90th Birthday party, food and staff both excellent and couldn’t do enough for you, would certainly recommend to anyone

Very slow service and cold food, we took our 3 boys for breakfast before Christmas as treat, we had to wait to order as not enough staff on duty, we ordered 4 breakfasts and 1 sausage cob plus 5 drinks tatal cost £52!! Once we had ordered we had to wait for the drinks to be made which took an age and by the time we had taken them back to the table they were all cold. We had to wait a good 40 minutes for the food to arrive, which we wouldn’t have minded if it was good, the food came and everything was cold not even lukewarm and the were eggs congeelled I asked to speak with the manager and that took another 15 minutes for him to appear, he seemed uninterested and not bothered All in all not good and wouldn’t return!!!!

Took the family to the range and some food and drinks afterwards. The range is fine, helpful staff and good facilities (although the range balls are so low in their compression they mess with the trackman data unless you use one particular course setting). The problems started when we went to he bar. No music, bright lights, just the football on the tv on but with the sound down. The food came quick but was over fried and cooked with the oil being too hot resulting in my chicken burger breaking up and being tough when I tried to eat it. My boys curry and pizza was bland. The drinks service almost seemed annoyed they had to work. I’ll go to the range again but I’ll eat elsewhere afterwards.

My friend and I had Sunday Lunch on 1st October, it was the first time we had been and didn't know what to expect. However we had a very enjoyable and tasty lunch, everything was spot on, vegetables not over cooked and beef delicious. Well done to staff as they were very friendly and helpful. A.S and D.L. Booked Sunday Roast after being recommended by a friend. I'm glad we did. As someone who hates the belief that red beef is marvellous, I liked it cooked through properly. And this was, and plenty of it served up with delicious gravey yourkshire pudding, and a good selection of well cooked vegatables. And there was a good selection of starters mains and sweets, should you prefer something else. The cost we normally pay for a mains, we had three courses for the same amount. It really was one of the best meals I've had in a long long time. The staff were very efficient, friendly, and well mannered. Combined with properly dressed tables, this will definitely become a regular venue, where we know we can get quality and good value for our money.

Had a fantastic time on the crazy golf for a birthday celebration on 1st August followed by a lovely meal afterwards, Aprille and her team have been brilliant, well organised, well communicated, added an extra person an hour before we arrived, food was great, the best fish & chips ever🐟 , we will be back for other celebrations as the room was spacious and nothing was too much trouble- thank you

Ramsdale hosted our wedding and we could not have asked for anything better. Aprille and her team went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best day and everything was as we wanted it. Every single member of staff that we spoke to was excellent! The food was amazing and so many of our guests commented on how it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. We highly recommend to all couples out there looking for a wedding venue! Thank you so much!

Went for Sunday Lunch, food was excellent quality, all veg was cooked just right and the meat was so tender, homemade Yorkshire puddings too! Lovely staff, looking forward to Father’s Day 😊

We had a Sunday lunch for family and friends at Ramsdale , the three course meal was superb from start to finish .All the staff couldn’t do enough to help and everything was done to a very high standard .Thank you to one and all for making our day extra special .

After being messed about with our original wedding venue - Ramsdale saved the day! The planning, communication, attention to detail and the customer service prior to the day was incredible. Aprille assisted us at such short notice and we are so grateful for her time and efforts. Aprille’s experience prevented stressful planning! Aprille couldn’t be there for the day and we was apprehensive but on meeting Jack, it was clear they had in depth discussion about how the day was to go ahead and he was on duty the night before to help decorate! - even helped find things that we forgot to take. Jack truly made the day run amazingly smooth. Orchestrating everything to perfection, great communication and highest of customer service. I don’t know how we would of managed without him! A great asset to the Ramsdale team! Food - the hot food buffet was delicious, catered to all dietary requirements. All piping hot. Served by the chef who was polite and kind. - only shame is that all left over food isn’t given to a soup kitchen. Must mention, all the staff were great and super helpful on both bars! Whether you’re ordering food at the driving range or sitting at a table in the restaurant the food is just fine but nothing to text home about. Classic pub grub although I expected better quality. There was little effort or help from staff with additional condiments either. Staff in restaurant friendlier than on the range though. Their quality and focus is on the golf course, clearly, and rightly so but a bit more effort here could be a real winner all round.

Great meal with family. We had booked a table upstairs to take advantage of the Eat Out to Hekp Out scheme. We were served by 'Chloe' who was cheerful and efficient. Food and drinks arrived quickly. All the curries were of good portion size and were very tasty. Well worth a visit, though I recommend booking as downstairs seemed really busy.

We have just returned from this venue following a wonderful lunch. The staff were fabulous and the food so yummy, we would definitely return at other times during the year

Despite advertising their Christmas lunches, my friends and I arrived to find that our table was in the bar area. However, the table was laid beautifully with matching serviettes and crackers. The meal (which had to be pre-ordered) was excellent, I had melon on a bed of berries, followed by veal casserole and ending with Christmas pudding. The oddest thing though, was that halfway through our meal, a male member of staff began hoovering around the bar and tables! I am afraid this was not very professional nor was it welcoming as it made us feel we were outstaying our welcome and in the way. Finally though, I must praise the staff waiting at the table and also the bar for their friendly and professional manner. So well done to them.

Society golf event on 10-11-2019. On arrival checked society in at pro shop. Warm welcome from the guys looking after us. No trouble to organise extra markers & printed sheets for N/P & N/P2. Breakfast was plentiful with unlimited tea & coffee. Sausage, Bacon & Egg baps delicious. Waiting staff friendly & willing to serve you with a smile & join in the banter. After all the rain we recently have suffered, the course played well & the greens were superb. All round great day, thank you & we will return.

Poor customer service We arrived at 11.47 and asked if the breakfast was still available. The waitress said yes but after checking with the chef said no, it had finished at 11.45. The vegetarian lunch options didn’t appeal, but as my partner was hungry I chose the apple and walnut salad and chips. We sat outside and the waitress came to us to say the chef had no walnuts. She had not discussed an alternative before coming to us. When I asked what would be provided instead, she suggested croutons. I said I didn’t fancy that. The food arrived and my salad had pine nuts. I asked for my chips and she said they would follow. They didn’t. A waiter arrived and said he hadn’t taken the order for chips, so if I could make my way to the till to pay for some, they would be cooked for me. I didn’t want to be eating after my partner had finished their food so declined to do that, all stacked up as a poor experience.

Popped in to the Cafe Bar and Grill for a bite to eat after playing Crazy Golf with my other half. Dawn served us and made us feel welcome, she was all smiles, friendly and polite. We ordered a club ciabatta and a fish finger ciabatta. Both dishes were good and came with chips and salad. The chips were hot and crispy and the salad was cold and fresh, a pleasant change as normally we eat out and the salad is tired and browning. Tables were clean and the overall presentation of the place was great! Definitely would recommend this place!

Enjoyed breakfast and lunch here today ,very tasty ,friendly staff, excellent service all set in scenic surroundings.They also have a lovely outside seating are which takes in these lovely views

The food here is good but definitely on the pricey side. For example the salad is £7 (lettuce, croutons, parmesan cheese etc) and an extra £1.50 to add chicken or prawns. I had a wrap and couldn't complain! It was yummy

Whenever we are in the area we make a point of calling at Ramsdale Park Cafe Bar, and we have never been disappointed. Although this is, obviously, a nice golf club you do not have to be a golfer to enjoy the facilities - casual callers are welcomed and the restaurant is a very pleasant area to relax and enjoy the views... as well as the lovely food on offer!Our particular favourite is the Aberdeen Angus beefburger, taking burgers to a totally new level! delicious.

Called in before playing golf for a bite to eat and a coffee. Really pleasant surroundings and lovely staff too. Highly Recomended.

If you want a party venue,I doubt this one could be beaten locally.Recently had a joint 70th birthday party there,it was amazing.the whole thing was handled by Theresa,who did a great job,it was overseen on the night by Steven and Sean.It was a great room ,well laid out and with lovely views over the golf course.the food they supplied was as good as you get and the staff were very helpful and efficient.a special mention for Harry the barman.he was great.Overall it was a terrific experience and great value for money.I would recommend this venue to anybody and so would our guests.many thanks to everybody there for making it an evening to remember.see you soon .Cindy&john

The bar/cafe is relaxing and peasant to visit either inside or out. The food is like pub grub but excellent prices and quality.

Very good breakfast and lovely coffee! Throughly enjoyed the full English. The service was excellent from Wendy too, very friendly and cheerful - improved our mood after the golf we played! She was very helpful in getting some plasters for us too, thank you very much!

Went here a few weeks ago for a family get together. There were 30 of us & we wanted a place where we could all be on the same tables. Never been here before & thought you had to be a member to go in the bar & resaurant. But you don't have to be a member & the meal was lovley. There's also a outside patio you can relax & have a drink over looking the golf course. I would recommend this place well worth a visit & the food was not over priced.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at ramsdale and was absolutely over the moon with the service we received! Me and my new wife would like to thank apprille and John for making our day even more special

Fantastic golf course. Played a lot of courses but everyone has been raving about how good ramsdale was. Definitely best we've played this year. Made very welcome as usual by staff who made sure everyone was looked after. Only place we will book twice a year for golf society.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch for Father's Day, excellent selection across all 3 courses and coffee thrown in too. The cherry on the cake was the Father's Day gift for my husband which is a voucher for a free round of golf!

On Sunday 6th May we celebrated my Mums surprise 65th birthday and a being a year on from a stage 4 cancer, Aprille nad Teresa from the day of booking dealt with a very emotional father and daughter and have gone out of their way to ensure this day was another cherished memory. On the day John the F & B manager went above and beyond to ensure Mum had the day she deserved, food was amazing the service was outstanding and nothing was too much, even allowing us to move outside after the main to have pudding and enjoy the rest of the day in the sun. Dont hesitate in booking even just popping in for a coffee its a lovely place.

Our third visit and this restaurant never ever disappoints us.

I went with husband and two friends for Sunday Lunch carvery. The staff were efficient, cheerful and very helpful. As I was on crutches following surgery one of the staff from behind the carvery personally brought me my meal. The food was delicious, hot and perfectly cooked, we will definitely be going again.

We popped into the Ramsdale Park Café Bar & Grill for lunch, as we were passing, and were very pleasantly surprised. We had a simple lunch of beefburger and fries, but the quality and presentation was outstanding. The beefburger was delicious, as was the accompanying generous portion of relish - and the chips were fried to perfection.

We had my mums wedding here l and i have to say absolutely brilliant. Great atmosphere. Well organised venue. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful venue. Thank you for making her day a memorable one.

We booked for a Sunday carvery on the 31st of July, got to say firstly the staff were excellent, they did not rush us in any way what so ever, were all very polite and attentive.

We visited for the purpose of attending a meeting in a room hirfed out to our group. We were early so we had some eats and drinks. These were served by very pleasant staff. We visited the Golf Shop and made purchases as the prices were very good. We attended our meeting and then had a buffet meal served. This too was delightful. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly as you would expect. Well done you chaps !!

We went to the Sunday carvery. We hadn't booked a table but the staff were very accommodating and we were seated promptly. The staff were very polite and the service prompt.

This is inside the Clubhouse at the golf course. Excellent value, fast and friendly service in a well laid out dinning/bar area. The children's menu offers some nice alternatives from the normal children fair.

I arranged a business lunch meeting with two new clients and did I regret it.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and always enjoy my coffee and jam square b4 par 3 comp, then after me chips & pint of coke after my round. Always friendly staff & picturesk scenery.

We have never be out to a restaurant for Christmas day before but due to circumstances we decided that we would this year. We received an email from Ramsdale Park offering Christmas day meals. So I booked us in, not sure what to actually expect. I had been there before a number of years ago for a works Christmas do we had had managers away days there, so I new the standard then was good. Well they did not disappoint, the meal and service were superb, clean plates all the way through. It has to be one of the best meals out I have had.

Played here with a Society 30 + golfers, the course was in great conditions for time off the year and the lay out gives you nice views, some tricky greens and hard to read which keeps you on your game. We have the Christmas turkey dinner which very tasty and was serve very quick. This place has a par 3 and crazy golf so if your near by its worth popping In

The layout is nice enough, pleasant views through the glass walls, amiable staff, drinks were decent. Unfortunately, everything else let our lunch experience down.

After a game of crazy golf called in to redeem drinks voucher and ended up staying for lunch. Staff were polite and helpful. Menu had good choice and the children's meal deal was great. Main course plus unlimited refills in squash and a choice of ice cream. Nice and hot and very fresh off all the food we ordered. Good selection of snacks and cakes. Open to the public.

I visited this venue as part of a private party, so didn't get the full choice of menu. We ate upstairs and had carvery. Tomato soup starter was excellent, the wife's melon, chillie and onion starter was distinctly disturbing! We both had roast beef with an enormous Yorkshire pud. My beef was cooked perfectly, unlike some of the veg which I think had only been threatened with boiling water.

I went to a wedding reception here and was impressed by it. The food was delicious and there was tons of it. The staff were very friendly and service was good. A very nice venue.

I was invited for Sunday Lunch which was a carvery, the restaurant is quite small, well decorated and gives views of a number of areas of the golf course and driving range. The courses were a little limited but the starter and the main were hot two types of meat available, beef and turkey with a good selection of vegetables. The puddings were on a trolley except for the hot option which did take quite a while to get to the table. Coffee was a little bit ropey, but we were informed that the water in the area always tasted tinny! Staff were pleasant overall it was a reasonable experience.
