Prezzo - Lymington in New Forest

“Best restaurant ever” according to my 11 year old. My 13 year old had a second order of pasta he loved it so much. We had an amazing pizza and sharing board. Two great pints, all food was excellent. Even better the 20% discount. A good find for a very Hungry family. Clean plates all round.

A quiet Friday afternoon, we enjoyed delicious pasta and starters. Waiter was attentive and I would return.

Lovely meal and Emily was a lovely, helpful waitress.

Delicious meal (beef ravioli) served by a lovely waitress named Emily. I challenged her to rock paper scissors and then also won a free desert. Desert of choice was of course the chocolate cake which was divineee!! I wanted to return immediately!

We have been going to Prezzo for years as a family, and have recently found Lymington to be our new favourite since Lyndhurst closed. Last night we celebrated our daughter's 11th birthday and had the loveliest waitresses Maisy and Ananeina (so sorry if that's not spelt correctly). Both were so genuinely friendly, really engaged with both children. It felt effortless. They both made the evening that more special and we are very grateful. Food excellent as always, but the service was exceptional. Thank you xx

Have not visited for a while. Was delighted to see "Andreina", who used to work at another branch of Prezzo. Service, food and atmosphere great. Will definitely visit again.

Experienced a lovely meal and very good service. Food generally is quite expensive but we were lucky enough to get a discount voucher and food was very good and excellent choice of food.

We went there to have lunch before anything, Andreina, our lovely waitress greeted us with big smile & wearing that smile all the way, of course, back to our foods, two courses including tomato soups, carbonara & pizza, they were excellent!!! We'll surely come back next time with friends again, great choice.

Having done the extensive Saturday market and the marvellous independent shops we were ready for lunch so Prezzo fit the bill. We were warmly welcomed and shown a table in the smart front dining room. Both the food and drinks menus have extensive choices at various prices, and for lunch we chose the Lasagne with a side salad and cheesy garlic bread. It was all well-presented and delicious. Service was perfectly paced and the waiting staff were friendly and professional. Good work Prezzo, we will come here again.

First class visit as always. Our lady lunchtime server was excellent. She was helpful,knowledgeable and good sense of humour, she had to be to put with me. Spaghetti carbonara and bolognaise was great and so were the dough twist with the truffle mayo

Another good experience at this eatery. Service was good and we received our food within a reasonable time and we were all served at once. Staff pleasant and helpful. We ate early about 4pm so it was quiet and obviously not much atmosphere.

Food was good as always despite it taking a while to come out roughly 45 minutes however service was very understanding and did the most they could which was better our experience. Our waitors name was elliot and he wasveru friendly

Food was delicious as always, however we arrived at 6:15pm. Our starter was out at 6:45 which was perfect and then we had to wait until 8pm for our main meal, which we both had a pizza. When we asked the waiter what was going in he said kept saying it was on its away and that they were busy. Which we would have understood however we were only ones there before everyone else came in, meaning we ordered before everyone else so our meal should have been our first right? Well the table next to us came in after us ate and left by the time we had a main meal! We were happy to pay for what we had a left but they kept saying it will be a couple of minuets. Unfortunately this happened to us another time a couple of months ago sat at the same table which is just unfortunate lol. Both times they gave us a glass of wine on the house but we then had to cancel our plans afterwards and rearrange!

Absolutely awful experience. We went as it was my birthday and had a voucher. We were the only people in the restaurant, therefore no atmosphere.and consequently the only member of staff was chatting to two friends at the bar and we were forgotten. I had to get up and ask for the water we had ordered and to tell we had finished our starter. The main course was wrong. I got a small luke warm bowl of pasta I cook better at home. We were so disappointed I got up and left. Complete waste of money and dissapointing birthday.

We always love a trip to Prezzo. Consistent, reliable and tasty food. Haven’t been for a while as our local has closed down. But reminded me how good it is !

Nice place but the orders were totally messed up. I have an allergy and was given cheese, my pal is vegetarian but was given meat in their calzone. Staff were super apologetic but we then had to wait AGES for our food to come. People around us were actually making jokes and feeling sorry for us. The staff knocked some off the bill but we were past hungry by the time the food came and it didn’t really help. Maybe (unlikely) will try again, but if so will be vigilant about what arrives.

Enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. They have an extensive gluten free menu for starters and mains however only one gluten free option for pudding also no gluten free lager. Will return ,nice surroundings , friendly atmosphere, good food.

We visited on a Tuesday evening which we thought would be quiet but actually was very busy. Our waitress offered us a table in the quieter back area which was perfect. We both wanted to eat healthily and there were plenty of options. The service was brilliant- both the waiter and waitress were attentive and prompt and the food was excellent - particularly good value given we had a voucher. Would definitely revisit.

An absolutely amazing experience all around. Food was amazing, great atmosphere and delicious drinks, but the definite focal point was the service. Thank you so so much to Camilla and Joe for accomodating us and squeezing us in for comedy night. We didn't mention this as we didn't want to come across as pushy or entitled but my partner and I were actually in Lymington for my birthday, and our original plans had to be cancelled due to the rain. My partner, bless him, spent hours trying to find a way to celebrate with me and found the comedy night at Prezzo. Long story short, an extra table was set up for us eventhough the show was sold out and we were a (very) last minute reservation. To top it all off, when we arrived they were both nothing but friendly and extremely kind. Seriously, thank you guys for making my birthday so special. We had an amazing time and whenever we find ourselves in Lymington again, we'll definitely be back.

We booked a table for early dinner to include two school age young grandchildren. I briefly visited the restaurant the day before we were due to eat there to see if I could choose a suitable table for the six of us particularly as my wife needs to sit on softer seats due to a medical condition. I was met by Robyn who patiently listened to my needs and then took me through the restaurant so that I could point out a couple of tables that would help the evening run smoothly. She pointed out the table that she intended to reserve for us and sure enough, it was ready for us the next day as promised. We all had a wonderful meal even although we had all chosen different items from the menu. Despite the restaurant being busy, each course seemed to be delivered at just the right time and the main courses were piping hot. We were served as a family and none of us was kept waiting. I had ordered a spicy chicken pasta dish (sorry, but I cannot remember the name of it!). However it was excellent with tender chicken and a generous portion. We all commented that there seemed to be a happy but very efficient team working throughout the restaurant and Robyn checked in with us every now and again. Next time we visit Lymington, we will definitely have another meal in Prezzo.

We had an excellent dinner. The service was prompt and the food was as expected, tasty! Our waitress Elizabeth was attentive and prompt with drinks and food. We are staying in the area for the bank holiday and have tried a few local restaurants and cafes, Elizabeth is the best waitress so far. Incredibly pleasant and hard working! Thank you for making our family supper experience so good. Your attentive nature and efforts were noticed.

We had lunch. The food was hot and tasty and the drinks were nice and cold. The service however was very slow. This was mainly due to only two servers being available on a busy lunchtime.

Clearly times are hard. Profit above service. Poor service from over-worked staff. Pizzas are fine, kitchen staff seem to know how to cook a pizza. Front of house don’t seem to understand how to run a restaurant.

Food was absolutely disgusting Please dont waste your hard earned money .. Had better frozen pizza than what was served but my grandaughter ate she was hungry .. Oak smoked salmon rigatoni what salmon difficult to find any in the sloppy bland sauce . Saltimbocca chicken well what can I say chicken was tough dry slow roasted potato a soggy mess and overdone watery cabbage in some sort of sauce ..ate three or four mouth fulls the taste was vile and the meal just looked unappealing .we did express our disappointment to the waiter who took our plates of uneaten food away . We got 25%discount not much compensation when you leave a restaurant starving and having to look elsewhere for food after wasting nearly £70 after the discount Will not be going back or ever recommending

I would really like to praise the staff at Prezzo Lymington. Two of my friends and I were there yesterday with our three four-year-olds. They were very over-excited and therefore noisy, we did create utter chaos! Every single member of staff was absolutely lovely. They gave them crayons and felt tips to colour with, pointed us in the direction of the garden so we could let them charge about in between courses! None of us were made to feel uncomfortable or that we were a nuisance because of our excited children! We did apologise but one young man replied that he also works in a kids club so he is used to this x30! We were so impressed and will definitely be back. Also - food was lovely! Thank you so much.

Eventually got welcomed in and taken to a table given a menu.Then a very long wait for our order to be taken. Eventually a sharing plater came ,which was as the word sharing was insinuating not that much at all for one ok not two.Marks and Spencer do a better one for two to share for less money.Then our drinks came with an apology for the length it took for them to arrive.Eventually our mains came what a disappointment, canalloni stuck to the bottom of the dish where it had been over cooked,it was very hot a good thing.Orzo salad said three layers of delicious things,it came all mixed in together,shame.Drinks strawberry lemonade had so much ice I couldn't taste the lemonade no strawberry, just a concentrate added. It was expensive for the small amount of food served and the service not that good. Did I feel that I was important to them the answer no comes to mind.

Me and my 2 friends throughly enjoyed lunch here today. The food was tasty and fresh (I highly recommend the Rigatoni Alla Rusticana and the sticky toffee pudding for desert ) The service by Robyn was excellent !! She makes this prezzo in lymington have a lovely atmosphere. Shes always so welcoming and kind and does a brilliant job. We will be coming back again :)

Came here for a Saturday lunch, the large restaurant was fairly quiet. A Good menu with lots of choice. The pizza was good. The dessert was amazing, Lemon meringue pie 😀 service here was efficient. Overall very impressed with my first visit to a Prezzo.

It's a prezzo so average , as they have opted for cashless I will not return to this dystopian brand and will support an independent that will not restrict how I pay ! 😡

Oh dear, Nothing has improved since my last visit a couple of years ago. How this place keeps going I don't know. Saturday afternoon visit, place was empty and one member of staff. Suddenly a few customers arrived and the poor single member of staff was overwhelmed. The food was average, a tin of Neck oil £6.75!!!!!! How? Why? Prezzo's use to be brilliant, now it's a former shadow of itself. Poor menu , poorly presented and very very expensive food and drink. Wake up before it's too late. Did I complain...no, the poor member of staff was at her wits end. Would I visit again.....no! You have been warned, be prepared to pay big bucks for average grub.

The servers were quite nice however my order did arrive to the table incorrect, but they happily replaced it and did so very fast. I had the chicken burger and it did come slightly chewy and under cooked, along with some undercooked chips too. The meal was okay but definitely not worth the money.

Walking into the restaurant and asking for a table for 5 people seemed to be an inconvenience for the member of staff greeting us. We were seated at the back of the restaurant in a function room with no lights on and nobody else around, we were then offered a table at the front of the restaurant which we accepted. Then it went something like this- *Ignored for 20 mins until someone took our drink and food order. *15 mins for drinks to arrive, one of which was a jug of tap water. *20 mins for our garlic bread starter to turn up *35 mins for our mains to arrive, 2 of which were wrong. Not a single member of staff acknowledged us to be able to resolve the issue. *40 mins after the food arrived, a member of staff asked how our dinners were, to be fair this member of staff couldn't have been more helpful. He did as much as possible to help us out. *kids dessert ordered, advised it would be 5 mins, 20 mins later still no desert. Supervisor couldn't be at all bothered about our poor experience, begrudgingly took one pizza of our bill, this was despite the helpful member of staff admitting there was an issue with the new menus. The restaurant wasn't at all busy and several other tables had slow service and issues with food they complained about.

Very disappointing overall with cost and appearance, the only positive was the young lady that served us and although she did try to placate us, our minds had already been made up. You only get one chance to make a first impression and Prezzo somewhat failed. I had Chicken Caesar Salad, I should have read the small print as it was a few leaves of shredded lettuce with a chicken breast sat on this with the dressing, I can not deny it tasted nice but the price point was terrible, I would have though 1/3rd of the price would have been more sensible, my wife had the gluten free vegetarian pomadoro pasta, no sauce, the pasta appeared dried out and there was no sauce whatsoever, the taste was OK but again, a poor price. We didn’t even bother looking at the desert menu, such was our dissatisfaction. We will not be visiting Prezzo again, save your money and spend it in Zizzi’s,

Excellent service and food. Staff were great, atmosphere was buzzing and the food was awesome. Authentic chef's too which topped it for us.

A lovely location and restaurant where the staff are friendly and helpful. Though it felt like they were a bit stretched when we went. A mediocre and disappointing pizza that arrived somewhat cold. I would go back if there was nowhere else to get food and if I was too hungry to cook.

Lymington Prezzo is always welcoming, we eat in quite often. Tilly served us and she was brilliant! Food is very good, atmosphere is very good and service is excellent 👍🏻 thanks Tilly - I hope Prezzo realise what an asset you are to have.

Popped in for a simple supper during our stay in Lymmington. Very tasty crab and chilli pasta dish, nicely dressed salad and a heart meaty lasagna. Decent wine and great service. Perfect. Marked down one just because one course was a little late but it was put right very quickly.

Really nice Italian food and pleasant atmosphere-very friendly staff Dessert was a treat! We will be back!!

The wine was nice and the staff were friendly enough, but the food was mediocre at best. We gave them the benefit of the doubt with our starters, but my husband's main course pasta dish was tasteless and dry, and whilst my seabass was ok, the pile of limp rocket and bone dry olives on the side of the plate was off-putting. In fairness they did take £10 off the bill without us asking for any reduction, but they've got to up their game to attract diners now that the Tesco clubcard voucher scheme isn't so generous. Come on Lymington - you can do better than this !

If you love a family friendly environment this is the place for you! The staff are so friendly and take good care of you. The food was extremely tasty and good enough portion. Had a magenta pizza and it was very filling and really well cooked and made. Will definitely go here again !!

We opted to stay overnight within walking distance of the restaurant earlier this week and decided to give it a try, primarily because my wife has a Blue Light card, which they accept for a 20 percent discount. However, I must clarify that this wasn't the deciding factor. The restaurant's location in the heart of the high street was delightful. The staff were very attentive, and the food was excellent. Considering the quality of the food and ingredients, it offered great value for money. The house wine was delightful, and they had a good selection of beers. Portion sizes were slightly larger than average, which was certainly a positive. I look forward to returning in the future to sample more of their dishes.

Very expensive for what it is. I would not go to a Prezzo without an offer/discount. I had a chicken, bacon & avocado salad which was just over £15. It was not big (predominantly lettace) & I had to search for the bacon pieces which were very few & minscule. Even with our voucher I would say it was still over priced (20%). The kids meal is set at 3 courses @ £7.95 which sounds like a good offer. My child had the bolognese which was a bowl of pasta with a sprinkle of beef bolognese on it (picture attached)! I found this disappointing. Cafes that were scattered elsewhere in Lymington serve similar salads for £8-£10 (much cheaper). The service was very good & everything was very clean. Food tasted nice, just disappointing on lack of meat served & bread given as a cheap filler because portions are quite small with salads. Also toilets, the doors jam on inside & they open inwards. There is no handle on inside, you have to pull the door lock to open which is a very small smooth piece of metal which you can't grip. So my point is not to let young children go in toilets/ cubicle on their own as they may get stuck.

Really looking forward to a good pasta dish. It arrived luke warm in a cold dish, sent it back, waitress came back with dish after being heated, still luke warm. Not at all impressed, restaurant was not overly busy whilst I was dining. Will not be revisiting.

Please beware when using Blue Light Card at this restaurant. We informed the waitress before we sat down and ate. She brought the bill out before blue light discount was taken off. We asked for another bill but they agreed to credit my bank card with the discount. However, instead of crediting, they debited instead meaning I had paid a lot more for my meal. I put in a complaint and I only got the money debited and no discount. It took over a week to get my money back. I have put in a further complaint and have had no reply from Prezzo.

We walked in here on the first week of the year, very windy day, & decided to have brunch here to scape the weather, sat down first table, & order very quickly, order clasic muchroom bruscetta, but came out muchroom pizza, & smokd salmon mash, & for the main course, we order fizza & chicken dish, the chicken it's so dry, but atlist the pizza looks better & edible.

This restaurant was great. We came here on a Friday afternoon. The staff were very friendly. The food was also delicious. I’d particularly recommend the crab spaghetti for main and the cheesecake for dessert. I would come back here.

We had our booking for 10:00 pm on a very rainy Friday night after arriving from the airport. The restaurant was empty because of the weather and about to close, but the manager was incredibly kind and gave us great service despite our late reservation. Food came straight away and it was a very warm welcoming to Lymington. Thanks to the manager for his kindness!

Such an unprofessional outfit. Booked a table for 18 people and secured with credit card details. Received a confirmation and updated my party. 3 weeks go by and I receive an email to say ‘sorry now no availability’. Have since called 3 times, each time selected option to speak with a colleague & was put on hold , then directed to an automated booking system so couldn’t speak with anyone. What terrible customer service. Prezzo since contacted me and explained that there has been an issue with their booking system and in fact my reservation is not cancelled at all. Fair enough and they got back to me quickly to resolve the problem.

Lovely staff, but food was over priced (as was the water.) There was zero atmosphere too - although it was lunchtime on a Tuesday.

We sat out in the courtyard as had a dog with us and it was pouring with rain. I am writing this review because we were all particularly impressed by Tilly, our waitress. She was very attentive, even though she had to come out in the rain each time. We have been to lots of places round here with a mix of service bit Tilly was excellent, thank you.

It had been quite some time since I’d visited a Prezzo, as there isn’t one near me at home. I was impressed by the range of the menu and the service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our meal.

Expensive for the amount and quality, soft drinks at least £4 and alcohol£6 or £7 ...toppings on pizza not a lot...poor value for money.

We are local and not been since the Covis days when it was a bit spartan but thought we would try it for a casual meal this evening. I was please with the pleasant and helpful staff and my lasagne was really good and my wife enjoyed her ravioli. We will add it to out eating places in Lymington.

Great but I had a problem with my beef meal so had to get it replaced unfortunately.

We ate here back in August 2022 for dinner. We booked in advance and had Tesco vouchers. We had pepperoni pizza, chicken pasta and a child's burger followed by a banana, cheesecake and a very melted sundae. It was all OK, but they were very slow at bringing the desserts out.

Simply ok. A little overpriced on food, drinks very much so. £4.25 for a small bottle of Pepsi and £17 average for a very basic pasta dish with no accompaniments. Area to back of restaurant echoes and so is very noisy, with brick wall to view through windows. Table wobbly, so not higher end as prices suggest. Food was Ok, but basic without adding another £12 for sides. Extravagant names and descriptions, for essentially average pasta and pizza.

Had a wonderful experience at prezzo Lymington. Customer service from Emily was 10/10. The food was tasty and the best spaghetti I have had. The whole family including the children finished everything on their plates, which is usually rare for us. Would most defo come again. Thank you Emily for making it so enjoyable.

Never in my life have I been told to pass down all the plates. And then you diabolically charge £17 for service charge! Lemonade was £4 each and didn’t fill half the glass. Waitress had no manners or service skills. Food was tasty but entire experience by atrocious service.

The food was served to us quickly and hot. Our server Briony was excellent and the food tasted delicious. We will definitely be going back.

Reliable and super family friendly. We love visiting Prezzo for an early, yummy dinner with our son. The staff are so helpful and the food is always good (we particularly love the hummus and pita, olives, salad and vegan pizza choices). Would absolutely recommend.

Firstly Briony our waitress was really good. She knew everything on the menu including all of the drinks. She was excellent. Secondly the food was pretty good. There are very few choices for vegans so we usually have the same things spaghetti bolognaise is lentil based and it’s good but could do with a little more flavour. The vegan pizza again is okay but could be better, put some veg on top like mushrooms, olives etc. the mixed salad is really just lettuce and again it was okay nice and fresh but adding more tomatoes, maybe some onion, sweet red pepper, avocado etc would make it a true mixed salad and more tasty. Chips looked good and normal pizzas looked okay too. So overall waitress 10/10 food 7/10.

I visited the Prezzo in Lymington with my 7 year old daughter, for an evening meal. From start to finish, the experience was perfect. The staff were amazing, friendly and my chatted to my daughter, which she loved. The food was delicious, and served swiftly between each course. Can't fault a thing. Definitely will be visiting again.

£7.45 a beer??? Such a joke. Charged for drinks we didn’t order. Ridiculous prices. Will not be going back. Could have eaten at a nice post restaurant for less. Really disappointed

Lovely meal at Prezzo at the end of our stay in the New Forest. Lucky to get a table on half term, Friday night walk in. We were at the back of the restaurant, best place to put a family of 5 with young kids. It was busy but the food was cooked well and the service was attentive. A nice way to finish the holiday.

Service was swift, meals were tasty. They check if you have any dietary requirements. We used our tesco vouchers with no problem. Be aware they soon go down to only twice the value when exchanging.
