Last visit wasn't good. Food was tasteless. This time madras main course was too salty and lacking spice. Service was very slow. Won't be back

Loved the place. There was a live music, food and service was awesome. We were seven of us and they managed to accommodate all of all on a busy Saturday night. Deffo recommend this place!!

I have ordered from this restaurant countless times at this point. This is the best Indian restaurant in Northern Ireland. Top quality food whether eating in or taking away. Fast service. I have tried so many different dishes and all of them have been perfect. Menu very fairly priced for what you get. I would recommend this place to anyone to eat in or take away.

We went without booking on Friday night. My partner does not eat meat and I eat v little meat so it was great to see monkfish and sea bass on the menu as well as prawns and the usual vegetarian dishes. Service was friendly and helpful and the food was great - freshly made, tasty. We had the salted chill prawns to share as a starter - it's noit a big portion but we most often see this in Chinese restaurants so wanted to try it - great! the chutney on the side was hot and the prawns were full of flavour. As a main course we ordered Monkfish Achari, pilau rice and some side dishes of Tarka dal and saag paneer, all shared between us. The Achari was a great flavour and the fish was tender and very fresh. The star was tarka dal. We eat a lot of dal and are quite picky - it was garlicky, flavourful. a little bite left in it. Saag paneer was again fresh, tasty and the paneer had been fried before mixining. All in all, a great meal for a great price. It's unlicensed but there is an off licence across the street (we didn't know this when we went in and it's not particularly clear on the signage). It's the closest thing to a Curry Mile restaurant in Rusholme that we have experienced in Belfast and we will be back. The only thing missing for us is some aubergine or okra dishes.

I placed an online order with just eats at 9.40pm on Sunday evening. The delivery time was quoted as 10-20 pm After placing the order I realised that we had nothing to eat the meal with. I made a quick call to the restaurant to ask if they could supply some plastic knives and forks with the delivery. We sat in the hotel reception and at exactly 10.20 the delivery driver who was very cheerful arrived with our order and some cutlery. The food was piping hot and really tasty Fantastic service and high quality food. Thank you very much. We will defiantly use you again when we are in Belfast

Couldn’t hear anything and food took an hour. Let’s be honest- Rajput is generally decent for food however there are so many other options in East Belfast it needs to improve. We were a table of 7- we waited over an hour for food from ordering (which was good but I was half man half poppadom at this stage). The food was nice but not stand out that you’d wait an hour for. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was good already but they had a band- I’m a fan of live music but this meant you actually couldn’t hear anything at all. Anyway waiting over an hour for food and not being able to hear anything isn’t a great combination. Wouldn’t go back.

Wednesday night, Ordered takeaway for delivery online, followed up by calling the restaurant to be sure they had recieved my order phone was told to wait 30 minutes, one hour later called and was told it would be right with me 1 hour 30 told it would be right with me still no food. This is disgraceful service and I will never use this restaurant again.

We loved our night at the Rajput, our meals were tasty and well cooked, the sag aloo was the best I've had in a long time. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and having excellent live entertainment was a bonus we weren't expecting. Looking forward to my next visit 😊

Ordered our food at 4.45pm and after 2 hours still havent received! Called 4 timesand was told the driver is on his way...I live 5 min walk away! Disgusting to be so greedy and take orders from customers that you can not fulfill.Now they are telling us that they cant refund us even though we ordered the their website!!scam!!

Order at 18.37 foned at 19.40 to be told it was out for delivery along with 14 other deliveries received at 20.10 ended up straight in the bin stone cold waste o f£20 not the drivers fault if u r giving that many deliveries 2 take all at once

Had a lovely meal here recently. Food was so fresh, had mixed starter, monkfish and prawns. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere was great with live music. Can’t wait to go back.

Lovely authentic meal as they know but they r serving. Great serve as they explain u every thing. Specialised In sea bass and other tandoori items mix grill etc. Looking for came again.

Really delicious food, we had tandoori sea bass and monkfish dhansak, both really delicious. Nice decor, clean, and the lady serving us was so sweet and smiley. We took our own wine to accompany the food, all in all a lovely evening.

The service was brilliant and servers very attentive even with a party of 20 to cater for. Every dish received glowing reviews- mine being the Sag. All had great experience and will definitely be back again

I came here with family on Saturday and from start to finish we were not disappointed. The staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome...food was absolutely amazing! Tasty dips and poppadoms were brought while we waited for our meal. The naan bread...

Chosen at random as was staying local. A bit more expensive than what I am used to, however the meal itself more than made up for it. An excellent chicken tikka masala and keema naan, and fantastic service as well. Would recommend

Ordered my meal on Uber eats at 4pm!! Way before the restaurant even opened. Requested it to be delivered at 6:45. Order showed as being prepared as normal. Got to 7:30 still no sign of delivery. Phoned Rajput, was told it was ready and waiting...

Ordered at 20:18, advised food wouldn't arrive until 21:20-21:40. I phoned restaurant at 21:45 to ask where it was and I was told it was out with the delivery driver. Food didn't arrive until 22:20 and when it finally arrived it was cold. Very disappointed.

Food arrived much later than originally advertised as it took the restaurant a while to accept it. Food was Luke warm at best and not as tasty as usual. But disappointed considering the price.

We have always been fans of the rajput, but our last two takeaways have been outstanding, whatever has changed the chicken tikka main meal is on another level of flavour absolutely delish!

We have been regular customers since restaurant opened. However, tonight is the last time. Ordered online at 18:10 for delivery at 19:00. The takeaway finally arrived at 20: 40 - 2 and a half hours after ordering. In the meantime I had phoned at 19:30...

What’s happened? Quality of the food is usually good. Tasted like the chef’s had run out of garlic and onion or just substituted both with salt!

When your favourite Indian changes management it can be somewhat worrying, however in this case the already excellent food has in fact improved. We had probably the best lamb Biriani I’ve had anywhere, premium basmati and melt in the mouth lamb, excellent chicken Naga and...

The chicken saag used to be perfect. Now it's just spicy. Always ordered from here as i cannot have spicy food and here was perfect . Please go back to your old recipe, everything else is great here.

Delivery was supposed to be between 1915 and 1935 but didn’t arrive until 1955. Food was cold when it arrived and had to be reheated in the microwave.

We both ordered what were termed ‘Medium Spiced’ meals and I’m not sure if it was because we ordered the delivery for a very early 5.45pm, or we were both unlucky, but both the Chicken Rogan and the Balti were totally free of any spice. We’ve had Kormas with more spice. Maybe the person who adds the cumin and chilli hadn’t arrived for work at that time.. the delivery arrived right on time and we’ve had great Rajput meals in the past, so we’ll doubtless order from there again and we do plan to visit the restaurant itself sometime soon, but this delivery was bland and below the usual standard.

Food was nice. But was missing a portion of rice. This has happened before. Also at nearly £40 I would have thought they would add some poppadoms.

Sauce was very watery and dips, unsure if the meal was frozen, popadum nice and naan was fresh, Curry resembled a frozen meal which was unfortunate given was almost £20 for what we got. Wouldn't order again given the watery sauces and frozen meal resemblance.

Food was a let down. Pilau rice was tasteless and greasy. The Salted chilli king prawns were too soft by far. Paid the guts of £25 for lousy food. Thanks for the dis pleasure

Ordered to collect on the way home was ready few minutes before estimated time so no complaints there, unfortunately that's where the good experience ends. Walked in to what I know as a restaurant however it resembled more of a man cave or a middle aged man's garage lots of random gym equipment lying around and smelled like a changing room, the 2 female members of staff were to busy sitting at the only table and chairs on their phones chatting and giggling one of them brought me my order very little interaction or customer service. Then we come to the food it was disgusting, chilli coriander naan had far to much chilli which was also over cooked, the byriani was bland the meat tough clearly reheated, the chicken tikka masala was thin and also very bland chicken reheated and tough. Safe to say will not be back nor will I recommend the place to anyone

Ordered Easter Sunday for six everyone agreed the meal was wonderful. My chicken methi special was absolutely delicious.

Your delivery driver was very rude and aggressive when walking into my house without being invited then quizzing me on whether the food I'd already paid for was mine! This was disgusting and I won't be ordering from here again.

We have had loads of orders from rajput which have all been outstanding, but sadly this order was far from outstanding. The pathia was watery and the sag which was supposed to be medium heat, very mild and teastless. We will use again as hopefully was a one off bad night.

First time ordering and definitely won’t be the last, been a customer of Indian Ocean Hollywood for many years but after tonight’s food from rajput they are in for some serious competition, ordered a butter chicken and chicken tikka madras firstly the flavours were on point definitely not that watered down sauce you get in cinnamon, chicken tikka and chicken in both mains was cooked to perfection, not hard like some reviews state, my sides of sag aloo and mattar paneer were great and large portions compared to other restaurants, Naan breads both nice and soft and one major thing that made the whole thing even better PERFECTLY FRIED CHIPS amazing guys keep it up!

Amazing once again, great quality food all around and the portions are more than generous. Meal arrived earlier than expected which was perfect as we were a very hungry bunch at the time of ordering. Cannot recommend this place enough especially if you love Indian cuisine.

Have always loved the Raj and tonight got the first takeaway. Was all delicious and arrived bang on time. Mixed starter, chicken Bhuna, pilau rice and nan. The perfect night in. Will deffo be ordering again.

Longterm customer twice per week. I usually love the dishes but chicken has been really bad the past few times. I have enjoyed the sauce and rice but probably wont order again.

Our food was delivered early and looked great. The order was complete but the chicken in both dishes was hard and chewy. The Korma and Madras sauce was lovely but the chicken had to be removed. Very disappointed tonight.

Get food from here now and again and always nice - However : Part of order missing on 16/01/21. Was told when telephoned at the time, that it would be refunded. Still hasn’t been refunded? Also advised that if I add item missing to next order via comment box would receive this for free- however don’t see box/option to do this????

The quality of the food is always great from this restaurant.

Our food was terrible. Items were cold. The prawn biryani spelt horrible and prawns tasted off. It was inedible. We used to love eating in the Rajput but this has put us off completely.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Food arrived 35/40 mins earlier than predicted. It arrived with a nan short (which we really wanted/needed) another nan arrived still well before the predicted time of the original delivery. Mistakes happen particularly on a busy sat night. The girl on the phone was lovely and the food was amazing. Will definitely order again 👌

The food was very bad, I normally place orders from this restaurant and have gone to the restaurant a few times. Both dishes are so sweet that can't even be eaten, our Masala's were never like this. The Onion bhaji were awful, they were almost cold and seemed previously cooked and just reheated. I felt really bad with the order, tried to call the restaurant for a refund and no pick up.

Food was great, was going to mark the service down to a 4 because I ordered lamb and got chicken but they get an extra star up to 5/6 for accomadating my request for potato's in a madras and the staff when I went to collect were very friendly. Definitely reccomend. Easy mistake to make about the chicken. Onion bhaji gets a special mention they were great.
