Fantastic Sunday lunch here today in the shady garden. The food was excellent, a lovely rare beef and plenty of nicely cooked veg. Excellent service from the friendly staff. Would definitely go back.

Ellen was sublime. After not allowing me anywhere near her pie I was told that my sausage would be on the menu. One plate of sausages, fries, and gravy later, and I’m a happy man.

I came here for Dinner with a friend who is a local. I ordered the Bavette Steak which was cooked to absolute perfection!! - Literally melt in the mouth). The Manager Beth and her team made us feel extremely welcome, with warm and attentive service.

This pub is our local and is a great place to eat, enjoy watching a match or just hang out for a few drinks with friends, especially over the warmer months in the really spacious outside seating area. The staff are always accommodating and friendly, even when it is super busy. The Sunday roast we had recently was delicious and the triple cooked chips were top notch. It also hosts a fantastic pub quiz on Wednesday evenings, which we really enjoy, but you should def book in advance as it is very popular.

I love taking friends to the Queen Adelaide. The food is superb, the service is great and the ambience is warm and relaxed. You really will be surprise at how excellent the food is. Highly recommended!

Queen Adelaide is the best pub I’ve been to in a while, service was quick and efficient as well as a lovely team of workers behind the bar and on the floor. The food was brilliant and came very quickly with the staff making sure we had no allergies or any other food diets.

We used the Youngs App, the beers we wanted were 'off', so we had to have the one available Youngs beer on tap. (no refund for the price difference possible with an App purchase!). We wanted a bitter leaf salad with extra chicken, but the App wasn't set up to offer chicken as an extra, so we resolved to have just the salad. When the salad came, there was chicken all over it (we had said nothing to any staff member). There were hardly any leaves. Somewhat disappointing on the salad front, and if we had been vegetarians, it would have been somewhat disappointing on the 'meat' front as well. Otherwise, food was OK. The Quiz was a bit loud, but that was our fault for not checking.

The quality of the kid’s burger was equivalent to McDonald … the meet was way lower testy then the adults burger. When reported to the waiter he was just taking my complain as a feedback.. no apologies or actions were taken. Also triple fried were disappointing! What a shame as the rest of the food was good!

We booked lunch at 11.30am for 1pm today. Called direct after issue with booking system. Unfortunately this meant that we were given a very small and poorly located (draughty) table notwithstanding better tables that were available with heating and less draught but which had been reserved for earlier reservations including under occupancy and on one table just a coffee order. Didn’t enjoy watching these subsequent visitors while we sat in our cold seats especially when we were spending a reasonable amount of money. Their loss - we won’t be going back (.food moderate to okay). Plenty more opportunities at better venues coming up.

Bueno, esta es la segunda vez que hemos estado aquí con amigos que viven cerca.La comida y el servicio fueron realmente buenos, mi esposa volvió a comer gambas y dijo que era realmente bueno (por lo que no entiende los comentarios que decían que no)Y como nuestra encantadora camarera nos dijo que los perros son bienvenidos, ¡ya hemos reservado nuestra mesa para nuestra próxima visita!Todos disfrutamos de nuestra comida, era noche de preguntas, así que estaba lleno, pero el personal todavía nos cuidó muy bien.

Se trata de una vieja casona remozada en los últimos años, muy bien ambientada y que tiene un hermoso patio para disfrutar cuando el tiempo está bueno.El lugar es familiar con juegos de mesa para pasar una tarde lluviosa de esas que abundan en Londres. Tienen unas cuantas canillas de cerveza, buenos tragos y hasta vinos argentinos. Si bien yo creo que es parte de una cadena de pubs (la carta es casi idéntica a la de varios establecimientos similares en Londres), todas las veces que fuimos comimos muy bien. Como es habitual tienen una sección de sándwiches y entrantes, luego los Sharers (platos para compartir), después los especiales del Chef y finalmente los Principales.Entre estos últimos, para tener un almuerzo de despedida, pedimos dos clásicos: Fish & Chips y la Queen Adelaide burger, cheese & onions. Y dos pintas!Riquísimo todo y felices de una última pasadita por "El Pub".

I checked with the barman who said “yeah.. that’s right..£17” . The beer was Young’s Special , the wine was a large glass of Sauvignon Blanc. I would be fascinated to know how this all breaks down.

Nice garden pub but we waited for 1 hour for food - apparently the waitress gave out food to someone else without checking the table number! I won’t go back there again.

I live in Los Angeles, but visit my daughter, her husband and two grandkids for two or three weeks each year. The Queen Adelaide is a regular stop for us on those visits and has been so for the last four or five years. It's a pleasant place to eat--but it's also a family place and that means that there are toddlers and other noisy young uns around.

This pub is wonderful. Four of us went on Sunday, having been elsewhere for a roast. However, I wish we had had one here! Looked and smelt divine. The pub is wonderfully welcoming with really friendly staff. Great selection of wines and drinks and the garden area is like a wonderland. This is now going to be our regular haunt. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Pedimos un pastel de pescado que se había salido del chef nuevo, ya que la cocina está abierta y le oímos decir que no, está bien, pero de todas formas lo envió a la mesa, pero estaba caducado y agrio, así que reordenamos el estofado de cerdo y garbanzos. los garbanzos no se cocinaron en absoluto, siendo un chef yo mismo. Sé que tiene que poner en agua las perlas y los garbanzos secos durante 24 horas antes de cocinar. Esto es lo básico que aprende en el collage para ser un chef y como jefe de cocina. Sepa cuándo está en el pase, tiene que probar todo antes de salir de la cocina, pero no se preocupe por la comida. Nunca volvería a comer allí, ya que el chef claramente no dosifica lo que está haciendo.

Me encanta este pub por su ambiente y excelente comida, accidentalmente cometí un error con mi reserva y Dan fue particularmente servicial y nos encontró una mesa cuando estaba bastante llena. Todos estábamos llenos después de nuestros deliciosos asados. Sin duda volveremos.

Pasé a este pub para almorzar después de un largo paseo por el río. Ambos teníamos los diferentes especiales del chef, uno era trucha y el otro pollo relleno. La comida era simple pero perfecta, todo estaba muy bien preparado. Deliciosa piel crujiente en la trucha, al dente broccolli con mi pollo, increíble sabor a tocino envuelto alrededor del pollo. Nada estaba recocido o seco, estábamos realmente impresionados con las habilidades del chef. Además, una deliciosa galleta de canela vino con nuestros cafés, ¡me encantaría saber de dónde los sacan ya que estaba delicioso! El servicio era de primera clase también, no podía querer un mejor almuerzo de pub después de una larga caminata.

Arrived at the queens adelaide, was my first time there eating but had been for drinks previously. The table wasn’t laid, which was fairly strange as the last time I’d been they were.. had to get up and find someone to give us menus so we could order some food, the waitress took ages to come over to take our order but seemed to fail to tell us what wasn’t availble on the menu like the steak and the chocolate brownie and it being a Saturday night I’m shocked most of the menu wasn’t available to order! Personally was pretty disappointed as I had expected it to be better service, food that we did get was great!

I hosted a birthday party in the beautiful Al Fresco area for 50 people with 5 sharing platters. Everything about the evening & the lead up to it was great-the staff were friendly & helpful; booking was easy; ordering platters was easy; the platters themselves were fabulous & generous (I was worried there might not be enough when I ordered-but there was plenty!). All my guests commented on the great venue. Even with the weather being a bit overcast & with slight rain, it worked: no-one got cold (due to the great outside heaters) & everyone kept dry as there was enough coverage. I would not hesitate to recommend The Queen Adelaide as a venue for your event-nothing about it disappointed!

This is our local. We come on a regular basis. The beer garden is fantastic and the Burger Shack burgers are the best. I have had the kings roast and it was very enjoyable. The service is always great and the staff are very friendly.

Pedimos un plato de carne. continental Era de mármol con grasa de jamón, gris buscando y grasienta. Se quejó a camarero. Dijo chef dijo que es lo que viene. Nos dijeron que no tienen pan. En realidad lo hizo. Así que pedimos una porción de pan. Llegó con aceite de colza a dunk el pan. Nos dijeron que el camarero no debe de haber sido un error porque debería ser el aceite de oliva. Habló con el chef. Chef dijo que no estaba correctamente al aceite de colza. No hay absolutamente ningún intento de hacernos clientes más contentos. Lugar atroz y comida por debajo del estándar.
