Im not sure if I’ve ordered from the right place . We have been to the jolly farmers and the food was so good. Ordered a takeaway tonight and it was really bad. Tangy sauce , hardly any meat , the keema naan not even sure what was in it 🫣I’m sorry but it was really disappointing ☹️

Absolutely exceptional. The best curry I’ve tasted in South London. Fresh and great tasting - fast delivery! Cannot understand why your rating isn’t higher! It’s a 5 from me!

Wish I had asked how long the delivery would take before ordering and paying. Was told one hour which was a bit annoying, but actually took one hour forty minutes. Couldn’t fault the food, but the wait rather took the edge off things.

Have regularly ordered from Rajeev's & 90% of the time am not dis-appointed with the taste & quality of dishes. I personally prefer less salt & at times i find it a tad over but again that's me. The reason that some find it a little spicy hot, as the dishes are authentic & not piped down for milder palates.

Very Disappointed. We ordered a takeaway from Rajeev’s in the Kenley Arms pub. We had a mixed platter delivered. The mix platter had lamb chops in it and they tasted terrible almost like rotten meat they were very soft not like normal meat, they was probably frozen and tasted awful. I wasn’t that impressed with the rest of the food either and woke up in the middle of the night with a deli belly and I was on the loo several times the next day too. I wouldn’t recommend Rajeev’s to anybody that appreciates quality food.

I used to patronise Rajeev's back when he was at Hamsey Green. My review will reflect the current dine-in experience at the Kenley Hotel. Firstly the food is still its typical high quality. The salsa selection provided for the poppadums is as good as it always was. Clearly high quality and fresh. The presentation of the poppadums and salsa tray was also lovely. The food itself is also just as good as it always was, and is still presented in those quaint little saucepans. Their South Indian Chicken Curry is still gorgeous. Unfortunately though the change of venue hits VERY hard. Despite advertising that they now offer "dine in" this is an awkward experience. They are based in the pub, with a few tables in the corner seemingly intended for their use, however these are still standard pub tables, with mismatched chairs, poor cutlery, and is in no way separated from the rest of the pub. This does mean you end up with the rest of the pub patrons sitting around you while you're dining. Also with the change of venue comes a slip in service. It appears that the operation is Rajeev in the kitchen, and his wife taking orders for take-away and seating anyone weird enough to want to dine in. While we were seated and our order taken, drinks must be purchased entirely separately from the pub bar. Also when asking for the bill at the end of our meal we were simply handed a curly receipt print-out - no billfold, no chocolates, no warm hand towels. I appreciate this sounds pretentious, however they are still priced very much akin to any other restaurant where these aspects are expected. The take-away here is take away! Their "dine in" experience is not "fine dining" as their menus claim, nor is it even akin to a standard restaurant. They seem to want to charge restaurant prices for a pretty poor pub dining experience. It's a shame as the food is still great. Best option - stick to take-aways from Rajeev!

food arrived 30 mins late no comms from restaurant to inform delay called them and they were not able to find my deliveroo order - total confusion not ordering again sadly!!

Food here is delicious, but a bit pricy, I ordered because there was a buy one get one free offer. I ordered the Mixed Kari, which was a mixture of meats with onions, peppers in a karai masala, it was lovely.

Delicious food.. flavours were great but what let it down were the naan breads that were dry, burnt and crispy.

1st time ordering tonight. Won't be the last. Delicious food. Quick delivery. Fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Always incredible food and service. We regularly get takeaways from Rajeev's and we're never disappointed. The food is always delicious and they happily cater to our picky vegetarian needs. Whether it's just the two of us or if we order with guests, everyone loves their meals. One of my absolute favourite Indian restaurants around :)

I had a takeaway meal from Rajeev’s, for me and my friends, the meal was superb, the best Indian takeaway by far, the service is also superb and quick. Rajeev’s is definitely good value for quality food, totally recommend Rajeev’s.

BEWARE if you are ordering takeaway after checking the price on the internet. Ordered Tirangi Murghi and the price on the menu is £6.00 per portion and to my utter surprise the lady charged me £7.50 per portion . When i asked her she says we increased the price. Eh! How is that fair at all its a con. No apology nothing .

Terrible option for delivery. Turned up 40 minutes late, stone cold, no word of an apology, and no update until I chased them. Given they are far from a cheap option, it’s very shoddy indeed, even cutting them some slack given the circumstances they are operating under.

Nice meal with restricted menu, Although only 3 stars waiting for The full menu before i can properly judge.

We tried this takeaway for the first time last night and wow !! Very impressed. Our new fave !!!!

I was treated to yet another delicious, sit in and eat, chicken tikka masala, sagg aloo and pilau rice, with a perswari nan, poppadoms and salad and mint raitha, etc. It was a bit quiet, due to it being a Monday night, consequently it made it simple, to just walk in, without makin a booking b4 hand ! ! ! The service was excellent ! ! ! Very very reasonable prices and I'm in a happy happy mind set for the rest of the evening ! ! !

Great food! Simple menu and beautiful flavours. Lovely staff and good service.

Decent enough food but quite small portions for the price. Not exactly service with a smile and didn't turn heating on until more people turned up at the restaurant. On a cold night this in itself would be enough to stop me coming back.

I ordered food after eating I thought it’s waste of money. It was really disappointed 😔.

I ordered Chicken Methi and Lamb kari for take away assuming they would be medium heat dishes. They were so chilli powder hot neither were enjoyable. Even my sons chick tikki masala was quite warm in strength and not as mild and coconut flavoured as it should be. Okra side was poor, over cooked and the onion baji were ousing oil. Not a great first experience at this restaurant and NOT cheap. Will not make the same mistake.

Seriously good food. Very fresh and extremely tasty. My new go-to place. Stand out dish was the methi lamb.

The food is very nice if it is delivered. Ordered at 7.30 and by 9pm it still had not arrived. I phoned the restaurant to be told my order was on route. 10 pm again phoned restaurant ,the guy apologized and said they would send the order but by then it would be nearly 3hours since I placed the order. Sadly had to cancel the order. I am regular customer the food is good but it would be nice if they actually delivered it.

The finest Indian in the area of Warlingham & Hamsey Green.

Good deal on their Sunday buffet and lovely food. Service can be a bit hit and miss and they don't seem to understand what booking a table means. I'd recommend for the food alone.

My review is only for Sunday buffet. Priced at £8.95, I would say you get what pay for. Nothing special but just value for money if you like more curries. Starters are limited but cooked fresh and served to you on the table. Restaurant is very nice Inside and out and food presentation is also good. Options are very limited in buffet and quality is just above par. You may give it a try if you live nearby. What annoyed me was the rude behavior of the staff when I asked them to replace my messy plate. They asked me to use the same messy plate. No harm in giving your customer a fresh plate!!! They deserve clean eating at buffet.

We’ve only ordered take away food from Rajeev. The delivery has always been before the specified time and the quality of food has been excellent with good portion sizes for the main dishes. We will be going back for more.

Sunday buffet is great value and great food

They were short staffed for a busy Fri evening, and were not serving the mocktails on the drinks menu. The food was okay - nothing to write home about. Parking is a big pain in the area, although that is reflection on the restaurant.

Had another tasty Sunday buffet today. Reliably decent food, today was better than usual. Easy relaxed place to visit

Had a takeaway and was blown.away by how it stood out taste/flavours wise so had a.birthday meal for 8 last.night Food was brilliant, menu just different enough with southern indinian slant...would recommend for food but as many others have said service does not match it which is a shame There is a well established large indian restaurant a few doors away....Ranjeeves deserves to be full....just improve the service particularly one server....

Been using this Indian restaurant for the last 3 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. We've brought friends here and they said the same thing the food is just incredible. We've Also had the pleasure of meeting Rajeev himself and he's talked us through some of his dishes and the history of them. And his restaurant staff, especially shohid couldn't be more helpful and friendly. One other thing is there Sunday buffet, you get a starter to die for and then onto a mouth watering display of various dishes.come and try this wonderful place you will not be disappointed.

Food is awesome...... but the service isint..

Authentic Indian Went there for a birthday celebration, group of 16, everyone enjoyed the food. Reasonable prices too.

The food is nice and affordable. The Sunday brunch is ideal!! We wouldn't make this out first choice because the waiter is grumpy.

Had a meal tonight. Very disappointed. We order a takeaway a lot from there. Service wasn't wonderful. Got our order wrong, starter and main!!!. Nan breads were semi raw. Extremely disappointed to say in the least.

Friendly staff and do a really good madras

Had a dinner last night with the family at Rajeev's. Food as usual excellent. You can taste the spices and not just curry powder thrown in to make it hot. Proper Indian food by a chef who knows how to cook! Best Indian food we have had in years

Great food and you can use a Tastecard on a Friday. Great service and we went on a Bollywood night. Try this place.

Went on a Sunday evening and were the only table. The guy on duty was disinterested, almost threw plates and food on the table and seemed to resent the fact that we were even there! The bill was given to us without us asking for it. On the positive, the food was really excellent, especially the Bombay starters. Would love to go back, but am not sure I will,given the last experience! Rajesh, I hope you are reading this!

Gone down hill a bit recently. but still good value

We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was virtually empty and with no background music, it felt like eating in a library. The service was pretty poor with the waiter just showing no interest. The food was ok, but nothing special and best described as (it was) fine rather than fine dining in my opinion. Won't return given the many other good restaurants in the area.
