Awful manager. Pub itself is fine but, the manager is just terrible. Avoid. Very hostile towards customers and staff.

Recommended by our friends,so we caught the bus to Stourbridge bus station, and walked across town to Enville street, following it towards Wollaston, the Queens is on the left. Enville street is an ale route ,several pubs on the way to the top of Wollaston. This pub is well presented, out side a large screen tv,in a heated pavillion, plus an elaborate smokers saloon, then inside a long bar with the most hand pumps we have seen with real ales,4 regulars and the others guest ales. The prices were all clearly displayed on a large display above the bar,and very reasonable too. Seating was to a high standard,in a long room, clean toilets ,friendly staff. We visited at 9.00pm on a Saturday night to find it fairly quiet, suprising really as it is spot on. 3 beers tested and all in good condition,we will return.

If you are in the Wordsley area and fancy sampling a few ales this place is ideal, plus the Bathams is just a few yard away you really can’t go wrong.

I'm told that this place used to have a reputation however it is now owned by black country ales. They have made this place look nice and also have a large selection of ales. 3 standard ones and 7 different ones. Definitely worth a visit

This is a roomy spacious pub with a friendly landlady & great real ales, 10 of them to be exact on my visit. Food is served Wed – Sat 12pm – 3pm, then 5.30pm – 8.30pm. Sun 12pm – 4pm. No food served Mon or Tue. A simple £2, £4, £6, £8 menu with a few platters at £10, desserts priced at £3, kids menu at £4, Sunday roast at £6. Tea & coffee at £1.50. All day breakfasts £4, also sausage & mash. £8 for fish & chips, scampi or ribs. £6 for curries & burgers. Car parking at back of pub, for about 10 cars only. Buses stop nearby at front of pub. Unfortunately the music was very off putting & made you want to leave the pub as soon as you sat down, which wasn’t good as would have happily have stayed longer drinking more if I could have relaxed better. Dart board is to right hand side of bar. 2 ladies toilets at back of pub. Quiz on a Wed. Small beer garden at back of pub. Games machines in pub too.

Ordered Loaded Cheesy Chicken Fries. As you can see not a single piece of chicken in sight just cut up turkey rashers. The chips were half uncooked the other half over cooked. Hardly any melted cheese. Waste of time that was at £5.95. Onto the Doner Kebab In Naan with no salad. Yes I asked for no salad. Also as you can see that is not a naan, that is in fact a wrap. The meat was well undercooked and at £8.25 absolutely shocking. Worst take away nothing was correct or cooked properly only thing they got right was can of vimto.

If the food arrives hot, it’s really nice. Unfortunately, they have a habit of giving a driver half a dozen stops, so you’re quite likely to get it cold. If that’s the case, don’t bother calling the shop as they will just argue with you. Usually very rude and unhelpful.
