Rainbow Tree in Blaby

A fantastic local cafe where you are made to feel welcome. The drinks were first rate. There is a small outside sheltered seating area where dogs are allowed. Will definitely visit again when in the area 😍

Just popped in after walking my dog, although dogs aren't allowed inside, there is area you can sit outside. Just had had coffee and cake which was very nice. Noticed others having breakfast cobs which looked delicious so will try next time. Service was excellent and extremely friendly. Recommend and will come again.

Lovely little friendly cafe with nice coffee. Had lunch which was reasonably priced and tasty. Lots of other tasty treats.

Service dropped one star because it's so busy because it's sooooo good. I visit Whetstone about once a month and this is my go to lunch spot, absolutely fantastic. Will keep going back. Recommend the sausage, hash brown and cheese cob. 😋

Went in Friday for a cheese salad cob and had some cheese straws.cob was a very small white bap with 1 slice of cheese and a very small amount of salad .very poor quantity and I also had the 2 remaining cheese straws and they were awful.like chewing cardboard with dryed up cheese . Very poor I wouldn't return .the staff were friendly enough

Fantastic staff and food . My daughters and their friend recently went in and had enough for only 1 drink and staff went above and beyond for them so they all had a drink . First time they've been on their own and we're so happy when they came back . Can't thank them enough. Always go that extra mile for you . Lovely service . Lovely staff .

Most marvellous cappuccino in the county

Abysmal £5 for a cob the size of your fist and with sausages as hard as rock

2 large breakfast and coffees £22 so you’d expect quality, the sausage was rank not good quality the eggs not free range the toast couldn’t even have butter …. The answer was we don’t do butter ! Poor quality ingredients and will never return. My advice if you are charging a decent amount provide decent ingredients. The coffee was good that’s all !

I work close by and I got to the rainbow tree for lunch sometimes. The customer service is amazing and the food is amazing. My go-to order is the Tuna and cheese panini with a rocky road shake. Highly recommend. The price is good for the quality of the food as the food is not only delicious but also filling. They also do collections, takeaway and dine-in so it’s very helpful and works around schedules well. The wait time for you food isn’t very long as well. Highly recommend The Rainbow Tree is you live close by!

The Rainbow Tree is a wonderful quirky cafe where the food is excellent, the customer service is friendly and professional and the atmosphere ubber relaxing. There is plenty to see within as the owners have adapted the American diner theme with their own spin using personal touches of their own adventures. There is also plenty of parking and you can order sandwhiches to go. You get a virtual hug from the coziness of this cafe with a fab cuppa! What's not to love! 😜

Quirky little cafe, great food and very friendly staff

I highly recommend the Rainbow Tree to everyone, the coffee is amazing & they are all so friendly. The food is great, the cakes are great, all the drinks are great and the staff are great! They are more than happy to adapt food to suit my limited diet too. I will always grab my breakfast/lunch & coffee here, there is always plenty of choice and lots of fresh juices etc. too. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

The rainbow tree is a great local cafe, the team fo above and beyond. Tasty food, great drinks, they support all sorts of dietary requirements.

First visit in a long time because of lock down . Nothing changed still great food and friendly staff. Worth a drop in if in Whetstone and they do a lot of take away choices ..

We visit regularly. Our favourites are Pork and apple sauce cobs, Rice bowls and waffles. The drizzle of chocolate on the Fruity waffle sets it apart from waffles at other cafes! Friendly staff make you feel very welcome.Good value too!

I regularly come to this cafe for my morning coffees. My mum and I decided to have brunch here one morning. The food was so amazing! I am transitioning to becoming a vegan, so I love to try vegan dishes. The vegan special was the best I've ever had, and the presentation was spot on! The tomatos were so tasty and were prepared fresh that morning. I absolutely love this little cafe and cannot believe it's just down the road from me. I am very happy they do vegan alternatives. The oat milk cappuccino is very favourite. I've had a salad box from here also, and the food is so fresh. The staff are so welcoming and cannot do enough to help. The cakes and pastries are beautiful. The decor is very quirky and you instantly feel at home. There is also little tables outside, which I cannot wait to use in the Summer! This really is a hidden gem!

Came here on a whim as have been several times before for their breakfasts. Loads of choice to suit all appetites and great value for money. A small locally run cafe with enough seating area. also serve loads of variety for sandwiches to eat in or takeaway. I always come here when i fancy a cooked breakfast and on rare occasions collect a sandwich for my lunch at work (and a slice of cake) The food is always fresh and their coffees are heaven. Staff are friendly and can accommodate all dietary requirements from what i’ve seen. Don’t pass them by go in and see for yourself.

My daughter & I were visiting the florist next door and decided on a whim to call in for lunch. Excellent decision! What a huge choice. We had chicken and bacon paninis, delicious- real bacon, mmmmm! Lovely atmosphere and friendly, smiley staff.

I work near to the rainbow tree, and I can honestly say I am a very regular visitor. The food is lovely and reasonably priced. The sandwiches are freshly made and they have a wide variety. I personally recommend the roast pork and gravy baguettes! And no lunch is complete without a bit of cake! The cake here is also freshly made each day and is scrumptious! I have tried them all and have not had a bad one. Highly recommended to all.

Whenever we are working in Whetstone Leicester we always visit The Rainbow Tree, either for breakfast or lunch or a sandwich. You are always greeted with friendly staff, with a varied menu it is a real treat and Claire makes a great breakfast with a choice of a full English to poached eggs or omelettes. Always looking forward to going back. They also have a great choice of breads, highly recommended.
