Good food.. Very friendly staff recommended .

We had booked in for bottomless brunch for 12 people, 1 adult who wasn’t drinking and a child, this had been discussed on the phone when the booking was made, & had been told it was fine as long as there was on adult who would be not drinking and responsible. When we arrived the welcome was poor, it was obvious they didn’t want us there, we were ignored for 10 minutes before someone came to take the order, told us they didn’t know we had booked bottomless and it wouldn’t be possible with the child. After explaining we had a sober adult they reluctantly said it was ok. We asked about the Prosecco for the table as, when we had been previously they had been brought on arrival for us to drink while they prepared our cocktails. After checking the menu it has been significantly reduced compared to the website and previous visits. We had to then wait another 10 minutes no one came, one of us went to let the staff know we were ready to order as they were stood at the till talking and looking at their phones. After eventually taking the order, they then came back to tell us they didn’t have all the drinks we wanted. The restaurant was not busy with only two other tables of two in there. It was obvious from the go they just couldn’t be bothered. We went round the corner to the Clock House , better selection of drinks food, better atmosphere and far better service.

First visit for a long time. To be honest, I only went as I got a taste card which we could use in there. The waitress who served us was lovely. Very friendly and helpful with menu descriptions. The restaurant inside is a very nice space. I had spaghetti bolognese and not a lot of meat on top of a good pile of spaghetti. It wasn't hot, unfortunately, just warm. The pepperoni pizza was hot and a good size. We shared a large garlic bread which was good. The puddings were £8 which I feel is too expensive for a pudding. We did have one as with taste card it made them £4 each, which is a better price and they were tasty.

Always a lovely meal here, great value.

Really great food and atmosphere

Called for breakfast today went in at 9.25am ordered there Italian breakfast with a tea.Tea arrived pretty quick then there was a wait about 20 mins for the breakfast to arrive .The waitress came with the breakfast and placed in front of me she apologised for the state of the egg which was probably the worst I had ever seen.I declined because I didn't want to wait any longer .I started to eat took a bite of the sausage it was like burnt cardboard tasted the bacon was the same bread was rock hard too didn't try anything else it was disgusting. Got up told the waitress and showed her and left.Prezzo stick to what you know .

No dressing on salad, chips raw steak ok and cost 94£ for 2 and all you got bkbwadbsorry about that,in hind sight I wished I sent it bk

Staff and service excellent. I personally found the menu a little complicated and a little expensive, however the food I chose was well cooked and tasty.

Very expensive, £8.00 for small.piece of cake, small portions discontinued and quality of food deteriorated, as well as increasing in price.

Could do with a good clean up,staff put under target pressure,that is not possible

I went to this Prezzo on Sunday 5th May. I wanted a table for one. I was met by a very helpful manager who let me pick a table of my choice. The service and food were excellent. I wasn't rushed and staff were friendly and very polite. I will definitely return when I visit Gainsborough again

Had a lovely family meal and was able to use my Tesco vouchers.

Great food and if used with one of the many discount vouchers out there is also great value for money. Always our go to for a last minute food restaurant.

Was a birthday party 12 persons they did their best to accommodate everyone

During my todays visit to Prezzo, I encountered an issue regarding the pricing of the garlic bread with balsamic onions. Upon ordering, I specifically requested the garlic bread as indicated on the menu and confirmed its price at £7.50 for the shared portion with the waiter. Consequently, I proceeded to order the lasagne along with the aforementioned garlic bread. However, upon receiving the bill, I was surprised to find that the total amounted to £27.45. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the staff member that took over from the previous waiter informed me that the garlic bread was priced at £10.50. I promptly reiterated my initial confirmation with the waiter regarding the £7.50 price and expressed my reluctance to pay £10.50 for a garlic bread. It was then pointed out to me on the menu that there was an additional charge of £3.00 for the sharer. This miscommunication regarding the pricing led to confusion and dissatisfaction with the overall experience.

Popped in for a very quick lunch on Sunday, used a 2for1 voucher, great food and service.

We all liked the food that was there, but not when carter had cucumber near his food. The dessert was Amazingly beautiful 5 STAR!

Had a New Years Eve meal there 2023 service was good as always and food is to a good standard.

Visited with my wife today I had the carbonara, would I like chicken with that I was asked yes please said I. Very quick service ( very few customers). My wife asked had I changed my mind about the chicken ? So I searched for it five small and I mean small pieces was all there was worked out at 60 p per piece. Last time for Prezzo will go to Gina's in Lincoln from now on.

Food was lovely and staff always friendly and attentive. Always look for discount vouchers online or on Facebook as this can make for an even better experience.

Food was ok nothing exciting on the menu toilets could do with cleaning poor management and staff training needs to be addressed

Pricey place to eat but outstanding food, just not enough. Waitress was a real pleasure and very attentive. Would highly recommend you trying Prezzo Gainsborough. 5 out of 5.

The food was excellent, especially the chocolate cake and sticky toffee pudding. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we were not rushed at all. Will definitely call again next time we visit Gainsborough.

Lovely place, friendly staff, clean and delicious pizzas and various dishes.

First time visiting this afternoon as a group of 5. It was quiet on arrival however still took an hour for drinks!! Even then when they brought them over one was wrong and when I complained the manager was rude. Aiden the waiter was very good and seemed to be the only one doing anything. The other worker was stood on her phone with the manager having a laugh when 2/3 of the restaurant was filled with dirty pots. Food was also lukewarm. We will not be returning. Extremely disappointed.

Relaxed atmosphere, quick to be served and food arrived within 10min. Meal was gorgeous but portions are a bit small for adults ( what we had anyway) A bit expensive for a family lunch.

My friend and I went here when our original plans fell through. The staff quickly seated us and took our order when we were ready. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a great time. Would definitely go again.

Food is pretty good but anybody paying full price needs their head examining. Sharing garlic bread to start followed by 2 calzones and a portion of chips. £55 is just ridiculous. Good job I had a £30 Tesco voucher.

We have been coming to this Prezzo’s since it opened. We always have a lovely meal. The staff are great-especially with the children. It’s a family favourite when we want some tasty Italian food.

Vile women manager!!! Needs to be sacked!!! We wasn’t informed it was only car payments as we only had cash on us. Ordered food, told them we was happy to pay more with cash but we genuinely didn’t have a card on us to use. Manager came storming out swearing at us and snatched the money from my partners hand. I told her nobody told us it was cashless and there’s not a single sign but she seemed to think we was psychic and already knew. The manger then started pointing fingers and being vile towards us putting her middle finger up. Vile vile women shouldn’t be working in a restaurant, us and our family will never be returning!!!!!!!!!!!! She also scared our children when shouting

Not been here for a long time after having a £50 tip added to my bill, glad to see it has been left to customer discretion. Good meal, good service.

Food, although slightly overpriced was very delicious. Drinks were very overpriced. £3.75 for a small glass bottle of Pepsi et al, hence we ordered a jug of water for the table. Staff were overall friendly and responsive, however the one waitress that mostly served us, we thought was a little bit intrusive and overbearing. Whilst initially seeming funny and having banter, this member of staff, we feel, overstepped the mark with a couple of comments. She criticised our meal preferences as “red flags” in our relationship. Mine being I didn’t like mayo, and my partners being she ate chips before the burger! She claimed that she was joking with her comments before saying “or am I?” along with her expressions and tone making it seem like she disapproved of our relationship. We know staff are there to recommend desserts but this staff member seemed particularly disappointed when we declined, almost coming across as a little pushy. She just seemed a little unprofessional and invasive into our personal relationship, and then presumptuous when, after finally receiving the bill (after 15 minutes from asking for it), she coyly pushed the bill towards me, a male, implying I should pay and commented that I was waiting for my partner, a female, to get her purse out. This staff member dampened our experience of Prezzo that evening. I know staff are meant to be friendly and I don’t mind banter but she was overly involved.

Really enjoyed our visit. Food and service was excellent and even though they'd had a problem with their delivery so didn't have everything in stock they did their best to accommodate our choices. Can highly recommend, have been many times.

We ordered 2 lasanges very bland and took around 10 minutes to be served (microwaved or blasted in the pizza oven) £15.50 each very overpriced. Everything on the menu, more or less, is £15.50. Should have stayed home and got a microwaved meal would have had more taste

Worst experience in a restaurant. Brown lettuce in salad and when I asked for it to be changed it came back with same lettuce. Manager was rude and disrespectful.

Overall a nice experience. Attentive staff with a friendly atmosphere. The food was tasty, although portion size may have gone down a little in the current economic times. We had three courses so got a good taste of everything!

Just walked in to have lunch with my daughter and the waitress was leaning talking to the chef 2 people were in front of us waiting to also be seated She then said in a loud voice for all to here OH MY GOD NOT MORE PEOPLE we then turned around and walked out If you don’t want to work there are so many people who would do a better job

Took friends to Prezzo’s in Gainsborough for their first visit on New Year's Eve, the first time we had all decided to go out for New Year in 5 years. My husband and I have been many times; good food, and service even though very expensive especially the drinks. This time the Service was extremely slow from start to finish nearly an hour for starters to arrive, no beef dishes on the menu and the food all came out separately which meant our food was getting cold whilst waiting for the other dishes. The waitress had to be asked about 3 times for cutlery and the parmesan cheese ( her excuse was she couldn't locate the cheese in an Italian restaurant?) then she dropped a huge limp of it whilst grating it over the dish- this was funny. Then we were asked if we wanted desserts and coffee so were given the menu. She came back and started to take our order and half way through walked off to the bar. We had to call her back and she apologized and said she forgot to come and then informed us that they weren't serving any more as specified by the manager. This was 10pm on New Years Eve? We hadn't completed our meal! The table next to us informed us they were going to Macdonalds for ice cream and coffee. What a joke! When we went to pay our bill, my husband queried why the doors were still open, customers still eating and we couldn't have dessert, all of the staff looked sheepish and the manager said he hadn't given anyone that information and another lady looked cross and said we should not have been told that. The manager even told us that some people had walked out without paying which to be honest didn't surprise us all. No one seemed to know anything. We told them it was poor service and we were disappointed and they had no response! Spoilt the end to our evening!

Grazed at Prezzos in Gainsborough many times, always good food and service and enjoyable even if a tad expensive especially the drinks. We decided to take some friends there on New Years Eve. Very poor service on New Year's Eve, the first New Year we had been out for 5 years. First the dishes came out separately so we weren't eating as a group and it was extremely slow. It was probably 45 mins before the starters arrived and about similar for the main. They had run out of beef so all the beef dishes were off the menu. The waitress was ages bringing the requested not offered parmesan cheese and couldn't locate it(this is an Italian restaurant) then dropped a huge lump of it whilst grating it on the dish (this was funny as it was completely accidental). The strangest part of the evening was when the waitress came to take our dessert order and halfway through taking it disappeared to the counter and never returned. When we called her over she said they weren't serving any more dishes this was about 10pm as the manager had informed her so we couldn't have coffee or dessert and apologised for forgetting to come and inform us. The table next to us were told the same and they said they were going to Macdonalds for a Mcflurry. This was a joke. When we queried this as we went to pay the bill all the staff looked sheepish and all said they hadn't said we couldn't have dessert. A poor end to New Year's Eve. The food was fine but a disaster from start to finish and embarrassing for us recommending it to friends.

Visited on Christmas eve, the food I ordered was not cooked properly and served cold in the middle. It was replaced but totally spoilt the experience & meant eating my meal after everyone else had finished eating. Also customer service very poor.

The restaurant was clean, pleasant atmosphere.. the server we had was lovely and polite. There was one other staff member she was nice enough but at first came across as rude. The meal came in good time, hot and delicious. Can't recommend the place enough.

Went to gainsborough prezzos on Wednesday 1st june had a good evening with our two friends The only thing that spoilt the evening was one of the chefs having a blow out throwing metal containers on the floor and throwing pizza dough on the floor then he stormed out We were sat right next to the pizza oven so we were not impressed Very unprofessional

Very fast service. Food was well cooked. Only given 3 stars because we were seated by the bar and halfway through our meal they put the bins out in front of the bar. Not what you want to see when you are paying to dine out. We will not be going to Prezzo again.

A long overdue return. We eat out regularly all over the country and whilst I know this is a chain it really is very good. I had fried mozzarella followed by chicken breast in a mushroom sauce with sticky toffee pudding to finish. All dishes were very tasty and well presented. We enjoyed the house red also.Staff & service was first class. Seating outside and in. Situated in Marshall's Yard and well worth a visit. Currently card only payments.
