Best cafe in town bar none, lots of builders use this cafe so you know it’s good. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I needed lunch and chose this cafe fairly randomly based on location - it was spot-on, no pretensions, good food served quickly by pleasant staff; I thoroughly enjoyed my cheese omelette and cup of tea.

Coffee was undrinkable; the lady serving was swearing all the time. Ordered food from the menu so should’ve been same price - but wasn’t when I paid. I asked about this just to check and she was extremely unhappy. A customer asked the lady behind the counter… “Did you spit in my dinner “?

Good value and a proper nice breakfast.

Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic breakfast here at the weekend. Great quality food, eggs perfect, same with bacon, good sausages, and all the extras like hash browns, black pudding etc spot on. Can't wait to return, great value as well at £17 for both we were stuffed!

£6 for 2 sausages ,2 bacon beans 2 eggs 2 toast and a mug of tea this is your I guess average greasy spoon the food is good although I'm sure the sausages are not korkers anymore which is a shame as they tasted a bit cheap the service is friendly as always if your expecting the Ritz this is not for you if you want a good meal at a reasonable price with friendly service come here .

Fantastic breakfast at a reasonable price. My wife doesn't eat eggs so was allowed to swap stuff out. Some places don't let you do this. Service was very quick and the staff were very friendly. We will come back here

This is a proper cafe, no frills, just proper food. The staff are very friendly and it's clean and tidy. Can't fault it for a breakfast or quick good value lunch. They do a fantastic liver stew some days, such a treat, I love this place!

Probably best cafe in town, all food cooked fresh to order, can be small wait at busy times but worth it for fresh hot food. Quality ingredients also. And only £5.50 for large breakfast!

I love this place. Go here once a month on payday as mine and my partners treat... never have had a bad meal or bad service. Always smiling faces and hot fresh food!
