Great Wall in Dudley

Few years ago this place was vile recently started ordering from here again giving it another try an it's honestly realy good, iv had food from every Chinese takeaway in coseley, gornal and dudley an this is my favorite at the moment, the chicken curry is beautiful chicken is so soft an curry sauce is of a nice consistency an flavour not too spicy (I orderd without onions) salt an chilli prawns are seriously good, big chunky king prawns in a light tempura batter an their salt an chilli has a nice flavour to it I will be ordering from here again

Have used this chinese for many years. on another level to Others i have experienced, food always ready when I arrive never have to wait long to collect, fresh Hot and full of flavour ! Would highly recommend.

I've been with this Chinese takeaway since I was a little girl, I'm 33 now. They have never disappointed me or my family. Portions are perfect, perfectly cooked and super tasty. I cannot say enough about them. I've tried other Chinese in the area and they are extremely poor in contrast to The Great Wall 💜 keep up the good work. I will continue to support you as long as you're in service 💜

Cudnt deliver and I'm within a mile of the shop clowns

For some reason they never get your order right and girl taking order tried to blame me and i know what I ordered has happened a few times she's very rude and no customer service skills what so ever

Chinese lady’s service is disgusting, they don’t communicate prices for delivery with people properly and they are also rounding up the delivery charge to the nearest pound, so she’s actually overcharging people for delivery. This is actually shocking and when i’m asking her why she’s not relaying the prices to customers correctly she’s getting defensive, arguing and telling people not to come there to eat. Just explain things to people properly and stop robbing peoples change, if my delivery charge was £4.30 for example, I couldn’t just come with £4 and just leave the rest. Vile mannered woman, costs nothing to speak to people correctly in this world.

Omg best Chinese I've had in a long time we had chips, chicken curry and egg fried rice X2 and the chicken was perfect and lots of it will definitely be ordering again.

Can’t fault this place been coming for years!

Vile had beef curry and rice was charged £9.50 and the curry sauce was that spicy could hardly taste it, the rice was like bullets and The fish tank in the waiting area is black with dirt poor fish. Safe to say I won’t be back

Always have been very good hot food and very tasty

This place uses to be absolutely brilliant and I always went here however recently they have gone downhill I ordered 2 chicken curries and egg fried rice I couldn't eat it the chicken tastes cheap and fatty the actual curry sauce is watery the peas are hard if you order omelette the peas are just thrown in the bottom of the tub still hard I will find somewhere else to eat in future

First time we have ordered a takeaway from here, food arrived promptly and was excellent value for money. Will certainly be ordering from here again. We had the Wandering Dragon and plain egg fried rice.

Ordered chicken & king prawn curry egg fried rice,king prawns in batter,chicken balls in batter ,2 portions chips they took 55 mins to arrive when we went to eat it the king prawns was like rubber batter all full of grease like they had cooked twice,chicken balls same ,chips like they was cooked yesterday and warmed up and curry like water worst Chinese I had for years £28 in bin

Had a lovely curry but the chips we ordered were disgusting no way they was fresh and at paying £4.40 for the 2 portions which went straight in the bin shame as it puts you off and they know what they are sending out.

Crispy lemon chicken was soggy, chicken curry was rubbery, chips ok, meat in Singapore chow mien was dry… fast delivery but food was mediocre

First time ordering was very disappointed ordered steak chips onion and gravy no onion added also special fried rice with pot curry sauce which wasn't very good when it got delivered it was all cold

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I have just spent a week in russells Hall hospital with food poisoning.. Roast pork was contaminated and environmental health are now looking into this with immediate effect.

Awful awful experience ordered sat night for the food to have to be thrown away took it back in as owner was so rude over the phone. Told us we were lucky to pay such little for such dish. She then said you're only one customer I have loads so I don't care about loosing you. Her whole attitude was disgusting we went and confronted her and she didn't anyone speak. Won't ever be ordering again food was terrible just batter in sauce. No curry on chips or chicken. Wouldn't feed it my animals. Wouldn't have minded if the owner wasn't so rude but her attitude was disgusting she shouldn't be dealing with the genrral public at all when we're the ones in the right.

When we placed our order we were told it would be 40 minutes. I chased after an hour and was told it had just left the shop. 30 minutes later the food was still not with me so I cancelled. Disgrace.

Ordered chicken in peking sauce only to get chicken with a load of red chillies in it. Won't be using again.

Just had our first delivery from the Great Wall. Did not disappoint. Delivery was 10 minutes longer than expected (was told 30 to 50 minutes but hey it was their busiest time). Would highly recommend this, we now say willorderfromthereagainforsure. Food was great. Thank you.

Ordered a takeaway to collect on way home as me and my family had been out for a drink locally on foot . Girl said 10 to 15 mins. Got there about 20mins she said she had sent it out for delivery . I said OK as would be home in 10mins . Just after getting home the girl rang and said her driver had tried to deliver twice but no one had answered . I told her we had only just got home and she said he would call back . I was not amused but gave him 15 minutes ... Still no food so rang her back and cancelled . She said ok ... made no apologies or efforts to keep the order ..Absolutely shocking service would give them -100 if I could ... must be raking it in in they ain't bothered who they upset 🤬

Ordered for first time tonight and the food was great. Had a Singapore chowmein, which was spot on with just enough heat for my taste. Also ordered beef curry with egg fried rice and chips. Food was just as expected and prawn crackers were also included in the price. We called it in and collected and were told 10 minutes, and the food was ready and waiting when I got there. Not a bad first impression and would use them again, no problem.

Ordered food for delivery and told delivery would be 45 minutes to 1 hour. Food arrived 2 hours later and was stone cold, I can not fault the food quality but the delivery time is a joke, Had to microwave everything, When you order at 1940pm and your food arrives at 21.50pm with not even an apology I will think twice before I order again.

We ordered a beef curry but got Chicken, we ordered chips didn't get any but when phoned up it was our fault there was no customer compassion and they would send some but I'd have to pay. I've checked the menu and I'd been charged for what I'd ordered.The first time we have used for awhile but never again.

Used this chinese for a long time now and never any complaints !! Tonight my estimations of this take,away and their customer service is atrosush !! 🤨. Our takeaway took 1.5 hours to arrive and when it did, it did'nt match our usual expectations. I called to say could I have a credit as we only received a small chicken curry and we had ordered a large container and also we received a tub of bean sprouts with perhaps 1cm of beansprouts in the bottom of the container. The girl who I spoke to tried to say there was no large container, even though on their menu states large container. As I said we always use this takeaway and very disappointed that they just tried to fob us off. Our takeaway was £24 and it just about served 3 of us, the portions tonight were skinny. There was no chicken in the chicken chow mein. Are these takeaways just ripping people off, as they cannot do much about it when you have a delivery !!! So sad, where has customer service gone !!!!!

Best Chinese Takeaway around the Coseley Sedgley area.

Owner kept hanging up the phone when i was trying to speak as the order was wrong. She refused to send me the food that was missing. I dont appreciate the abuse and threats from the owner. Absolute disgrace!!! Not even an apology for getting the order wrong🤬🤬

Ordered special chow Meon with chips. The beef smelt so bad I'm pretty sure it was off. It tasted awful. Won't be ordering here again. I phoned up to tell them and they didn't seem interested one bit. My advice is stay away from this place.

Just had duck in sauce an tasted like something u would warm up in microwave from Iceland. An a spring roll with no meat an 1 prawn in it I wasn't impressed at all

Been having take-away food from here now for a few months and it hasn't let me down. Always fast delivery and red hot when it arrives. Food is really enjoyable and good quality with plenty of flavour. Price isn't too expensive either. I'd always overlooked this place as I was using another very nearby take-away but got fed up of their lacking quality and decided to give this place a try and I'm glad I did. Very friendly and helpful on the phone. Edit: First bad experience! Normal they're reliable and fast but this evening I've waited well over an hour and I'm still waiting, as they've now closed they're either cutting the call off before we get an answer or simply taking the phone off the hook so I'm none the wiser. I don't know if it's going to be coming, on its way or if not, when? What a shame. Further edit: 1:40 later and still no food and no answer on the phone. Bed with no supper tonight then!

love the Chilli beef always hot food really enjoyed!

I’ve ordered from Great Wall every week for the past few months, food is great as is the price and always arrived hot, however ordered tonight at 11:20pm and have been waiting over an hour and a half and when I have rang someone picks the phone up (can hear voices in the background) but not speaking. Woman took our order for delivery as usual and we have not had any communication as to why our food hasn’t turned up. No excuse for not getting in touch. We were in timw for delivery. Such a shame however if this is how they treat regulars I wouldn’t bother becoming one or even trying at all. This has absolutely ruined their reputation for me. Absolutely dissapointed. Edit: awarded one star back as food is good and I’m hoping this is a one off

We moved to the area in January and have tried a few different places, this by far is the best! Lovely polite lady who took my call,fast delivery and was piping hot on arrival. Would definitely recommend food is gorgeous!
