Raj Tandoori in Crawley

This was a takeaway delivered to us. Food was crap worst curry I’ve ever had. And to top it off the salad sent out with the order had insects in it. Wast of money very disappointing avoid

This was the first time ordering from The Raj, and it won't be the last. The food was excellent and hot, plus it was delivered on time. I personally had the Chicken Razalla and Pilou rice, and I must say it was the best Indian dish I have had for a long time, full of flavour and not too hot and I can thoroughly recommend it. My partner had the Chicken Tikka Mosalla which is the only Indian dish she will eat unfortunately, but she thoroughly enjoyed it. I thoroughly recommend The Raj Tandoori.

No mint sauces, should have been 3; really disappointing as it makes the meal.

Everything was ok. Not our usual place, thought we’d give it a try. Sag Paneer was pretty good.

was enjoying my food when I bit into and swallowed something so spicy it had me throwing up, swollen mouth and in tears. such a shame before a treat turned into a disaster. I like spicy food but this was a different planet. my tongue is still swollen.

Burger and fries was ok. The Ada lamb dish I had was so salty it was inedible. I went to the restaurant 5 mins before the collection time and had to sit and wait over 20 mins

Food was absolutely amazing as always, wrong rice was delivered but not even worth complaining over the quality of everything else!

Honestly the smallest portions ever. £7 for stag paneer and there were 6 pieces of paneer. No more than 6 small pieces of chicken in each curry dish either. Have ordered multiple times before. £38 without delivery charges and barely enough for 2 people. Shame as have always rated highly.

Paneer tikka masala was nice but the vegetable dopiaza didn't taste of anything. Not much sauce and lots of oil. Mushroom rice and naan was good. Shame about the dopiaza.

Meat curry was tastless and was very watery and naan bread was doughy

I have ordered now for the second time and it has been amazing. The quality has been 10/10 both times and I will be ordering again. I always check reviews before ordering and I can give an honest review the quality, delivery time and service has been excellent on both occasions. Very rude person who answered phone when got my order wrong will never use raj tandoori again. Telling me what my options are when they cannot provide my order.

Only very small complaint, in that the naan bread was cold. Every thing else spot on

Have been going here for years and the food is always lovely, reasonably priced, good gluten free and lactose free options, friendly service. Has always been safe for me to eat there as a coeliac. Would be great if they could get some gluten free poppadoms! 😊
