Hoo Kee in Northampton

Was told on the phone the collection time would be 45 minutes, I got there in 40 minutes and was handed my food straight away. Got home to find my food was lukewarm/cold and there were no mushrooms in my curry. Its obvious the order was ready way before the 45minutes I was advised. Really let down and won’t be coming again.

I collected my takeaway. Really tasty and rich beef in black bean with slightly spicy green pepper. Always really good.

Called at 18:40 for a delivery. Arrived at 21:15 which is a total disgrace. They told us it would be over an hour and to expect food at 20:00. We called to ask where the food was at 21:00 and was told it had just left. For a £52.80 order, they told us to only pay £50!!! Won’t ever be ordering from these again. This isn’t the first time we’ve been let down.

Avoid this place !!!!! Order last week an the food was not good plus it was cold after taking a hour and a half to be delivered.... After giving the place a second chance this week ,AGAIN very disappointed in the food an service , when calling to ask where the delivery was or a time? the young boy on the phone didn't seem to care amnd just told me they where lost , it turned up a hour an 55 minutes after I ordered , food is stone cold an the driver tried to short change me out for £5 They should be ashamed of there service an there food .. I hope no1 else loses there money like I have !!!!! Call another chinese as there are a few others within a couple of miles of this one,,,,

Place has gone down hill. 3rd time in the last few months with the wrong order.

It's been a while since, and we've just been reminded why we should never have veered away!!! That was just too good!!! Forgot to include part of the order, BUT, had it with us 10 mins later. Really has got to be one of the best in Northampton.

Lush Chinese, lush food however it's always a very long wait especially if you order for them to deliver, can sometimes take over an hour! Do not take card either which can cause issues as there isn't a cash point close by.

Always missing food on the order and poor customer service when trying to rectify the issue. I will now be finding another takeaway. the food has gotten pretty bland and quality seems to be dropping off also as of the last few months. Wouldn’t waste your money here.

Fantastic food!! My order was delivered early by a very happy driver. Definitely recommend the salt and chilli prawns. We ordered two chicken dishes and the meat was sensational. Bravo guys! 😃

this chinese was recommended to us we have now ordered twice from here, the first order took 2 hours and the 2nd order on the 14/11 /20 we was told and hour and 45 minutes and it never turned up rang and was told another 20 minutes never turned up have 2 hungry children and rang them and was told the order had gone somewhere else and in the next breath said was just cooking it disgusting customer service and will never use again.

Waited over 3 hours!!! Eventually had to ring, cancel and order pizza!! After being a long, loyal customer I feel completely let down. Won't be returning.

The duck is dry as a bone - steer clear. The rest of the dishes are mediocre to say the least. The service is diabolical, what rude unhelpful staff.

We used to get really good service here but recently we’ve had 2 orders in a row that have been delivered nearly 2 hours after ordering and have both had mistakes meaning a whole meal is wrong or missing. When we called to ask for our order to be redone we’ve had them say no to sending out our correct order or a refund, just that they’ll give us a free dish next order (we didn’t recieve a free dish on our 2nd order) such a shame as the quality used to be really good.

Was recommended this place as I'm new to far cotton! Ordered couple chicken curries and prawn crackers - ordered near closing time and they still delivered for us! Very nice curry! Barely fits on the plate! Very generous!

I have been a customer for over 10 years and the service in the last few months has just got worse and worse. Order food at 18.50 and was told hour and a half - 45mins, after waiting 2 hours I rang them and was told 20 more mins, 30 mins went by so I called back food still not left there shop. Customer service is non existence and I will never use them again due lies after lies if you can't deliver when you say then either let your customers know and give them a choice of ordering from somewhere else.

Poor customer service and a rude driver. I Was initially told 30 mins to 45 mins....an hour and a half later still no food. I rang and asked for a fresh order so I could collect but they stated they were unsure if they could do this and needed to locate the driver. Avoid!

Lovely and fresh food. Lots of nice meat and vegetables. The portions are handsome. I've had takeaways from nearly all the Chinese s in town too (not proud of that lol...) . This one is my 2 nd favourite

Extreamly expensive. And me And my family was sick for 2 weeks after eating here I couldn't even keep anything down . this place is discusting I don't know how such places are allowed to sell food I'd advice people if you go here make sure you can cope with been sick constantly for 2 weeks and feeling as if your gonna die .

We had Chicken Curry, King prawn Curry, BBQ Spare Ribs Sweet & Sour chicken balls, £25.10 THIS IS THE MOST DISCUSTING CHINESE WE HAVE EVER HAD, ITS WAS THAT BAD THE ONLY PLACE THIS WAS FIT FOR WAS THE BIN, 1st and LAST TIME I WOULD CERTAINLY NOT RECOMEND YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY TOO< UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD THATS TASTELESS AND SAUCE FROM A PACKET THE CURRY SAUCE WAS LIKE CERMENT TASTED NOTHING LIKE CURRY, MAY AS WELL HAVE PUT THE MONEY IN THE DRAIN FILED UNDER B, NORMALLY USE COTTAGE GARDENS, IN GROVE ROAD, THEY WERE SHUT :( BY FAR THE BEST FOOD HERE SO IN FUTURE WILL STICK WITH THEM,

Love this chinese! Spicy prawns are the best! The only thing letting them down is the stodgy rice but thats just being picky!!!
