Rajas in Bradford

Very very positive experience at this establishment! We ordered food for takeout and got it quite fast, we needed to go to the shop next door but had a lot of stuff on us and it was raining and windy outside so the worker at the front said we can leave it there while we go which was extremely helpful!!! We came home and had the food and it was really delicious and exactly what we needed! Very tasty, everything was perfect. It’s hard to find amazing service and good food all in one place, highly recommend this place. 100/10

Ordered food got late to collect guy said he gave it to staff to eat but can't make me another one now unless I pay twice. What a Joke. Wouldn't recommend anymore and we use these guys 2 3 times a week to have this service

Heard many things about the peri burger tried it myself absolutely banging

Words cannot fathom how disappointed I was with my recent order. I have been a regular customer of Raja’s for a number of of years. This rajas was previously good giving good quality food and portion sizes. However having ordered here after months it felt like they were cutting corners and intentionally giving inadequate portions and quality food to save on money. The donner in pita I ordered was a large portion however I got what seemed to be the regular when I questioned the staff they replied this is the big portion the pita is the same size as a regular with extra donner. They said the regular has even less donner in it looking at the attached picture you can tell it was far from a large, the staff member also indirectly hinted this was a surprise to him. Also the chicken strips I ordered was a sliced up fillet. The rest of the food was standard just frozen nuggets, however the spicy burger I ordered was a regular fillet covered in chilly oil and grilled to reheat causing it to taste burnt. I won’t be going here again I strongly advise others to also not go until they re-evaluate things and improv.

Lovely staff brilliant food takes me back to the 90s

I came to Rajas, as the other place I was looking for had closed down, so into the shop I went, with no real idea what I wanted, the guy behind the counter greeted me warmly and very friendly, he asked me what I liked and from that he guided me to 3 choices, all of which he highly recommended. I chose the Rajas special Kebab on a Naan. I was not disappointed in his recommendation, once it had been prepared, before it was wrapped for me to take away, I was shown my meal, OMG, it was a huge Naan bread 20 inches across, freshly baked, piled with Donner meat, chicken tikka and salad and it smelt absolutely delicious. I had chosen not to get chips, I'm so glad I didn't, because I struggled to eat what I had, I ended up only eating half the naan, which is a shame as it was delicious. The chicken and the Donner meat were so tasty too. Great meal, will certainly be going here again. The staff were all friendly and full of smiles, nothing seemed to much for them at all. Nice take away venue. Grilled burgers have good taste to them. They do different pizza selection too.

Order a number of times, at different times of the day and on different days to see if we get any consistency in the quality of food. Our thoughts from the number of orders we have placed: The chicken fillet burgers were absolutely tasty and would definitely order them again (we have a number of times and tasty every time!!). The chips were salty, soggy and they were thrown in the bin. We have ordered 4 different pizzas and all were pretty much tasteless, with not a huge amount of toppings.....but that's understandable for the price. With the garlic margherita, it says that it comes with garlic sauce, but it seems that they had covered in butter, as it was dripping with grease and tasted like a plain margherita. Wouldn't recommend the pizzas, but definitely order the chicken fillet burgers!

The chicken burger tasted as been off like old pre heated chicken & the mint sauce smelled and tasted like dry paint. Very expensive compared to other Raja outlets in Bradford.

Beautiful place, lovely food and friendly service. The price is decent.We visited couple of time. Definitely recommend for others.

I understand prices are going up everywhere however £6.50 for a tower burger meal? Please review your prices as your food isn’t that special!!!

Good food came piping hot the wings were very nice and fresh and the chicken was cooked to perfection will defo recommend Overall 8/10

I was very disappointed to collect pizzas from Raja Pizza at Manchester Road. They are not now making pizza at good quality and at good filling. Absolutely waste of £15 on 3 pizzas being ordered. I had embarrassing momemts last night to give treat to my guests from Ireland with such a less filling pizza. They said that it just like we are eating pizza base.

Pizza was good, But worst service you can expect and they served raw chicken in chicken chips which is later compensated by changing another piece

Rajas Ingleby Road! Absolutely vile, I got a chicken and chips and I was absolutely disgusted!!!! Firstly when I opened the box it had a strong odour which put me off straight away! Then I noticed that the chips were old and had just been reheated, once I turned the chicken I saw that it was full of small hairs!!! Guys just avoid this place and don’t waste your money!

I can honestly say that this is the best rajas as I realised that the taste was as it was in the 90s. U don't get food like this no more from any other rajas that are opened. I can confirm this is the real old school taste.

Perfectly reasonable pizza. No complaint after 2 visits. I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews. Staff speak good English and are friendly and polite. Pizza is fine. We were given free chips on both visits. There are booths and chairs with tables if you would prefer to eat at the establishment instead of taking your order to go.

Chips for 1.50 really good definitely enough for 3 people it's crazy Pizza not so good taste the same which hurts best pizza in England hands down is trinty pizza Huddersfield I promise asian special 1 mouth dripping and meat feast anyways there chips 9/10 donner kebab 3/10 bead taste like a thin special recipe cheesy pancake yuck it ain't pancake day you know loool pizza hell you've know never again very plain and bland no flavour on all different pizzas only thing what tastebuds pick up was sweet corn that's heart breaking.. Overall waste of money rather donate then spend on a dreadful takeaway

Ordered a chicken kebab when recieved not only was it the worst kebab I have ever had did not ever come with any salad will not be going there again stay well clear

if this place is not a front for something else I will be amazed. I tried the Halifax road branch what a horrible experience. I feel really angry because it's not cheap and if they have the Asian collection boys in they ignore you. Surely the police are on to this

Pink undercooked chicken dry pizzas soggy chips watered down chili sauce. As as cheap and crooked and it can get. Avoid

The worst takeaway pizza I have ever had. Me and my 4 colleagues had the misfortune to order pizzas from this place as we were working a night shift. The dough on the pizza was raw, mushy and not cooked properly and therefore difficult to digest, also the pizzas are completely tasteless and it was like eating warm soft cardboard. We now have either stomach upset, indigestion or heart burn Avoid this place like the plague

Chicken and chips is available in thigh and leg which is not good enough but price reflects the quality. Cheap cheeseburger and samosa are a treat, pizzas are average overall not bad if your hungray and want a quick snack.

yes I was very nice when it was newely opend.but now it is on the worst place in bradford.no hygiene at all.totaly off chicken.totaly non hygienic food.dirty place from takeaway side.food can spoli your health. no star. raja on Ingleby road.

Wanted a quick lunch for 2 getting a £2 chicken pieces and £2.50 chicken wrap meal deal. Large portion of chips and good selection of canned drinks - excellent value compared to somewhere like subway or kfc!

Food is quite good at times and is a quick belly filler. Value is really good for what you get. Staff don't know much customer service but do ok

he visitado este nuevo Raja es un par de veces, y cada vez que la comida ha sido excelente. es un restaurante de reciente construcción, así que todo está muy limpio y bien presentado, la barra está más que se encuentran en McDonalds o un lugar como que comparado con una típica comida para llevar, y hay asientos y mesas, así como instalaciones de aseo, también como un establecimiento tipo McDonalds. El donner carne y patatas fritas son deliciosos y bien presentados con ensalada y servido en una gran porción por tan sólo 3,45 - ganga! También tienen un menú más extenso de las ramas de otro Raja, incluyendo 20 pulgadas pizzas (que comienzan a las 7.50 cada una), envolturas, hamburguesas y curiosamente un Peri Peri pollo hamburguesa que no he visto en otros lugares. Sin duda, uno de los mejores platos de comida degustación que he tenido en Bradford, servido en una habitación limpia y luminosa ubicación por personal amigable a un precio estupendo. Claramente no es un lugar de clase alta que va en una fecha pero que no es la intención - es rápida, sabrosa y buena relación calidad-precio. Recomendado.
