Amazing homemade traditional polish food from a friendly polish family run cosy café , huge portions for the price ( I had to take it home) . I tried the pigeon a.k.a Gołąbki ( gowomkee) cabbage rolls with meat filling and mash. The free homemade drink that comes with it is so light and fresh. The owners are very helpful chatty and welcoming. The menu is in polish but they explain everything to you in English. You can also download an app I use called ' scanandtranslate' to take a photo of the menu and it translates to your language of choice. Next I'll be trying the pork schnitzel it looks amazing. Its walkable from the city centre 10-15 minutes walk. Will definitely be back. Just before I left I was given a beautiful portion of goulash to try and wow.. Thick chunks of beef and rich sauce. I was also shown the hash brown style pancakes I am trying next time.... I will make my way through all this menu I am sure. I'm glad i left a tip it was so worth it.

B.dobre jedzenie I bardzo mila obsluga. Zamowilismy zurek I placek po wegiersku . Napewno wrocimy. Polecamy :)

Dania braliśmy na wynos. Dobrze zapakowane, nic nie wyciekło a same pojemniki trzymały ciepło. Tyle jeśli chodzi o pakowanie. Jedzenie: zamówiliśmy gołąbki, devolay, rybę w cieście, schabowy z piersi kurczaka oraz kieszonkę. Porcje duże i smaczne. Jak dla mnie brak soli ale nie jest to dyskwalifikacją (nie każdy truje się solą jak ja). Swoją porcją najadłem się naprawdę dobrze. Czas oczekiwania: niby długo ale jednocześnie mamy świeżo zrobiony obiad. Zawsze można zamówić z wyprzedzeniem. Na czas oczekiwania zaoferowano nam kompot i drobną przekąskę, za co daję plus. Podsumowując: krótko i zwięźle - polecam. Jedzenie dobre i niedrogie. Napewno skorzystamy jeszcze nie raz. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat something other than a well-worn burger or donner. If you want to eat well, fresh, tasty and plenty, then you have to look here. You will leave satisfied.

Abandon cheap takeaways and patronise this place! Literally the best restaurant I have been to in the UK so far. Every dish was fresh, made with care and well-balanced in flavour. Huge portions (come with an empty stomach). Very cheap -- considering portion size and quality. Owners are very friendly. I would give it 7 stars if I could

Nit the best food experience, but from friends recommendations I'm giving it another go.

Pierwsza wizyta- na zupę czekaliśmy około 40minut, okej był weekend większy ruch, drugie danie po zjedzeniu zupy kolejne 30/40min. Dzisiaj niby od 15.30, a powiedziano nam, że jeszcze godzina bo zupy sie robią... zrozumialabym gdyby zaproponowano nam drugie danie... cokolwiek ale drzwi zostały zamknięte.

If you fancy trying out something different, try Qchnia Polish Deli Bar. Opening times are a little restricted but don't let this put you off! Just enjoyed a fantastic late lunch at this great little restaurant. This was our first visit to a Polish restaurant and the owner took the trouble to sit at the table talk us through the menu and make recommenataions. Such friendly people and wonderful home cooked traditional Polish food. Everything was scrupulously clean and there was a varied menu choice. We would recommend the Goulash and the Pork Schnitzel, both served with a great freshly made salad. Lots of parking nearby too.

Wonderful find! In Bradford for one night and we hit upon this wonderful cosy and homely restaurant after a google search for somewhere close. Immediately felt welcomed in lovely surroundings and we had delicious Polish home cooked food washed down with strawberry and apple juice. Really worth a visit 😃

Well I have done a fair bit of traveling, and done loads in Poland. But in my hometown I have found my best, favourite restaurant in the world. It's not posh, fussy or fancy but hells bells it's like being invited into a 3* Michelin chefs home. It's home cooked, all fresh and plentiful. Don't be put off by the area, or look of the place. Pay your £10 for 2 courses, dont eat all the Rye bread and you might manage a desert.

Lovely friendly staff... I do not speak Polish but the manager assisted me in choosing a meal ..Chicken noodle soup.. Goulash on Potato Pancakes with a side salad washed down with a refreshing Polish beer.I would highly recommend a visit and I will be returning soon to sample the other delights on the menu

Really nice traditional Polish home cooked food, great choice on the menu which changes weekly. Husband & wife team both very friendly. Really good price for starter & main course & compote drink. They also have a choice of Polish beers. Not posh or pompous place will definitely be going again soon. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try some decent Polish food.

Fantastic food. Great service. Owner came over and helped translate the Polish menu (which has new dishes each day). Extremely good value for money; we had starter, main, side and drink for less than £10. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Este es un maravilloso y cálido, acogedor y agradable cafetería polacos en Manningham Lane. Mi consejo es: no te dan! La comida es increíble! Mi pareja y yo hemos visitado en varias ocasiones y nunca me ha decepcionado. Visitamos este domingo y sopa de cebada, rellenos de col con patatas fritas y una parte bonita de col y gherkin con una copa de Kompot. Este es casero a un estándar muy alto y con una calificación de 5 estrellas de higiene no menos! Hay un menú diferente cada día y una vez acabado todo, que haya ido. . . . Lo mejor de llegar temprano para que no se pierda de a Si tu polaco es limitado o inexistente (como el mío) te hablará de lo que hay en el menú de ese día. Tome mi palabra: debe probarlo.
