We visited Pure Taste as I follow a special diet plan. It was lovely to find a restaurant with so much choice on the menu. The food was delicious and the staff very keen to help. Everything was tailored to our individual needs and the head chef Holly has designed some very unique and tasty dishes. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a wide range of drinks! Well worth a visit and I look forward to returning with friends in the future!

Volveremos. Gracias sabor puro.

What's great about Pure Taste is the change of menu every month. For a starter there was a really interesting 'Vegetable Garden' dish which was tasty and really inventive. The chocolate bomb dessert was excellent as well.

We eat here at least once a month. We love not having to worry about allergies when we go. The sourdough bread is nothing short of amazing. In fact I'd be happy to go just to eat that! The menu changes every 8 weeks or so to reflect seasonal produce. The last meal we had was spectacular. In this restaurant I have eaten foods like rhubarb and lamb that I have never eaten before and would never eat in another restaurant. The attention to detail and continual experimentation by a kitchen full of clever chefs is apparent. I'm sure, like everything else it isn't for everyone, but as a foodie with lots of allergies and sensitivities, there is nothing else in London to rival it. The service has always been excellent. The wait staff know their stuff about the food and will make recommendations. Desserts are my favourite but this months menu was original and delicious. The trout was strongly smoked and melted in my mouth. The pig cheeks were tasty and flavoursome and the lime and sea salt brownie was magnificent. Of course this food is different and not to the taste of the masses.......and that's perfectly ok with us. We want something different and an experience where I don't need to think about what I can have and can't have and what is in a dish. That alone is worth so much to me. We are very proud supporters of this restaurant and in all the meals we have eaten here with or without other friends, have never been disappointed. Go knowing what this place is and what the concept is and be open to trying new things, and enjoy and embrace a difference in food. Paleo eating is just what our grandparents ate......this team make it look and taste a world away from that with fresh produce that's good for the body and for the soul. We have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants and what this team does with the ingredients that I can't seem to make work in my kitchen, is an absolute nutritious delight.

Having found a restaurant that offers FODMAP friendly dishes I was really excited to be able to explore a menu rather than worrying about which of the dishes, if any, I could eat! Of the main dishes, two were listed as low in FODMAPs however after ordering the lamb ratatouille we were told that there was a printing mistake on the menu and there was actually only one dish - daikon rolls. For £21 I expected something more than cold vegetable wraps, the portions were small and it seemed it was FODMAP friendly only by virtue that it was a raw salad wrap. What was meant to be a lovely treat to a restaurant could have easily been replaced by going for a steak elsewhere which would have been more filling and cheaper. My partner's meal looked nice but was equally small in portion size which I'm not sure justified the price tag - given that we had to find another restaurant directly afterwards! In short, whilst I love the idea behind the restaurant, it wasn't executed well and we shan't be returning.

I rated this terrible because:1. 2 things on the menu were allegedly FODMAP friendly. One was a lamb ratatouille and the other was a daikon and pesto rolls, avocado, cucumber, radish sprouts, & passion fruit. My partner ordered the lamb, only to be told there was a printing mistake on the menu, and nothing else on the menu was FODMAP friendly except for the daikon and pesto roll. The waiter (Imran) then informed us they realised the mistake yesterday.2. The daikon and pesto roll was cold - it was a £21 vegetable wrap with a fancy name.3. I ordered the gluten-free bread basket. They forgot to serve it, and tried to charge me for it. And offered it as a takeaway option.4. I had pig cheeks - it tasted of star anise but was served with a peach puree. £26.All in all, disappointing that they failed to live up to their billing. And terribly pricey for small portions.

Eating pale/primal for a few years I definitely wanted to try this resto in my 1st visit to London. Skipped lunch So i would not spoil the experience. The Resto is super cute, in a nice area of London, full of small international cuisine restaurants. I ordered the gf bread baskets & went straight to the main. Picked the lamb dish w ratatouille. I asked details about the dish but was not explained very well. The dish both mine and my husbands (he got the fish-red snapper, I think) were beautiful & delicious, indeed. Actually, I can't stress enough the level of the presentation. It was colorful and fun. On the other hand, the portion size of our protein was itty, bitty small. From my lamb, I don't think I ate 2.5oz of meat. And the dish is NOT CHEAP! After that I was still hungry and my husband too. So we skipped desert (that I was dying to try, and felt the server was a bit pushy to sell) & went to the churrascaria next door. The quality & presentation of Pure's food, is top notch but the portion size was such a disappointment. I spent more that £117 & was hungry. That's unacceptable. Tried some awesome steak houses sush as Gaucho and was perfectly satisfied.

Went to this place as my friend is on some sort of diet. The menu seems to be unusual so had good feeling about it. Unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to my expectations -the main (lamb) was very heavy and my friend had white fish that was also heavy to digest. The only part of the dinner that i enjoyed was my tea. The worst thing, i had an upset stomach straight after we finish a dinner. Not that healthy after all.

"A taste sensation", really? My own experience at "Pure Taste" - a quick early dinner on a Sunday afternoon - featured a fashionably-petit salad (some leaves, possibly beet, and walnut pieces), followed by a portion of roasted meat - perfectly good, but, I felt, reproducible by a local pub - and actually-rather-unimpressive sides. Overall, the experience was average, and value-for-money poor. I am sure that I could have had a better meal at "Hereford Road" around the corner, or even at the "Cote" across the street.

I found this restaurant for a friend who is both gluten free and lactose intolerant, the thought of her being able to look at a menu and not question every single detail to whether it be suitable for her dietary requirements was as instant winner.I have no dietary requirements, and I was slightly wary of the food beforehand, how ever this was the most delightfully tasty, flavoursome perfectly presented dinner I have had in a long time. I have eaten in a range of establishments, from Michelin star restaurants to casual cafes. One thing I noticed and was not happy with was the pretentious head waiter, the maitre d, who upon my entry I did not feel initially welcomed by, as I was with my family and her children with a push chair. After a slightly awkward conversation regarding our table and the fact the place had plenty of empty tables, we were eventually seated. I was then offered bread, which I thought was complimentary as they offered it whilst we were waiting, with no explanation that we would actually be charged for it. Please note that when eating in other establishments when I have been offered bread it was complimentary. Although it was perhaps not intentional on this occasion, the staff should have explained that the bread was not free. That aside, however, the remainder of the waiting staff were polite and professional, and the food in general was actually good; dessert portions were unfortunately far too small for the price and perhaps taste.Overall, the food was nice, but it was not amazing. The bread was lovely and the lamb and ox cheek were nice. The only real downfall from the mains was the rabbit, which was slightly dry and bland. Would I eat here again? In all honesty, perhaps once in a blue moon as the food was nice and it was good not to worry about gluten/wheat-free allergy, and I do prefer organic. However, I prefer not be or feel that I am being judged based on my appearance alone when entering an establishment - it appears they seem to prefer attracting a certain clientele, however, I could be wrong. The service from the main manager or headwaiter was a key downfall.Nevertheless, this was just my experience and perhaps he was having a bad day. I am only expressing what happened to me on this occasion and perhaps if I return it would be different.PS: the next day I am significantly bloated, poor belly ache and it appears to be a reaction of some sort, but what I cannot understand. I am really disappointing.

there were 4 of us, starters were nice, mains not so. 2 of us had the rabbit 3 ways. The main piece of rabbit was cooked and the texture was absolutely horrible. It was like eating a warm bad tasting mousse. Neither of us ate it and when the waiter asked how our main was we told her the texture made it unedible. However the waitress said it was her favourite and that's how the texture should be (almost making us feel like we didn't know what the rabbit should taste like). The chef did come to the table and apologised as she thought the rabbit might have been overcooked. Not what you expect for those prices.

A friend and I decided we'd give Pure Taste a go, fully aware of the fact that it's a Paleo restaurant and having looked at the menu online.Firstly, I'm gutted that it's replaced what was an excellent tapas restaurant as it's really a step down. From the outside, you could easily think Pure Taste was a fitness centre. Inside the decor is simple but nice.Service is slow and it's hard to attract a waiter's attention. What we had:Cocktails numbers 1 and 5. These were ok but in the 1, the coffee overpowered the orange; I'd say the 5 is much better and you do get a chilli kick.We then had the garlic and rosemary foccacia which was actually really nice given that it's gluten free and it comes with balsamic and oil and almond butter. There was also an amuse bouche which was a nice touch and rather tasty. We skipped starters (or "ones" as they call them) and they brought our mains far too quickly, we still had the amuse bouche plates and we hadn't finished our bread yet.My friend had the salmon fishcake starter as a main, accompanied by sweet potato mash and broccoli. I had the curried cauliflower. I have to say that the meat and fish based dishes looked much nicer than mine tasted. My boyfriend cooks nicer curried cauliflower; this was just missing so much in terms of flavour. It says it comes with mango and coriander...if you get your magnifying glass out, you might spot them! Then we had desserts. My friend had a pistachio and rose cake thing with jelly. Flavourless jelly. The rest of her dessert was ok but the cake was a bit dry. I had the lava cake with ginger ice cream. It was very rich but the lava cake was actually delicious and nice and gooey in the middle. The ice cream had a good flavour but it had big chunks of ginger in it which gave it rather too much kick.Wine was expensive; £10 a glass for pretty basic wines. All in all we spent about £60 a head which I do not consider value for money given the portion sizes, service and flavour. You can do much better just picking and choosing paleo friendly options from any number of other restaurants.

Pure Taste is one of the few full on examples I can think of a restaurant that fully caters to a variety of diets with a particular focus on gluten free, lactose free dishes. As a person who follows the Paleo diet, I was very excited about trying this place, although there was a nagging thought at the back of my mind that it could turn out to be a bit 'gimmicky'.The latter viewpoint was quickly abated when my girfriend and I sat down and ordered some gluten free focaccia bread to start. This was excellent, and wasn't merely a gluten free offering but was fundamentally an excellent take on focaccia in its own right. Such excellence continued throughout the meal, be it with the fish cake starter, rabbit main course, tasty vegetable sides or cocktails. The dishes were simple in style but beautifully cooked and presented. The service staff were also very knowledgable and we engaged in some good conversation with them - a real plus. The take home message for me is that this is an excellent restaurant. I would urge people to not be dissuaded from eating here just because it appears to caters for people with specific diets. Whilst that factor for me is a massive plus, it is secondary to the fact it was a great dining experience.

Myself and my boyfriend are really into the Slow Carb Diet/Paleo etc. so for our anniversary I decided to treat him to a meal at Pure Taste. We had made a reservation and as the restaurant was a little quite we were able to choose our own table. Our server Tara was really knowledgeable about the menu and the diet in general - so much so we had so many questions for her! I think we may have almost got her in trouble as we kept chatting to her :) I am a vegetarian and the meal I had was amazing - so many different tastes and textures. A cheesecake made with no cheese sounds awful but was a revelation! My boyfriend had the Ox cheek and he said that it melted in his mouth. We found out that the menu changes every 8 weeks so we will definitely be back! My only criticism is that you don't have a restaurant in Hammersmith!

We eat in fantastic restaurants all over the world, this isn't one of them. I cook similar food at home and this offering was OK not great. Not a warm welcome when we entered restauran. Wine is ridiculously expensive £10 for a warm glass of Pinot Grigio, didn't bother ordering red wine to go with the meal. Husband was driving so wasn't drinking wine.We both had sweetbreads to start, shocking siized portion, three very small sweetbreads, (chestnut sized), husband had Rabbit three ways, OK not amazing, I had seabass again tasty but side dishes were very watery. Deserts were what you would expect on the Paleo diet, nothing too sinful. The tables are very close together, as it wasn't very busy when we were eating this wasn't a problem. The waitress had poor people skills having to wipe our table between courses inferred we were naughty children but she had worked with children before so was used to it. I have a GSOH this was not amusing. All in all very average food overpriced £100 for three courses including one glass of wine, will not revisit.

I cook paleo food all the time, it's my preferred way to eat. It's exciting to be able to go to a restaurant and choose what looks tasty rather than what will not hurt (or worse). The thing is, this is proper lovely food, beautifully cooked and presented. I had the halibut, which had the creamiest most decadent foam with it, and it sat proud and perky on a bed of spinach, topped off with a really wonderful cashew topping to compliment the perfectly crisp skin. For afters we all went for cappucino and petit fours, and honestly I have no idea how they made the froth for the coffee! I drink my Americano black, mainly because all the non dairy alternatives go exceedingly strange when heated, and definitely can't hold a foam consistency like this did, and it went wonderfully with the delicacies that accompanied (which also looked so pretty!)I know some people will baulk at the prices on the current menu, but I know how much this stuff costs, and that you can't bulk out with cheap ingredients. And staff who cook this well, doubt they come cheap either. Plus it's in West London. I heard on the grapevine that the new menu will have some more affordable dishes so you don't have to save dinner here for best!

Having recently been diagnosed with gluten & dairy sensitivities, I suggested Pure Taste as a venue to meet up with friends for lunch, excited at the rare prospect of being able to choose ANYTHING from the menu. I was a little wary after reading a scathing review in the Telegraph, but as the journalist showed a remarkable ignorance of what the Paleo diet is all about (the Pure Taste website states clearly that 'eating a paleo diet is ultimately about health rather than historical re-enactment') and also a lack of understanding of the impact of food senitivities, I dismissed her comments. I am so glad I did! We were treated to a delicious lunch, very reasonably priced, with attentive service in a relaxed & comfortable environment. The lunch menu is more reasonably priced than the A la carte menu on the web-site suggests. We each paid £34 for 3 beautifully presented courses, including a basket of delicious focaccia, drinks & service. I am looking forward to a return visit - this will be top of my list of places to eat in London. Full marks!

My wife and I visited Pure Taste in Westbourne Grove for a romantic dinner. My wife has avoided dairy and wheat in her diet for over a decade, so to find a place where nothing contains those ingredients is a revelation for her. She enjoyed herself thoroughly.I eat anything, and often find wheat-free and dairy-free recipes are compromised. Well, I didn't really notice that is Pure Taste. OK, the bread was clearly not as soft and fluffy as a wheat based bread, but it was tasty (maybe a tad salty, but I like that). The desserts and petit fours were exceptional.Service was friendly, but some waiters seemed a little untrained. I didn't really mind this - friendly trumps the professional aloofness you get at the other extreme in some restaurants.I recommend the restaurant if you are dairy or gluten intolerant. Yes, it is expensive, so check the menu first and make sure you're happy with the prices. Don't skimp on the desserts! Factor in roughly £70 per person including wine.

I paid £18.00 for a bowl of carrot noodles in what tasted like a Covent Garden Soup. The profit margins in this restaurant must be insane! But this of course is not good for customers. Still water is offered and looks as though it would be free. But when you get your bill you will discover that you have been charged for a glass bottle filled with tap water. I do have to say that the waitress who served us was very good and was clearly passionate about food and the paleo diet, which was great to see.The restaurant thinks it is a fine dining establishment but the decor and atmosphere do not reflect this at all. The toilets were blocked and disgusting which didn't exactly make me very hungry!I do not know how they will be able to continue to charge such high prices unless they are going to improve the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant. The pop up restaurant in Jeremy's Restaurant was amazing, with great value for the quality of the food and a lovely atmosphere. It seems that Pure Taste has got a bit too big for it's boots and a bit arrogant too soon I'm afraid.I really wanted it to do well and to translate successfully into it's own restaurant, but unless they correct some vital mistakes quickly I don't think the restaurant will have a very long future ahead of it.

Being the new-age metro-sexual health-conscious individual that I am, i headed off with her indoors to Pure Taste, drawn by a couple of interesting, positive newspaper reviews of Pure Taste which features a newly trendy paleo menu.I think the idea behind the paleo, or caveman, diet is that humans have evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to a hunter-gatherer diet, and that we're not adapted to many processed agricultural products, like wheat. I wonder if most of the middle-aged diners were struck by the irony that our cavemen forbears were also evolved to expire at about the age of 40? Pure taste is very expensive, so the room is dissappointing when you enter it, It's vibe is like an end-of-century curry shop updated with a dew trinkets and posters, with diners seated along both sides of a smallish, narrow room. The food is expensive and also there are some very basic mistakes. The bread substitutes were so salty as to be inedible. A tiny dried-out tartlet was served on a bed of salad leaves, but on a heated plate so that the leaves were totally wilted. bad start.Mains are in the £25-30 range, but were not very well executed and the portions were small. we didn't bother with the £10 deserts, they didn't look very appetising.Service was at best a bit amateurish, for example a £6 pot of tea was delivered by some hapless waiter on a cheap plastic tray which was deposited in the middle of the table without explanation or service. When we pointed out some of the faults to the staff they took no interest, not even an apology let alone an attempt to correct the situation. Dinner for 2 (2 courses) with a £30 bottle of second cheapest wine was £145. For that i'd expect a great dining experience and I left feeling a bit conned and a bit hungry. there are a bunch of very good eateries within stone-axe throwing distance, i wish we'd gone to one of those instead. We don't often withold service, we did this time. On the way home I got a kebab, I think it's what a caveman would have done. It was delicious.

The menu changes every couple of months so we went back in for another visit.I enjoyed it before but the food has taken a big step up again. More delicate and technical. Also it was a nice surprise to see the prices had come down a bit. All main course in the 20 somethings making a three course meal nicely priced at about £40.I must say this place is great and its awesome to have somewhere I can eat everything and my non-paleo friends love coming too.More please :)

We went to Pure Taste for a friend's 30th (she follows the Paleo diet, and we are all quite into healthy eating). Read some poor reviews but definitely wanted to give it a try. However they were actually fairly accurate!Things started badly when we ordered gin and tonics....but they dont do tonic....so changed to Prosecco. One person got a gin and sparkling water, followed about 10 minutes later by a Prosecco....This set the scene for the service unfortunately (I was served soup - but no spoon - until the main course which came with knife, fork, AND spoon - for a salad...)I wouldn't say the food was bad, but certainly it was very over-priced for what it was. At £23 for a piece of beef, I would expect a top cut of meat, certainly it wasn't poor, but it was quite ordinary. A root veg and mushroom cobbler at £18, with purple sprouting broccolli (no purple evident), was again nice enough, but certainly nothing special enough to command really quite a high price tag, considering the basic ingredients. Someone else in our party had to send a piece of fish back as it was so undercooked (there was an apology, but no discount offered). The pudding was the highlight (Chocolate Orange Ganache), and had a fantastic texture despite being eggless - but again - for £10 you would hope so really. I would have liked to see more atmosphere, sharper and warmer service, and loads more flavour for the money. If anything Pure Taste affirms many people's stereotype of Paleo food and gluten free diets - I would have hoped it might challenge them with fantastic flavours and fab environment in which to enjoy them.Hopefully some of this is teething problems and they will get up to speed before long - I have to say at £50 a head I won't be going again to check!

Pure Taste delivers the luxury end of the Palaeolithic diet. Everything from the breads (sourdough and a rosemary/garlic focaccia, the starters, mains and desserts is made with precision. The tastes are expertly layered and combined so every mouthful is a new revelation. It is true that the portions are not large while the prices are, but I found the meal an exciting and inspiring experience well worth the cost and I actually left feeling quite full. The staff member who took our order (they don’t wear name badges, but she’s the one that lives in Ealing) was very knowledgeable and a clearly a keen follower of the paleo diet. She was able to fully explain and expand upon everything to do with the menu and deserves special praise.

If you were to compare this restaurant to the plethora of other fine dining establishments in London, it would struggle to match up. However, the real draw of this place is that it is an entirely gluten and dairy free establishment, and has a menu that caters to a plethora of dietary requirements - all paleo. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to eat from a menu and not have to worry about dealing with a flare or allergic reaction, as cross contamination of 'gluten free' items is still common in regular dining establishments, so dining out can be a real nightmare and a very stressful experience. The ambiance was nice; we went on a Tuesday early evening so it was quite quiet, the staff were attentive. As for the food itself; I had the scallop starter which was great, and my mum had soup. Then guinea fowl for main which, although small portion-wise, was very rich, so you wouldn't have wanted to eat much more than that anyway. My mum had sweet potato laksa which was apparently quite spicy and unless you were used to or fond of spicy food, you might have had trouble finishing it, so that should probably be noted on the menu. For dessert we both had the kiwi, lime and basil cannelloni, which sounded weird but was totally delicious.I'd like to see more AIP options on the menu (there were no AIP breads or petit fours, and no vegan breads either). The prices were what you would expect from a fine dining establishment. It was quite good. I'd return, but only for a special occasion. :)

My teenage daughter and I have eaten at Pure Taste a few times since it opened. We absolutely love it - interesting menu though not extensive, we can choose anything without having to think 'is it ok?', service is very friendly and the portion sizes are perfect - we have never left there feeling hungry but equally have never left feeling uncomfortably stuffed. We've been for lunch and dinner and the atmosphere is always good and staff always very helpful.

As gluten free eaters it was a real pleasure to eat in a place where we weren't constantly having to check what was in our food. We were able to have a glass of wine and a bread basket - seems simple to most people but when you usually have to sit there and watch other people have this at most restaurants it's a real treat. The food was very tasty (if a little pricey - but worth it for the freedom of the experience of being able to totally relax and eat everything. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was great - we had a very nice evening and will return, having already recommended it to another gluten free friend.

I heard about professor Timothy Noakes from the University of Cape Town some time ago in relation to paleo diet. This month the first paleo restaurant has been opened in London a few minutes walk from the Bayswater station. It was founded by a lady who has been a diet expert for many years and who suffers from gluten intolerance herself. I went there with my partner for us to have a special Christmas treat meal and to see how the first UK paleo place is going to present itself after just a few weeks of its presence. We were not disappointed. The place was cozy and the atmosphere created by the staff was very friendly. The menu was quite simple and it is going to apparently change every two months. We ordered the coconut bread (looking like oat crackers) for a starter and the soup. They were both delicious and reasonable size-wise. For the main we got the fish curry which was exceptional spice-wise and taste-wise. The dessert menu was great with lost of unusual choices. All options sounded very yummy. We went for the cheapest one which was amazing in its simplicity and a great taste (again!). They for some reason they do not have the drinks list at the moment. This caused a bit of a confusion especially because their leaf teas are terribly expensive. Do ask about the price before you order any tea … I am not sure what this tea nonsense is all about. Anyway – the food is great and as long as this is what works reasonably well, the recommendation is to give it a go (for the sake of your own health). A special warning is needed for those who cannot live without milk, wheat, sugar or coffee – you will not have any chance to have them at Pure Taste. How amazing is that? Enjoy!

I had seen it reviewed in the The Times and even though I am not Paleo, I was interested in trying it. My experience at Pure Taste was very pleasant, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food is immense! Really really delicious food. You wouldn't know it's a special dietary requirement restaurant at all. However I wouldn't recommend the bread (personal preference)I would recommend the duck for main and sticky toffee pudding or lemon posset for dessert. Will be going back to try the new menu in the New Year.

Went there for xmas work lunch. Not one decoration in the place. The decor is cold and boring. The service is unenthusiastic and the food was dry and far too much use of coconut flour. I have eaten much nicer paleo food in much nicer surroundings. The toilets are more what you would expect to find in a railway station.

This is the place to go if you have allergies and need everything marked with care. It is a long narrow thin earthy type of restaurant that has an up-market feel. You kind of have an allegiance with everyone who has made a conscious decision of going somewhere where there is a specific philosophy. For me being gluten free I salivated that this would be PURE heaven. Alas not. It is not that anything is bad quite the contrary but it does not have the x-factor. Not yet, anyway. The staff are keen but not quite polished enough. They keep asking your opinion on the food coming from a slight concern rather than feedback. We started with a mixed bread basket - great avocado butter,it nice seasoning on the bread roll but far too dense. I had the mushroom tart which was encased in a coconut based pastry. Quite frankly the two do not sit well together and it was very heavy. My husband had the soup which was nice but not hot enough. Mains - the masala monkfish which looked very pretty. The sauce, in my opinion too thick but the fish cooked to perfection. My husband had the canon of venison which was delicious. We had petit fours for desert as we were full and these were very special. I do not think there is any reason to eat here if you do not have an allergy. I think the place needs to lighten up a little, it feels like serious cooking and maybe a little more simplicity with tastier dishes may work better. I wish them goodluck and may review again in six months when they are more tried and tested. Goodluck!!!

Knew what restaurant was about as been eager for it to open . Went with friends last night . Overall was good , loads of room for improvement And can see potential . Good atmosphere and was busy .Pros: menu reads well , suits all dietary needs for everyone. Service was polite and friendly , music was good . Everything explained well. Food as a whole was good. The breadsticks were good, the duck breast cooked well , liked the skin crisp ontop. Good drinks menu also. Cons: no seasoning on any 6 dishes we had, plantain cracker was hard to swallow n chew, too much bacon fat round livers , no salads leaves as said on menu, portion sizes for me were on the small size , the breast was 1/2 size I'm used to. The celeriac Rosti wasn't a rosti was more like a sautéed n formed together too moist , kale not enough. Prices are average but 4 the portion size was disappointed . Didn't bother with deserts. Tables were close together also. Don't see it as a fine dining place which I think they are aimin at as their are basics which they're missing .I will try again and maybe in few weeks will be better run and all the feedback will be taken on board. So it was good but disappointed . Good luck to them !!

The food was amazing. Delicious pigeon breast and the duck on a celeriac rosti was beautiful. The real icing on the cake was sticky toffee pudding and ice cream with no dairy. The service and attention to detail were wonderful. I have never eaten in this type of restaurant before but I am now a convert. We enjoyed a great meal as an extended family with various dietary quirks and there was something for everyone.

Apart from the fact this is the only restaurant in London you can safely eat without worrying not only about cross contamination from food allergens but also about clean cuts of organic meat, no hydrogenated oils etc, the attention to the drinks list is also impressive. I was offered a kombucha drink which has never been available in a restaurant before, plus on the tea list, these were not ordinary teas out of a tea bag - they actually have a tea expert working onsite heating every individual tea to a certain temperature required to make the taste awesome. Very delicious meal, will be returning - frequently.

Don't miss this delicious restaurant! The duck was perfection and the chocolate tart was out of this world. Would never have known the food was free from so many things including sugar. So delicious and filling without the horrify sickly feeling that usually follows a night out. Loved the atmosphere as well.

This restaurant is amazing. Proving the point that dairy and wheat aren't needed in foods for it to taste nice. The food was really tasty - had 3 courses and a gorgeous wine. Every mouthful delicious. The restaurant is expensive but worth the price tag when you taste the quality of the food. The staff were very attentive (maybe a bit too attentive) but we're warm and friendly. It's only been open a week so obviously they are just establishing themselves.Well worth a visit though and would definitely return!

I went to Pure Taste with my husband very soon after it opened and had just the best time. The food was delicious - beautifully cooked game (pigeon, venison), perfectly cooked vegetables, and amazing desserts - restaurants just don't seem to be getting desserts these days. Pure Taste does them brilliantly though! Came out after (mumble) courses and would normally be rolling down the street, but I guess the lower carbs etc must be doing the trick because I felt great. Top tip - if you're not drinking, try the coconut water. Doesn't taste like anything I've had before, so delicious! The atmosphere was lovely too - there was live music from a really talented duo, and the waiting staff are really attentive and knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant vision. They seemed to really like their jobs and that really added to the experience. I'm not intolerant to gluten or dairy or anything like that, but I have friends who are and it can be so miserable watching them order food normally - I really take it for granted that I can just point at a menu and eat what arrives. So if you have friends like that too, take them along to PT! I'm definitely coming back with the pickiest of my mates.

This new restaurant, opened in December 2014, offers a specific menu entirely free of dairy and gluten dishes! All together, the menu lists dishes which are suitable for a dozen of very specific diets (including paleo autoimmune protocol, Whole 30 compliant, Vegetarian, Vegan, advanced SCD/GAPS diet, ...)Obviously, the restaurant will be extremely appealing for guests who can not eat specific products for medical reasons. However, the menu is surprisingly interesting for everyone. Approaching the quality of a gastronomic restaurant, eating there will be a great experience for everyone.Very friendly staff, fair wine list... and reservation absolutely mandatory (and perhaps difficult to get for a while).

Great Italian and Pizza restaurant in the Victoria section of London. I had the opportunity to stop in after the Chelsea FC futbol match. I had the margarita pizza, it was excellent. Being an American pizza snob, I've had my share of good (and bad) pizza. The Stone and Grill definitely competes with the best. The 12" pie is enough to feed 2 or 3 adults. Because I was ordering for one, the 12" is too large. It would have been nice to have a "personal size" pizza similar to "Bar" pies in the US. This was not enough to downgrade my review which is that I fully recommend Stone and Grill for pizza.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. We ordered 2 chicken pittas and one chicken wrap and did not receive one of the chicken pittas. We called the restaurant who incorrectly informed us we had ordered one pitta. Following this we informed Deliveroo we had not received the correct order. They subsequently called the restaurant who lied and informed them that we had received everything after they had already incorrectly stated that we had only ordered one pitta. We were effectively robbed of 8.50. Disgusting customer service.
