The “Spicey One” pizza ordered had the least amount of toppings I’ve ever seen at any restaurant. Although it tasted lovely, definitely not worth £16. I told the 1st “how is your food” waiter who said it was normal. I told the 2nd “how is your food” waitress who decided at that point, she didn’t speak English. Please Prezzo, don’t join this race to the bottom.

Excellent service, even though busy. Used the kids eat free offer in conjunction with movie for junior offer at Cineworld. So film and lunch for less than £30!

We had an enjoyable meal at Prezzo Hemel Hempstead. The service was great and the food was delicious. We had made an advance reservation, which I recommend as it is very popular. If we return to the Snow Centre, I will definitely return for another meal.

I ordered my food at 4pm with a delivery time of 6:30, so ordered ahead of time. However, it came to 6:30 and the food was still not being prepared, I tried phoning the restraunt twice but no answer either time. The food eventually arrived 1hour late, to which my chips, which should have been the truffle fries were infact normal fries without any truffle flavour or look (and stone cold), one pasta dish, had two pieces of chicken in. Both Garlic breads were cold in the pasta deals. Not good

This place serves the best spaghetti bolognese I’ve had in years. The sauce is perfectly seasoned, the pasta cooked al dente, and the fresh herbs add the perfect finishing touch. The service is a poetry – professional, warm, and full of passion for the guests. The whole experience creates the atmosphere of an authentic Italian trattoria. I highly recommend it to every lover of Italian cuisine!

Had a Mum Daughter date her with my little girl. We loved it. Such friendly and accommodating staff, yummy food. All so easy and relaxed. Would highly recommend.

The pizza arrived barely warm and the dough was under cooked and almost a rubbery consistency. A very disappointing meal.

Not happy with the experience. Booked a table for 2 people for 7:30 and there was no one to deal with the stupid amount of people in the foyer area. Whilst waiting for 15 minutes people walked straight passed us and got sat straight away. Won't be going back.

Monday was hopeful as we wanted quiet dining. We arrived at 12:50pm and the front of house lady was lovely and welcoming. We ordered starters of meat balls and bruchetta, which was ok but a bit pricey for £9 each. The Bruchetta was also a pizza base with pesto, when one was expecting a french stick style base with chopped mini tomatos. The mains are the reason for our low review. We ordered the "new" bolognaise and Orzo salad with added prawns. The Bolognaise was not even eatable. The sauce was not "Ragu" style at all, it tasted more like a child's sauce from jar. Plus the spaghetti was incredibly soggy and soft, and clearly had been resting in water, so not cooked fresh. We also ordered a side of tomatos which felt like they came from Tescos value range, in other words under ripe and watery. They were sliced and placed on a plate and we were expected to pay £4.50. These dishes were both sent back! The prawns from the salad tasted of old grilled oil and hopefully im not going to be ill tonight from their unusal taste. The bill still clocked up to over £60! Sadly will not be retuning. There are much better authentic chains of italian restaurasnts that are so much better.

Very noisy lunchtime meal. All three courses were good, maybe the tiramisu could have been better (but pretty sure the desserts are shipped in). Service was acceptable, a busy summer holiday period with kids etc - only 2 people on the floor serving. Hence, the service was "direct" with no real attempt to add value. All in all, a good experience.

Pasta was not cooked enough as it was quite hard. Still needed more cooking, but the lady offered a refund for it. Food was alright, nothing special, but there are better Italian restaurants than this Prezzo.

Understaffed. The 2 ladies bravely ran around like worker ants covering all serving basis. Apparently the area manager was at home! Pizza up to the normal tasty standard. Try the new range, yummy. Probably the worst beer I've ever tasted, at least I was not charged. Lovely large open venue with lots of free parking. Stay left when you drive in as signage is terrible.

Horrible customer service especially the European blonde manger with a horrible disgusting attitude. Stay away from this place.

I was not impressed with previous reviews . However , we had a Wonderful food and services , definitely come again. The waitress with smiling face makes us feel joyful . Highly recommended.

Claims to accept coeliacs. Has no gluten free dough. Waiting 15 mins minimum for service at start and then same wait for bill. Pasta was undercooked and rubbery. And no it’s not just a gluten free thing. Didn’t offer any grated cheese when mains came out. Small but still agitating when it’s supposed to be part of the service.

On a shopping trip from London we came across a Prezzo restaurant in Hemel Hempstead. DIdn't realise it was there. Great food, excellent staff and service and will definitely be dining there again.

Good food. Prompt service. Expensive - especially drinks. £6.50 for an alcohol free beer is excessive.

I booked for a group of 16 and emailed our pre-selected food choices. Everyone’s meals were exactly what they had ordered, even omissions and substitutions.

Was disappointed had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad and the avocado was rock hard and I left it. Told the waitress and she just said sorry that’s how it was delivered! Could have comped a drink or done something.

This is Absolutely the most disrespectful place anyone could possibly enter! They refuse to serve Travellers as paying customers! This place should be avoided at all cost

We visited this Prezzo from out of town yesterday, as we were in the area. The pizzas were overcooked and burnt, as a chef/waiter I would not have brought them out like that. The service was so poor, no one came to ask how our meals were, when we chased someone for the bill again no one asked how our meal was, no interaction from the waiting or restaurant staff and the female restaurant manager came across as dismissive and uninterested in customers. The standard of the food and the service is way below that of our usual local Prezzo.

The food never came and the restaurant never picked the phone up despite me ringing 5 or 6 times.

We visited on Bank Holiday Monday for their bottomless brunch deal and had the best time. Staff were attentive and super quick with both food and keeping the drinks flowing. It's 2 hours of bottomless drinks and they have a fairly large cocktail list to choose from. We will definitely be making a return visit 😊

We celebrated my daughters birthday yesterday and had a great time. Considering we had 10 kids and it was a bit crazy and loud - Prezzo team has done such a great job. Huge thank you to Particia, Albert and Claudia for helping us and to the kitchen team for tasty meals. 100% reccommend!

The £18.95 fish dish was literally a half a sea bass from Aldi as thin as a leaf, oily and burned on the tail! Decorated with wilted herb and a half spoon red pesto!!that was the whole dish. Kids gluten free pizza was a 2.5 inch, thin as paper, signed with an allergy flag!! Literally it was a big lukewarm cracker topped with tomato sauce and cheese. Another kids pizza was the size a palm of a hand, burned at the bottom. Came kids ice cream size of £2 coin smeerd to a dish! Another child had “organic” ice Lolly, don’t know where did they source such a thing! It was the size of a pencil! We had waited 30 min for starter and another 45 min for the main! I’m in disbelief how they get away with such poor quality food. The lady who served food was very caring and she was lovely. Their oven baked pizza might be good but I won’t go there again.

We got lots of different food and as soon as we come home my 5 year old daughter vomits 4 times and me and my family had the runs. Please be careful with thier food. Chicken was burnt and food not good at all. Never going there again! And also the service was an absolute disaster

While the staff were very nice and the food was nice, the portion size of the Ravioli was very very underwhelming. Especially as it costs nearly £18. It is definitely the size for a starter, not a main. We ended up going across to McDonalds for more food as we were still hungry. It was also very very loud in there, i struggled to hear my friend throughout the meal.

Nice place just next to the cinema so very convenient. A little disappointed with the service, they all friendly but not very attentive. We got the starters and drinks quickly but the main didn’t come for an hour and we had to ask the waitress to check with the kitchen. Waitresses didn’t ask if the food was good or if we need anything else. Food was average, spaghetti bolognese and pizza were ok but nothing special. Probably not gonna go back.

Loud, slow and pretty poorly cooked and served Italian style food. If you like to go for a nice meal in load noise, kids everywhere and blokes dressed in tracksuits and sliders - this is the Italian style restaurant for you. My recommendation- have a Nando’s and save £50!

If the pizza oven isn’t working it may be an idea to A. not open your pizza restaurant or B. Tell people before they sit down and order drinks. Staff were unapologetic and quite frankly rude. Plenty of other places to eat nearby, definitely won’t be returning or recommending to anybody .

The staff here are amazing especially Kalina... Who is so super friendly and helpful. I've been coming every Thursday after iceskating lessons with the kids for about 6 years. Thank you for having us. 😁

A very good evening. The service was great. The atmosphere was OK, it was very loud and a bit cramped (on a two seater table). All the food was tasty, but with the price tag. Portions was very small. Overall, this is a fast food restaurant, made to feel high-end, enjoyable but at the cost there is better!.

Decided to try one of the grill dishes ...saltimboca. Hard to believe they would serve wet cabbage soaking the large plate with water, blackened chicken ( grill not cleaned)... and a small shrivelled up piece of bacon which required investigation to identify...regret not taking photos...the staff were very good, 5 stars to them.

The food was excellent, but that would be expected when they apparently took the time to birth, raise, and slaughter my chicken after I placed my order to demonstrate their commitment to freshness. Plus, I came in to celebrate my 46th birthday, and they saved me a tonne of time by allowing me to celebrate the next 3 birthdays while I waited for my main. They were slow. If you didn't get that. We were here for an hour before our main turned up. An hour and a half later and they still haven't taken our dessert order. I'm hesitant to order dessert, honestly, because I'm not sure I'll live to the next turn of the century to eat it. But my son's having one, so wish me luck. I'll update this review from my flying car after I've eaten it. Also, the toilets were awful. Don't fill the time waiting for your food with drinks. Trust me on this. TLDR: Food was great, but unfortunately nothing is worth THAT wait.

Lovely, family friendly restaurant. Staff was polite and accommodating. I really love the spicy prawns in tomato sauce that used to be on the menu, alas not any more. The waitress and the chef were fantastic in fulfilled my wish. It wasn't a problem for them at all. Thank you!

Ate here a few times before and during covid. Servers are friendly and offer the option to eat either outside or inside in addition to either paying and ordering via the app, or by a server. The food quality is lovely and there is a great range of items to choose from. The only downside we found to eating outside is that we felt a little forgotten about and it would have been great if a waiter/waitress popped out every now and then to offer drinks re fills rather than us having to go back inside and ask. Just a minor detail. Overall, lovely place to eat out. *update October 2023* My rating has gone down due to the extremely small portions now being offered and higher prices. Paid £18 for a ravillli only to have 11 little pieces of pasta along with a dessert for £8 which was tiny. Disappointing.

Arrived when restaurant was almost empty. Children had a starter of fried mozerella. Waited almost an hour from our arrival for main course to arrive (pizza and kids pasta). Told because children had a starter that delayed everything else. Despite being completely unjustifiable in the time it took, management sought to justify it. Learned my wife had a similar experience in last visit. Will never return. Very expensive for what it is as well.

Staff were lovely and friendly but had to apologise about the size of the portions. I'm 6ft 6inch and 105kg and the ravioli I ordered as a main barely touched the sides and should be served as a starter. Food in all was good but underwhelming in regards to portion sizes, we ended up spending nearly £200 on food and didn't get much for our money. I've loved eating at Prezzo for years now but am now slightly put off by the overpriced menu. Other members of the family enjoyed their food but I would say to anyone wanting to visit here that if you are hungry then stay away from the Risotto and the Ravioli as you will not be filled up! Next time I choose to eat at a prezzo I will be sticking to the pizzas for main course.

Really not up to scratch. My friend ordered a prawn risotto that was so anaemic and watery that it looked more like porridge. He couldn’t finish it. I ordered the meat calzone and it came stuffed with peppers and chicken - it was more like a big fajita. It was served with some pizza-style tomato sauce for dipping but it was completely cold. Really not appetising. It’s also very expensive for what you get, with a large pizza costing the best part of £20. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Dropped in after cinema No booking but offered a nice table for two Placed order, for starters and chicken main Then told NO chicken, due to demand/delivery problem Ordered instead beef with mash . . . to be told mash was off too! What? At 7:30 pm! So we changed our mains order again (which was delicious and good service) ok so why five stars? What followed was a master class in customer care AGA, duty manager, first apologised, offered us a round of drinks and then said there would be no charge for the whole meal. It was on PREZZO Wow, didn't see that coming Thank you Aga for taking the initiative to turn a negative into a positive situation without waiting for 'a customer complaint' Overall GREAT PR/customer service and an equally great meal Of course we'll return . .

It's OK, that's about it. Service is quite slow considering it's next to a cinema, staff are friendly though but only if you can catch their attention. Can't say it was great, but I can't say it was awful either. The food was OK, but kids' portions are a bit of a joke. Veg dip sticks for kids starter is 4 slithers of peppers and 2 cucumber slices?! Main was OK portion size for kids and dessert was OK size. Adult burger was great and adult pizza was to. Just the slow service really brings a dampner to the experience. Not really reflective of over £80 bill for 5 to eat really.

This was my first visit to a Prezzo in a very long time. Visiting as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children)on a Thursday afternoon during the school holidays. We were greeted and seated quickly, although there were only another 5 tables with people. It had a calm atmosphere with not much noise, which was a nice change from other places we've been to. Starters came out quickly, although I think the adults' garlicbread looked the same as the child's portion. The mains took a little longer to come out but were all correct, leaving empty plates. The bill was over £50 for 2 kids' meals, 1 garlic bread, 1 pizza, and 4 soft drinks (2 being children cups of squash) If it wasn't for the price, we'd go back, but in todays economy, Prezzo is aimed at the middle to upper class

Chose Prezzo for proximity to the cinema but despite being only moderately busy, there was a 40 minute wait between starter and mains (pizza / pasta) which meant we had to rush the food to get to the cinema. In the case of the pasta at least, it wasn't worth the wait - especially for a £16 dish. Pizza was decent though. Guys, if service is going to be so slow, please let diners know in advance so they can switch if needed.

Your driver stored the pizzas vertically so the food looked like it had been spun in a tumble dryer when it got here.

I have always loved prezzo.....however my visit last night(hemel) did not live up to expectations. Took ages to order.....staff trying to do 3 jobs (not their fault). Main was sent back 3 times! Cold! Not even luke warm! Apparently was reheated in the microwave.......(hope not being pasta and salmon) dish kept coming back as cold as I had sent it back. Gave up in the end and just ate the garlic bread I had ordered as a side......could not eat what they were serving. I think it would of been better if they had just redone the dish in the first place? Waitess (blonde hair apologies didnt get her name) was very apologetic after she realised I hadn't had my main and took 15% of the bill however it won't make up for the fact I ended up having no dinner and the awkwardness of having to send the dish back so many times. Would not recommend.

Large prezzo. Saturday evening was busy but not full. Best to reserve beforehand. Food was good, although pasta tomato sauce was a bit off taste to usual prezzo standards. Prices are dear like every other restaurant. Hopefully this branch does not close as its becoming harder to find a local prezzo.

really good food, prezzo has definitely upped their game! the veggie calzone was incredible, and had mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes and mascarpone cheese inside, served with a tomato dipping sauce. only negative would be the service was slightly slow, even with a relatively empty restaurant.

Will keep it quick: they do a really good calzone and would highly recommend but would stay clear of the smoked salmon penne pasta (I usually love salmon but this dish wasn’t the best, bland and over cooked salmon)
