Primal Roast in Glasgow City

Primal Roast es una pequeña cafetería ubicada justo al lado de King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, y después de escuchar cosas excelentes al respecto durante años, finalmente me encontré en el área una mañana que pude tener la oportunidad de visitar. Excelente café y bueno para obtener un desayuno caliente (sus Brekkie Baps están recién preparados y realmente sabrosos que te mantendrán lleno para el resto) y algunos dulces horneados. No están mal los precios y el personal es muy amable y hablará contigo mientras esperas tu pedido. Sin duda, mi nueva cafetería favorita en el centro de la ciudad.

Esta fue nuestra primera parada después de registrarnos en un hotel a la vuelta de la esquina. El café era bueno, al igual que el pastel y la envoltura. El personal fue muy servicial y me recomendó un excelente lugar para comer anoche (Nota 13). Definitivamente lo recomendaría.

La primera vez en Primal Roast se reunió con un amigo, un excelente café y un ambiente excelente, una gran selección de pasteles y un ambiente relajante. Gema oculta.

Parecía interesante y estaba cerca de nuestro hotel. . . ¡Qué linda sorpresa! Desayuno cocinado además de dulces y café fantástico. Buenas vibraciones saludables en el lugar.

El interior de la cafetería es espacioso, es un lugar excelente para tomar un café y leer un libro; es bastante tranquilo. Como han mencionado otros internautas, el café es excelente. En cuanto a la comida, encontré opciones veganas limitadas y porciones relativamente pequeñas. Tuve un cuenco de buda con fruta de Jack - los ingredientes eran frescos, el servicio fue rápido, pero ciertamente no me llenó. La adición de tofu al menú sería bienvenida. En general, el servicio no fue entusiasta / particularmente amable pero no tengo ninguna queja. Fue educado y nos preguntaron si todo estaba bien con nuestra comida. ¡Ah, y los pasteles se ven impresionantes! El veredicto: sin duda volveremos por otro café, pero no volveremos rápidamente a comer.

A really nice little place for a coffee and a bite to eat, would definitely recommend again. Staff were friendly, food was good and what more do you need.

I visit Primal Roast regularly, mainly for their amazing coffee but also occasionally for their absolutely delicious cakes (chocolate pecan cup is not to be missed!). I’ve also had lunch in (large seating area through the back) and it was delicious with lots of tasty and healthy options. The staff are lovely and friendly, and always make sure you get latte art even in takeaway cups! They use bio degradable takeaway cups and if you bring your own reusable cup you get a wee discount. They also do a loyalty card. Real gem of a cafe with lots of character, amazing coffee and delicious food. :)

I love the coffee from this wee place. The staff are really friendly and happy to accommodate. No one is in much of a rush really, so either be prepared to relax for a while, or ask politely and - in my experience - the staff can usually help out with a quicker coffee order. Food is good, but I'd say it's pretty expensive.

Had breakfast here three times on our visit as it was close to our hotel Hilton Glasgow. They have vegan options!!! Soy latte is good. Only thing I’d recommend is adding a bit more spice to breakfast. I’d love a tofu scramble.

Lovely coffee shop would really like to return and try the food it looked amazing and great variety!

Welcomed by a very friendly Lawrence on arrival who explained the menu on request. Had the pork shoulder spicy Buddha bowl which was delicious. Accompanied by an excellent cappuccino. Never been before, will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The food was good and my gluten free raw banoffee pie was really tasty. However, the place lacks atmosphere!

I've worked nearby for years and never been into this place until this morning when a work collegue recommended the coffee. Wow, i was not disappointed. The only minor thing i will ask for on Monday when i visit again is a hotter coffee but thats just me liking it very hot! I might have to sneak a cake in too as these looked scrummy. Only negative point is the impact on my wallet as i will now be buying my coffee every morning before work instead of making do with instant at work!! Really friendly staff too i cant wait to go back.

Rather than eat the boring breakfast at the hotel, I decided to head out for breakfast and found primal roast. The dining area is tiny, just 3 small tables and a settee, and the Sweet Potato Hash was sensational.

Quality of food The food is based around a concept of clean eating and it does this very well with great quality clean foods prepared by the chef. The food is very tasty and every time I have been there, I have never been disappointed, beyond my expectations. Comfort The location brings a friendly warm mood when on arrival, you then have a choice of sitting in front or through the back where you will find comfy couches with some low/chill music, very inviting, great for just relaxing, chatting and if the notion takes and if a student, a great place to study/reading. Staff All staff are warm and friendly, on many occasions welcoming you in to there eatery. Quick taking of coffee and or food orders. And then food delivered very quickly, fresh and hearty. The food is presented very clean and professional. Quality of coffee The coffee is outstanding, if you are looking for a very nice “real” coffee, then this is the place for you, what more can I say, outstanding coffee, the bean used is very tasty and presented well. Friendly The staff are friendly and very welcoming, this adds to the relaxed and calming atmosphere. The staff are very accommodating, dog friendly and very much a family atmosphere.

Myself and partner come here for brunch every week and it never disappoints! The service is awesome! Food is amazing! Coffee is the business and don’t even get me started on the cakes!!! 🙈 couldn’t recommend it highly enough!!!
