Aleksandra was a great server on our visit, her to deal with some difficult customers regarding vouchers and she handled it so well, working in hospitality myself I know how tricky it can be! She was so lovely and offered us great service even after being spoken to badly by the other customers! Well done Aleksandra!

Visited with a couple of friends during the week, the waiter greeted and seated us promptly. There were a couple of others dining in, but soon left after our arrival. The atmosphere was still pleasant. The food was delicious, and the coffee we ordered was well made. Can't fault it. It was nice dining in front of a lit stone pizza oven. Service was perfectly timed from ordering to recieving our dishes, to paying for the bill. The calamari was top tier, especially with the sauce it comes with.

Very Slow service, my pizza was 75% crust it was tasteless just like onion chutney with about three chunks of gorganzola cheese which was also tasteless a( few slices of ham) also tasteless £18.99. husbands meatball starter four meatballs £8.50 . Pasta dishes looked like they had come out of a tin , drinks prices through the roof disgusting, will never go back definitely don't recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for their special Valentine’s set menu, and it was a truly delightful experience. Each course was delicious. We had calamari and prawns to start, gnocchi with seabass for me and for my wife the lobster ravioli. My son loves the fudge cake and ice cream. The staffs were attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

All the staff here are so lovely! We were a regular for 3 years running - an every other weekend visit! We’ve now moved however go back here everytime we are in the area 🥰

Didn't wait to be seated but took ages before someone took order didn't listen how we wanted the food served forgot drinks. Pasta arrabiatta was watered down. Waitress was talking to the cooks while we hadn't even been served really disappointed.

Turned us away from a 3/4 empty restaurant as they "only had enough pizza for the people that had booked" at 15:30 on a Saturday afternoon in a city centre shopping centre. If you can't mix flour yeast and water together....I give it a year

Really enjoyed this afternoon, could see the staff were busy and for me delivered a very good service.

The service was rather slow. We waited about five minutes at the reception before I approached the bartender to ask if we should wait there for service. He replied, “There are no tables, sir.” I then responded, “With all due respect, I have a reservation.” At this point, he acknowledged the reservation, and we were seated within another two minutes. Once seated, a lovely lady named Vaneyann, who was very pleasant, brought us our menus. She mentioned that someone would be back shortly to take our orders. However, 10-15 minutes passed with no service, so I asked who appeared to be the floor manager if we could place our food order. He replied that he would assist us after seating another guest. True to his word, he returned two minutes later to take our order. When I inquired whether the burger was homemade or frozen, I couldn’t get a clear answer. Based on taste, I’d say it’s a flash-frozen, all-beef patty rather than a handmade, crafted burger. Once we ordered, the food arrived promptly, which was a pleasant contrast to the initial service delays. The carbonara was delicious. It’s clear that the kitchen staff have their act together, but the front-of-house team could use some improvement.

Will certainly come back for the pizza and the food. We had the rectangle Romana style pizza, the dough was great. Not quite sure about the customer service but it is most likely an unfair comment as there was only two wait staff on a Wednesday night. There was a sign board about 25 percentage off but we did not enquire further, should have as there was no discount on our bill. Regardless, will definitely highly recommend the food. But, possibly not their chocolate cake which came with a thick milky watery runny thingy that is definitely not mascarpone.

What a waste. Waste of food, waste of time. Had to wait over 40 minutes for our order, several walk ins after us got their food first. When the food finally arrived, half of the order was wrong. The food that we got was average, the side of fries was undercooked, tasted like old fat and was basically inedible. What a shame. The front of house did however, not bill us for ALL of the food, which was a small comfort.

Food was amazing and very tasty however we was trying to catch the managers attention to get the bill or order a dessert and he was speaking to his friends or family at the front of the restaurant, a little frustrating because we spent 2 hours in there and wanted to see a film afterwards but missed it unfortunately. The waiter service was brilliant though but the waiter went home early during our meal because I overheard it wasn't busy but even we couldn't get the bill or dessert in a timely manner even though it wasn't busy...

Food was brilliant and good size portions as it's not the cheapest place so that more than made up for the prices. Staff were friendly but the service was a little slow when we visited. The only downside was, when I visited the toilet, the seat hasn't been cleaned for years and instead of being white it was like a mustard colour, disgusting! Why they haven't just bought a new seat I don't know because it's rancid and probably beyond cleaning now.

My partner is coeliac and we struggle to find places that cater for his needs. He ordered a gluten free pepperoni pizza and cheesy garlic bread. He really enjoyed it. The bases were home made and not Schar bases that you usually get at other Italian restaurants. Brilliant food and great service.

We got meatballs as the starter. Meatballs themselves were fine but nothing special. The sauce on top of them was lukewarm and the bread tasted defrosted with a fusty taste. As mains we ordered a lasagna, a bolognaise, and a side of cheesy garlic bread.in fairness, the lasagne was well cooked and hot,but was more cheese than pasta and mince. When the food came out the garlic bread had no cheese and the bolognaise was over cooked yet cold pasta with the sauce in a pile on the top. The sauce was extremely watery , containing more carrots than anything else and the spaghetti was sat in what resembled a broth more than a pasta sauce, I suspect from the sauce mix being microwaved to be reheated from frozen. The spaghetti itself was extremely cool and the sauce mixture lukewarm. We notified the waiter about the garlic bread and they were pleasant and said they would ask the chefs to make a new one. Around a minute later the exact same garlic bread came out with cheese on. Since it was the same bread just reheated with cheese it was overdone so burnt, very tough and chewy. During the meal, the staff were very unprofessional on their phones and there were multiple iphones ringing from behind the bar. After we had finished, we asked for the bill and the waitress/manager said she would go get it for us. For context the restaurant was less than half full with no large parties. 30 minutes later our bill ( table for 2) still had not arrived so we went up to the bar and asked if it would be possible to pay. The same manager/waitress who had said she would get our bill appeared as if we had not asked her and made us feel like such a burden and cheeky for going up to ask(since it’s normally table service) however let us pay. We left after paying £60 for a meal I could have cooked better from Tesco at home.

Pants…wasn’t busy but food took nearly 40 minutes just for 2 pizzas and 2 chips. Could see the table next to us getting frustrated with the wait as well. When our pizzas eventually arrived they were underdone and we had to send them back, no one came to check on us to see if everything was okay or asked if we wanted anymore drinks. Staff stood behind the bar on their phones, overpriced food and atmosphere so dead it made me depressed being there. I’ve worked in hospitality for 11 years and can honestly say our experience was shocking, won’t be returning

Had an evening meal here as we were in town for the Sir Ranulph Fiennes talk at Hull City Hall. We know Prezzo well, it’s good standard food that serves its purpose, plus we both love Italian. What I really liked about this restaurant though was the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. It was clean, decent food on the menu and we found various vouchers for money off online; certainly check before you eat! We can only use one voucher with one meal so we had to work out which one best suited us. Based on my experiences of this restaurant I would be more than happy to recommend a visit.

Not my best experience of an italian restaurant of this type but doesn't have a drive after this visit to return to the chain for food.

This was very disappointing. Service was not great, a lady came to clear our table whilst some of us were still eating. She noticed and apologised but continued to clear, taking more plates and saying sorry again. She wasn't sorry, or she would have stopped. It wasn't even clear she worked there, wearing a dress, no name badge. Looked like she had just walked in. Strange. The the waiter came to take dessert orders. He left the remaining dinner plates on the table and served desserts around them. I had to clear the rest of the table myself to make space. No care or training given in this resturant. It's a shame as it was a birthday dinner too. Would not recommend. Definitely won't be returning.

Food was ok, service slow which was irritating as we were the only ones in barr one more table.. no atmosphere at all, the place was like a wake. Also, the place is card only. Unfortunately one more place to add to the growing list of companies that like to dictate to a customer how they should pay for their food! We wont be back. They are far far better places locally that offer better cheaper food and are only to happy to accept cash.

came for dinner last week with my mum, I had the vegan spaghetti bolognese which was delicious. Food came out very quickly and lovely service from our waiter Will.

Pizza was soggy and had hardly any toppings, very disappointed for the price, will not be back again.

Were told after the meal that we were to tot our own bill up ,then pay ,I have never been to a restaurant where you have to do that will not be going again .also it was 7 95 for a large beer wow .

This restaurant is CARD ONLY.Very expensive 8 pounds for a bottle of beer. There was 15 of us and the waitress could not make our bills separate or per couple.We were all put on the same bill and when it came to pay we had to add up our own orders and pay our part of the bill.This led to confusion and people were asked to pay more after they had,or thought they had settled up.We were charged an extra 3pounds 50 pence for an item we had not had.I would have thought the onus was on the waitress to tell us how much we owed for our meals and drinks not the other way round.We will not be using this place again

We came here as our favourite Italian place is closed Sunday through Tuesday and I had a craving; so I dragged my other half out to curb that craving. It’s been a fair few years since I attended and ate at Prezzo and I had remembered it was lovely last time so we thought we’d give it a go. First issue is they no longer serve a caprese salad which I had planned to order as I’d had it last time, but ah well easily brushed under the rug no problems. For starters we ordered the olives, the burrata with tomatoes and pesto, and the prawn and gnocchi in a white wine sauce which is served with a couple slices of garlic bread. All of these were perfectly lovely, though they do not have any bread and oil/dips on the menu which I’m used to having with a burrata; again small issue but we ordered an extra serving of garlic bread to scoop up the burrata with. Not ideal but still yummy and no big issue. My partner ordered the vanilla iced coffee to drink, which I tasted also and that was lovely. I had one of the Italian beers which was also lovely. Now; mains, this is where things took a slight turn downhill, or at least for me personally. I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and my partner the ‘posh pepperoni’, his pizza arrived and was very yummy and looked gorgeous with a very generous portion size(it was HUGE.) my pasta however arrived and had what I believe are pea sprouts on top, which went lovely with the burrata but not on the pasta. They appeared to have been scrunched into the entire top of my dish so I couldn’t remove them. Secondly; the pasta was bland. I know Alfredo is a white sauce base which isn’t flavour central but there was no flavour at all; even the chicken didn’t have flavour to it. They had added both red and yellow peppers to the dish, and I personally believe the yellow peppers did not fit. I asked the waitress for some Parmesan to top my pasta with as it was very bland and she was very nice about doing so and even made sure to say if I still didn’t enjoy it with the Parmesan added to let her know and they can fix it( I assume remake or offer another dish). The Parmesan helped but couldn’t save the dish, at this point though I was full and tired and didn’t want to be rude so I didn’t mention to the staff. Overall not the best Italian restaurant we’ve been to in Hull, though I and my partner would at least highly recommend the pizzas here and some of the starters. Staff were not overly fussy but still did a decent job and were very pleasant, it’s just that I can think of better Italian food to spend that amount of money on! :)

Meal not good ,waitress very pushy and abrupt, not helpful at all .Also refused to take cash for payment but did not inform our table of 14 that it was card payment only and no sign to inform of this .Very expensive for not nice meal

I am sorry to say this but this has to be shared. Myself and husband came in yesterday 16/05/23 for lunch. We ate the starter fondu and chicken skewer. The mains came pizza was lovely but my sea bass plate was utterly inedible. I sent this back and did not have a replacement. Desserts were ok. Now I will give the waitress her dues she was apologetic and reduced the bill. Which was not my aim, I actually wanted to eat! But it was appreciated. Left the restaurant and 8 hours later we have both been vomiting through the night. I have literally just woken up an hour ago. My husband is a ln ex chef nd I have worked in the industry, so we are well aware of the results of food poisoning. I did try to ring the restaurant three times to be cut off, to make you aware of this. So unfortunately you are left with a very public address of the matter. Which is very unfortunate but sadly needed.

The food was OK but the chips we had were extremely salty. The waitress wasn't great, she cleared our plates after our mains but then disappeared. We wanted to order more drinks and dessert but she never came back. After 10 mins of staff walking past our table and ignoring us I went to ask for dessert menus and we finished our meal. The restaurant was very quiet and there was multiple staff members stood around chatting and drinking coffee around the bar We should have gone to Ask

The food was so nice I got my usual burger and it didn't disappoint I got to try the meat calzone and I was like next time I will order that it come with a salad and garnish again it was lush so for pizza lovers that with definitely tick all your boxes my daughter got spag bol looked nice and she said it was lovely my son got the 7.50 set meal again what he got was perfect portioned for him he said dad this is the place I want a birthday meal at and he's 6 coming 7 next month bless him service and great and polite staff tipped the 10% my kids said we have to tip for good food and service also before I forget the honeycomb cheese cake is to die for cheers guys see you again soon

Firstly, I would like to start that this place is lovely the decor and everything and the staff are lovely. However, when our meals came out my mums portion was shocking. There was barely anything in the dish. Although she liked it. Mine on the other hand had lots of pasta and the beef on top was amazing but it didn't come out hot barely even warm. Overall it was quite disappointing wouldn't come here again, Sorry!

Absolutely disgusting We left without ordering because it is so dirty. Food on the cutlery and walls. The shelf on the wall next to us had never been cleaned by the looks of it. We will never eat there again and it’s such a shame because it use to be lovely.

Don’t want to complain too much because it’s a busy night with it being valentines day, but on the same score.. it’s Valentine’s Day! With a one year old we don’t often get meals to ourselves so we were excited or this one. Unfortunately my pasta was flavourless, barley any sauce if any, and the chocolate cake was inedible. It was like a brownie that hadn’t been cooked. Were we meant to cook the cake before eating, I have no idea but I’d like to think we wouldn’t have to do that. Over all not our best valentines day meal. Disappointed but not the end of the world.

Myself and my husband dined here, and have to say, we were not impressed!!! Mainly with the service- Whilst the food was ok, nothing special, the service was non existent, a lazy waitress who couldnt be bothered even though the restaurant was almost empty and a 'member of staff' - we guess - laying down on the chairs, and flexing his muscles at himself in the restaurant mirror. The toilets need cleaning as there was urine all over the floor. Drinks and food are overpriced also. We would definately not dine here again.

Long delivery time so the food was cold

Absolutely appalling customer service. They are no longer taking cash, which was the 1st annoying thing. We were seated and were asked if we had any allergies, we informed the waiter that my nephew had a mushroom allergy he replied “is this an allergy or a preference” no it’s an allergy that’s why we informed you. After waiting at least 35 minutes for our food we enquired how much longer it would be as people who arrived after us had received their orders. The water went to enquire and informed us the chef was about to cook our food “fresh” and it would be at least another 20 minutes. At this point we said don’t bother we will go somewhere else. Informed the manager on the way out how disappointed we were. Cash is no longer good enough and service is appalling and we will never return.

My suspicions started after the orders for 4, been served about 15 min later. The Chicken in the tagliatelle, tried a single piece, and my suspicions become real, it tasted like mashed potato, the tagliatelle paste were greasy like cooked in the deep frier. disgusted I left my dish unfinished. Probably they buying the cheapest frozen chicken breasts to maximize profits. It's no better than a corner takeaway, but it's a rip&show off with the name of Prezzo. we not going back there, and I do not recommend it.

I’ve been a long-standing customer of Prezzo for a few years, but today, their staff displayed the most outstanding level of care I’ve seen from a team. After the sudden loss of consciousness and collapse from my wife, the team scrambled to help immediately - We could not be any more grateful for the calm, prompt and compassionate reaction from them. Prior to this, as usual, the food was also amazing. I hope the team read this and understand just how grateful we are. Specifically to the lady who tended my wife with the ice and constant checking up, we extend our thanks much further.

YOU CALL THIS A KING PRAWN? food was ok very expensive and i think they scammed our 2 for 1 cos the bill was still high. the waiter whilst not actually doing anything wrong we could not stand him, 10 more minutes there i would’ve smashed his face in. my portions were good but my friend got about 2 pieces of ravioli for £18!! honestly it is so overrated i wouldn’t bother! £4 for a cloudy lemonade no thanks! the truffle fries banged tho

Visited with friends for an evening get together. Swift and friendly service. Ordering in stages as our decision-making skills permitted. The cocktails are well worth a try and all of the food is delicious. The lasagne is a particular favourite.

Thoroughly underwhelmed,first of all it was late.It was cold on arrival.It had missing items no sauce in calamari,no condiments in my burger just bun,cheese,chicken.totally not worth £30+.If you have run out of things please just let the customer know rather than send subpar food half of which I had to throw out.The only good thing about this order was the delivery man was very polite.

My husband and I came in on the 7/6/22 .We had received a smartbox 3 course meal for 2 by our son and daughter in law 2 years ago. Unfortunately with covid and my illness the voucher had expired.. My husband rang up and spoke to the manager who was very obliging. She said to still come in and they would honour it.We did and throughly enjoy the food...The pasta and pizza are amazing..We were so full we brought our dessert honeycombe cheesecake home with us...We would like to say a big thank you to you all...and of course we will be back.

Presso is one of my favorite places to go,however this time round I didn’t enjoy,went in and the music was very loud,therefore everyone was having to shout to be heard…we did ask for it to be turned down,which the young man did happily,but it still felt too loud…the place was cold….the food,well it was fine,a bit over priced for what it was,the staff however made the visit better,polite and helpful
