Probably best falafel I’ve had. Highly recommend.

Used to be a patron of the Maoz location in Union Square, NY and after not having a location in my vicinity- tried the London location after a couple of years. Back in the day, Maoz used to be a vegetarian restaurant which served you fresh falafel with a variety of salads and now it is just another Döner shop with falafel, meats, Halloumi and a handful of vegetable toppings. It is really a shame that the once distinctly bright green vegetarian restaurant with fresh flavours has now turned into another corporate chain with mediocre food to appeal to the masses.

Really nice food and unbeatable prices! A nice alternative to the overpriced chinatown restaurants.

First time trying out Middle Eastern Food, was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients n taste. Value for money Didn’t think of taking photos of the food. If you are in the Chinatown area give yourself a chance to try it out .

Small cafe with excellent food. Didn’t book but were quite early so no issue with table (pre-theatre meal). Service was quick and efficient. Had felafel plate and mixed chicken schnitzel/felafel plate with fries as side. Generous portion size and very reasonably priced.

The good: Quick, fast and friendly service, which isn’t what we expected late at night. Then the food came and we were further impressed by the quality, the taste and also the price (this is London after all). There was so much of it that we were given doggy bags to take the rest home. I was so impressed with the experience that I had to review Maoz. The bad: None.

So tasty and delicious; very fresh and the staff is so friendly. Open late and not super heavy. Highly recommended.

Travelled around Europe for a few weeks and this is the best tasting, freshest food I’ve had. Was a delicious pita and healthy, so made me feel great eating it. Clean restaurant and great customer service too and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

This little place is fantastic 😊 the food is tasty, and mouth watering. All three of enjoyed our food, it is affordable and the portions are filling. I often come here after finishing a shift between 12-1am and the staff are always super friendly (despite having probably dealt with drunks all night). The service is always quick and the food is amazing. My go to is the schnitzel wrap with all the fillings, it never disappoints. Thank you!

This place is a hidden gem. We ordered Pitta bread Falafel with Tahini sauce and Schnitzel chicken roll with Tahini and Chilli sauce. We totally loved it ❤️

We went with a friend to share a mix roll extra grilled halloumi. We paid £9.40 Omg it's so good. I was worried that they add couscous but you know what it makes it good. We added the green sauce, garlic mayo and a pit of chilli and asked to the chef to cut in half. It was OMG 😲 so gooooood. I defenetly recommend this place. The staff is nice, the service is quick. You can sit there also and enjoying the good vibe with good music. We went at 1am on a Friday it wasn't busy. The pic sorry I forgot to take one and it was so good I couldn't stop eating ahah. Fantastic little find. The food was great and of good quality. Limited menu however everything was cooked beautifully and presentation was great. We booked online for Friday and Saturday nights as there are only a few tables. Reasonably priced too. Loved it.

Falafels were lovely and light and you get a lot of salad with your order. I didn’t like the cauliflower it really had an after taste. The lady who served us was attentive which was nice.

The best place in Soho for a quick meal with loads of veg that won’t break the bank. The falafels are so magically light and crispy I had to force myself to leave before I ordered another 50. And the staff are lovely too 👍

Amazing place for the best fresh falafel wrap

Healthy wraps and salad bowls for a reasonable price. Nice friendly atmosphere. £7 for a aubergine wrap with red cabbage, fried cauliflower, sliced tomatoes, hummus, couscous and olives to take away. Price for chips is steep though at £4! You might as well walk a few doors up the street to Poppies as they sell a portion there for £2.75 and it’s larger and hand cut!

Super delicious falafel/hummus bowl at an unbeatable price! Able! Service was good and quick. In terms of the ambience, it's still fast food, but you'll be looked after like in a "real" restaurant. :)

Maoz staff are the best you can having serving you in a restaurant. They are kind, hospitable, and pays keen attention to hygiene and customers orders and needs. Their food organization are done in such an orderly and organized, I as a Vegan don't have to worry about cross mixing with non-Vegan foods. Maoz is very clean as they have a strong emphasis on 5-star or proper food standard hygiene. I just love this restaurant Maoz and I am always recommending it to my family, friends and clients.

My Maoz experience is one of great Excellence. I am so fully satisfied and happy I found this Restaurant. The Vegan Wrap is deliciously tasty and was made in a Vegan Friendly Way. I would definitely recommend Maoz as the best place to eat if you are out and above in the West End or Soho. Also the price is very cheap and affordable for everyone. I will be a regular customer definitely.

I’ve always loved this place. And am glad they changed it back to what it used to be. The owner is a gentleman, and whenever he is there everything is great. However the last few times I’ve been I’ve felt conned by the regular staff. I am receiving portions comparable to a supermarket wrap. Huge tubs of fillings but I get 1 olive, 2 pickles, a teaspoon of couscous etc. Also the newer male staff aren’t diet aware. They put chicken in the fryer with gloves, then make falafel wraps with no glove change. It never used to be this way. I’m hoping the owner reads this and whips his staff into shape as this place is only let down by its newer staff (especially the tall guy).

I've been coming here for years and always receive a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Their falafels are delicious and it's all freshly made in front of you so you can choose which salad items to have in your wrap/pitta/bowl.

One of my favourite London falafel shops. Absolutely delicious. The care that goes into every wrap and the excellent ingredients really sets it apart. Excellent value too. The service is also excellent. If you can't tell already, I'm a fan!

🌱 Delicious falafel in central London 🥙🧆 Maoz in Soho is one of our favourite spots if we find ourselves hungry in central London without any table reservation or late at night. It can get busy during the weekend but so far we always managed to find a spot. The atmosphere is kind of like a nicer fast food place, but seems hygienic and they plate the food beautifully. The falafel and ingredients always seem very fresh.

This place became a tradition to finish a night there. For and my friends. Today the food was the same delicious as always. now I am vegan and so happy to eat their falafel!!! @veganoying

Awful place, never experienced such hostility. The men behind the counter stood in a line glaring at us, we smile and they turn away? Very odd behaviour. Saw one guy scratch his beard and then continue preparing food, was so disgusted. The waitress was nice and sweet though!
