I’ve been visiting the Priory Cafe for years, if you like a good bit of banta with your breakfast or lunch then Cathy & Frank are great hosts, this place is down to earth, freshly cooked and a different experience to the more main stream restaurants, it has a very loyal customer base who like the personal friendly atmosphere

Useless opening hours, closed 2 days of the week, and only open until lunchtime other days. Only just better than ab empty shop

Despite living in Ruislip forever we only discovered this little gem at the start of 2022 now a regular haunt. Kathy & Frank have developed a loyal regular clientele which speaks volumes in this day & age . A lovely independent bijou cafe great for breakfast/brunch/lunch or a quick tea stop. A full and comprehensive menu plus daily specials, all reasonably priced & cooked fresh to order & always a warm welcome & great humour from them both. In summer you can sit outside & watch the world go by. Kathy & Frank do all they can to locally source their produce ensuring it is all high quality, nothing precooked & reheated here. Great milkshakes, iced coffees and hot chocolate 🍫 Very definitely worth a visit - great food and customer service from an independent 🍳🍞🥓🥚🥪🍅🥒☕️🧋

We usually have our weekend breakfast at another cafe not too far from here but they were closed for their annual holiday so we moved elsewhere. The Priory is a great cafe and the food is excellent value and good quality the couple that run the business are lovely - especially when your partner knocks her full up mug of coffeee all over the table.......and me!!! ☕️

I have never tried this place before but it has outdoor seating and a comprehensive menu so we decided to give it a go for a sandwich and tea. I had a cheese and onion roll which was quite small but exactly what it said it was - a soft white roll filled with mild cheddar and onion! My friend had a very nice bacon and egg sandwich. The tea was excellent. Prices were very reasonable at £2.80 for my roll, £4 for the sandwich and £1 for a mug of tea.

Feeling peckish and in need of a good cuppa, we popped in and had THE most welcome cup of tea served by such a friendly lady. I had ham, egg and chips which was fresh and delicious. There are obviously regulars who come here and there is such a caring atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Bearing in mind its location, this is an excellent place for a full English on a Sunday morning before hitting the fortnightly food market over the road - and raiding the various stalls and stoking up the National Debt. Excellent fry-up, washed down with copious amounts of fresh tea. Excellent.

This is a tiny cafe near the church in Ruislip and was an unlikely oasis during our walk on a hot day. I wouldn't normally choose to sit by a roundabout but what is normal these days?! There were 3 tables outside and a few in the small cafe. The staff were lovely and friendly and the coffee great. We will return to try more from the menu very soon.

Nice little cafe run by a friendly couple. Located at the end of the high street opposite the duck pond and Ruislip barn where there’s some lovely paths to wander down afterwards and an artisan market once a month. The breakfast is really good value and the quality of the food is great. Keeps us coming back. Look forward to trying some of the lunch options soon.

I recently started working on the High Street and have been experimenting over the last few weeks with different places to grab snacks and hot drinks. I wandered down to the very end of the high street and stumbled across this place. Honestly, the heartiest and most welcoming establishment in all of Ruislip. Delicious food, friendly service and a decent value! Much better off coming to places like this than Wenzel's etc.

Quaint old café, been here for years. A little rough around the edges but serves a good breakfast. An ideal place for a cuppa or a sandwich.

Visited this morning with the missus. The staff are very lovely and welcoming. I was slightly awkward with my breakfast order and the lady was more than accommodating. The breakfast was amazing, most of it is mainly grilled and not fried which is a healthier and tastier alternative in our opinion. All the food quality is top, the sausages are lush. The prices are fair for the portion size and quality of the food and service. The place was immaculately clean. We’ve finally found an amazing cafe. :)

Great breakfasts with proper butchers sausages. REAL hot chocolate not powder. Good coffee. As everything is made fresh daily they sometimes run out of things like yorkshire puddings after lunch, but at least you know its always fresh

Always a pleasure visiting priory cafe, service is above & beyond. Today we ate our breakfast outside & I decided to move out of the sun, to be met seconds later by the owner holding a table umbrella ready to put up for me. Can't fault the food, or the little quirks such as the menu containing hilarious little jokes.

Great little place going down hill, on a cold winters morning I was served breakfast on a freezing cold plate, the bacon and toast were stone cold, the egg was luke warm and the sausage chips and beans were warm, why serve it on a freezing plate, ruined the breakfast. I know they can do better, but this time was a let down.

Over the years I have tried all the cafes in Ruislip, Ruislip Manor, Eastcote and only tried Priory Cafe today. Well I must say in my opinion it serves the best cooked breakfast in the area it may be small but the way the food is cooked is very important to me, it makes an English Breakfast. Keep up the good work I'll be back.

A group of young Mums & myself arrived without much notice. They were excellent with the small children on this Friday lunchtime - organised us a table together & served a tasty meal. Some drinks were free. I enjoyed it so much that I hope to take a group of friends there to start my ?? birthday with breakfast - then on to different things. Staff attentive.

We have visited the Priory Cafe on a couple of occasions as a family for breakfast... The people running the cafe were very welcoming and helped get the young ones settled, providing high chair and rubber ducks to keep them entertained (from the Olympics if I remember correctly). It is a relatively small place for around 16 to 20 seats at most and a few tables outside in addition. The menu is pretty standard cafe list and going off script for combinations was not an issue. The quality of the food was excellent - for instance the sausage was better than you might expect in a standard cafe... Everything well cooked and plenty of it. A tiny bit more expensive than some cafes but worth it

This cafe is by far the best in Ruislip / Ruislip Manor. The owners are the only employees and the customers are treated like friends. This cafe is always worth a visit and never disappointing.

Very chilly, even inside. Service is very friendly and fairly quick considering how busy it was. The coffee and smoothie were delicious. The salad was okay, I think some bits of it were cut too big and there was much too much red onion for my liking.
