Save yourself the bother and go to Tesco. We ordered a delivery and the quality was very poor. The pilau rice was salty and oily, no flavour. The lamb rogan had barely any meat in and lacked flavour. The madras my partner had reminded us of a tomato pasta sauce. Honestly prefer the Tesco Indian deal. Next time we stay at Center Parcs we'll look into collecting from local takeaways.

First the positives, staff were very friendly and welcoming, we changed our booking 2 times on the day and they were very fine with it. Now, the bad parts, the poppadom sharing platter we ordered came out and in all of the Indian restaurants I've visited these were definitely the worst, they were cold and some were slightly stale. I ordered the madras curry, plain naan and plain rice, the madras tasted like tomato soup the flavour was so overpowering the only other thing I could taste was coriander, the naan was very underwhelming I'd compare it to a Tesco's one. My girlfriend ordered the korma which she said tasted of only cream and her gluten free naan was covered in gf flour that it felt like you just bit into a 100 year old book. Finally the cost was at least double of any Indian restaurant we've been to before. Won't be coming back.

I’m really surprised at all the negative reviews this place has. We visited during our stay at Center Parcs and loved it. The waiter we had was lovely and very helpful and the service was very quick. We started with the poppadom service which was the best we’d ever had anywhere with plenty of popadoms and lots of dips. (My daughter loved it so much she asked for one for desert! Haha) The main meals were small servings but we found them to be just the right size, particularly with naan bread as a side. Desert was also delicious and well presented. This meal was also the most reasonably priced of any we had at Center Parcs. I’d defiantly book again and everyone in the party agreed.

The best thing about this place is the staff. Sue served us, and she was effortlessly warm, genuine and professional; she made the evening a very pleasant experience. They had a good selection of non-alcoholic wines, which was nice to see and we got a bottle. The food, regrettably, is not good. It tastes like the sauces are made separately and the meat/veg/fish of choice is added when you order. The result is a bland dish that tastes a lot like an average supermarket ready meal. In England where every town has a decent Indian restaurant, you can’t get away with serving poor Indian food. The nice non-alcoholic wines and the excellent Sue saved the evening. The restaurant gets an extra star because of the staff. I hope the food can improve.

As someone with deep knowledge of Indian cuisine, I was deeply disappointed by the food at this restaurant. The biryani they served was a complete mockery—plain rice with a few pieces of lamb or vegetables carelessly thrown on top. This is not biryani by any standard. It’s clear that they are taking advantage of customers who may not be familiar with authentic Indian cuisine, misleading those who don’t know better. This is a shameful representation of Indian food. The raita was equally terrible, lacking any flavor or freshness. For the price they charge, the food is an absolute rip-off. This place does a disservice to the rich traditions of Indian cuisine. A supermarket Indian microwave meal would be better than this. Save your money and don’t get ripped off.

We visited Rajinda Pradesh for my daughters 18th Birthday in July. Having read the other reviews we were a bit apprehensive about the meal. I rang the restaurant prior to request a table with a nice view in the hope the could accommodate. I can honestly say that the restaurant could not have done any more for us and the entire evening was a fabulous experience. Our Server Leona was exceptional and a real credit to the restaurant. Not only did we get given a really nice table, there was a birthday card for my daughter, she received a free cocktail of her choice on the house and a free birthday brownie dessert. We had popodoms, starter sharing platters and individual meals and side orders of nan bread. The food was well presented and nicely portioned. We could not have had a better evening.

I think because the restaurant is placed in center parcs, you automatically assume it’s going to be great. Before we went, I read the reviews and was shocked and really not looking forward to the meal to say the absolute least. Myself and my partner went with our 5 month old. The front of house staff were nice, the seating and decor were really nice too. Our server was prompt in coming to take our order. I actually asked for a passion fruit martini even tho it wasn’t on the menu, they wouldn’t do it as their bar is minute! So I had a different cocktail which was actually really nice (couldn’t tell you the name!). We ordered a poppadom starter which was 10/10 we loved it! Served on a spinney plate, that was fun! And for Mains we shared a chicken korma, pilau rice, garlic naan, my partner had chips dusted with masala and I had chips loaded with tikka masala and crispy onions. The chicken korma was nice, if I’m honest it was just pretty standard and a very small bowl considering it was £16…! The pilau rice was ok too. The garlic naan however, my god they just have used every clove of garlic in the building! May be perfect to some but for us it was so, so overpowering. So we just scraped most of it off. My loaded chips were ok but I have to say - what is it with garnishing everything? Everything had a leaf on it 🤣🤣 despite that the food was pretty average and nothing special even tho the decor and appearance would say otherwise. I would comment on the service or food coming out, for the most part it was all pretty good timing but the korma came out a good 5 mins after everything else and when you’re eating without the main star of the show, it’s a bit poor. Our server ended up getting busy or ‘caught up’ as someone else said whilst we were waiting for the bill. we did complain at the end about our naan bread and it was a kind of shrug of the shoulder we don’t really care type of thing. Compared to all other reviews, I’d say this one isn’t bad at all - I would go again if given the opportunity but wouldn’t go crazy about it. The pics I’ve added are after we started eating, sorry!

Service was great, all the staff were very friendly. Quick service with drinks and food. Poppadoms were amazing, the lime pickle especially. Onion bhajis were great. Main courses were also really nice, we are two adults and two teenagers - portions are smaller than average Indian. So two rice were not enough, 4 dishes were fine -but could have done with one more and an extra rice. Nan bread yummy, well cooked, so a bit crispy on the edges overall we loved it 🥰

Having read some of the reviews we thought we would still give them a try and it was for my son in laws 30th birthday weekend. The starters were lovely and thought this is a great start. We had a variety, so onion bhajis, samosas, poppadoms, butter chicken wings and kebab. We ordered the mains which ranged from chicken kormas veg kormas chicken Madras and 3 chicken Rogan Joshs. The mains came out minus the chicken Rogan Joshs and we were told a few times that they were on their way. We had nearly finished our meals when the Rogan Joshs came out. Having been in many curry houses and seen how they are made by the chefs, all of the meals had sauces that were definitely out of a jar and when you are paying £15 -£18 just for the actual curry it is way way overpriced and disappointing to say the least. In fairness to the staff they did knock the late Rogan Joshs off the bill with the rice's that accompanied them and were very apologetic. But to be fair the restaurant was nearly empty so I'm surprised they had so many issues with the kitchen. As I said the staff were great but possibly short staffed even for the few tables that were in there. On a positive we still had a nice evening but this restaurant certainly needs to make changes and needs to serve authentic Curry's NOT out of a jar.

We had booked to have a meal here as a family of 9 with 3 young children so we had to be quick so we could get the kids back to the lodge to bed. After 10 minutes or so the waitress had to be prompted to take out orders. Everyone had ordered their food and it took around 20 minutes to come which is fine but sadly my cheese naan was missed off the order and so was one of the kids meals so we waited another 5 minutes for the kids meal to come out and still my naan hadn't come out and I had nearly finished my curry . At this point there was a little unrest at the table So I spoke with the manager which I told I wasn't paying for the curry I had because the naan never came out which ruined my experience and she understood and took it off the bill. The curry was the most expensive curry I had ever paid for and I've eaten in some of the best curry houses and I can safely say this was a country mile off being a proper curry house. I personally would never dine here again.

We ate here on our second night at Center Parcs and found the food to be of mixed quality. The poppadums and onion bhajis were very, very good - best onion bhajis I've ever tasted in fact and came with a delicious dipping sauce. Likewise the poppadums were very good quality - not soft or greasy like they sometimes can be. Unfortunately the experience was let down by the main courses. I had a chicken Madras which wasn't as spicy as you would expect and neither was the Jalfrezi apparently. I tasted the Tikka Masala my Mother ordered and we both agreed it had an unusual, tangy tomato taste and wasn't as sweet and creamy as you would expect from a Tikka Masala. Service was very good as we found in all the restaurants at CP.

Our whole family love Indian food, and have been to other Rajinda Pradesh restaurants in other Center Parcs, but this one is poor. Don’t order the lamb seekh kebab. It is no better than a thin piece chewy piece of donner meat cut into three bits with wafer thin piece of nan bread, and a bit of salad. Most expensive starter, and as I said, chewy. Next, I ordered the lamb madras. Grey chewy lamb, very little sauce with no madras kick. Best thing on the plate was the red chilli which was primarily there as decoration. The rest of the family, all adults, described their meals as, at best, meh. (At the lower end of mediocre). The Sports Bar did a lot better food at reasonable prices. No photos, nothing worth photographing

There is absolutely nothing authentic Indian about the food in this place. Just cheap mass produced rubbish. I had a chicken tikka starter and received poor quality thigh meat with a bit of seasoning, absolutely nothing like Tikka. For my main I had a lamb rogan josh with pilau rice and Peshwari naan. The lamb was cheap and fatty and the sauce was not a Rogan Josh. It was a dark brown stew type sauce, absolutely horrible. The rice was not cooked and the naan was hard and dried out and just shattered when bent. For the prices they charge, I expected this to be a top notch Indian restaurant (and it should be) but sadly it’s very far away from any Indian restaurant and lacks any kind of authenticity and uses cheap, low quality ingredients. A complete waste of money and a waste of an evening!

I visited this restaurant expecting authentic Indian food and was left extremely disappointed. The food was very expensive and tasted like it was from a jar. The onion bhaji also tasted like the ones you get from the supermarket. For the price of it; £17.50 for a butter chicken dish without rice (an additional £4.75 for rice), I wish that we’d just brought a jar sauce with us and cooked in our lodge to save ourselves £160! If you like your curry, do not go here. This is by far the worst Indian restaurant we’ve ever been to. The food is completely bland, lacking flavour and spice. Either re heated from batch or the chef ( not Indian btw ) is using Tesco Value microwave meals. The only saving grace was the popadums and Cobra lager. There is nothing authentic about this place, I can’t understand how some people have left 5 star reviews? Maybe they have just got out of a long stint inside, having lived on prison gruel for the last ten years. If you’ve booked Center Parcs, just cook something in the lodge a save a few quid.

Visited Rajinda Pradesh tonight at 18:30 for a meal with my partner and 7 yr old son who shares our dishes. When the menu came up I was really disappointed at the choice, I appreciate the current climate we are all in, but I think centre parcs parc market has a better selection of Indian food than their Indian restaurant. We shared the popadom starter which was fine, however the main dish i had was small, and definitely not authentic as advertised. For the starter, 2 mains, 2 rice, 2 sides and a J20, one cobra and a glass of rose wine was £70 which was very pricey for the portion size, and quality of the dishes / taste. Only good point the staff were lovely and couldn’t be faulted with the service they provided. Come on centre parcs you can do a lot better than this, new chef & decent menu to start with!!

I’ve been to many Indian restaurants. I know what good Indian food taste like. I was excited to try this place as it advertises itself as ‘authentic’ and I expected that the high price of dishes was reflected in that claim. However the food taste like it’s from a bad canteen. Starters were ‘ok’ but portions were tiny! Curry honestly tasted like ‘fish n chip curry sauce’ poured over your dish. Chef- If you are using canned Italian tomatoes or pasata and chucking in fresh curry leaves please stop! This does not work!! If you are using packet catering curry powders please stop! Whatever you are doing to your main dishes please stop! Everything taste tangy and sour and wrong! I never ever leave reviews like this but feel I need to otherwise you’re going to carry on thinking you are serving culinary delights that are worthy of £14 per dish! For diners, if you enjoy supermarket ready meal curries...then you may also be disappointed! If you want to eat Indian food, I suggest you wait until you’re back home and whilst you’re here book another restaurant! Sorry Rajinder Pradesh. Staff are lovely and service is great and no doubt everyone’s working hard in these times. But I need to be honest as harsh. Please look into your menu and what’s going into your dishes/flavours.

Family holiday of 12 adults and 5 children. This restaurant needs to be looked at by Centetparcs management as it is the only one that offers no value for money my wife and I ordered a lamb madras and chicken byriani. The menu stated the madras was hot and spicy. Wrong. It was neither and certainly in my days as a chef I can tell this was absolutely not cooked in the premises. The restaurant lacked atmosphere, was lacking in an Asian feel and our food was one step down from supermarket ready meals.our plain naan arrived burnt. When I pointed it out to the waiter he said" I will tell chef". Tell him what? That he sent out burnt food? Not an offer to remove unsuitable food from the bill. The menu is grossly overpriced and as mentioned in other reviews, a typical (you have no choice) attitude. I challenge Rajinda Pradesh to reply with a justification for the menu prices and honesty regarding the food origin. Avoid this place and go to any of the others onsite.

We are staying onsite at Center Parcs. After my little girl had finished a splendid wizard workshop we decided to eat here before going back to our lodge. We were seated at a table and asked for drinks. We ordered. We then noticed the draft coming from the vent above us, thinking this was A/C I asked the waitress as she delivered the drinks. She went off to check with the manager (never saw her again) we ordered food and again I asked about the vents, “it’s air con, it’s the outside air and not under our control, I’ll speak to the manager” off went waitress #2. My coat secured back over me we sat expecting to be moved, then the food arrived! I again expressed my thoughts in the Baltic air coming through the vents as the food was placed in front of me! “Do you want to move” said waiter #3. No I’ll just eat it quick and get out!I ordered a mixed tandoori my wife had the lamb kebab starter and my 3 year old had fish fingers and chips. On first site my food looked good, sizzling away on the griddle plate. Unfortunately I think it had been sizzling away for a few hours as everything was so overcooked it was almost chalky. My wife’s kebab was so dry as well (saved by the sauce) the best dish on the table was the fish fingers and chips! We duly complained and received a substantial discount but that is hardly the point. 2 hungry people left a very mediocre restaurant to heat up some beans when they got home. Cafe Rouge was far better. Give this one a miss, it’s dreadful.

Gone downhill fast!Gave this restaurant a 5/5 less than a year ago and it was always the best restaurant at Center Parcs but not anymore!Wobbly tables, out of stock items, dirty glasses and plates, no ambiance and terrible value on the food - all the hallmarks of a restaurant that knows you've got nowhere else to go.The first time we've left an Indian hungry before and that was after filling up on rice and naan. Samoosa starter was very small for £8 and when I pointed this out to the waitresses she brought another. Unfortunately the main was even worse value - £18 for prawn curry with THREE prawns. The chicken tikka was extremely dry and aloo tikki overspiced. I'm not exaggerating when I say M&S microwave curries would have been miles better than our meal. The only positive was the service by Becka, which improved my overall rating of the restaurant from Terrible to Poor. Won't return so definitely can't recommend.Unfortunately, we've exhausted all the restaurants at Center Parcs now so if we do return to the village we will be going 100% self-catering.

The menu range was limited and the prices high . We eat Indian food very frequently and were disappointed by the food choices. As a veggie small choice and my meal was small and expensive

Only 2 tables in on a friday night. Service was terrible waiting 45 minutes for our food to arrive with a young family. No Atmosphere and food not great. Massively overpriced for the quality and volume of food you get. Will not be going back.

Good tasty food. Not too spicy. Good selection. Price was a little high, but worth the experience to have more time to relax. We had to wait about an hour for delivery, but it was worth the wait. Naan breads were lovely. I had the King Prawn Madras, which was just spicy enough without being too hot.

Found the Asian elements of the menu to be excellent. Service was ok by setting was lovely and we were in no rush. It can be a little pricey, so look out for offers, we had a free bottle of wine, which made it feel very good value for money. Would definitely go back.

I had forgotten to phone ahead to notify the chef of my allergy requirements. As soon as I mentioned my allergy requirements Becca our waitress was very patient and listened then went to speak to the chef. Another waiter gave me a tablet which had all the allergens listed. I was blown away when the Chef (Andrew) came and sat with me and listened to my restrictions (of which their are many). He personally made me a chicken kebab without tomatoes a little salad and found a gluten free naan without potato starch and made a delicious meal.

It would seem that the ingredients are pre made and then veg/meat added! No I Dian chef and the worst curry I have not eaten! Service at the Whinfell is always good but felt sorry for the staff who had to deal with complaints. I cook a great curry!!! Maybe I should apply for the job! Don’t waste your money.

We've dined at many an Indian restaurant and the food here was not up to scratch. The sheski kabab was awful. The peshwari naan was ruined with an excessive amount of butter.

paid the same price as a Michelin star Indian restaurant! only to get Indian food that was poorly made. Staff were friendly and did not charge us for a particular dish that was left hardly eaten.

Visited this establishment whilst on holiday with my family. Throughout, the staff were a delight to deal with - at one point taking the blame for a spillage that was clearly our fault! However, you go to a restaurant to eat. The food was awful. We all chose “Indian” meals but it was neither authentic to India or, as perhaps you may expect, British Indian restaurant cuisine. It tasted like someone had tipped a value range cook in sauce jar into a pan. There was no subtlety of spicing or flavours. It was horrid. I can easily achieve better at home. Horrible horrible horrible. Twice the price of of normal Indian meal at one tenth of the quality. Avoid.

We had a great meal here, the waitress was just amazing. Friendly, attentive, engaging. The food was really good with authentic flavours. Sitting outside on the raised promenade on a sunny Sunday evening was just priceless, to back this up with great food and even better service was just perfect.

The worst curry me and my partner have ever eaten, tasted like a Tesco microwave meal. Unfortunately I didn’t check the reviews before I come if I did then I would have gone somewhere else. The prices are ridiculous for the disgusting food that was brought out to us!

Food was shocking from start to finish . Poppadoms greasy , onion bhaji dripping of oil . Seekh kebab looked like a pate which was very unusual . Chicken tikka colourful but tasteless. Wish I took a picture of the seekh kebab as I never seen one like that . Looked like a beef Wellington cut in thin slices and put on a plate. Chicken tikka masala taste like Heinz soup . Chicken makani taste like Heinz weight watchers chicken curry . Staff was nice though and did give us a discount as I gave my feedback .Being British Indian and tasted loads of curry’s before this has to be the worse . I wish I read the reviews on here before I went there . Dishes will look nice and presentable but food is shocking . Venue is nice and staff Too that’s the only positive thing I can find . I paid £50 with discount but wasn’t worth it . I done this review while I’m on holiday as the food was so bad which I never have done before . Center parc listen to customers and do something about the restaurant .

Booked an evening meal at Rajinda (Woburn) for two of us. Service was OK, but the food was horrific! Our curries looked and tasted like something out of a tin; thick gloop with a lack of flavour and meat. The sides were just as bad, and don't even get me started on the poppadoms and sauces. A revolting and very expensive experience.

Disappointed as I had to ask for some chillies (I wasn't going overboard with the heat) and salt (they had to borrow it from next door at Las Iguanas). Flavourless. need a proper chef.

We went to cafe rouge on the day we arrived at Center Parcs. Extremely slow service took 40mins for our starters to arrive. The main course was nearly as long. Mistakes were made in the order and some of the meals were tepid, making you think they had been sitting on the side waiting for the other dishes to be cooked. I had a mushroom croque which was inedible. I asked for a side of fries that never arrived. Very poor standard all round.

Turned up slightly early for an evening and was promptly told very rudely to go away by a manager, very disappointing start to the evening. Besides that, the food was very good, as a group we did a number of the deals so had a good mix of food to try out. Food was good throughout although a little pricey.

We came as a group of 3 and were greeted warmly by the very friendly guy at the door and shown to our seats. The sun was right in our face at the table we were led to but we were quickly allocated a new table away from the glare, so that was good, however I had to maneuver my elbow to keep it from a dry patch of curry on the table. Our food was served to us within a reasonable amount of time, however one of the drinks served was incorrect, this was quickly exchanged. The food was lovely, though I found my curry a bit more watery than I would have liked. If not for the few errors this could have been a 4 star. The guy who showed us to our table demonstrated the best service of our time there.

We were pretty disappointed with our meal here. The starter platter and poppadums were ok, although the poppadums were not fresh. The curries were awful! Like a ready meal, and not a good one. We had the banquet menu and this came with two curries and a tiny portion of rice. We asked for more as we could see it was not enough, we needn't have bothered as the curries were inedible anyway.

Had a wonderful two course meal here on a busy Saturday evening. Friendly greeting, lovely setting and atmosphere. The food was so tasty! Two members of our party were gluten free & vegan but the menu had plenty of options for them, and even desserts too which is rare! A very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend for an evening meal! Just wish I had ordered more food as it was beautifully made!

We chose Rajinda Pradesh as our dinner option after a day at the Aqua Sana spa (they ask you to pre-book one of the restaurants on site). We love Indian food so it was an easy choice to make and we hadn't been to this restaurant before.

We arrived at about 9pm after a spa session. Service was quite slow. It always annoys me when staff make a big deal as though they're doing you a favour giving you a table when the place is almost empty. We wanted to order a banquet but swap one of the entrees for something else, we weren't allowed. The sauces we were given with our entrees were completely wrong. We were supposed to be served XO sauce - we got everything( after asking )from Hot chilli to mint!. The food was quite nice but it's definately made by a cook not a chef.

My partner and I love Indian food and in all the times I’ve been to Center Parcs I’ve never tried Rajinda Pradesh..... wish it had stayed that way! The prices were shocking and definitely not indicative of the quality of the food. Double the price of any Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to and other than the poppadoms, I didn’t enjoy the meal at all. The rogan josh and Bombay aloo were nothing short of disgusting. On the upside, we both said how great the service was.

We have never had such a bad Indian meal, it was admitted that the food is brought in frozen. The meat was sometimes too tough to eat and the saag had no spinach. The staff didn't feel able to resolve anything and instead you just get "that is the way we do it" or "sorry our chefs are new" no hint of taking food back or cancelling.

I would thoroughly recommend people order from one of the local Indians and have it delivered. The prices here are steep, over £100 for 4 adults and 2 kids, i would struggle to spend that with beer in any of the local places. Preying on the captive audience with average and tasteleess food.

We opted for the special menu £25 per head as seemed easiest with 6 us in the party. I really liked the onion bharji starter but the chicken tikka was a little dry. My main korma was not great, not creamy enough and too tangy to be a korma in my opinion.

Enjoyed our meal here whilst staying at Center Parcs. We also opted for the £25 meal deal which is quite good value for money as you get a drink included. 6 of us ate, they all loved their food. Poppadoms were delicious but my Chicken Tikka Masala was a little dry and the chicken didn’t taste succulent and fresh. Keema rice was a bit bland. Apart from that, good food. Service was great. It wasn’t too busy there.

I visited today during a stay at Centre Parcs for an evening meal with my family. We opted for the special menu which includes the poppadoms, starter, main and a drink for £25.00 per head (minimum 2 persons). I went for the Bhuna as the main noting its under the chefs recommended section and honestly it was the worst Bhuna I have ever eaten including the jar versions from your local supermarket.

Honestly I'm sure if authentic Indians knew they were dishing out food like this they'd close the place down themselves. Ordered through Justeat and my food? I guess you could almost call it that. Korma was like a soup, poppadoms were so mush they bend like a boomerang, but you'd hope they didn't come back after throwing them. Vindaloo? Had better from Iceland. Honestly shocked this place is allowed to operate. Probably the only place Gordon Ramsey couldn't save, I believe Amy's bakery had a better shot.
