Ordered from Uber eats arrived late the food was hot but looked microwaves all the chips were dried up no salt or vinegar even tho I requested extra scampi was burnt, fish was greasy and had a portion of chips missing phoned to ask if we could get a replacement to be met with the manager snatching the phone off his female assistant to abruptly tell my partner that it isn't his problem and to get in contact with Uber very bad customer service and inedible food

So large chips good BUT XL box of meat only was a size of large so don’t bother with XL just get a large some size spoke to person behind counter he said his boss said this is the size he should give everybody I informed I will bring a XL kebab to your shop and take a look 😡plus HAZARD😳 the seats have Staples sticking out told them a month ago nothing done

We had this for dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprise at how nice it was , they offer lots of different meals . There lamb shish was delicious and would definitely recommend was full of flavour and succulent . My partner has the kofte and he said it was lovely very juicy and was again full of flavour. My son had Saveloys as he really enjoyed them … would definitely recommend and will definitely be back .

I usually get a kebab from station road, but had some shopping to do so tried this place. Lovely lamb meat, lots of fresh salad. Kebab man was friendly and the place was spotless. My only sort of very slight criticism was the components all came separately, lamb in one box, salad in another and the pitta in it's own bag. I prefer my kebabs to be put together and then wrapped up so it all sort of smooshes together in a nice kebaby mess. Food was beautiful, lamb cooked and seasoned to perfection. Really pleased I tried somewhere different.

Their kebabs are really nice & so is their cod/sausage & chips. Would highly recommend. Were open all through the pandemic which was bliss. Can park right outside, which is an added bonus.

Have eaten from here on plenty of occasions since moving to Rainham in 2016 and have loved it every time. Can’t recommend enough. The Special is our favourite but everything else we’ve tried has been marvellous as well.

In our opinion this is still the best kebab shop in Rainham. The kebabs are always tasty with good portions. The chips they serve are so much better than the frozen fries that you get in most takeaways. Unfortunately the cod we had on this visit was very thin (not chunky) so there was too much batter to fish.

Quite simply WOW , just moved to rainham.... on a search for a good kebab shop. This place didn’t disappoint. Shish was best I’ve had in a long time. Friendly staff and despite being busy , all kept calm and professional.

Went in tonight for a portion of chips and when I got them outside they were so cold I had to throw them away no time to wait for more or go back in to mention as whole purpose of just chips was the rush I was in!!they were beyond cold NO WAY should anywhere serve cold food to a paying customer and when I say COLD I mean ready for the bin cold !best avoided

Always a friendly, welcoming visit to my favourite fish & chips shop in Rainham. The large haddock is more than plentiful, very tasty & extremely fresh. The fish & chips are always freshly cooked to order. Erkan is always smiling with a very cheerful outlook. By far the best chippy.

We couldn't fault Rainham Mark in our last order! It was for over 20 people with various different items chosen, which can be difficult for most takeaways to manage, let alone get right. Rainham Mark had it all ready within half an hour, didn't miss one item from the order and their customer service was amazing. Truly couldn't fault them. Will be returning here next time the group wants fish and chips or kebabs certainly!

I used to use Wigmore fish bar until I discovered this place. Fish is cooked to order meaning it’s super hot and fresh. Very well priced and very polite service from the guys here. The kebab meat is tasty and the chips are fresh too. Try this place. You will not be disappointed.

My favourite chippy, it is rare to find one that can provide both great cod as well as great chips, large size portions as well. You can phone your order in to avoid the Q

Ordered a Large Cod and Medium Chips here and got a very dry SMALL chips and a Small Cod with lots of Batter. I have given up trying to find a decent fish and chip shop in Gillingham that consistently serves a decent portion of chips and a large cod that doesn't consist mainly of batter to disguise the fact you are being served a small thin cod.When I first used Rainham Mark Fish & Kebab I was happy with what I was given but on the last few occasions I have been served below average Fish and chips, when will chip shop owners ever going to learn how to consistently cook a decent portion of chips and sell a Large Cod not a herring disguised as a large cod in lots of batter. The best cod and chips I have eaten recently came from Tesco,two thick bread crumb covered or battered cod found near the fresh fish and tripple cooked chips and taste a hundred times better and cheaper than the cod and chips served at Rainham Mark Fish and most chip shops in Gillingham and Rainham.

First visit today. Service could not have been friendlier. Had a range of kebabs and traditional English chip shop food. All of it was excellent, kebabs cooked to order and my kids are fussy and the variety of things added / removed from the standard order were all delivered. Kids are already asking when we can go again.

We went to this takeaway for the first time last night, would definitely be returning. Great food and the staff were so friendly.

Having tried most of the kebab shops in Rainham this still remains our default point of call. We have now tried many different dishes from the menu and this time had a Doner wrap and cod & chips. The Doner wrap was a very generous size. The cod was nice and as always the chips were excellent. We will continue to return.

This is my favorite takeaway, great tasting kebabs. Now and then they seem to serve reheated chips which taste terrible and sometimes their fish is soggy.When they get it right they can't be beaten

Ordered food from here and I think it will be my last. Soggy fish, chips not cooked enough so all a bit worrying.

Having again tried most of the other Kebab shops in Rainham that are nearer to where we live and been disappointed with continually being served soggy chips, soggy pitta and under / over cooked kebab we returned to Rainham Mark. Once again everything that we ordered was excellent.

This is our go to take away. The kebabs cooked over charcoal served with tasty fresh salads are amazing. Happy to recommend this clean, friendly family run takeaway.

We went here and picked up a lazy Sunday dinner. Service nice and friendly. Food freshly cooked and tasted good too. They treated my son very nice and demonstrated a great level of child friendliness. Customer care starts early....

I've lived in Rainham for 25 years and have tried a number of chippies over this time. This place is not the nearest to any of the houses I have lived in, but I keep on going back - it is a mile and a half away from my present home. Even though it has changed hands a couple of times over the years, the quality remains the same; the chips are golden and crisp, as is the batter and not at all greasy. The staff are always friendly and helpful and take telephone orders so that you can call in, pick up and go. Once I was held up in unexpected traffic and they cooked me a fresh portion of fish as my original piece had sat under the lamps for too long. I call that good service.The latest incarnation is as a kebab shop too, I have only tried these once, but was not disappointed, although I do have a very good kebab shop quite nearby, to which I have a degree of loyalty - but for traditional fish and chips - I have yet to have better!

We get fish and chips takeaway quite often from here. The guys are very friendly and chatty, and even give the kids a lollipop. It doesn't really look like a chippy from the outside, more of a kebab shop, but they can certainly cook fish and chips. Cod bites are excellent and the chips are not greasy. Everything is well cooked. Highly recommended, keep up the good work.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is always of a high standard it's the only one I eat from in this area.The place just looks and feels clean you feel comfortable eating from there.

We went here for fish and chips to take to a friends. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was and the clean uniforms the men were wearing. Although we hadn't been there before I had no worries about the food we has ordered because there was a stream of customers coming through the door. The food was absolutely gorgeous and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The fish was probably the best I have ever had Well done.

Quickly popped into shop tonight, as I had 6 friends coming round to dinner and didn't want to cook. As always the food was spot on.By the time I had gone to Tesco's and back for a few beers, my order was done.All 6 of us had a varied and mixed choice of food including freshly cooked fish including Cod and Plaice to Chicken and Doner Kebabs and a Beef Burger.All the food was hot and tasty. The Salad was fresh and the chips amazing. I use this place at least once a week if not more and have never had any problems with the food or the staff. This has just got to be one of the best takeaway's in Medway.

Absolutely 5 star. We always use rainham mark and this review is over due.To start the staff are very friendly, approachable and also very personable, they take the time to get to know their customers and their service is very professional and this shows. The food is quality and always cooked to a high standard. We have never had a faulty meal from them before but are confident that if there was a problem they would resolve it and take on board customer feed back.

Best fish and chip shop in medway with fantastic kebabs and friendly service! I used to go to crispins until I found this one and I have also converted my family to them! Really friendly people who remember you which adds that extra personal touch! Would highly recommend it!

When you go into the kebab shop it smells of a restaurant on holiday. the staff are friendly and the chicken kebabs are the best with gorgeous chips too. my favourite takeaway

Rainham fish and kebab literally saved my life. I was ready to end it all, an old lady ignored me when i said "Hi!", a young family avoided my path. Then, across the road, through the fog in my mind, i saw what i thought to be an apparition, a lighthouse through the mist, I saw... I saw HOPE. I stumbled across the road and flirted with the oncoming traffic, and eventually, eventually I made it. The doors were wide open and I practically skipped through the threshold the warm air was like a blanket and i felt as if I were in some sort of haven, a utopia perhaps. I chose my meal (for an incredibly cheap price) and wolfed it down not leaving any crispy crumb to spare. I walked out of those doors on top of the world, larger than life. I felt refuelled, ready to seize the day. I looked down the street and ran, I was never looking back anymore!

Always the best food. There is a variety of choices including all the regular food from a fish and chip bar plus kebabs. Never has there been a bad experience from here. The staff are very welcoming and always gracious. The food is always fresh and the prices are really reasonable. You can even telephone your order to collect later. I never go anywhere else.

I always use this take away, it does the best and tastiest food, always fresh and cooked the way you like it, staff are amazing so friendly I recommend this place over every where else.

My partner and I come and treat ourselves once a month to a kebab from here. Always welcomed with a friendly service. Kebabs are lovely. Salad is always fresh. I have never once felt ill or had any type of tummy upset from here unlike other local takeaways. Very clean and I would highly recommend to all :)

It is a problem to park as there are only 4 spaces out front but I have found the consistency of the fish excellent and is cooked to order so be prepared to wait. The chips although enormous are usually good but once or twice not so which I put down to the season of the potatoes. For some reason Rainham(Kent) has half a dozen chip shops but this is the best of the bunch.The staff are always dressed smartly and also polite so you don't mind waiting

The takeaway chippie in Rainham Mark has gone off the boil. The fish is good quality, but the chips.... every time we buy there it seems they have been reheated. Not very pleasant for the taste buds, unfortunately.

Over the years we have tried most of the kebab shops in Rainham but always end up going back to this one. In our opinion they consistently offer the best kebabs and good chip shop style chips. They also make their own garlic sauce which is very nice and the salad is always fresh. The staff are friendly and efficient and on the rare occasions when a mistake has been made they have rectified it with the minimum of fuss.
