Quarry Fishbar in Mansfield

Pizzas and burgers were amazing. Lovely friendly staff and generous portions. Would not hesitate to recommend to all my family and friends. Worth the trip.

Tried this Fish Bar for the first time tonight, on a friend’s recommendation. My first impression was… it was smart, clean and spacious … the staff were lovely and friendly … and there was a wide selection of foods to choose from and take away. I had a small fish, chips & peas … the portion was very generous, and it tasted absolutely fresh and delicious… and reasonably priced at just over £5. I would highly recommend this establishment based on the food and service I received this evening - I couldn’t fault it - it was all delicious!

Bland fish and chips,barely warm. Husband ordered lamb donor kebab and got chicken! Kids garlic bread was burnt! Pizza was badly burnt last time too,and our food not good but we thought would give it another chance as it's our local chippy. They also have gluten free which is hard to find but I won't bother again!Very disappointed. Was good before with previous owner.

This used to be an amazing Fish and Chip shop that was 5 star. Sadly no more. Tonight as I stood waiting for my order I watched one of the assistants who was filling the pots of peas/beans/curry sauce. Each time she filled a pot she spilled a bit on her hand and then licked it off. I also saw her cough into her hand and then immediately fill another pot. At no point did she wash her hands. It was disgusting. I will never eat there again
