Really nice town centre pub; very big garden with plenty of space for bigger groups. Good quick service.

Beh, speravo proprio in qualcosa di più. Il locale è pittoresco, si', ma non molto pulito: i tavoli erano unti al tatto, i servizi igienici poco presentabili... Ci siamo accomodati al tavolo ed abbiamo atteso una decina di minuti prima di accorgerci che la regola era di andare a ordinare alla cassa birre e bevande... Così abbiamo ordinato e solo dopo quasi un'ora di attesa sono arrivate le pietanze. Io ho preso una flat iron steak, buona, con una tazza di chips, non eccezionali, 6 pomodorini Pachino sbollentate e una salsina poco saporita. Mia moglie voleva prendere fish & chips, ma ci hanno detto che non c'era più pesce...cosi' ha scelto un cheese burger, passabile ma non eccezionale. Birra bionda buona e conto: meno di 40 pounds. Esperienza da non ripetere.

Arrived in Cambridge and we were looking for lunch and found this great pub.Staff very helpful and friendly and there was a good atmosphere.Food was reasonable and very nice steak and ale pie.Would eat here again.

Spacious Greene King pub that has a variety of seating areas that get better as you go through to the terrace.

Came here for a Sunday roast with some friends. Considering their chicken (and everything it came with) is so dry and unseasoned, it’s irritating that you have to pay for extra gravy. The garden is nice.

Went in for lunch today with my friend and her daughters. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Generous portions of food with gluten free options.

Excellent value for money menus. Lots of choice for allergies. We had a lovely lunch. Thank you to the lovely landlady and staff. We will back next visit to Cambridge.

Sorry. Had to give one star. We booked a table for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday only to be told after ordering drinks that food would take 90 minutes as a minimum. The pub was fairly busy but the main reason for the delay was apparently a lack of plates 🙄. Not sure what was going on but it really spoilt our day as everywhere else was booked up but we didn't want to wait until nearly 4pm for lunch and had hungry kids/young adults. We ended up in weatherspoons (pretty rubbish but at least they served food!).

A nice pub in the center of Cambridge with live music and a decent amount of things to order on the menu. Coming here with a friend was fun and it deserves a shot if you've got nothing to do in the evening.

Sunday dinner bit of disappointment, no beef,only chicken, and no stuffing,not worth the money, nice cosy pub though.

Made the mistake of going Xmas week, crowed, busy, and nosing. Little staff covering a large bar, only one card machine in sight, whatever was getting dispensed as Beer was anything but 🍺

Great pub,good selection of ales and ciders,food was great we had maple pigs in blankets for starter which was lovely the scampi and chips was also great along with the staff lovely boozer only thing that let it down was the gents toilets right manky could do with a refurb

Nice pub going out of city centre on hills road , just had a drink 6 no food , but it felt relaxed there had some nice music in the background, didn't have food but menu looks good

Visiting Cambridge for the day for a day of filming for a music video, served predominantly by Maya behind the bar, recommended the best deals for us with our order, which will continue to bring people back through the doors! Her customer service is second to none, smiling and friendly serious top level! Highly recommended place for local or visiting people alike! We didn’t order food but it looked like service was super efficient and flowed well with great communication between all the staff that have been on shift during both visits today (12:30 - 1:30pm and 19:00 - 20:00) . Venue itself is great with a fabulously decorated exterior seating area outside too! Cleanliness throughout is great, Definitely be back if ever in the area!

Visited prince regent earlier! Was 10/10, had the Mac and cheese made by Tyler and it was luscious ♥️♥️ coming back to Cambridge soon just to revisit ! Was served by Hope, she’s certainly got the chat and lovely doesn’t cut it, very welcoming x

I had a very nice beer at this place. What I really don't like about this place is that it is always quite noisy and every time I want to taste the food they already have the kitchen closed 🤷. If at some point I try something I will update this post

Nice place to hang - not so much crowded as other pubs in Cambridge. Nice area both inside and outside. I was there on my birthday on October 9th - the waitress, Hora I guess, was great - very thoughtful and all the time was asking if everything okay. Great drinks and nachos from Tyler. Love ❤️

Great pub with greater food. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. The seating is rather comfy with some outdoors spots being the same. Recommend if you're out with friends looking for a nice spot for drinks and food

Great ambiance, excellent food. We did have 1 issue with the food but it was quickly resolved by the manager who was, helpful, professional and attentive. We highly recommend this venue when you visit the City District of Cambridge.

Amazing find while in Cambridge with business. Really welcoming staff, very relaxing chic garden, great food - totally unlike a normal chain pub, tasty, full flavour & a welcome change. Highly recommend & reasonably priced. Will be back during next visit.

I like this place, it is a very average pub and they do not have everything on the menu. But it is spacious and has some nice games. I will come back.

Security guards and some staff are rude and egotistical. Kicking people out for no reason. Needs new staff.

Nice quiet pub to relax in to have a drink. Didn't eat, so I can't judge the food. It did look nice looking at other people's plates. Nice rear garden to sit outside in the sun.

Unable to review food or atmosphere as we didn’t even get to sit down. We booked online, noting that the form asked for numbers of adults and children in our party. The salient point is that our 7.15 booking WAS ACCEPTED, only for us to be turned away on arrival (on time) on the basis that our food wouldn’t be ready in time for the 8.00 pm “adults only” deadline. While I accept that licence conditions apply, it would be helpful if the online booking form made it clear that children are not allowed after 8pm.

This is a very cool pub, a little out of if the center of Cambridge. I ate here three times which is an obvious sign of satisfaction. It offers a good selection of beers, wines, etc. Nice decor, spacious indoors, with a nice garden. Friendly atmosphere.

Great place for Saturday evening drinks. Lovely garden area as well. Drinks were served quickly and staff were all pleasant. Backs on to parker piece so central location as well.

The pub has a very pleasant atmosphere and the waiters are very friendly. Be careful not to come too late, as you may miss out on certain dishes such as garlic bread or fish and chips. And the cheese and bacon bruger really worth the visit.

I actually don't mind the Prince Regent for a beer in the garden BUT I am reviewing on the premise that I think bad service should be recognised. Yesterday the pub was closed due to a private event, fully recognise that these things happen and completely understand. We had a nice chat with the door man who explained that the pub was closed due to the event and was recommending some alternatives. A young lady then proceeded to join the door man, immediately with her back up telling us that it's an important VIP private event and we need to move on. There was simply no need to be so aggressive, entirely power hungry and quite frankly embarrassing.

Very nice steak. Richard in flavour. Would definitely recommend it.

I always used to come to this pub but now I will refuse to and when I ask for my money back they just keep ignoring me I mean its not everyday you ended up paying for some random person stuff snd then they have they cheek to try and charge me again and then I had to pay like three times yet im still wating on that money they supposedly put back in my account day 6 still nothing shame on this pub big let down

We had our first visit to The Prince Regent last weekend and called in for some drinks. This is a great pub in a lovely area of Cambridge and has a good choice of drinks and efficient staff. It has a huge beer garden with lots of seating under cover or no cover and a great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and service but the food is so bad. Maybe I’m biased because I’m not English but if this was anywhere besides Cambridge this restaurant would not be in business.

Joe and Ben and Pete were absolutely phenomenal. The night I attended, the staff were spoken to horrifically by some middle aged individuals who started a fight in a bar. Today I returned to the pub and had a great time. Great customer service all round! Will come again :)

Okay folks, a bias about this pub. I had the pleasure of being head doorman her for nearly a year. Landlord and staff lovely. Customers loved the food and rated the service highly. The pub, indoors a bit small but large beer garden. I'm still on doors in Cambridge and am certain that the landlord, Matt, won't let standards slip.

Fun 'young person's' pub. The service was a bit slow and a staff were clearly a little frazzled after a long hot day, but they were friendly, and the beer was good, with a wide choice.

Had the best service with Joe, he was so friendly and warming he also recommended us drinks to try. I hope to see him again. Thank you Joe for making our night.
