This bakery is no longer Ralph & Betty's it has changed to The Bakery Chasetown. As well as changing the name - everything has changed including taste and quality. I ordered a couple of sandwich platters as Whitehouse Butchers were full. This was a huge mistake. Firstly it was 25% dearer and I had to pay for the silver platter on top! Secondly they were very poor - stale, soggy and tasteless and looked like it had been thrown together. Today I had a roll which was very dry and again no care went into it filling just thrown in - here's a tip try using cling film when you're making them fresh so they at least stay together. All in all very poor quality and service - will never go back!

The food is fresh and perfectly prepared and cooked. Custom hot sandwiches are lovely, and the sausage rolls are tasty. The array of cakes for dessert, is wide enough to cater for the majority. We visit at least once every couple of months, if not more.

I believe it's now called 'The cafe' or something close but I can promise you excellent customer service, friendly chats and excellent tasting food and drinks!

Esta es la mejor panadería de la zona, con un excelente servicio al cliente y el personal es amable. Voy a menudo por aquí, y nunca he tenido malas desde aquí.

This Bakery is well-staffed and it offered delicious food, containing a respectful amount of healthy alternatives. The hygiene was great and the introduction of more seating was an obvious no brainer. Management will be pleased to know that they have earned a regular costumer.

We went here off reading reviews on this site and glad we did. The table was cleaned as we sat down, menus provided and we were shown the boards with the specials. You order at the counter and they accept cards which some cafes around here don't! I chose the Salmon and avocado sandwich with a bowl of soup (Butternut squash carrot and potato) Others had the Bigger breakfast which they both said was the best they've had in a long time, with thick cut fried bread. However they did say it soaked up the fat, so something for the owners to possibly look at changing for different bread or do them as toast as it's healthier 😉 Customer toilet to the rear, very pleasant. If I came back to Lichfield we'd definitely go back here, if you are looking for a good cafe, look no further!

Great pub, great landlady! Andrea is a credit to the brewery. The pub is very friendly and welcoming and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It's our favourite pub in Lichfield!

Food was fine, however, cost nearly £50 for 3 breakfasts & 3 hot drinks 😳

Very cold and unwelcoming, popped in for a quick coffee before my business meeting in the area. The dark haired lady was very cold and unwelcoming, the coffee shop itself looked quite basic and smelt like a greasy cafe which was a shame, being the only one in the village and surrounding area I would have thought it would be much more warm and welcoming, the coffee is cheap and not the best. I’m an avid coffee drinker and have coffees daily, I love to support little independent coffee shops wherever I am unfortunately not this one.

Massive shout out to Bar 55. A lovely bar tucked away. Attended a friend's uncle's 54th birthday last night and had a great night, singer was spot on. Big up Pete the birthday boy! Hawkstone beer as well. For anyone celebrating any birthdays id highly recommend Bar 55 it's the bomb.
