Normally have a good meal from here but last few times the chips have been horrible. Today they were hard and chewy and looked and tasted as if they were baked up from 3 days ago! Went in the bin

Butter chicken was very tomatoey and not very creamy and was fairly spicy - much too hot for our kids. Everything else was good though the dips were a bit too sweet.

Indian food. always fantastic and delivered hot.

Lamb tika in curry was over cooked and dry as a bone. The onion bajee was horrible with very little onion in it, tasted like it was manly lentals

Tried this place for the first time tonight, the food was amazing, arrived early and was still hot. Definitely recommend

First time visit on a Saturday. We booked, as table was for 7. Extensive menu. All the favourites. The 'signature dishes' were all unique as far as I could tell, and from this I chose Chicken Chemali. Which had a sort of soy, honey,sticky vibe, and utterly delicious. Signature dish meant it came with matched rice and a triangular plate. Standard dishes had circular plates.... Nice touches included....trolley bringing food to our table included a gas hob to ensure perfect temp for the dishes......waiters asked how much of your dish you wanted to start with on your plate, and measured it out for you.....free shots at the end with a choice of sweets/after eights/aniseed. Wonderful service and a pleasant setting right near the huge free car park of Olton Station. Update 14/1/23. Another Very Successful takeaway. Now our go-to Indian Restaurant Update 19/9/23. Another excellent meal in the restaurant. All others are now compared to this one, as the benchmark. Look out for special offer when you dine in off peak. Update 5/2/24. Still great. I think the plates are a bit bigger? We were all stuffed. Saturday evening and it was packed, but still great food. Update 22/9/24. They've updated their menu. All the old favorites of mine, and some new ones to try over coming visits...... All with dish names I don't think I've seen on a menu before. Check it out! Just remember to book on Saturdays. PS, there's currently 25% off food when you dine in Sunday to Thursday

Granted we got to the restaurant at 22:15 on a Saturday night but they had a choice to serve us or not , they accepted our order for four of us and we ate our food within 30 - 40mins which was good , the bill came and we included a 10% tip , however throughout the meal we felt rushed and when I went to the toilet at the end of the meal I even said we are leaving now and the manager replied “that’s good” ( after only been there 40 mins and paying £80 ) I did point out to him that the customer service was shocking and that they didn’t make us feel welcome but his response was that it was late and that’s fine but they had a choice to take our custom or not , they took our custom and took our money and a tip so we should of received the same level of service that all customers received , but I have nothing to grade that against because all customer service might be this shocking because it was an empty restaurant at 22:15 next to a pub on a Saturday night speaks volumes!!!. The manager was more interested in arguing with me than listening to my constructive feedback. Never again very poor .

A favourite restaurant for special occasions. Food is gorgeous! You can eat indoors or order for a delivery. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very professional.

Balti tasted like any generic curry jar sauce, not like a traditional Balti at all. Very disappointed.

Absolutely amazing 10/10 the chicken in the curry just melted apart, we asked for the chicken pathia to be mild and if was perfect. The chicken pakora was tender and just delicious. I will definitely be ordering again soon

Phenomenal customer service and even though they had a full restaurant, the service & quality of food did not drop. Hats off to the team at Rajasthan, a well deserved review. See you soon! My family and I have a saying that "the Rajasthan don't miss", and nothing could be more true. I've had countless meals here and takeaways and the menu is varied, quality and always delivers! The service is attentive and friendly and this place ranks highly amongst the best of Birmingham and nearby towns.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat here. Phoned and booked a table, and when we arrived, the place was very busy, and obviously, there was no table available. There were other customers there who were in the same position....calling for taxi's to eat elsewhere. In the end had a lovely curry at another restaurant. Shouldn't take bookings if you have no intentions of honouring it.

Extensive menue.Good value meal.Staff helpful. Naans excellent. Less food colour would be a good idea,some dishes very bright. Food freshly cooked though. Bar well kept. Sound can bounce around a little. Very yummy bargis. Chicken tikki, Chicken shatkora, Chicken Akhri,were our main dishes. Good parking at rear of restaurant.

I felt literally scammed from this place. We were visiting Solihull and wanted to eat Indian food and after searching on Google we found this restaurant. I am originally from Rajasthan so I was in joy after reading the name and was looking forward to some great Rajasthani food. This food is nowhere close to Rajasthan, nothing in the menu resembles Rajasthan, this is a Bangladeshi restaurant scamming in the name of Rajasthan. Even as an Indian restaurant the food quality is not good. There is no base gravy for paneer , veg Biryani is nothing but a mix of frozen vegetable plus rice, ordered another vegetable dish which ended up as vegetables being tossed up in animal fat. Now every time I check if the UK Indian restaurant is actually serving Indian food or a cheap copy of Indian restaurants with fancy names only.

Pros - Food was very enjoyable and tasty and would order from here again but......... Cons - Wrong rice dish sent. Unsure what my duck tikka korma was meant to be/taste like but looked like normal duck in korma sauce no sign of tikka. Cheese naans lacked cheese.

Usually the food is very good from here. The last 2 times the Chicken Pathia has been completely tasteless, no flavour at all ! The delivery comes within 30 mins I do wonder if they are just rushing the food out. Emailed and messaged them but no one replied !

I was excited to visit and try the restaurant. I was very disappointed, I noticed the restaurant had a funny smell, almost like urine saturated carpets/upholstery, so immediately put off. Some of us did not order alcohol as it was a week night, so the waiter was funny with us, he snatched the drink menu from my hands and another friends hand and stomped away. He did this again when he till our order as we did not have starters. When my food arrived I wanted salt and vinegar and some sauces for my chips, I went to ask a man who was over by the bar and he fitted at me, saying it is on your table. When I said there was none he stomped over to the table to check, to which he found we did not have any, then he huffed and went and got some for me. Needless to say I did not have any desire to tip the restaurant or have no desire to return. I will not be recommending to any friends or family, in fact I have gone out of my way to tell people my bad experience. The omlette was ok, I mean how hard is it to make omlette. Chips were awful, hard and cold.

I love love love this place. It’s a short distance from home and the food is always just how I want it! I ordered a Chicken Tikka Puri and Salad as a main dish for £8.50 as a takeaway, this has to be my ALL time favourite south Asian dish and it’s beyond delicious 😍 Ofcourse I requested this be made as hot as a vindaloo curry because I love the fire in the spice 🌶️🔥 but you can alter this to your taste.. Best starter dish any south Asian restaurant can have on their menu.. 😍 A lovely independent business based on the Warwick Road, Olton, Solihull. The perfect curry house for some amazing food!! The staff are always so attentive and helpful 😊

This place has been my regular for many months now. Today we ordered a tikka masalla and some other bits. My fiance ate the masalla and bit into something weird. Turns out it was a glacé cherry. We phoned the restaurant about it, we told them we weren't looking for a refund, but wanted to let them know what we'd found, in case it might affect other customers as its a cross contamination issue. We were offered no apology, and the guy couldn't get us off the phone quick enough after saying the chef made a mistake. Despite this being a glacé cherry, the experience has left a pretty sour taste in our mouths, and it's unlikely we will be ordering from here again. I can't recommend this restaurant due to poor customer care, and poor food hygiene.

Masala and sagwala curry was amazing. Great flavours but, their naans were quite disappointing. I ordered one with cheese and I didn't taste any and there was non on the top either. So I'm not sure if they put it within the naan, but either way, I've had better from other Indians

We came to the Rajasthan for my brother’s birthday. The food was amazing and the staff were attentive and lovely! We have been coming to the Rajasthan for years and will absolutely be back.

Food was great, service was awful. Took 1 hour for poppadoms to be served. After 2 hours we were still waiting on our main. No apology, no discount. Wasted time and wasted money. Food wasn't worth the bad service.

Our first order from this restaurant after hearing good things. I agree with the good things I heard. Food was delivered well packaged piping hot and was of high quality. A tasty curry, stunningly tasty chicken fried rice and a soft naan bread. Can’t remember the last time I had a soft naan. Looking forward to our next meal from here.

Such a nice curry! Asked for it hot and it actually came hot... So often do places think 'hot' means slightly less mild than a korma. Would definitely recommend if you're a hot curry fan. My only criticism: it would have been good to see a wider veggie selection.

Can’t keep away from the place. 25 per cent off does help loads. Food as you can see always get loads. Staff are always on hand if you want extra drinks and very polite. Be nice if the manager was to break a smile now and then lol.

The delivery was late my food was cold didn’t have the right amount of changed pretend to transfer me money and i haven’t got my change

Starter was described as slightly hot but had no spice heat; it was very, very salty though. Main course of chilli chicken was fairly bland. Overall, I was disappointed as I've had much better from this restaurant previously.

Food was lovely, but delivery times awful. Before ordering 45-60mins delivery time, after ordering 90mins delivery time. Food arrived 15 mins after placing my order!

Ive eaten every single item on this menu, ive lived in olton / acocks green for 3 years now and this is THE BEST around by a long way aswell the only place that compares for me is 7 miles away and almost double in cost
