My absolute favourite pub. Very friendly staff and patrons. Lovely little place, always great ales!

Great beers, good place for a chat. Now with space outside which is ideal for summer evenings. Also serving a wide range of ciders.

This is a lovely friendly micro pub in Rainham high street. If you like real beer then this is the place to go. They normally have four real ales on and also a few ciders to choose from. They do also serve two or three wines but this is primarily for those who dislike real ale. They now do a whisky, vodka and a rum. Price for a pint around £4. They serve snack such as crisps and nuts but apart from that no food. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic choice of ales, didn't eat there.

I had been wanting to visit here for a while and it did not disappoint. The ales and cider were excellent and it was great to try something different from all the generic offerings that can be found in Rainham. I really liked that you could hold a conversation without loud music, wall to wall wide screen TV's and mobile phones going off every second! The service was friendly. I will return and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

For a new Ale drinker. Not bad, I shall return. And never had a still cider which was pretty good.

Proper high street micropub with a wide range of drinks and a friendly welcome. If I lived in Rainham, I would spend a lot of time here. Good range of beer styles on cask.

Awful elitist pub. Regular visitor of micro pubs and craft breweries- but never felt more unwelcome than I did here. Avoid.

James was an absolute pleasure. Honestly the best passion fruit martini I’ve had in a while! I want to extend my thanks for a fantastic night out , all because of the smashing drinks James made for us! Also love his pink hat!

Randomly ended up here on a Saturday night after a meal at the Chinese. Lovely pub, banging cider, great locals and small enough to have good chat with all. Looking forward to visiting this cozy hotspot again!

Cracking micro pub. Never been disappointed with the variety of beers. Served just right with a very welcoming atmosphere. If I had more time I'd be there more often.

Good selection of ales in a friendly environment. We only intended on having a swift half before going to the restaurant but we ended up staying for a couple of hours! Worth a visit.

Good micro in Rainham high street, lots of local Kent brews. Keenly priced to compete with close by craft union pub and soon to be spoons at the Railway. Please use this micro to keep access to diverse decent locally produced beers and cider

excellent micro brewery, ordered the cappuccino ale at 4.5 ABV and didn't want to leave, clean toilets, very friendly atmosphere, friendly landlord, will be going back, sorry no pics.

Second time I've been to a Micro Pub. 3 Ales available Wednesday evening which was ample, nice people and nice "landlord". I'll be back.

Really different, great beers, friendly service. No bar, served at your seat! Strongly recommend. Would give it a five stars but although excellent, the choice of ales is limited to just 3.

This is what a micropub should be like: great beers, no kids, no idiots, a lovely selection of regulars, run by a motley crew of wonderfully curmudgeonly great geezers. I love the place!
