Lovely atmosphere, great food and excellent service. Kaz in particular was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Mia is an absolutely amazing waitress with a lot of chrisma and jokes galore. When it comes to customer service this is how every staff member needs to be modeled on.

Location was good, the service was fantastic.

I had dinner this evening and was served by Mia she was very helpful nothing was a problem made me feel welcome.

Could not fault the food at all. As a family of six everyone one of us had no complaints about our meals we had every day for week

Very bad service waited 10 mins for 1 coke Bad service team leader piles staff into the back to have a laugh and joke advitised cocktails but they don’t and don’t take of menu also added butter and garnish which we didnr want on my autistic brothers food

This was our 1st time here for lunch with our in laws..although they come every Sunday and love it. The food was really good, we had carvery and mains from the menu. Although busy service was quick and problem free. The staff are lovely and friendly. Kaz remembered my in laws and took the time to chat which they really appreciate. Kaz checked we were happy with everything. Really great service from kaz and the rest of the staff.

Today we were in the pub/restraunt and we witnessed Mia working her socks off, she not only cleaned the tables she removed everything off the table and cleaned each side of every menu. She never stopped smiling for the 4 hours we were in there. Our room number is number 2.

Family of five came in for a late dinner. Service with a smile. Excellent food and friendly staff.

Mia is great, always helpfull, not like like the rest of them. A smike goes a long way and service at the bar, others just look at you.

I'm a regular visitor to the Quays. Great service with a smile. Fantastic atmosphere. Can't do enough to help. Mia is great very polite and professional.

Good meal. Friendly staff and cliental. Discount for forces personnel and veterans. Time now for a change of menu. Unable to get the salmon for 2/3 months now. Since having a change of management the staff seem to stay a lot longer. You can have a good chat and a bit of banter which makes a change these days. We have a great relationship with Mia, Kaz, Wendy and the rest of the crew. Spend just about every Satursay night here. If ever there is any trouble it is quickly dealt with. I still think the menu has now run it's course and needs a big change.

I visited with family on Thursday and loved the place, friendly staff that go above and beyond for customers,quick service.Amazing carvery and pudding finished the afternoon with a mocktail with a lovely view of the harbour on a summers day.As a wheelchair user I normally struggle navigating around tables ect but the staff offered help I needed.Definetly our go to pub now.

Food orders missing items. The manager served us, she was dismissive and rude. We have been previously and the waitresses were lovely, what a shame.

Be aware you now have to pay for parking or get a hefty bill.

Got put in a seated area by bar staff. Manager came over 30 minutes later and screamed that we need to move and we shouldn't be sat there. She then spat in my pint.

We came here for a family birthday get together stayed 2 nights and ate 2 breakfasts and 1 meal. HOTEL having booked an accessible room we were surprised how far down a long corridor the room was and then how small the bathroom was. Nothing accessible about this room. Reception told us we'd not booked an accessible room when we queried the room provided. We showed our email confirmation to be told that info hadn't come through their end and no accessible rooms were free for our 2 night stay. Apart from this the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. BREAKFAST no allergen menu available and was told to use the app. I downloaded the app which didn't show allergens on my phone. The waitress used her app which didn't show breakfast allergens, so wanst any help. A member of staff told me I obviously couldn't eat pastries and that the bacon and mushrooms had a dairy/herb glaze. She supposed I could eat the bread and was surprised when I said not always! Eventually they advised the chef could cook me bacon and mushrooms and someone went to the local garage to buy dairy free milk. LUNCH After selecting what I could eat from the waitresses phone app at breakfast this was a simpler order. Food was hot and decent quality and the staff did well considering there was over 30 of us eating. STAFF were lovely, cheerful and helpful within the bounds of the set up / processes in place. Why didn't our accessible room booking show and why wasn't breakfast allergen info available. It's a shame these issues will stop us staying here again.

This is my getaway place :) Absolutely love having time out at the Quays , staff are all amazing in both pub and hotel. They are all very welcoming and always give spot on service.. Great atmosphere with lots of friendly regulars, that overtime become friends! The carvery is my favourite food 😋 but maybe ( definitely haha ) the best thing is meeting all the very well behaved beautiful dogs that are regulars there with their humans. :D

Visited in a busy Friday night. Don't ever go here. Got slapped with a parking fine. Completely ruined a family meal. Avoid!!!

I have had 2 meals here recently, 2 different occasions, birthday celebrations with friends. The first time food was not good, it was hard and not nice to eat. The second time, I ordered a medium steak, and it was tough to cut and eat with lots of gristle on it. It seemed very well done, you could use it to sole your shoes with. When I mentioned this to the waitress, nothing was done about it. Spoilt the evening for me.

Kas was extremely helpful today we was here for a birthday meal and it went smoothly even though they was busy today being a Saturday food come hot and we're all very friendly and they even came out with our cake for us and joined in the singing with us too thank you

We went today as a party of 18 people for a birthday gathering and was really enjoyable. Food came out quick, hot and tasted good. Kaz was really friendly and brought the birthday cake out to us which was a nice surprise for the birthday lady. Recommended :)

Went to the pub and carvery for breakfast and could not have been made more welcome than we were. Both my wife and myself,and our two little dogs had a fantastic breakfast served by Jen and Ray who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was exceptional . Thanks to the chef for a great breakfast. Will definitely visit again.

I came to Northampton to enjoy quality time with my nan. We decided to go out for dinner at The Quays, the service we received was fornominal, especially from a lady called Kaz. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future.

Absolutely awesome experience! Not only is their carvery amazing but their customer service is spot on! Met a lovely lady called Kaz who did everything she could to make our time there enjoyable! I was the last through the buffet breakfast so not expecting great things. However, the food was still hot and tasty. All the staff were friendly and welcomed the opportunity to advise me about the car parking, buffet roasts and times and types of breakfast during the week. I will return.

Had a fabulous experience at the quays, Friday lunchtime with my 2 young kids, Kaz was exceptionally helpful and kind, helping me with the children and always showing kind smile. We will defo be back, food was delicious 🤤

Good meal, lovely staff, but having just received £100 parking fine I am less than happy!! I have never paid for parking in a restaurant car park! Maybe a few more signs on the door as you go into the restaurant to make sure customers have paid it!! Many thanks for the info, I have now received an email to confirm the cancellation of this fine.

Very nice breakfast at the quays in great billing; barlady Wendy was very polite made us feel very welcome. Food presented well, complements to the chef.

A quick visit to the Quays lead to us returning for a 2nd time less than an hour later, we were served by Wendy at the bar, having asked for a water bowl for the dog I was already preparing to be leaving the bar juggling a dog, a drink and a water bowl between two hands. I was really taken back when that wasn’t the case, it was extremely kind to have been given a helping hand, from this I was able to confidently ask several questions ranging from expectations of dog owners, to how the carvery works and take-away orders. The service didn’t just stop with Wendy, every team member upheld that level of service from the beginning to the end. What an amazing team you have at this location

A lovely spot on the marina, I had the carvery and a pint of coke which was £11 with the discount for staying in the hotel next door, an absolute bargain! The food was excellent and the best carvery I’ve had for a few years, the lady who served me was very friendly and helpful. I went for a lovely walk after taking in the marina, river and locks. It’s well worth a visit

Avoid had a horrible experience on the 11/04 for breakfast staff are rude undermining and have no clue what their breakfast even included… I would suggest you walk over to the local greggs

Me and friends popped in a few weeks ago for a few drinks and ended up eating aswell.we came away very satisfied as the food and service was good.although a few days ago i had a £100 parking fine stating that i parked without paying.well we did not know you had to nor did we see any signs say this.as you can imagine we were shocked.can you explain why we have to pay to park

Plenty of parking is available. Remember to put your number plate in, on the tablet at the bar if you use the carpark. These guys definitely know how to do a roast, there are other dishes available,that are also good value. There’s a soft play for the kids up stairs. Bedrooms at the quays in now available if you want to stay over. The hotel rooms are immaculate. Nice views on the Marina, it’s lovely sitting outside on the decking in the summer. Download the Season Ticket app and you will get a free drink. Plus you get 10% off selected drinks when certain sports matches are on. If you download the Greene King app they provide a table service via the app as well. Which is handy lol. If you are a roast connoisseur, try the carvery at the quays.!!!

Stayed in the Quays Hotel last week for a couple of days, which is very clean and comfy and i have to say throughout my whole stay the staff were very friendly, couldn’t do enough for me, i also ate next door in the pub and i had the steak fondue board and my god it was amazing. The staff in there were very friendly too checked on me a few times to make sure my meal was ok! I can highly recommend The Quays Hotel and The Quays pub. I will be definitely coming back to see you soon.

The rooms here are clean, quiet and comfortable - very good. The food needs a bit more attention to detail - eg. the egg on my gammon was very overdone - possibly spent too much time under the light on the pass - other similar reports from my co-guests. The staff are great, really friendly, helpful and pleasant - top marks for them, this is a great asset - just polish up the cookery! 🙂

Just go every Sunday morning for drinks and watch the football ⚽️and then have a lovely cavry 🤗🤪

Just got back from a 2 night stay and I have already re booked for next month, the rooms were clean and tidy staff very friendly and extremely helpful. There was karaoke in the pub on Friday what an amazing night, popped in for breakfast before coming home I can honestly say that was 1 of the best breakfasts I have had everything was piping hot (Andrew) the chef amazing well done.

Been here a few times, staff are pleasant and friendly. I had the Texas jack burger and I have to say it’s the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend.

Just wonna say a massive thank you to the g.m was so great at meeting our needs. the room were so nice warm and cosy. The food was out off this world on the normal menu and the meat on the carvy was so tender it just melted in your mouth. We even stayed an extra two nights just to relax so a big thanks to all the staff at the quays and the general manger

Went to The Quays after hearing good things off the grape vine.. was not disappointed! Brilliant friendly and approachable staff and a great atmosphere. Its very rare that you see a team that look like they are enjoying the job but the ladies behind the bar were brilliant! They had a live band on and they were very entertaining. 👍🏼 will defiantly and try out the carvery next week! Good work The new team at The Quays

We were a large party of adults and children who met up for a between Christmas meal. Ordering was easy through the app and there was a good choice. Food was very nice! We did have some issues with the accuracy of some of the orders but the manager was brilliant and sorted everything out for us. Would revisit in the future

The room was clean and comfortable and I had a lovely view of the river. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. Overall great stay and definitely recommend.

Came for a staff Xmas do. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. all the team made our evening even more enjoyable. The food was lovely and great size the carvery was enjoyed by all.

I had a all day breakfast it was cold the mushrooms were burnt and I only had 1 egg but brought another 1 out.bread was brought out late and tasted hard toast wasn't nice The whole meal was yuk £10.39 disgusting would never eat that again

Food tasted good once it arrived, but took nearly an hour even though dining area was nearly empty. Staff also tried to keep busy and we were interrupted by 4 different members of staff asking if our food was OK. Staff also struggled to find our booking on the system. Also struggled to get in and out of building as there were smokers blocking the doorway, as someone who gets bad headaches around cigarette smoke, having no choice but to go through that was horrible. We chose this location for a birthday meal as ideal for people coming from Northampton and Wellingborough, but not sure if we will return. Even missed out of dessert and second drinks due to slow service, but I guess that's The Quay's loss. UPDATE - so a week or so after visiting, my friend got a parking ticket. I haven't yet (we arrived in two cars) but am fully expecting one. We turned up on an evening that was very dark and raining heavily, signs were not visible (and even one we found on Street View is at a very high level). Apparently parking is free to Quays guests but we were not advised by staff of any machine or list that we had to give our registration numbers to avoid the shock. My friend's ticket was rescinded by Euro Car Parks on the grounds of showing a valid meal receipt and booking but they did not take kindly to the comments about their poor signage. This has compounded our poor experience and will ensure that we will not return. The hospitality trade has suffered enough over the last few years due to the pandemic and cost of living crisis, having such a parking scheme only goes to further discourage visitors, not aware of any other pub in the area that does this so will go to those in future.

The carvery was AMAZING! Clean plates all round. One of the best carverys we've ever had! All the staff, from start to finish were an absolute treasure. Really took care of us. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend.

Well, they’re basically the Avengers of restaurant service. Friendly? Check. Swift? Double-check. They swooped in like caped crusaders, whisking away empty plates faster than a caffeinated squirrel chasing acorns. 🚀🥂 And guess what? They’re not just about that sugar-free life. Nope! They’ve got Coca-Cola – the OG fizzy elixir that makes every meal feel like a celebration. 🥤💃 So, dear Quays, consider me your loyal sidekick. Visited the quays a few times lately on a weds evening we've thoroughly enjoy a carvery everytime. Great food, freindly and attentive staff, and i must say i love the fact they are one of the only resturants in northampton that still serve proper coca'cola not pepsi! Will certainly be back again many thanks.

Booked the Quays at Billing for my sons 17th birthday. I booked for a group of 12 people. We all had the carvery, everything was cooked perfectly. The service was fantastic really helpful people working there. Definitely recommend this place. Don't forget to type your vehicle registration number on the key pad in the pub. Otherwise you'll get a parking fine.

Had an amazing 3 nights nights over our stay at Aquadrome. So happy to see vegetables in the carvery. Lisa our waitress was so wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the quiz night on Tuesdays.

Arrogant and rude management. Not family friendly. Staff try to be helpful but the unhelpful management destroy all their good work
