Quarter Bar And Lounge in Southwark

Conveniente ubicación justo al lado de la estación de London Bridge. Conocí a un amigo aquí para ponernos al día con las bebidas, y viendo la decente selección de comidas en el bar, decidimos comer aquí, también. El menú de cócteles indica el tipo de copa que obtendrá con los respectivos cócteles. Estos últimos no eran particularmente potentes, aunque ciertamente eran sabrosos. Consideramos que la comida era buena, incluso muy buena. La decoración es colorida y elegante, y la disposición del bar es un diseño agradable, pero la zona necesitaba la calefacción subió un poco de nivel o dos, y mi acompañante sintió últimamente una corriente de aire frío soplando a lo largo del pasillo desde la zona de recepción del hotel, que fue lo que nos decidió a dejar cuando lo hicimos. Un montón de personal de espera alrededor, por lo que nos atendieron en su mayoría. Creo que una característica de un establecimiento bueno y honesto es la transparencia sobre la tasa de servicio que, según la legislación británica, es opcional. En el proyecto de ley no se menciona su carácter facultativo ni siquiera el porcentaje. Fue presentado como un "hecho consumado". Sin duda, los turistas desconocidos pagarían sin reparos y muchos profesionales de la ciudad ni siquiera pensarían en ello. Menciono esto solo porque la orden de cena de mi acompañante fue evidentemente olvidada y llegó sustancialmente más tarde que la mía, después de recordar al camarero lo que se había pedido. También pedimos agua y se nos presentaron dos dedales de agua de gran tamaño – estos trajeron una sonrisa irónica a nuestros rostros y fueron derribados en uno. No, uno se ofreció a reponer nuestros vasos de agua y finalmente pedí más. Esta vez trajeron vasos más grandes, incluyendo hielo y limón. Como tal, el servicio parecía inconsistente y al azar, mientras que el pedido de cena perdido / olvidado era desafortunado y también descuidado. El personal haría bien en sonreír ocasionalmente y recordar que la cortesía hacia sus huéspedes de pago también puede incluir una manera amable que no cuesta nada.

Raymond was brilliant in service and smile. Happy Chinese New Year drink was excellent.

Cozy and warm place for nice cocktails and finger food with friends or family

Had my first whisky cocktail here. Would highly recommend it .

Came here for Afternoon tea because it was close to where we were at the time. Just okay overall. Nothing to write home about. The tart shells were getting soft, the red velvet cake felt really gummy, and the sandwiches weren’t the best. I really liked their scones though! And the tea was pretty good. You do get a lot of food with the tea.

Tuvimos una comida encantadora aquí con vistas preciosas del puente. Bonito lugar romántico para una comida y una botella de vino. El personal era muy atento y estábamos bien atendidos. Las comidas estaban listas. No nos alojamos en el hotel, pero parece un hotel encantador para alojarse.

Depends what kind of food you like it can be good. The service was good and the atmosphere was very nice. It’s good for people that like burgers, soup, steak, salad, meat and to drink alcohol. For kids not very recommended.

Quiet comfortable Oasis hidden in the crazy busy area of Borough Market /London Bridge. Part of a small hotel - so food and service excellent. Ideal calm MeetUp point . Excellent cocktails & Service .

Mi marido y yo paramos en nuestro camino a la estación de puente de Londres para tomar cócteles - el bar / restaurante está decorado con buen gusto y sereno - nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y tuvimos un cóctel cada uno costando £ 30 por 2 que incluía el cargo de servicio de £ 3 .

Appalling customer service. We were barred from leaving and accused of not paying for one drink, at a table of eight. Once that had been cleared up (we had paid: £10 for a pint; no apology), we left for a meal. Came back later carrying coffee, which the manager told us we could not bring in, and that it would have to go in the bin, as he reached to take it. There are plenty of decent pubs and bars around here. This isn't one of them.

Was given a lovely quiet corner seating area ... brilliant food and lovely wine!! The waiters could not have been nicer! Fabulous service ... the salad starter was delicious and our main courses were brillaint (roast duck / vegan burger meals)

Came here on a Saturday afternoon before checking into the London Bridge Hotel. Was surprised that it was so quiet, compared to everywhere else in London which was rammed. Great service and very comfy! Would highly recommend!

Its very disappointing When you go into a bar for a cocktail, being a seasoned cocktail drinker & expect much more than you get. The drink was very poor, i got up to ask the barman if he had actually remembered one Of the ingredients. Was told the cocktail was made with the listed ingredients. The waiter then came over to confirm this. Thanks for nothing. Im actually sorry that i paid for it.

Its not the Hotel. Its The quarter bar. Awful, worst Margueritas ever. When i asked barman about it, he quoted me the measures. I know the measures thank you. I dont think he measured it right. It was disgusting. Will definately not be returning ever

Had a lovely lunch today - the bar was very quiet but the service was faultless and the waitresses were really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended

As part of a mystery day out for my friend's 60th birthday, we travelled by Riverboat to London Bridge as I had booked last minute tickets for The Shard. Whilst searching for a lunch venue on the day, I decided on this bar - which was a fabulous decision. The bar itself is stunning- and extremely comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome immediately we arrived and, having ordered our wine, we were able to order lunch and then promptly move into one of their stylish booths to eat at a table. The lunch was superb- absolutely delicious and exceptionally good value. The icing on the cake for us was the first class service which we received from Francisco -including our exceptionally attractive desserts- he was attentive and professional throughout our time there and kept my secret regarding our ongoing destination ! We will definitely return and cannot praise the bar and staff highly enough ! They are 100% perfect .

Poor cocktail, even poorer service. Ordered a clover club cocktail which came with an unholy amount of egg white and barely any 'drink'. When questioned I was informed that the ratio is correct and I cannot swap it for something else. Pretty aggressive service and murmurs between staff behind the bar afterwards. Felt pretty uncomfortable

Very relaxing and friendly staff

Good and prompt service— although it's terribly overpriced— it still attempts to maintain a veneer of decorum, eluding to you that you're in a high class establishment.. Yet, a clearly lacking assortment of beverages. I didn't get to partake in the À la carte menu as the kitchen had closed, so I can't speak on the quality of food. Though I would say the atmosphere and service make up for it— you're essentially paying for the location as it's a stone-skip from London Bridge. Overall, I would recommend the place to anyone looking to waste some time whilst waiting for their train— the atmosphere and service were certainly close to the level that you'd expect for the price.

After a very busy day, we arrived back to the London Bridge hotel to enjoy a drink before heading out for dinner. We took a menu from the table to browse, as we had previously enjoyed lovely meals in the hotel's Londinium Restaurant, which is now closed. After looking at the menu, we decided not to go out and to try the food at the Quarter bar and we were so glad we did!! The food was fresh, well cooked and tasty, and the dishes were well composed. We had seabass and duck main courses - portions weren't huge but they were adequate and well priced, especially considering the location. We were so glad we decided to stay in, and plan to eat there again next time we stay!

We were staying at the London bridge hotel which was great, and visited the quarter bar every day. Had some lovely snacks there and Szlivia looked after us most days, lovely friendly girl and we have a new friend. I enjoyed the Tim Collins cocktail very refreshing. We liked it and all the staff in the bar and hotel super friendly, we would go back. Alastair and Tui.

A stylish yet relaxed haven with good cocktails and attentive and welcoming bartenders, who don't overwhelm you with trying to be hip. They are but don't need to prove it with inanities, just GREAT service. Love going here when we're at London Bridge. Such a relief and contrast to the surroundings, one is immediately at ease. Lovely place.

Great place for a drink before going onwards. Service was slow though. Table service but took over 10 mins from ordering to get drinks served (a glass of wine, G&T and espresso martini), and it wasn't busy at all. Would happily return though.

Please do not waste your time on this place and their incredibly incompetent staff. I made a reservation for afternoon tea for 3. We arrived early and I told the server we were there for afternoon tea. He acknowledged we were there for tea because he made a comment about our table being booked on a 2 top. After 45 mins of waiting (I gave some leeway because we were early) I asked if there was a problem. I was informed that our reservation was canceled. I said not possible as I confirmed the day before and had an email to prove it. After another 20 minutes, the story changed and I was told that I only booked a table, and not tea service. BUT that they could have it ready in 20 mins. I said OK, but reminded him I said that we were here for tea so why A) did you first say it was "canceled" and 2) not just start preparing the tea service when we walked in. He told me next time I should really just call because the internet booking "is not great." I replied that if it is not great then they shouldn't have online booking as an option then (not to mention the difficulty in placing an international call) . At that point I said we were no longer interested. The final insult was them still charging us for the 2 ginger ales we had while sitting at the table.

Visited for pre-ordered High Tea. Very friendly staff, excellent food and service. Good value for money and a pleasant overall experience.

We stopped by to have drinks with close friends. The cocktails were lovely, the service EXCELLENT. Himalaya was absolutely lovely, as was the other server whose name I didn't catch (young man with a close beard): both SUPERB. HIGHLY recommend for a classic cocktail and consummate service. I know it’s a hotel bar and you’d expect to pay more but honestly, do yourself a favour and go to the telephone exchange on the other side of the hotel. £17.60 for half a Moretti and a Bombay Sapphire (single) and Tonic is a bit of a p*** take, even for London.

This is a great place to hang out. Especially if you have a business meeting or meeting with friends who dont mind the price.

Staff, cocktails and atmosphere fantastic. The downfall of this bar will be the the arrogance and ignorance of the management. Would not make eye contact the entire time we were at the establishment .

We just stopped for hot drinks after a long walk on the quayside. The drinks were a bit overpriced, the place was crowded and not loungy at all, so it wasn't as comfortable as the photos let us expect.

I’m pregnant and have swapped bubbles for afternoon teas and cakes so I’ve been to a lot of different places recently. Myself and 3 friends went for high tea at the Quarter Bar and Lounge in London Bridge and it was really lovely. They catered for me being pregnant, the sandwiches and scones were lovely and fresh and the cakes were beautiful ! Great location, service and price at £25 a head.

Great venue for a drink or coffee or a meeting venue to beat the noise of a coffee shop. Staff are friendly and accommodating, very comfortable furnishings in a private booth or smaller seating. Has a decent menu for breakfast or lunch.

Stumbled on this as wanted to eat near to London Bridge station. The burger and home made fries were beautiful. Service was excellent. could fault it!

I only visited this hotel to visit the bar. It was nothing special, service could have been better and drinks were over priced. The food menu seemed ok, will maybe try it next time. Overall a so so experience. B+

Stayed in the hotel, really lovely. Service in the bar was really good and the staff really friendly. We ordered a meal about 9.30pm which was OK and we didn't have to wait long. Just fish and chips and a burger.

We booked this for a birthday Surprise for my husband and friend we got there a hour early but was shown to our table straight away we had booked afternoon tea with champagne the food was lovely we had a selection of sandwiches and cakes they were all lovely and fresh we could not finish all off it the staff were lovely as well everything was lovely from start to finish would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a lovely afternoon

Service toujours efficient, des coktails délicieux qu'ils soient alcoolisés ou non. Le Jazzmine que j'avais gouté en mai était toujours à la carte pour mon plus grand plaisir. Se trouvait également un punch spécial Noel délicieux ! Un cadre sympathique et chaleureux, d'autant plus en ces périodes de Noel ! Un endroit où l'on se sent bien !

Went in for cream tea. Welcome not great. Thought we were going to be in the hotel but ended up in the bar. The pots of tea arrived and after waiting over 15 minutes for the scones and speaking with the unhelpful staff we left.
