We had a lovely time for my sons birthday unfortunately one meal came with ham accidentally sprinkled on top for a halal person

No particular comment at this time.

Food took ages to come. The waitress was lovely and very apologetic. Food was average.

Prezzo what can I say never experienced the restaurant before tried lots of others but we we’re heading to a show in York which I know most places there and we timed it right to a time to park so looked on our taste card app and hey prezzo there was the first restaurant looks great let’s try this before the show we entered the front of the restaurant and no one in nice gentleman at the bar area asked if they were open certainly he replied let me show you to your preferred seating doesn’t get busy for another hour he informed us which I’m guessing was a great benefit to us for getting served quickly drinks arrived and after a few minutes of chatting our meal arrived the chicken garlic pasta dish was steaming hot could smell the aroma drifting across us the house fries salted were divine the pasta was tasty creamy seasoned to perfection the portions were very good eventually we finished our meal divine dining exceptional service will definitely visit again and a big thank you to Benjamin our table waiter

Popped in for lunch. Restuarant was half full and we were seated very quickly. Food and drinks order taken as soon as we were ready. Food was very good ( as usual) and service was great.

If you have 30 minutes of your life to waste try this place. Nice welcome for sure but then we waited and waited and waited, even after asking for service nothing changed. Can’t vote on the food as we didn’t see any.

Sally is awesome and looked after us. Sat outside in the sun and had an unreal burger. Bit pricey but fair with blue light discount. 10/10 would get garlic fries again

We went for the Monday 99p experience, well who wouldn’t. Limited choice of pasta or pizza but something for meat eaters and vegetarians. I chose the goats cheese pizza and yes I don’t think there was as much filling as usual but the pizza was good and a side salad was ample. Love the offers at this place and it always provides good food with a great atmosphere.

Pizza crust was very good, but sauce was somewhat bland. I don’t get why you pour honey over pizza, but personally, I don’t like it. The servers did an excellent job, especially considering how busy it was. However, I don’t understand why it was forbidden to have a salad as a starter.

The meal was lovely, very well prepared and presented. The service was exceptional working as a team and was all very attentive.

What a fabulous offer. Food was delicious but for us it was the service that made our evening. We were served by a fantastic waitress called Sarah despite being so busy she always had time for a smile and a chat whilst still working . She had worked a long day but was still smiling with hours left on her shift . In the hour we were there many people came through the restaurant and she was rushed off her feet but nothing was to much trouble . Amazing service

Excellent service by new staff member, had to wait a while for bill once staff changed over. Food - One of our pizzas was over cooked, charred. Toilets - not great- mixed sex, water on floor, they smelled terrible.

Unfortunately this was not a great experience this time, we ate here last Saturday and we could not have recommend it highly enough , I had spaghetti carbonara with chicken and my wife had chicken bacon and avocado salad which was delicious. However this week I ordered the granda cheese burger and unfortunately it was just a couple of pieces of burger on a roll with a bit of cheese sauce over it @£15 It looked so disappointing there was no lettuce ,tomatoe it did not even come with fries they were an extra £4.90 as did any other sides , surely at £15 you could add slaw and salad. My wife ordered chicken milanese which came with fries and rocket unfortunately the chicken was dry and chewy . If we had more time we would have sent everything back. This was so disappointing.

Amazing service, amazing food! Despite it being a bustling Friday night and us coming on a whim, our food and drinks came out fast, hot and with a smile! Special well done to Sarah on her first day, hospitality is hard work and all the staff were great! Would recommend and definitely would come again!

Me and some friends went for a meal before seeing a film and we allotted 1 hour for food. Once seated no one came to take our order for 20 mins and once we did order one of our drinks wasn’t brought to the table. We ended up with only 10 minutes to eat our food which was a rush and we were late to our film.

A lovely space to spend time with friends and family, came with my two children before a cinema trip, team very really helpful and polite.

Enjoyed my bottomless Prosecco! They made sure the drinks were flowing. Very happy with the service, considering it was a bank hol! All staff were attentive and lovely!

I love it here. I've been a couple of times now and will definitely be going again. Lovely food, friendly staff. We noticed many regular customers too. Always a good sign.

Food and service was brilliant, value was made better by having a 50% off voucher. When the restaurant was full, it was quite noisy, but it was school holidays.

Terrible is the only word for it. All staff sat on break and hike all tables filled with dirty pots. Bar covered in dirty trays. No one asked us if our food was ok. No heat lamp for food it is just sat on the side going cold. Our food was stone cold. We timed how long our food was there before they brought it and it was 4.5 minutes. Terrible!!! £57 in total and was terrible.

Reasonable food. Childs pizza was mostly crust with no topping. Quick initial service for drinks etc. difficult to get attention if very busy staff to get the bill.

Our waitress was fantastic! I believe that her name was Ellie and she deserves a raise! The service was amazing and our drinks and food came within 10 minutes! AMAZING!

We went after work today and it was amazing, the service was incredible, the food was great and the whole atmosphere and experience of the restaurant was really lovely. A special highlight to Sally for being so kind and helpful!

Started coming regularly and every single time service and food have been phenomenal.

The staff were amazing and the food was delicious! We had booked a table but came in a little early and it wasn’t an issue. We were seated straight away and given enough time to look over the menu before ordering. One of the staff members was concerned at where we were sat (the back of my head was almost touching a sharp bar corner) and helped to move our table over. I casually joked it was my birthday in a few hours and didn’t want to be injured and waiting for me after the mains was a slice of chocolate fudge cake with a candle in! A lovely touch and thank you for making it a memorable time!

Great place to eat. I can Recommend the king prawn, rocket and burrata pizza and the chicken fillet burger. Desserts were gorgeous.

As a vegan there were not many choices-no starters at all as far as I could see. Also a little more sauce on the bolognese and slightly less pasta would have been preferred. For value, though, it was amazing and the staff were lovely.

I received an email for your 99p evening and booked on for this. When arriving for what i thought was my booking time for me and my son. The gentleman who greeted us sebbi couldn't find my booking and then on checking i realised id booked the wrong day. I was slightly distressed about this and sebbi instantly reassured me he would find us a space (this was a pre booking offer only) this was so extremely kind to do and i was really grateful for this gesture. Pizza was fab service was great and we look forward to returning again soon. Thankyou

First order online from Prezzo. Good food but wrong pizza delivered and missing a side. Not a good start

I wish I could have rated less than zero. Worst birthday and worst dining experience ever. I was so looking forward to the cuisine at Prezzo however we ordered 2 of the starter deal and only one came, ordered the compulsory three course kids meal and they did not bring the desserts for the kids. We were ignored mostly and waited on by 3 different staff who didn’t seem to know what they were doing, although staff seemed to stand and talk to other couples for long periods of time. We told them about the birthday as you get a free cake as stated on the menu, usually worth £8. The chocolate fudge cake was vile and was not worth £8 we ended up having to pay for it. The staff were rude, blunt and abrupt with us, we had to wait for a long time to be seen to and receive the bill despite it being quieter in the restaurant and you could tell they were not listening and did not want to be serving us. Will avoid. £80 down the drain.

Family 4 stars purely thanks to one waitress. Went at 6 on a Saturday and not busy but Food was slow to come out and they forgot granddaughters meal so to stop the tears we shared ours with her so by time they brought her meal out she wasn’t that hungry and they did remove the charge from the bill. Between courses I watched one waitress rushing around doing everything while the others stood around doing nothing and she did it all with a smile and a laugh. Unfortunately the manager had left as we wanted to let them know what a fantastic job she had done on her own.

Awful experience, the food wasn’t half as nice as other Prezzos we have visited, both dishes dry and bland. The service however, was horrendous! Rude, miserable staff who couldn’t care less how long you waited to be seated, receive a menu, order etc. The restaurant wasn’t busy. We could see other tables were unhappy with the service too. Certainly wouldn’t recommend this branch !

Very solid food and atmosphere and the experience was made even better by the waiter, Artem. First day on the job but one of the nicest experiences I’ve had in a restaurant, lovely bloke, thank you!

What an absolute catastrophe. Avoid at all cost that you can, staff and rude, disrespectful, and arrogant, all the staff ignored us when we attempted numerous time to rase there attention, did nothing but shout across the restaurant to the other members of staff at the other end, and constantly on the phones. What a disaster!

Went with my 9 year old daughter for dinner. Nice clean friendly atmosphere with good food. We didn't book but as we left tables were filling up so if you are a large group I would suggest booking ahead of time.

Who pays these prices to eat here? Melted cheddar on a Caesar salad?! Worst Italian food I’ve ever had. No anchovies. Charged three pounds extra for anchovies. Food came out cold and without the extras we’d been charged for. Abysmal! Shame as the waiter was good.

Such great staff, food and service

Turned up and was told it was booking only. Went outside and booked the table. They didn't seem too happy with this and said we had to wait 20 minutes outside. We were with a 2 year old and it was cold outside so said we would wait. There were about 10 tables clear so we were seated straight away. 10 mins later we were served drinks saying food would be an hour minimum. We were served within half an hour. Very strange service. Almost rude

Just had a lovely meal here, a shame a few things were off the menu. Great friendly staff.

Went to restaurant for some food stood for nearly 10 minutes had zero acknowledgement from staff after they all looked us straight in face. Floor manager then walked to there counter wiped his hands and walked off we left. M&S cafe was were we ended up.

Reasonable i suppose, not really my sort of thing, felt like a maccy d's with table service and pizza, over priced for what it is, staff don't seem to care much, several of the waitresses were chewing gum

I felt dirty coming into the restaurant. It was full of noisy patrons with misbehaving children. The service was slow and the food absolutely mediocre and tasteless. The next time I have visited, out of necessity, one of the waitresses had a bad attitude on her. Very condescending.

Called in for dinner after stopping to do a spot of food shopping. Food was fantastic, delicious Pasta and pizza, and amazing desserts! The only downside was that the service was a little slow even though they weren't particularly busy - the staff were chatting and left my coffee on the side for almost 5 minutes! Aside from that I will certainly return and would definitely recommend!

ordered gluten free carbonara with chicken, the pasta wasn’t cooked properly, i began to feel sick halfway through meal and then it all came back up again, so i highly doubt the food was safe for me, it was also incredibly dry

Really disappointed! Visited for my Birthday. Table had to be wiped upon arrival. Food arrived before the cutlery and drinks. Food was pretty mediocre. Outside seating area was really pleasant.

A second visit to this Prezzo in 2 weeks, just to use up our Tesco vouchers before they expired... We had 30 quid to get rid of so thought would just do a quick Pizza while in York. What a disappointment (again) Ordered the 'NEW' Mushroom pizza and a Pepperoni Pizza. Well it was a case of 'Hunt the mushroom'! Scantly placed tiny button heads was all you got. Probably 8-10 of them over th entire (mushroom') pizza. Pepperoni was OK, but the crust of both Pizzas was almost to the point of Raw dough inside the crust. My wife asked for some Balsamic vinegar, but was told they don't do it... But An offer of accompaniment sauces was made instead and I opted for a garlic mayonnaise one. Well it arrived in a tiny dish that a pet mouse would drink out of. Anyway, we needed to go, I informed the young lad server that the Mushroom label on the Pizza was shocking.... He made a light hearted quip that it was previously called something else... Also, explained the nearly raw dough issue of which it just wasn't taken on board or any offer to compensate in any way... I stood by the till to pay and noted a couple eating at the table next to the till had cut all their crusts off their 2 Pizzas so clearly there was a trend here. I pointed this out to the server and it prompted the words... Oh yes looks like it..!!! Clearly untrained, I wasn't getting through. The bill should have been £30 and he said the voucher covered that but still £1.50 to pay for the mouse portion of Garlic mayo... Which wasn't mentioned that there was a charge... I questioned it and embarrassingly he said would wave the 1.50 due to the raw crust... I really couldn't stand there wasting my day any longer and left. Shocking experience of utter rubbish ..... I hope the other couple cutting their raw Crusts off gave them rock all....

We came for my wife's birthday for 5 people .the service was so disappointing we had to wait for 15 mins before we was seen at our table we ordered drinks then took another 15 minutes to arrive the food for the price is definitely not worth it pizzas really nothing on them for 17 pounds the spaghetti carbonara not worth 16 pounds as well and nearly 5 pounds for some frozen fries ...sorry will not be back so disappointing and this with 3 cokes and 2 drinks 90 pounds Plus

The food was good but not exceptional. Service was very good and we have a good reception. It was a little late, so few tables were occupied. We had a nice dinner!

Table for 4 which was 2 tables pushed together at different heights. Hadn’t been wiped down before we sat down, not set with any cutlery, napkins or glasses. Generally grubby. No water was offered. The orzo salad which sounded really nice on the menu was completely bland with no dressing, and for £12.50, was an insult to be honest. My partner gave them a £10 tip, which was generous, especially as the bill came to £125…. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I had an amazing meal here when visiting York, definitely somewhere I would recommend as the quality was superb. The dishes we ordered wasn’t greasy and plenty of food too. Was filled after finishing. The staff were all very polite and helpful, they were happy to let us just eat and have a lovely date night. Came over when drinks were empty and collect our plates once done. Everything was very clean and the toilets were just as clean. They’re unisex toilets and there are plenty of them too so I wasn’t waiting or in a queue for them. Plenty of choice for starters, mains and desserts. And they have food to cater for vegans or vegetarians too. Lots to choose when drinking as well, plenty of soft drinks and alcoholic drinks too.

When we got there we got sat down by a nice waiter in smart blue clothing.I ordered tomato pasta and mozzarella bites (from kids menu) I got my drink 5 Minutes and my starter after that Mozzarella bites were OFF THIS PLANET i have never had them so good. When our food came they bought me a kids pizza even though i had ordered tomato pasta BUT they bought the pizza back and said i could have it for FREE. They then bought my pasta and it was amazing it had so much flavour AND WAS NOT BLAND. Amazing waiters kind staff and overall 1000 out of 1000 HIGHLY RECOMEND

We ate here last weekend and it was fine! They give colouring in for kids so my toddler was happy and her meal was great! We also ordered the salmon pasta which was lovely, and I would get again, however, we did need to ask a few times for the parmesan. However, the chicken and pepper pizza was a huge let down, there was 4 pieces of pepper on it, and not much chicken either.

What a great place! The manager greeted us warmly and warned the wait could be sometime due to staff absences. We sat down and drinks were ordered quickly. To our surprise our food order came out quickly and each dish was cooked fresh and delicious. Service was very friendly and attentive with special note to Shaun who looked after us so well. Had a lovely evening meal with friends at Vanguard restaurant. Jacob who looked after us, was amazing and a credit to your team. Couldn't have been more helpful with suggesting meals and even had my meal altered from spaghetti to pasta. Lovely food and will definitely be back.

3 adults and 5 small children. Booked a table and were seated, took 25 minutes even to bring us a menu. Took an hour and a half for food to arrive, one child went hungry as they completely forgot the order, and all the other meals were so low quality we wanted to send them all back, but didn't want to have to wait so long again for rubbish food. They knocked 50% off the bill without us even asking because they knew how bad it had all been. We go to a nice restaurant for an enjoyable social gathering with good food, in the end it was a total ordeal, we really wish we'd told them to buzz off and refused to pay at all, the food was so bad and the service so poor.

Having been a few times now I can say the food is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. The parking is also very good. I'm only dropping this from a 5 because I do think the drinks are rather pricey

Was conscious about going here as there is quite low reviews but was pleasantly surprised the food and staff were lovely, we sat down and were served within 2-3 mins, food came out around 15-20mins and it was amazing! will be back!

Good food & good service but got to mark down on the fact that like other restaurants, they no longer take cash payments. Not a problem with myself regarding this but two members of my family could not take the people that they work with / care for because of this fact. Considering this is because the way that adult care in England works in a cash & receipt basis, I suppose we could class this a discrimination against people with disabilities!? Please rethink your policy Prezzo or I will definitely reconsider returning in future.

Was going to go to Nando’s next door but decided to give Prezzo a go, as had never been before. There were 4-5 other tables occupied when we arrived. We were shown to a table and we were sat there for 15-20 minutes without so much as a drinks order taken. When someone eventually came to take our order my husband ordered a burger, only to be told they had no burgers! They had a list of other items on the menu unavailable, which were unavailable before we walked in and were seated. They could quite easily have told us this upon arrival and save us having to wait nearly 20 minutes, having chosen what we wanted, to be told we had to choose something else (which we would quite happily have just picked something else). By this point we were thirsty, we were hungry, we were disappointed at the complete lack of service and neither of us have EVER walked out of a restaurant before but we decided to leave and ate elsewhere. Extremely disappointing.

I called here straight from work for food before going to the cinema. I asked if they had a table for 1. The waiter looked at what I was wearing, checked the seat plan, divided a 4 seat table to make 2 smaller tables to seat me. Restaurant not overly busy when I arrived, maybe the other tables were reserved. I waited ages to be served a drink and then longer still to place a food order. The food was ok, I wouldn't return to a Prezzo or recommend.

I booked a table for 21:00 when I turned up they said kitchen its closed so disappointing and rude service from staff even on google it's saying they close at 22:00

We had a nice family meal on Thursday early doors and the service was great. Molly looked after us with a great smile, attentiveness and a lovely attitude. We will definitely be back in the summer. Thanks
