Food was delicious. This was my second order

Lovely food but they forgot to deliver the naan breads

Food was very nice and hot lots of flavour we will be ordering again all enjoyed they dinner

The food is good quality, and service is faultless. I have been 3 times with family 6 of us and twice with friends .It is a shame that more people are not using this Indian restaurant. Prices are value for money. Plus, it is spotless. It is much better than other local places . No achohol . But you can bring your own bottle. I would 100% recommend.

This was my 4th takeaway from the Raj. Everyone has been fresh and full of flavour. This recent one last night 20/08/24 was excellent and absolutely delicious. The only tiny complaint is not a lot of chicken in their dishes. But gorgeous flavours. Chicken madras and chicken korma. Sag paneer, Dahl, a new kind of potato chip type dish with spices and veg.. and chapati and poppodoms. Yummy. Salad and dips. Love this place for Indian food.

Food was amazing but delivery was 45 mins late! In total it took an hour an 45 mins, I asked for a partial refund due to this but they refused

Took 2 hours 35 to arrive. Received a call to say it will be late and would be around 12 more minutes. Then got an out for delivery notification. my diabetic husband then took his insulin but the food arrived almost an hour after this, causing his blood sugars to drop too low. Called the restaurant only to be told nonsense about the whereabouts of the food. When arrived, sauce had leaked out and caused a mess.

Disgusting food, threw all in the bin as meat and fish mixed in a middle of grease. Chicken madras came pink after first bite. Called up restaurant and horrific CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Really unhappy with the portion sizes, we have eaten at Raj before in the restaurant and the portions are much larger but for the same price. Only a few spoonfuls for the main dishes we ordered that cost £15+ and barely any prawns. Also the food lacked flavour in general, barely any spice or depth. Only got given one mint sauce for an order of £60+ very stingy - wouldn’t order again.

Normally highly recommend but was very dry today. Poppadums were borderline stale and onion bhajis were so hard they could probably break a window.

This is the 3rd delivery we have had from the Raj. The food is always hot, fresh and very tasty. No fatty oils or o er spiced. Just perfect for us. We love their food and portions and flavours. Thank you,

We have been ordering a take away from Raj for the last 2 years & can honestly say we have never had a bad meal or bad customer service. They have been very generous and definitely value their customers. Hopefully we can continue to eat with them for years to come!

I visited this Indian restaurant hoping to enjoy some authentic Indian cuisine, but I was disappointed by the food. The Panner main curry was very sweet and lacked any spice or flavor. The Dal thadka was ok. The only good thing was the plain rice and tandoori roti which was soft and fresh. However, the restaurant had very few vegetarian options, I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for vegetarian Indian meal.

Our favourite Indian deliveries were closed, so thought we would try The Raj. Delivered within the hour but driver wasn’t the friendliest. All the food was cold and very bland. Only flavour was the Korma because it tasted like garlic. Anywhere else you get a bonus poppadum and a small pot of salad with the tikka starter. Not here, won’t be ordering again!

Our local business group chose the Raj for our Christamas do as it was highly recommended. The food and the atmosphere was great. We tried various dishes on the menu, and everyone was happy. The Epping Forest Business Group feel that it is important to support local businesses, and the high standard of the Raj made the evening very special.

Another delicious meal at the Raj!! No more words needed. Take away is also delicious & always piping hot!

The restaurant thought they were funny putting wasabi peas and half a ton of chilli flakes in my vegetable Samaosa’s because it’s halloween night! I guess that must’ve been a halloween ‘trick’! This is true because I pulled apart one of the samaosas and got pictures to find out why they were so unbelievably hot and uncovered the wasabi peas and flakes. Not funny though when you have young children. I will NEVER order off of these again ever! Ordered MILD korma which was also super spicy, the restaurant could see by ordering MILD I cannot tolerate spice! Nasty Halloween trick.

My order was over 1 hour late. We called on 4 occasions each time being told it was on its way. It’s clear the order was forgotten about. We didn’t receive an apology.

The food was bland no flavour only good thing was peshwari naan even that is packed with coconut no nice food smelt old and wasn’t edible stunk the next day save your money

Ordered take away. The spicy chips were raw in the middle and inedible. 5 small pieces of chicken in the Naga special, peppers filled the carton.Bombay aloo watery overcooked and tasteless. Byriani was fine but veg curry tasteless. Onion Bhaji soft and mushy. Incredibly disappointing

Great Meal! Despite other reviews the poppadoms were brilliant. Meal on the whole was fantastic service included. Do not serve alcohol but can bring your own. Would come again!

I always order my Indian takeaways from this place but I had the pleasure of eating in recently. It was up to its usual standard and the service provided by the guys in there was great.

I have been using this restaurant for my last few orders and I’m not disappointed. This is not my local Indian restaurant but wouldn’t buy from anywhere else anymore. I had the tikka Balti today, really tasty. Rest of the family’s meal went down well none drowning in grease. Very happy with today’s food

Ordered an hour and half before delivery time of 6pm food arrived 10 minutes late. Food was warm not hot, was tasty however there was no salad with the onion bharji, and the portion size was small I counted just 6 small pieces of chicken in my chicken tikka masala it was more sauce than anything else. Was a little disappointed but it was tasty.

Cancelled the order within seconds and still took the money over £50 called them , got fobbed off rude manager

We have been going to the Raj in Epping since 2000- quality of the food and service has been consistently excellent- food is delicious- the Tandoori Salmon was so fresh, not frozen, the Cashewnut chicken really fragrant and vibrant! If you want super food this is the place to go to!

Have had good food from this place in the past however have had terrible experience with delivery. I've waited 2 hours for an order only to be told it won't be delivered. When trying to get a refund for the order I've been refused. Such a terrible customer experience has put me off ordering from this restaurant again.

Went for the Sunday buffet. Lovely food and good portions sizes and lovely service. Would go back. Easy to park in Tesco.
