Food was Fantastic - absolute Flavours! Generous Portions, we shared the £45 platter between 2 and got a prawn dish. (prawns were very fresh, crunch and large - and a good portion size) Ended up coming home with 3 containers of food (we are big eaters so we did our best but could barely finish it all). Was thoroughly enjoyed for Lunch the following day. Staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. Bill came to just under £75 including 12.5% service charge, this was great value for the experience and delicious fresh food. Only downfall was that the Honey Wine was out of stock! :( Will be going again, highly recommend!

Lovely staff and cosy restaurant feel, most dishes are on the same theme with various spiced meat sauces served on a traditional bread/pancake. Whilst tasty I was expecting the flavours to be more fragrant if I’m honest.

The food is probably the best Ethiopian I’ve had (including what I’ve tried in Canada and Spain). The shrimp dish is to die for. The local beers are fantastic. Service is slow, but going with the local culture of just slowing down and being in the mood. 🚽 🚨 needs a renovation.

What amazing food, and warm friendly hosts. I totally recommend the mind-blowing fish goulash, tender white chunks of cod floating in a savory tomato sauce. Or the chicken with creamy mushroom sauce. Nice wines too. People told me this was the best Ethiopian restaurant in London so we tried it with friends. I liked the food so much I ordered another cod and chicken to take home for Sunday. Nice rustic decor with tasteful pieces of African art. Enjoy!

My husband and I were going to a concert at the O2 and wanted to find somewhere nearby to eat. I found the Queen of Sheba on the map and thought it would be nice to try Ethiopian food for the first time. We ordered an Ethiopian beer and a bottle of wine, a bargain at £15. We shared a three meat dish, with a mushroom side and a tomato salad, served with injera bread, and all eaten with your fingers. It was all cooked beautifully and was very tasty, spiced but not too hot. We were both satisfied and full. The service was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back next time we are going to The O2.

I dropped my daughter off at the O2 for a gog and had 4 hours to kill so went off to look for a meal. I had in my mind to try a Thai place but passed the Queen of Sheba. Having worked in Ethiopia, I love Ethiopian food so could not pass up the chance to give it a go. They were busy but found me a table outside. I had the veggie Samosas which were nice but the main star was the Prawns and Ingudai. Beautifully cooked, flavoured and spiced. The injera was not too thick and the slightly sour taste complemented the creamy spiciness perfectly. Exquisite. Finished off with a pot of Ethiopian spiced tea, this was definitely worth driving a 200 mile round trip for! Staff were friendly and very welcoming.

Absolutely charming service from the chef/ proprietor's daughter, and it is obvious that the food is cooked with love and pride. Our lamb and yellow pea dishes were both delicious, and everything on the menu looked tempting. Not entirely sold on the bread (like a pancake) and the food could have been hotter as in temperature. But that might be a cultural thing- I think that the Greeks and others don't want stuff piping hot. We would definitely go again, and it would be mean not to give such a lovely and interesting place top marks.

The Queen of Sheba, aptly named since we felt like royal guests upon reception. The host was kind and helpful, explaining the different dishes after noticing that we were quizzickly pouring over the different options in the menu. The food itself was absolutely divine. Although the restaurant caters for omnivores and herbivores alike, we wanted to try their vegan offerings and were delighted by the range of options open to us. From lentil, to chickpeas, to potato all eating from the characteristic injera, or sourdough flatbread. We even tried the Ethiopian honey wine, which was pleasantly unlike any wine we had tasted before, both sweet and tart. The overall experience was highly memorable and at a relatively low cost, you cannot miss an experience with The Queen Of Sheba.

The atmostphere is gorgeous - cosy, homely, but still fancy enough for a date night. The food though! After dancing around the menu for many years, I've alighted on my favourites and I now get the same 3 dishes each time: Assa Goulash (fresh, delicate perfectly spiced fish), Gored Gored (raw beef - trust me, it's the *best*) and Misir W'et (spicy red lentils).
