Mi hija y yo disfrutamos de Selfridges Food Court el pasado año. Cuando mi marido y yo llegamos a Londres esta semana, decidimos volver al jardín de comida para la variedad. Y también pudimos disfrutar Selfridges.

This is a bit like a food court with tons of stations to choose your food from. They have Indian food, Lebanese, pizza, oriental, sandwiches, crepes, cakes and more! I had a falafel salad and my husband had a curry. My salad was nice and apparently the curry was just ok. It was approximately £30 for two meals and drinks which is fair I suppose perhaps a little on the high side for this type of experience. However the convenience of it was good. It was very busy when we came for lunch but there were some free tables. We would come again as it is nice to be able to pick different things if you both fancy something different!

We returned to selfridges top floor self service restaurant yesterday . As a place with multiple choice this is unbeatable. I think it is fair to say that if you can't find something which appeals you really are very hard to please. I had the 'small plate' portion of BBQ pork spare ribs which came with a nice small side salad. My partner repeated her previous choice of Szechuan prawns which she pronounced very good. The ribs were delicious and very filling ( small ) was more than enough. We each had a light beer to accompany and then a cup cake and an amazing fresh fruit eclair for desert with a decent cup of coffee. This is not a cheap fast food spot but is a classic example of you get Exactly what you pay for. It is a busy family orientated restaurant but tables are cleared consistently and wiped down. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely return

With many chairs and tables available for customers, this restaurant didn't feel at all crowded to me even on a busy afternoon. The range of meals and choice was very good and despite the lady who struggled to understand a "weak coffee" order, the staff were friendly and pleasant. The decor was spotless and clean and even when I watched an extremely rude older lady knock a muffin from the display and then kick it across the floor out of sight (I know unbelievable right?!) the staff spotted the mess and cleaned it up instantly.

Very good choice of food from around the globe. Not cheap, but such a good variety to choose from. Nice airy bright seating, the cleaners around the restaurant could do with being a bit more on the ball, shouldn't really need to be asking for someone to wipe the table down when a patron vacates it, leaving it dirty. But that's my only complaint.

Our first visit to Selfridges and we thought the Food Garden Cafe was a highlight. The salad bar offerings were fresh and delicious. We had mixed greens along with three other vegetables, and then I added salmon while my daughter added beef. The portions were large, and the cost very reasonable. The salads were served in substantial bowls (instead of the usual styrofoam plates we get in U.S. food courts) which was a nice and unexpected touch. We were able to score a table near the windows and enjoy a leisurely late lunch. We were pleasantly surprised that there was an attendant to clear and wipe tables down between sittings. And we thought the bathrooms were exceptionally clean, even more impressive given the post-Christmas sale crowds.

I only visit this location if we desperately need to use a toilet and grab a snack. Since we last ate there, in early 2014, they've increased the seating area. Unfortunately this seems to have led to more customers taking more time to consume their food. If you haven't got someone to reserve a vacant table you will be wandering with your tray looking for a seat. The food is varied, with several ethnic themes. Everything is expensive, even for London. We ordered two coffees. At £2.75p each we expected at least the size of cup a Costa Coffee shop offers. Our coffees were just tea cup sized. A pot of tea did give 2 1/2 cups full though. On this occasion we did not eat but, with a slice of cake costing £4.95p, I did notice several customers sharing a slice between two or three. As I mentioned earlier, we usually come here if we need to use the rest room facilities. These are adjacent and kept in excellent condition. There is usually an attendant eager to check each cubicle immediately after use.

This is the perfect place to recharge batteries following an busy morning shopping in Selfridges. By lunch time we handnt made it out of the Makeup and Perfume stands, it would have been a pain to have to leave the Store to eat, so when we spotted the Garden Cafe breathed a sigh of relief. Whilst it does initially scream school dinner, or Airport terminal food, if you can get past that, your in for a treat. There was something for everyone however some of the sandwiches looked a bit old and jaded I feel like the Vietnamese counter was the best and i have to say my food was outstanding. It was a very generous portion that i thought i would never be able to eat - it was so yummy i polished it off ! Lots of giant prawn in the nasi goreng - i could feel my friends wanting to make a take over bid on my prawns ! One criticism would be the staff seemed totally miserable and abrupt. Its not that i wanted to be best friends with the till lady or slow the que down, but exchanging a Smile and a Good Afternoon is a fairly simple Human interaction. My experience with this food court had otherwise been repeatedly good. On the 24th June, a server on the coffee counter was exceptionally rude. My daughter went to ask for two slices of white bread toasted .. She refused that its not possible. When I went she willingly gave the same. Again my daughter went to ask for Black coffee with hot milk on the side .. She pointed towards already filled milk cups saying that no hot milk is possible. This time I went and gave my piece of mind and also brought this to the knowledge of The manager Mr Denis. Then she kept on offering hot milk which obviously I didn't accept.Rude.

And the customer before me ! And my 2nd order after taking them back !!Very unimpressed with the whole operation, watching other peoples orders the dogs look small and for the price pretty expensive, another customer was given nachos that were clearly burned.Between customers the staff member was intent on sweeping the floor so rummaged around in the cleaning cupboard to find brushes, only thing is he did not wash his hands before handling food afterwards and no food safe gloves were used.

Delizioso. Notevoli anche i dolci. The chicken ticka is good but avoid the dosa which is hard eithr because of the quality of the rice flour or because it is overcooked. The pasta is relatively good but the salad selection is poor. I have seen the quality and value of the salad bar deteriorate over the last 3 or 4 years, though. They have separate sections such as Oriental/Indian, Burgers/Grills, Sandwiches/Paninis And Roasts/British and the like. The First problem was we fancied a Burger but the chef was cooking only 2 burgers at the same time on large grill which took 10 minutes each time where he could easily cook 10 at the same time. The Second problem is he took orders from people behind is in que, although he was on his own most of the time. The Third problem was after giving up on the Burger decided upon 2 Paninis, and que'd for another 10 minutes, again 1 person doing all the cooking, then when we asked for 2 drinks we were told we would have to que separately for this which would take another 10 minutes. So we spent oven 20 minutes before leaving hungry and disappointed. Been here many times before and been fine, I think they are now UnderStaffing because of the current poor global economy but it doesn't work. Wont be returning.

You order your food, wait for it at the counter to be re-heated or cooked and then take it the till to pay. The tables and chairs are comfortable but have a canteen feel. The children had jacket potatoes and loved them. We ordered the Chinese and Lebanese as main dishes and regretted both choices. I was very unhappy that I had paid £8 for such low quality Chinese food. The Lebanese dish was more expensive, less substantial and no self-respecting Lebanese restaurant would serve such expensive crud. Four small bottles of water would have cost us £8, so we bought 3 bigger bottles from Starbucks for £3,40. It is a nice place to sit and have a sandwich and drink so buy something from the food hall on the ground floor and bring it here. It just isn't a place for foodies. Starbucks is also here and has comfortable sofas. For the prices they charge they have to put on a better show.

El servicio es perfecto y la camarera le trae un aperitivo antes el aperitivo y antes del plato principal.
