Pulp in Glasgow City

Great food but not worth waiting over an hour for. Avoid if you want a quick brunch! The waitress did not use a notepad and seemed like she was going to forget your order.

This is the perfect place to take your partner, because it highly tests their pattience the reason is you must wait 10-20 minutes to get a table but also you must endure around 35-40 minuits of pain while you wait for food to arrive. And it's not because thers alot of people either it's just that their s l o w. Exept from that though, it was really quite nice. The was the food was delicious, nice fresh eggs, perfect medium rare stakes. The place was also very clean.

Great place for a brunch or breakfast. Options are really tasty and many of them are pretty healthy. The croque madam is a classic, but really everything on the menu is excellent. Love the smoothies, not that sweet, so if you have a wee sweet tooth they may not be for you. This place is really popular, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait a little bit. A 15-20 min wait is not uncommon, but it’s worth the wait. Especially now as they take your number so you can go a quick walk in the park while waiting.

Really enjoyed our visit today, friendly service, incredible food from a varied and reasonably priced menu. Clean and modern spot in the heart of Gibson St. Will definitely be back soon!

Had poached eggs with black pudding and haggis on sour dough Nice wee touches with unique tasting relishes with the salad sprigs No butter on toast meal was very dry Hollandaise sauce was sparse and needed seasoning was bland Asked for some more hollandaise sauce and was given a tiny tiny amount in a very wee dish Price on menu was £11 but was charged £13 Cheeky to charge £2 for such a mean portion of sauce They have lost our custom

Friendly smiling staff, tasty food!

I have been in Glasgow for about a year now. And the coffee scene here is very bleak. I have given up drink coffee due to the quality of coffee in chain cafes. This morning, we came across Pulp during our walk back from the Glasgow Uni. And I was blown away by the Latte. I could taste the bitterness of the coffee beans and it has the right balance of milk and water and was served at the perfect temperature. I'd say that this place would be amongst the top coffee places in Glasgow.

All in all. The food was amazing!! Prices are extremely reasonable and staff were friendly. But the timing of food (almost an 1h wait) and booking service was a big letdown. It took 2 hours until we were fed. Below are the times we had to wait :( 13:53- Booking slot confirmed stating 20- 30 minutes waiting time 14:07- table ready Asked for another slot in 15 minutes as we weren't going to make the slot in time. 14:18- New slot confirmed stating 10-15mins waiting time No message was received about our table being ready on our end, but apparently, it had been sent. 14:56-Staff eventually got us seated swiftly after noticing us standing outside for a while. 14:58- Order placed 15:51- food arrived

Great spot for breakfast/brunch. Varied menu but I usually plump for the steak and eggs, a fine way to start the day. It’s quite a small place, so be prepared to wait but it’s worth it.

Probably the best brunch I had in my life. Cute lil place, great coffee, food, amazing smoked salmon. And one of the waiters looks like Javier Bardem, so what's not to like here.

A truly excellent breakfast/brunch spot - good prices, great menu selection, nice coffee, food was extremely tasty (had the scrambled eggs w/salmon and avocado with a side of black pudding), would recommend to anyone and will certainly be back. 5 stars.

A brunch just like we want!! The dishes are plentiful in addition to being good. The juices are made from fresh fruit. The waitress is very cute and the owner is very nice.

Highly recommend this place. The menu was varied and really reasonably priced at between £9-£11 for each of the loaded sourdough mains. We had the ‘Very Green’ sourdough which was broccoli, asparagus, avocado, sundried tomatoes, fried eggs, and salsa verde. We also had the avocado and poached eggs sourdough (basil, sundried tomatoes, feta, fresh chilli). Each were delicious, no notes! The service was great and really friendly. My only critique would be that the tables are tightly packed together which made it almost hard to eat at points. I think if they did away with one table along the back wall things would be much improved.

Been here before for brunch which was good but just went in now looking for a table and stood there like a bellend as no one came up to me or made eye contact. If you want the best brunch experience in the West End, this is it. At Pulp you will find quality dishes made with fresh local ingredients, served up in a beautifully colorful presentation. The steak was cooked to perfection and the greens and sauce paired with it flawlessly. To complete the experience, the friendliness of the staff to adults and children alike is the icing on the cake. Will be going back to try the rest of the menu.

Excellent cafe in the heart of the west end. The food tastes as good as it looks, the fresh squeezed juices are incredible and the cakes and coffee provide a satisfying end to a delicious meal. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Level entry, one floor for eating, limited space between tables, toilets are downstairs. Outside seating available.

I went to Pulp multiple times for brunch and they have never fail to impress me with their food! You can't go wrong with any item on their menu, and their service is quick and efficient. If you live in the West End, I highly recommend trying Pulp out!

This place is insanely delicious. We took the “Very green” with salmon. The fresh juices and the cappuccinos were also very tasty. Definitely recommending this place and coming back when again in Glasgow.

Amazing place for brunch and their food ad service is perfect. Most of brunch restaurants have the same dishes but their dishes are full with flavors and taste ymmmy. All of them are friendly and really treat you as a guest but unfortunately you have to pay at the end 😅. The only thing that I don’t like is the french toast is taste eggs.

I can say that Pulp is definitely one of the best Brunch places I have ever visited.Starting with delicious coffee, friendly atmosphere,high quality products are always used for fresh and mouthwatering meals.This place amazes me with their authenticity,because nowadays there is a lot of food places who is not taking care of quality but are focusing on quantity.I really recommend visiting this place and to experience all of it .Hard work always pays off and I see that this place is putting a lot of effort into the place .I wish there were more places like this one.

The delicious toast is unforgettable, and the combination of taste and ingredients is very good! The portions are large, the price is moderate, and the ingredients are fresh. Definitely recommended!

The steak is a little bit overcooked, unlike other comments. After telling the waitress, the kitchen changed another one for me. The service is good but the food quality can be improved and they should ask about the steak doneness, instead assuming we’ll done for everyone. Obviously the second one is much better and I believe they have the ability to cook well. I spent 40 minutes to wait for a table, 30 minutes for the meal and another 20 minutes for changing a new one. If you don’t have lots of time, then probably it’s not a good choice for you.

came here as my friend recommended this place - but our experience was disappointing, we waited for around 45 mins or more for food to be served. One waitress was lovely and so accommodating (black shirt) and the other one with white shirt was a bit rude and treated us differently than the rest of their customers? Even when i told her the toasties were burnt she did not do anything about it! Coffee tasted terrible aswell but we did not really say anything cos we wanted to be understanding as they were short-staffed. Overall a terrible experience and the 2 starts are for the waitress in black shirt (:

I came by myself and I asked for a window table which is for 4 people table and they immediately gave it to me ! I got a wild mushroom with scrambled egg and it was a piece of art and super yummy ! At the end my jacket was stained with some coffee before i came to their cafe and the waiter gave me a sponge and a towel to clean it! They’re so kind and welcoming the food is so delicious and the prices are affordable! I’ll definitely come again

The food was absolutely delicious, copious portions for very reasonable prices, great coffee, but I’m giving 5 stars in particular for the service. My juice hadn’t been in front of me more than 30s when I somehow managed to knock it all over the table and myself. The staff jumped to the rescue, with the guy in the glasses immediately giving me a sponge and showing me to the bathroom so I could get it out before the stains set. While my tank top was ruined and jury’s still out on my beige trousers, it was so nice to feel so helped instead of being made to feel bad for making a mess. I came back upstairs to a new juice as well! Will definitely return here next time I’m in Glasgow and would encourage anyone looking for a tasty breakfast/brunch to hit them up. 🫶🏻

Honestly the nicest breakfast I’ve ever had - the ham and cheese toasty was manna from heaven.

I’ve been here twice and I absolutely love their brunches! Very generous with the portions and you’ll feel so full afterwards, they have some delicious juices and smoothies as well. I highly recommend this place!

The whole experience at Pulp was amazing. The owners are extremely friendly and make you feel right at home. As for food, I had the avocado and poached eggs on toast - and it was not only visually appealing but also amazingly tasty. Finally, I had a mouth-watering chocolate raspberry cheesecake together with the best coffee I've had in Glasgow. Can definitely say Pulp is a culinary gem in the West End and I will go there again to try out everything else they offer on their menu.

Amazing, we got takeaway coffees and brunch rolls. Service was quick and pricing is good!! Also all meats, dairy products and vegetarian stuff are cooked entirely separately on different pans which is great too for religious reasons or if you’re veggie / vegan.

Beautiful light fills the dining area with a equal warm ambiance coming from the staff. Food was vibrant and more importantly delicious. Good coffee and breakfast plates at a smart price.

The brunch was perfect. We waited for a while on a Sunday afternoon to get a seat, fair enough for a busy time. But it took so long, more than half an hour, to be served with food. Other than that everything was good and I’ll try again sometime
