pocket. Turns out my friends daughter worked at Ranchos a few years back - service charge goes directly to management. Make sure to remove service charge, and if you tip, tip in cash and make the staff member pocket it.

Meal was ok, there was no salad as promised with the order, it probably would have been hotter except deliver person stood outside chatting to a friend in a car for nearly 10mins.

food a little cold on arrival, not usually?

We had the wagu steak which I was not convinced it was a wagu steak but instead a rump as it was extremely chewy and not the melt in your mouth. I asked for a medium rare and it was pretty much blue. As a steak house I would expect them to at least get the steak cooked properly. The chips were rather greasy and tasted like they were cooked in weeks old fat. Not really impressed overall and will not be going back

Food was just as good as going to the restaurant. Hefty portion, piping hot and good value. Arrived early so not long to wait. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you ☺️

Went to Ranchos on 13th January for a Work-Do everyone enjoyed their meals and the staff was always on had whenever we needed extra drinks, Great Time

As a vegetarian who's husband is an absolute carnivore, it's hard to find a restaurant that satisfies us both....we found it at Ranchos. A perfectly cooked sirloin for Mr B, and the most amazing, delicious veggie fajitas for me. This was our first visit, but it most definitely won't be our last.

Visited on a Friday evening. Only 4 tables occupied but over an hour for starters to arrive, which weren't great. Main course was decidedly average with over cooked chips. Minimal heating meaning it was uncomfortably cold. Table of 6 guys next to us all sat there with their coats on! Overall very poor, definitely won't be back

Arrived late, cold and poor tasting food

Our orders from Rancho are always great value for money. The burgers are especially good and we will definitely order from them again.

Totally loved this venue. The fajitas and mixed grill where worth every penny. The service was prompt without feeling pushy and the venue was clean and well presented. Will definitely be using again.

Terrible service (1.5 hours to receive starters) for our table of 15. Prioritising deliveries and another table of friends/family over ours. Despite the poor service they still felt the need to apply a service charge. Steak was the only saving Grace as it was ok. We will not be visiting again.

Took an hour and a half for the starters to come out. A family who were friends with the staff came in a while after us were served their food before us which made us all feel unimportant. The food especially the nachos was over priced. Nearly £8 for a small plate of plain doritos a blob of cheese and fake guacamole was ridiculous.

Went there yesterday for Mother's Day, 27/03/22. We always have the same steaks called Cuadril de Bif but now the menu has changed to just steak with the weight of the steaks. Beautiful steaks as always, amazing vegetables. Nothing has changed since the last time we came. Heaven for a couple of hours.

I had the mixed grill, very nice but the second piece of steak was very gristly so I could only eat half of it. Other than that very nice.

Really good, food was amazing, just one issue. Be mindful of the service charge put on the bill!! if you intend leaving a tip. I didn't realise 😕 and paid a statutory £17:35 and left a £20 tip! That won't happen next time.

Missing our ribs that I had paid for so meal wasn’t filling

Went on a Sunday night, booked although it wasn't necessary as it was a quiet night. Enjoy the food here, have been before, and I'm sure we'll come again. When it's busy though it's a little loud, just with the conversation. Choice of potatoes, just ask, mash, skinny chips, fat chips, or sauté potatoes.

Nice ppl and great steak ..but I went to collect because they didn't have a driver but still been charged for delivery . U don't have an option to say I went to collect while still being charged for delivery. So chose 15 mins late

Zupa cebulowa pyszna ciemna inną z dwoma tostami z bagietki zapiekanymi z serem bardzo ciekawa , lamb midium rare /tak był zrobiony /do tego salaka i pomidorki dobrałem grillowane .patry beef pyszne a faita bardzo dobrze doprawione mięso wołowe troszkę na ostro z trzema sosami cena niewygórowana obsługa bardzo dobra troszkę długo czekałem ale warto pozdrawiam właściciela.

Enjoyed the all you can ribs. Very tasty, cooked nicely, sometimes some of the portions they bring over isn’t big, but as it’s unlimited you just order more. Drinks are always full. Couple of extra charges for the sauces which seems a bit much for ketchup and Mayo. Also please get rid of the old posters advertising the old price it’s misleading, saw 3 different prices for the ribs.

Great food and service but when busy you can't hear across your table. Trio Rancho is the best!
