RAF Lakenheath - Great Little Pizza Place in Forest Heath

Answers phone calls every other time I’d get food here. Probably due to them actively going up to the phone and deny calls as I’ve seen. Kind of makes it hard to order ahead of time.

They do not answer the phone. Very frustrating that we’ve tried multiple times to get their subs but I’ve never been able to get through over the phone, and then waste our time showing up for them to be out of bread or have a 2+ hour wait.

Great pizza and cheesy sticks. I really liked their customer service.

On base, no off base purchasing

Updated Review Jan 23 2024 So much better through the years. I do miss their California sub. But the potato wedges and pizzas have all gotten so much better. And we love the BBQ chicken pizza! April 2021: Why is everything raw? The cheese pizza and the Supreme had nice toppings but the dough was so raw it was still dough, not crust. The cookie is so raw we are sticking it back in the oven. And the breadstick is pretty burnt on the bottom. We liked the cinnamon sticks and the flavors. And we are going to give them one more try. But geez. Too undercooked for safe consumption at this time.

Decent spot on base if your craving a pizza. Sometimes they may get your order wrong but they are nice and will get it sorted

The pizzas they make here are delicious and the brownie with ice cream is huge. Very good quality food, good prices, clean place. You can eat in the place or take out right after work on your way out.

As the name implies, it's a great little pizza place with high-quality delicious pizzas. Be prepared to pay for that, though; the food is not cheap. They do offer gluten-free options and their cheesy garlic bread is fantastic.

Its ok. Nothing special but not terrible. Service was polite, and pizza was made on time. However, your better off ordering in person and waiting because it's a miracle if they ever answer their phone.

Customer service and restaurant decorations are the only flaws. Food is great!

We occasionally get takeaway or delivery and have eaten in a few times. Not staffed to handle dinner rush, so service is slow during peak times. Pizza is usually pretty good though and I like the variety of the Pizza of the Month. Water/soda are overpriced for eating in at an on-base establishment.

Order from here if you want bland, dry, burnt, and overpriced food. Order from here if you want to deal with a 30 year old UK cashier that has a bad attitude and a possible addict. Order from here if you want to be told that there are no more chicken wings that you ordered over the phone 20 minutes ago. I gave this place a chance even though I seen all of the negative reviews. I now believe all of the negative encounters. Please trust me, do not waste your time or money on this disgusting place. The real concern is why are they still open?

Found a worm in my salad. Pizza was always really good bu that one bad experience turned me off from returning

Not the fastest, but a great option for affordable pizza on base. We went here almost every Friday for years.

Food is good but the service is terrible. They never answer the phone, always have an attitude, and they always randomly close without updating their hours on their site.

No idea why this place has bad reviews, yeh there was a tiny wait but the pizza is really good pastry is better than most actually similar to proper Sicilian pizzeria puffy crispy and layered very good the cheese and sauce is amazing, pepperoni is thick and meaty and mushrooms perfect. 👍👍

I enjoy their pizza, but in the middle of eating my second slice, there was a hair in it. Kinda ruins your appetite after that. That coupled with the cruddy attitude you get from the employees on occasion tends to put a bad taste in your mouth.

Poor managment. Closed, but still able to order and pay for food online.

It's cheap, but due to how bad the pizza tastes, I wouldn't say the price is justified. The alfredo sauce tasted bad and the crust like a saltine cracker.

Pizza is delicious, but it is hard to get through the line to order pizza by phone, hours online do not reflect was is advertised on the door or in the restaurant and delivery isn't currently possible at the moment

Decent overall… although this is the pepperoni… hard to complain when they loaded it up with extra meat, but not ideal for the kids that want just pepperoni. 4 out of 5 for effort. Kids can pick :)

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service! Ordered their special pizza of the month and when we got home and opened up all the pizzas we ordered, the special was the wrong pizza. When I called to tell them we got the wrong pizza and we live 40 minutes away, the manager tried to tell me, one it was the correct pizza and two she would refund the difference of the price of the special pizza to a single topping pizza since we were going to still be eating the pizza instead of driving it back to get a new one. I am still absolutely flabbergasted that a company would argue about a product that was wrong and two expect a customer to drive back 40 minutes instead of refunding the pizza they messed up.

I've had pizza all over the world and this is some of the most bland and dry pizza I've ever eaten. They have horrible hours and only deliver when they feel like it. We call from work to order on Fridays and they intentionally don't answer our call so they don't have to take a large order. The quality of the pizza and ingredients are very cheap and the only one I've found that doesn't taste like dry cardboard is the bbq chicken pizza but it is pricy, I think around 16 or 17 dollars. It's unfortunate that the only other pizza choice on base is pizza hut which is miles better than this pizza (and that says alot.) If you have the opportunity venture 5 minutes off of base to Brandon and go to mondragone or Jean Paul's pizzaera for actual good pizza and it's fairly priced. If I could give this zero stars I would, as its actually kind of impressive to make a pizza so bad I eat it only out of hunger and the fact someone buys it for us on Fridays. I would never pay for this, and I recommend you don't either.

Probably the best pizza around the area. Unfortunately, that isn't saying much. They are usually pretty busy as well do expect to wait a while.

That was the worst calzone I had. It is folded over pizza dough with about a pound of mozzarella cheese and sauce. No ricotta. They cover it with mozzarella to hide that fact it is literally folded over pizza dough.

Honestly, love their pizza. It is very tasty. They also deliver on base.
