I visited the railway pub on Satur whilst we were waiting for the Chinese,what a fantastic little pub the young lady behind the bar was the most polite and pleasant person I've ever come across,highly recommended this place,made to feel very welcome if I lived nearby this would be my local...10 out of 10

Been here twice now with a large group of lads on a random weekday in the last few months. Nice staff, warm and welcoming pub! Even better that there's a Chinese in the same place. Where you can eat and have a pint :)

Visited the Railway Inn Ancaster on a Friday evening whilst staying at Woodland Waters caravan park which is an easy walk away. The pub is quite unique in that it combines a traditional olde worlde British pub complete with beer garden, lounge area and bar, serving a range of craft ales, whilst in the adjacent kitchen an amazing Chinese restaurant/ takeaway produces excellent, high quality meals serving the pub and local community. I was in a party of seven and we ordered directly at the kitchen. Food soon started to arrive and just kept coming all well cooked, hot and beautifully presented. At the end of the meal only empty plates and happy people were left. This was one of those rare occasions when we were so pleased with the quality of the food and service received we thought it was necessary to ask to see and thank personally the chef who cooked our meal. This was a memorable evening and we look forward to returning to the Railway Inn.

Young ladie behind the bar was friendly, polite and made ys feel welcome. Garden a little tired inside clean and tidy. We will be back

Friendly people, great beer, I love the Chinese food available from Luckys which is attached to the pub! Great breakfasts at Shanties shack, stop off for a bacon butty sometimes.

Its a pub with a chinese takeaway built in.. you can order a takaway and sneak to the pub.. absolute genius.👍

Life and soul of the village. Play darts or pool. Sit outside in the garden and watch the children. Real family orientated. Chinese eat in or takeaway which is excellent. Friendly and helpful bar staff.
