Rajs Food To Go in Cheshire East

Third time we've ordered here, ordered online this time and I don't recommend it. 2 hours later .... . A call just after an hour to say it's on its way, we chased that up just a few minutes before it arrived. No apology, no explanation and unfortunately the placatory poppadoms weren't there either. Food is great and it's a local business which I like to support, but I'll think twice about ordering again - and it WON'T be online :-( .... C'mon Elaichi, you can do better ....

Ordered food at 6 14 pm, it arrived at 8 20 pm - two hours later. I had to call to ask where our order was. I am unable to eat after 8 pm and I was given a delivery time of 7 25 pm. I have had to put my share of the food in the fridge for tomorrow. The entire order cost £39, waste of money as I now have to reheat tomorrow and terrible service. I will wait for our usual Chinese takeaway to reopen again before ordering another takeout.

As locals we are desperate for the White Lion to return to its glory days. We can walk there - super handy! Popped in for mid week family quick tea tonight to give it another go after recent mediocre experiences. Prices are high - but then the food is now self collection? Really? Bad start. Then waited 50 mins for food. Toilets out of order / no loo roll 🤢 so a bit cross by now i sought the manager. The manager replied with a slew of defensive ‘we are busy’ responses. The pub was ultra quiet… busy? Really? Then food arrived - oops was ready to collect. Definitely not worth the cost/ wait! Katsu curry ok. Veg cold on other meals. No apology issued at any point. I did point out an apology goes a long way! This is a village pub crying out for friendly service. Great food and service = repeat business and recommendation. Sadly we wont be back any time soon.

Came in for a quick latte with a bowl of chips, not that busy and the lady behind the counter kept asking what people wanted and took over 30 mins to be served and 20 mins of this was for my chips. SLOW SLOW SLOW

Shockingly ignorant staff who wouldn't CUT UP A PIZZA SLICE they sold for a TODDLER. Asked repeatedly and refused. Honestly the worst service I've ever had at a Greggs, not that it ever is really anything special. The food was overcooked and cold. The service was ignorant and the atmosphere was a service station so was never going to be more than one star anyway. Do yourself a favour and pack extra snacks instead. Service stations are the worst.
