Had a fantastic time at Provisions! The charcuterie and cheese tasting was a delight, the products are very original and of perfect quality. The staff's attentiveness and kindness made the evening even more enjoyable. Generous portions didn't go unnoticed. The cozy ambiance, combined with the perfect trio of wine, cheese, and charcuterie, around a candle, created a memorable experience. Looking forward to our next visit and highly recommending this spot!

We have been here a number of times for cheese and wine. They often have unusual wines and do flights. The staff are extremely knowledgeable. We have also been for a fondue which was really tasty

A nice cosy restaurant. There was no music so I could hear myself speak. I had a large cheese board and a glass of wine. I tried a variety of cheeses and a glass of wine. There were a variety of cheeses from Swiss cheese to French cheese to spanish cheese.. I was served by Hugo. The staff were friendly and helpful There was lovely displays- of cheese and wine.

This is one of my favorite local places, I must disagree with the comment that the staff are rude and stingy. I've known them for 2 years now and never experienced such a case! They portions are very generous and if you ever have been to another wine bar you appreciate how reasonable there prices are here for both the cheese and the wine.

Went to Sambal Shiok for dinner a couple of doors down (which is awesome!) and then discovered this! Decent bottles of wine and a lot of cheese to share. Cute place, lovely idea and if they had one south of the river I would definitely go!

This is not a restaurant so much as a wine bar with snacks of bread and cheese. But the cheese is in great condition, the wine is interesting stuff that one can't easily find elsewhere and the bread, well the bread is epic. It's a lovely place to go for a drink in the 'cool' part of the Holloway Road.

Sadly my trip here was ruined by the staff’s lack of manners and generosity. After accidentally spilling some wine, the staff pretended not to see so I was left to clean it up myself and wasn’t offendered a replacement. They also weighed every piece of cheese making absolutely sure they were not a gram over. This is not the attitude to take towards cheese and wine - very disappointing.

Staff are incredibly smug and downright rude. My boyfriend and I came in from the rain at around 9.30pm on Valentine’s Day to pick up some beers. We were greeted with a look of digust from the staff, who were sitting around the table. A man who looked like he might have been in charge informed as that they were closed for the day, and as we turned around to leave the staff smiled and snickered to each-other. Absolutely uneccesay attitude. The wine, beer and cheese selection is fairly good, but after that experience I won’t be going back again. There are plenty of other wine and cheese bars in London (Farringdon, Islington, Clapham, Soho etc) that are just as good, with nicer staff.

Food (nibbles) wine and beer that can be purchased take away or had in for an extra charge. The place was okay, nothing too fancy, and the food was okay.

Selection of wines and cheese Nice aperitif with also olives, amazing bread Italian style, roasted almonds . I don't eat meat and there's no kitchen so go if u want to have an aperitif but not a proper dinner. The staff is friendly and they've got a lot of knowledges

We booked out this amazing shop for the evening to celebrate a birthday. We were a group of 22. Met Pete before to choose the wine and cheese we'd drink/eat on the night. He couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Really fun evening - we're all still talking about it a month on. Can't recommend highly enough.

This place is really great, we buy cheese and meat from here regularly as well as wine which we have a refill bottle. The staff have great knowledge of the wine and produce.

Now Hugo is back in charge, this place has changed. Previously there were managers in who did not care whether they provided things to your taste or not. Hugo cares what he stocks, and looks after his customers properly. He has a great selection of wines, cheeses, bread and other items. Go there, and have fun!

It's good to find Hugo, the knowledgeable manager of this French cheese and wine specialist store, determined to provide quality service as well as Gallic charm. The range and freshness of the cheeses is brilliant and he offers some really uncommon wines. He deserves our appreciation and support!

Absolutely love this place, they've got a great selection of wine, cheese, meats and the staff are super helpful and knowledgable. The type of place where I felt comfortable having no idea about wine and the staff enthusiastically suggesting to me their recommendations. This is the place to go when you are after some fancy yet affordable wine.

This is SUCH a fantastic little shop. The products are so well selected and very well priced. I love this place. Only downside (and its a big one) is its nearly impossible to get helped. I'm a local and try to come here as often...

Knowledgeable staff, excellent wine and cheese selection. Great to pop in for a catch up with a friend, try some wine and take your favourite one home. Also great as a meet up point for friends prior to restaurant bookings.
