Always love coming to Prezzo Chippenham, friendly efficient staff and great food (as always) I would highly recommend a visit.

The spaghetti bolognaise had hardly any meat in the sauce, had i of paid full price i would of felt robbed

Had a voucher for main meals at the ridiculous price of 99p! Very friendly and attentive servers and welcomer. Good food and drink. Pleasant atmosphere. clean toilets. We enjoy going to this Prezzo - especially with their Special Offers! Nothing to add to my previous review!

7 ex work colleagues meet up at the Chippenham Prezzo twice a year and have always found everything ( food, staff, service, atmosphere and price ) very good, hence why we always return.

The staff are always professional and friendly and provide exceptional service at this restaurant. Only downside is the Muzak, which is intrusive.

Superb place loved their lunch set menu. Must try ....

Love Prezzo and as we've just moved and found one in our new town we gave it a go for our son's birthday. Kids meals are ample (our grandson is 3) and portion sizes are good. Everything we ordered was delicious and service was very good. Will be returning.

The food was nice, but I had the Double cheeseburger and if I’ve not ordered fries all those it wouldn’t be much of a meal and also I ordered those Mac and cheese bites which were so tiny and for £4.50 I felt it was a big rip off. I would expect them to be much bigger than they were.. Overall, I must still go back

Food was standard Prezzo quality, Staff very polite and efficient. Unfortunately the restaurant decor is a bit tired. Tables in particular badly dented and scratched, needs a refurb ! We were only people in there at the time. Afraid the experience means we won’t be returning any time soon , sorry.

A party of 6, 4 adults 2 children, we came here as my Grandma came over from South Carolina, Prezzo was the perfect place for our get together. Our sever Adi was fab, very friendly and helpful, great with the kids, he played rock, paper scissors with my 7 year old daughter (he won) he made us all laugh loads - the food was super yummy! Definitely will come back!! Thank you Prezzo!

Lovely dinner with the family, food was delicious, hot and good timing between courses clean plates all round. Portion sizes great sadly no one has room for desert but next time. The staff working were fabulous, one stopped by to chat to my husband about the football as he had his colours on. The others were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely recommend, good menu choices .

Ordered online for delivery. Arrived a few minutes from the end of the requested half hour slot (which is fine), but food was cold, presumably due to not being transported in insulated bags. Very limited takeaway menu and the quality was OK, not great but also not awful. Better takeaway options out there for similar money.

Had a lovely time, great service! Only down side is that my husband is celiac and it is disappointing that his pizza is always so much smaller than everyone else's. Why do you only do one small size?

Great meal. The restaurant was busy and buzzing (99p menu anyone?) The service was quick and efficient and the food excellent...proper size portions.

Not a good experience. Bournemouth and Bath are so much better!! Please send your staff to shadow their colleagues in Bath, for some staff development! They put ice in a pint of beer!! The pizza had hardly any topping and wasn't anything special either. No real taste. They were practically bald! Perhaps your chef needs some motivation and upskilling? Bloody over priced drinks too and no Pepsi max, as you've stopped selling this. Pepsi max is so much nicer and softer than Coke zero. And as for your tiny 330ml drinks - that's ridiculous. The two young Ladies were polite and attentive. Although asking how our food is, literally 5 minutes after being served, seems just a tick box exercise and not really meant, as we hadn't had time to eat much by then! Chippenham can do better. We will not be returning for a long while. Definitely not worth over £40+ (including 25% meerkat discount). One unhappy customer. Sorry - two unhappy customers! Oh and we've told our friends in Chippenham too and they agreed, that is over priced and bland food too.

We had a fantastic and very attentive waitress, I’m sorry to say we didn’t catch her name but she was brilliant! Kids are free, colouring to do whilst we waited and it was a very pleasant experience

Dropped in for lunch. Not very busy so not much atmosphere but on the plus side excellent service.

First time dining here. Mediocre. Found the place a little pricey. Probably wouldn't be my first choice to dine.

It was very quiet. However our food was fantastic. We had pizzas. The waiter was friendly & chatty without being over bearing. He gave us time to chat before ordering which meant we enjoyed a relaxing evening. My Tastecard meant we also had excellent value for money.

We came here for the Blue Monday deal and were really impressed with both the food and the brilliant service we received from Stefan. Although it was very busy because the deal was on, Stefan still managed to be super welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The food was also delicious (I had the carbonara and my partner had the chicken pizza), and the portions were really generous. Overall we had a great visit and will definitely be coming back :)

A bit of quiet Italian music would be appreciated. 18/01/25: We celebrated my wife's birthday, and beside the usual Prezzo quality I'd like to point out the excellent service we got from Adi, our server tonight. He was funny, knowledgeable and helpful. Adi made our special evening even more special, thank you.

Visited this evening for a meal with friends. The food was great. *If you’re wanting to use student discount check before booking that they will actually accept it* They refused our 25% off the total bill today as apparently it’s not valid in December? However the PREZZO website states it is valid on Friday 6th December. (See photo)

Terribly slow service despite being quiet, for a Sunday lunchtime. Thought food was pleasant but have been suffering from a bought of food poisoning since arriving home. Took three attempts to get a refill for a drink. Such a shame for what has previously been a reliable chain. Overpriced at >£100 being for two adults with two courses, one child’s meal and starter, and one adult main meal. No alcoholic drinks served either.

A very disappointing experience from the very beginning, having to wait at least 15 mins before we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. Then another 15 mins plus wait for our food order to be taken. After 20 mins, starters were served. Then we waited and waited and waited for our main meal. After we had waited 50 mins, (one table came in after us, had eaten their food including dessert and paid during our wait!), we asked if our food was coming in the next 10 mins otherwise we'd cancel our order. We were assured it would be delivered within 10 mins. 10 mins later, it arrived. Some of the food was very disappointing; the vegan Bolognese looked like a kids serving and the salad was very tired and limp looking (see photos). Fries were also forgotten, until we asked. We complained and the drinks, fries and salad were taken off the bill. However, what should have been a lovely gathering of friends just before Christmas was spoilt by shoddy service and poor food. We were informed that the reason for the delay was that the server was new and hadn't put through the order, until we raised issues with the delay. If that was the case, why did we receive our starters and why did no staff member pick up on the fact that we were waiting and waiting? For the record, it wasn't even busy, with many spare tables, despite being a Friday night. Prezzo, your service and food is normal much better than above and I hope this was a one off as I do like your food!

The lady who served us was so nice and made me feel welcome and special. I had the spag bol which was really good and my mum had the milanese, I tried a bit, also good! THE COFFEE IS AMAZING HERE! I had a black americano and my mum had a cappucino. I haven't had a coffee that good in a long time. A lot of black americanos I have had in the past few months at other places have been watery, and not rich, burnt, soy sauce tasting! Not here though! It was delicious!!

I go in regularly with my son. Luckily some staff have stayed recently over last few months, and treat us well. Before it was new staff all the time and they could not cope with all the customers. The lady managing (sad I don’t know her name - I will get next time) dealt with the issues I’ve had and recognised us on every return. The girl who served us again who had blue hair was equally lovely and attentive! Both ladies are an asset to Chippenham prezzo! I have still had some issues with the food being over cooked which again is down to change of kitchen staff I think! Which happens quite regularly as I was told. But she has been amazing in sorting me out some sort of compensation every time. The food is still very tasty though. And for kids it is great value hence why go often as my son is very fussy with food! But he always finishes his three course plates when we go!

We were there for a pizza before travelling by train and the staff was friendly and exceptional. Thank you so much for your good service attitude and exquisite food. The manager is a very kind person and you can see that she really loves her job. 5 stars is not enough.

We were in Naples, Italy, the pizza and spaghetti didn't taste the same there as here, we will definitely come back again and again, someone has talent.

Terrible lately. Staff can’t cope with restaurant and deliveries. They should stop deliveries. They talk to the delivery drivers like the are a piece of dirt.

First time visiting prezzo chippenham.Service was outstanding Amir could not be more customer service orientated.Food was fantastic we had cheese in breadcrumbs with lovely dip,mains where cabonara with chicken ,canelloni with spinach,followed by sticky toffee pudding and tiramisu...lovely looking restaurant well presented.Def recommend and would visit again.

I loved their bruschetta. It is made with fresh tomatoe on pizza bread and with pesto. The lasagne was a dream, too.

The waiter was very nice, but unfortunately the pasta didn't suit my taste. I will try other options next time I come.

We were waiting nearly an hr and half for food as they decided to serve a table of 20 before us even though we were there half an hr before that table, we had 2 young children with us so was very inconvenient waiting until 9pm for food when we entered at 720pm.

Always a good place, never had a bad experience until tonight (29/5/2024). The main issue tonight was the bald bearded bad tempered barman who was the first to greet us, when I say greet it was more of a tut and a throw of the arms like we were some sort of inconvenience, how, we were booked so you knew we were coming! He then proceeded to slam our drinks down on the table, this made us very feel very uncomfortable and he continued to do this when the inevitable happened and he did it to the table opposite us smashing it and spilling the drink over the poor customer but even then he showed her utter contempt barely bothering to clean it up, even had a another strop when she asked for a napkin to dry herself, he just chucked them at her leaving her with a stunned look on her poor face, we also lost count of the amount glasses he smashed behind the bar throwing them around in his little angry strop, where did you get this nut job from? He shouldn’t be let loose near customers! He single hand-idly created a very bad atmosphere in there tonight spoiling what should have been a nice meal out! This should have been a zero star rating however the 3 stars go to the rest of the team who were brilliant particularly our waiter who was the complete opposite of the angry bald beardy bad tempered barman, he served with a smile and a joke with a nothing is too much trouble attitude, he is a credit to Prezzo, I did speak to the waiter when we left and he did apologise, it wasn’t his job to apologise so credit to him 😊 Update, just spoke to our neighbours who visited on Monday 27th April 2024 and had the same issue with the angry barman so obviously not just a one off!

The place wasn't very busy, 3 or 4 other tables but despite this service was slow at every stage, ordering drinks, receiving drinks, ordering food, receiving food, plates being cleared, ordering coffee. We placed our orders, including 2 sides of garlic bread and asked them to be delivered at the same time as mains but they were brought out about 20mins before mains so were cold when the food arrived. Food arrived but the vegetarian pizza one of us ordered had chicken on it. The manager was the person that brought our food over apologised and said a fresh pizza would be made which it was but the rest of us were over halfway through our food when the pizza arrived. When the coffees were brought out the waiter put them down on the table with such force I was genuinely surprised nothing broke. The food was just OK, certainly not worth the money which felt on the high side for a everyday high street chain and didn't justify putting up with the poor service.

We came a few weeks ago on a Sunday and our server Bebe was super helpful with our baby and very friendly. Lovely young guy who was obviously very dedicated to his job and serving customers.

Very slow service. The pizza, a dolce and piquante, was thinly populated. I wish they would get their act together.

Our disappointment with the food was more likely poor choice as opposed to poor quality. Too much lettuce in the salad and no need for rocket in the crab spaghetti. Service was efficient and friendly. The staff were the friendliest team I have experienced in a restaurant for a long time, creating a great atmosphere. What a pleasure.

5 of us arrived promptly for our reservation at 1830. Drinks took a while but we were chatting and it was fine, the young waitress was very polite. I'd like to say we were not informed of delays at this point. The main courses were served at 2000 which means we had been waiting for a considerable amount of time. I also appreciate it was a Friday but the restaurant was only half full. My food (pasta) was served in a cold bowl and was tepid at best. I sent it back. About 4 min later the exact same plate of food was returned to me, this time hot. This tells me it was either microwaved or put into the pizza oven. No apology was given to me instead a male friend at the table was spoken to by the manager. The evening ended by us leaving the restaurant as soon as we were done and going elsewhere for coffee and desert. I emailed the customer service team and had an initial response but nothing further after 5 days. The restaurant itself is looking very tired and shabby in places like scuffed tables and burst seat cushions on the chair. Very much recommend that you don't bother

Really really poor Staff were awful. Food served with raw dough to the pizza. Had been using it since it opened a few times a year but the last 2 times have been really poor. Can’t recommend it anymore.

Wonderful lunch! My husband and I went for the first time on 11th February and had a starter, main course and dessert as well as wine. We really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is spacious, clean and convivial. The food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. The menu was varied and the service was astounding! The two waiters that were there were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. They were super efficient, attentive, had a great sense of humour and truly made us feel very special. We will definitely go back!

The restaurant lacks in atmosphere but the staff were extremely friendly. The gluten-free options were impressive but the regular pizza my companion had was dreadful! For an Italian restaurant the pizza was shameful & when commented on there was no constructive response.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The pizza not so good. If you like your pizza dry with no topping around the outer 3cms then this is the place for you. For the price charged for pizzas you should stop being so tight with the cheese please

Had a lovely goosy gander. Lovely carbonara! Staff were very VERY friendly! But no tiramsu 😨 wouldn't recommend if you wanted tiramsu😂 will deffo come back not for tiramsu though 😂

Don't bother unless you have a day to waste watching their particularly slow staff poncing around at their own leisure in a noisy dirty atmosphere, in return for some mediocre, cold, overpriced meal with half its ingredients missing . Then they might even treat you to an overcharge of £28 on your bill!!! Complete shambles

Brilliant food and drinks. The bloke that was serving us (Stefan) went above and beyond to make my families evening more enjoyable.

I've been in here twice now, and both times, it was such a good experience. The staff are lovely and give you personalised, friendly service. The second time I went we were the first people to arrive at the restaurant and we got a choice of where we'd like to sit which was really thoughtful. We opted for the window seat so we could people watch. They always ask if the food is ok and if there's anything they can get you. We asked for extra water, ice, and ketchup on 3 separate occasions, and they always provided that for us. Staff always go the extra mile to make the customers happy, and it's really nice to see. The food is so tasty and it's always hot. I always order a margarita and house fries with a pepsi max. Portion sizes are good. I really enjoy coming here with friends.

Lovely food and friendly service

Lovely sincere friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble and they are focussed on you being happy! Delicious Crab ravioli, generous and crispy hand thrown pizzas and polished off with Limoncello! Excellent t, always airy, exceptionally clean in the restaurant and bathroom and prompt service. Special thanks to Zac C who was our delightful waiter.

Although the selection on the menu is not my cup of tea there are plenty of dishes to choose from, the food is a very good standard and the service is efficient and friendly. Although the pasta and risotto portions aren't huge. A consistently good restaurant.

Disappointing visit to Prezzo Chippenham yesterday. We have always enjoyed visiting a few times each year previously. The ingredients now being used are definitely cheaper. For example, I used to love the Tre Gusti pizza, but now the chicken is cheaper than previous visits and they've taken off the rosemary which made that pizza in my opinion. My husband ordered an espresso which was so bland so sent it back and the second one was no better. Just cheaper products being used these days which makes it tasteless. We won't be back in a hurry!

Lovely food and a great Italian beer on draft Poretti, a bit on the expensive side for me.

Good quality, very much expected as normal. Visited 3 times so far and the quality had improved since my first. Don't buy any spirits: a double vodka coke is £22.50!

Won a voucher at work a while back & a friend & I can’t this evening, have to say it was the tastiest meal I’ve had in a long time & service excellent - well done all as felt most welcome whereas other places in town can make you feel like a hindrance!!
