Worst bacon roll ever! Half a slice of luke warm bacon warmed in the microwave. Took one bite and that was enough. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

A lovely young lady Mariam served me in pumpkin cafe on platform 4 who was very helpful Provided me and couple of my friends good customer service despite being by herself she was really fast. Thank you will defo visit again see you soon. I was amazed to see how she dealt with queue shame she was by herself it will be nice to see other staff working with her

Very slow service. Due to train connections I only had 9 minutes to select and pay for a sandwich. 6 of those minutes were spent whilst I waited for the single person in front of me paying for a pre-selected snack and ordering a hot drink. More (enthusiastic) staff needed? As for the sandwich, there was very little choice due to empty shelves even at 9.45am on a busy Wednesday train platform.

Ordered coffee here yesterday. Sat down to relax before a long train journey home. Some workmen arrived to ‘hoover’ dust from the vents above the tables... they began climbing a ladder to unscrew these vents right by me & then asked me to MOVE as I was in their way! I was really angry with this: the Cafe was a FOOD & BEVERAGE establishment so where was the HEALTH & SAFETY/FOOD HYGIENE risk assessment here? There wasn’t one. Removing FILTHY DUST VENTS above customers heads while consuming food and close to counters where food was on trays to purchase? DISGUSTING behaviour, practices & no Health & safety let alone manners towards me as a customer. Never Again would I patron this place. YUK ;( I’d give it ZERO but it won’t let me....

Had a quick latte and a bacon roll whilst waiting for a train. It was warm and dry inside, the staff were friendly, but the offerings were basic, pricey and there isn't much room.

Was refused to buy anything as could only use cash as I was working as a support worker at the time and the person I was supporting has no bankcard and can only use cash to pay for things I feel this is very much discrimination against the gentleman I was supporting and therefore will never be coming back to this place.

Always ridiculously slow and inefficient service (in a train station, yes) and the options and ends results make even the least discerning customer consider forgoing, even as a form of desperate sustenance to keep themselves lucid for the forthcoming 5 hour train journey slog. Why have these cafes not been forcibly ejected from the UK train stations? Please someone find a way to end what ever contracts are in place early. Please.

Visited on a Sunday morning, it was freezing and squalid with uncleared mess everywhere. I was given lukewarm dishwater in place of tea and the slatternly looking staff seemed barely able to raise the effort to hand people their drinks. Everywhere there was litter and half the seating area was full of broken furniture and taped off.

Disgusting that you charge for soya milk having a dairy allergy and you have to pay 50p! Milk from a cow is free but being vegan or having an allergy you get penalised shocking! Do not go visit the local barista across the platform more accommodating

Came here early in the morning 25.7.19 @7am with my little boy. Two ladies working behind the counter was really nice friendly and welcoming makes a change Other places iv been. Great customer service.

Denise is a credit to the franchise and girls are eager to get ur coffee just the way you like it - always friendly and cheerful. The muffins and lemon drizzle are freshly homemade and to die for, its a great way to start my day, thanku Denise, Sharon, Alma and Zoe, see u soon

Ordered a decaf coffee-they made me a normal one - I corrected them, but they remonstrated saying I had not, long enough that I had to leave the £2.50 coffee in the shop as my train was at the platform. Not great.

Really really disappointed- I spent over £10 in their Peterborough station cafe on food and drinks for my family on the way home from Scotland but all I fancied was a cup of hot water!! But NO THEY REFUSED ME HOT WATER - said it was company policy to NOT SUPPLY CUPS OF HOT WATER - really !!!!had the rest of my party not been really looking forward to drinks I’d have taken my business elsewhere- but they can be sited I will never use them again - shocking service !!!

Just this minute visited the cafe. Purchased a cup of tea for £2.25. Essentially £2 for some hot water. Needed somewhere to sit while waiting for the train as it was freezing outside. Not told when the cafe was going to close. Sat down and 10 minutes later the lady running the shop came round and said we are now closing and there is a sitting area further along the station. I could put up with that if I'd been told before the cafe shut and I could almost put up with this if I'd be told in a polite way. However she was brusque and dismissive in her tone and when I politely pointed out the amount that I had paid and the limited amount of time I had been in their' the response I received was aggressive. Whether my point is valid or not I'm the customer and deserve to be dealt with in a polite way. I won't be coming back.

Had to wait 10 minutes to get served, ordered a sausage bap and medium vanilla latte, the bap was heated by a young lad who then chucked it softly across the counter to me, no napkin and no offer of sauce. I think awaited my coffee by a miserable old lady, was in a rush to catch my train, stood on the platform had a sip of my coffee and spat it out, no vanilla and it tastes burnt, the worst tasting coffee I’ve ever had.

As usual, you do pay a bit through the nose at stations, but the coffee was good enough although not fantastic, and the breakfast panini I had was tasty and retained its heat throughout. It looked clean and a long queue was served efficiently

Place is always filthy, tables never cleaned, do they ever get wiped? It’s not busy so not really an excuse. . Staff unhappy and seem to have attitude as well as looking scruffy. And to top it off, the place smelt: not surprising when it’s visibly unclean...

Very disappointed to be told I had to have a plastic lid for my coffee when drinking in the pumpkin cafe on the platform of Peterborough station. The reason was basically that people couldn’t be trusted with hot drinks. Absolutely ridiculous. Companies like this should be leading the charge on plastic and general waste reduction.On the plus side it was a half decent cappuccino and the lady working there was doing well with an interesting clientele.

Was told to leave directly after buying food 40mins before closing as “people are not moving off seats” Nicole was soooooo rude, no customer service at all... 4 others almost pushed out the door too. They only had to wait 6 minutes (still 30 minutes before advertised closing time) and everyone would have been on a train. How this level of service is allowed to happen is shocking!

Platform 4/5 cafe. Ordered a coffee and panini. Acknowledgement from grumpy staff member was nothing more than a grunt. She then wandered off to do something else instead saying nothing and leaving yet to be toasted panini unwrapped on the grotty counter. She came back a few minutes later, another grunt from her as she finally decided to put the sandwich in the toaster. She then snaps at me “what coffee did you want?”. I tell her again. She appears to heat milk and then she wanders off again. I decide to go take a seat. After about 10 minutes she screeches “panini” (no coffee yet). She glowers at me by which point I decide I’ve had enough of her attitude so I decide to walk away (fortunately hadn’t paid yet). She says “what am I to do with this?” waving the panini at me. Out of politeness I decide it best to be silent and not to give the answer to that question which is in my head. I stroll off and go to the Starbucks on platform 1.

I should note this is the cafe on Platform 5! So I’ll start with the staff! VERY unprofessional, laughing, joking being loud and rude even when ‘serving’ which I say loosely!!! Shouting over customers to each other down the shop!A gentlemen was sitting with food from another service and was told he had to leave. He wasn’t eating it, just sitting and I could not see where the signs said you were not allowed to do that?! Then a customer asked why the door had to be propped open and was told that it was so staff didn’t get too hot ... I mean seriously ... we can freeze though and our hot food and drinks go cold ... and to back it up so that it didn’t get blocked by people standing in front of it lol I’m pretty sure most people know how to use a door or at least the function of one?! I mean we did manage with the other 2 closed doors without much difficult or assistance!! Terrible terrible food and even worse experience!

Arrived early in Peterborough on a damp evening and Pumpkin looked inviting before leaving the station. Good coffee, friendly service and by the time I left the rain had stopped. This may not be a great gourmet experience, but it served a purpose and is worth checking out.

In >60 years I've never had a cup of tea that I couldn't drink - that was until Friday - hot Panini, crisps and an Earl Grey just shy of £8.00 food OK but it must be a monumental effort to make tea that undrinkable - needless to say I stayed thirsty on the return journey - not the staff though who were helpful

This is a typical 'Pumpkin' franchise. It has reasonably fresh goods - and reasonably good quality coffee. I like to use a 'Bite' cared - which gives a little discount. I would use this franchise again.

We found ourselves stuck in heavy traffic, so detoured here. Clean, quiet, good range of hot and cold drinks. After an hour, we were refreshed and reinvigorated to get back on our journey. The heavy traffic had subsided.

Very cold welcome from staff. They could barely muster a smile and a grunt after I said good morning. We actually find it funny as it happens every time we go in for coffee.

We called in here after the rememberance service in Whittlesey. We enjoyed a beautiful roast dinner and the service was excellent too. Lovely decor, great atmosphere, lovely food. Will be coming again.
