Ramon's serves a fantastic breakfast! The sausages are flavorful, the bacon perfectly cooked, and the hash brown golden and crispy. The poached eggs are spot on, and the buttery toast, baked beans, and tomato complete the plate beautifully. A hearty, delicious start to the day!

This is the best breakfast place I’ve been to. My family came from London and shared the same sentiment. Very quick service. Very good sized portions. Clean environment. There is always something new when I walk in. There is a garden out back as well if you’d like to have some fresh air

Best breakfast cafe in the world

A nice cozy place for breakfast. One needs to order and pay at the cashier desk upfront. Staff appeared to be in a rush and service was ok ok. But overall good food.

Came at 8am unfortunately they were not open, looked for another cafe about a mile away near lidl looked at the menu prices were exorbitant left rapidly returned to Ramons hoping They had opened , then stayed for ramons special breakfast Excellent meal at a reasonable price in today's world, I would recommend this cafe .

Ordered this Yumurta yesterday to try Turkish cuisine for the first time. The food was amazing, lovely atmosphere as well. The service was great as well. Chef afiya was very friendly and lovely. Will visit the place again for sure.

This is only a rating for the service we received today as every single time I have visited previously the food and service has been amazing! Unfortunately the owners weren’t present today as this would not have happened. Turned up around 1.30 today to be told that we would not be able to have food unless we want the food black as they stop serving at 2.30 and the grill is dirty I had to double check with the young lady what she meant by black and she confirmed she could not cook us food unless we want the bacon ect black. We left very disappointed as Ramons has never refused us or let us down in the past!

Ever go into a breakfast place at 9:30 am and get the feeling the staff are annoyed that you're there. They couldn't have cared less.

Absolutely love this place, the atmosphere the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious and cooked to perfection. I found this place a few years back and I have never looked back thank you so much for the lovely food and warm welcome everytime

Lovely mega breakfast this morning...quite enjoyed it...the menu prices on Google maps need changing as they seem to have doubled in price a bit since they were posted.. was quite impressed Joel hansen had visited and scoffed the titan breakfast...needed a price displaying next to the challenge...looked the nuts ..all in all a good breakfast

It's too expensive.. Special breakfast used to cost £5.50 now it is £9.00 without extra bread. I used to eat breakfast here three times a week, now I will never go back.

A close love one of mine’s favourite hobby is complaining, moaning about it and venting; whether its nepotism in his work place, shady business practices or Health and Safety advisor dodging blatant problem of asbestos in his work environment. But one thing he did not complain about, the food at Ramon’s and I agree with him. He was just chowing it down as he goes on and on about health protocols being broken in his company whilst me and my partner were chowing down on our own big breakfasts. Recommend this place if you a good breakfast that you can just eat whilst you complain about your life.

Best breakfast around, food is always great.

It’s just not as good as it used to be. I ordered a big breakfast and it was dripping in oil. It was clear to me that everything was deepfried including the mushrooms and black pudding ( which were very crispy). Really disappointed and won’t be returning for a while. There are too many other choices that will do something nicer at a similar cost.

Best breakfast in Cardiff, unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for my waistline and wallet) it's not open early enough for me on weekdays, but I wish it was. Oh how I wish it was. Big man kiss Ramon!!!! (Italian style ;P )

Good food for competitive prices.

Unfortunately the most recent owners have changed my mind on the is previously 5 stars across the board cafe. For almost 20 years ramones was my go to for breakfast almost once a week, but alas no more. The prices have risen steeply, quality of the food has gone down (toddler served sausage that's almost all gristle) and they've stopped free refill on tea or coffee. Overall very disappointed with ramon's and shall no longer be going. Edit april22 went back after over 2 years, food quality has improved back to whatbit used to be which is great however now very expensive (£20 for 2 adult and 1 kids breakfast) still no free refills and the service was shockingly bad, cardboard in kids drink, defensive cook snapping at everyone. Seems my decision to stop going 2 years ago was the right one!

Best value and the best price. I’ve been travelling in England and Wales for 10 days and tried English breakfast in different places every morning. I can say this one was the best amongst the others by far! 😍😍 not only the food but the owners are making your experience even better, it’s run by a couple and they do their best and make sure you enjoy your food 😊 definitely recommended! Must go in Cardiff 🙏

Honestly amazing. From service with a smile to one of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had (and I've had a few) wouldn't hesitate to recommend this at all.

Waited 30 minutes for the worst fry up I ever had. I would of gone to cafe 37 but they were completely full. (Replying to response) I came in on Sunday at 12:39 8th August

Food and the portion were perfect but unfortunately the floor was dirty from previous customers. Staff were very friendly and chatty. Lovely place

Everything you want from a cafe for breakfast. Great value and friendly service.

Warm welcome. Clean tables. Varied menu. Friendly service. Food was delicious. Fish &chips- although the fish batter looked darker than we expected it tasted delicious and the portion size for the price was excellent value. Ramones breakfast - again delicious but meat could have been a little warmer. French Toast - super sweet fresh and the eggs with it were outstanding. Loved the beans were proper heinz. Floor needed a dam good sweep and mop. Short 20 min wait for food. Well worth the price. Will return.

First time back at Ramon's after recent lockdowns.....what a pleasure. Son and I visted at lunchtime on a Monday, no problem getting a table. Freshly cooked food arrived within minutes of ordering. We both are big eaters, but the "Ramon's Burger" defeated son, and I only just managed my mega breakfast. Very friendly and efficient staff, very clean, very safe. Lovely to be back. If it's fine dining you want probably best to head somewhere else, but for a proper fry-up Ramon's is definitely one of the best.

Huge breakfasts from a typical greasy spoon. No gluten free bread available which was disappointing, coffee was instant so ask by for an Americano if you want tidy coffee.

It's been 20 years since I first graced Ramon's as a student but by the love of all that is good it is the greasy spoon I still dream of two decades later. The blackboard once said of the Gut Buster, 'we dare you?'. Well do you Ramon's? Do you? 10/10 . Nothing compares 2 U.

Appalling service used too love this place don't no what happened to it tried over charging at first no big issue it only 80p but the look when I quizzed her at it said it all ! Asked for bread an butter instead of toast fair play i had it (but underneath my fd on plate ?) Then realised no sausages so asked politely abt it fair play she rushed straight out kitchen gripped 3 an threw them on my plate literally threw them lol jus a pity breakfast was nearly gone all in all jus saying place have gone down hill for me

Decent prices and a good breakfast! Took us 30 minutes to find a decent breakfast that isn't avocados in Cardiff! Covid safe, large gaps between tables and santising stations on entry! Happy with our visit!

Wouldn't even give 1 star, just picked up breakfast for me and my partner, practically unedible, was given fried bread instead of bread and butter, the breakfast was swimming in oil, sausages undercooked, never return, poor takeaway

Staff went out of there way to accommodate me..... gave me two baps because they ran out off rolls......awesome food.... defo recommend
