Prezzo is normally a fairly decent option for gluten free food but today's visit was disappointing. Gf garlic bread for starter was rock solid and barely tasted of garlic. Chicken Alfredo gf pasta was advertised as having a creamy sauce but it was dry and bland. Gf pizza was rather crunchy too. Will make me think twice about Prezzo if they've gone downhill.

Ordered a Gluten free Pizza that came to the table cold and dry with no taste. When we complained to the waitress she shrugged her shoulders and said "well I must agree it's one of our worst ! ". She did apologise and it was taken off the bill. The strawberry cooler was sickly sweet so that was left too. My mother had fish with peas and gnocchi which she said was okay but the gnocchi was undercooked and slimy. The waiting staff were flicking each other with cleaning cloths and not interested in any of the guests requests. People were waiting to be booked in and seated for over 5 minutes whilst the staff seemed oblivious. We won't be returning

Went for lunch at Prezzo took us 10 mins to get a menu even though there were only 5 people in the restaurant. Then another 10 mins to get served the food was rubbish had a peperoni pizza that had zero taste dough was raw, tomato base was watery and pepperoni was cheap and didn’t taste like anything. Cost £14 I’d recommend going up the road and actually getting a good pizza Pepsi max 330ml was £3.75 save yourself the trouble and go somewhere good.

We were left waiting for ages and when we asked where our food was they told us that we had the time to wait, like what??? No we didn’t. When our food finally came it was clearly rushed and items were missing

Our starters were fine but my wife's sea bream was overcooked and my chicken pasta was bland and the meat pappy. Even using a discount code our bill was more than we paid two nights before at a local independent italian where the food was excellent. Would not return or recommend.

I'm not really sure where to start with this one, Our table had just been cleaned, although you would not think so. considering there were not many people in there, it took ages to get a drink, we ordered our food, my wife certainly had a better meal than myself. I had the crab spaghetti it was so bland, really needed a good seasoning, and the crab was obviously frozen, not fresh. I had a side of calamari that had been well over cooked. Afterr being served nobody came to ask how our meal was. My wife went to the toilet to find no tissue available, I reported this to a member of staff and she literally took no notice. I asked for the bill paid and still not asked how our meal was, if we enjoyed it, nothing! To be honest, if my wife had not enjoyed her meal, I would have refused to pay.

Yesterday was my first visit to Prezzo and I wasn’t disappointed. The food and staff were amazing but one member of staff was very thoughtful and caring providing me with a dessert when my other diners declined. I didn’t get his name but if he reads this he will know it’s him. Thank you so much. The dessert was amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant. First class service. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Good food quality overall, a bit overpriced, the staff sometimes has an attitude, not sure if they are overworked or tired, as the place is clearly understaffed. Not my first choice for pizza in Canterbury though.

Went for our 4 year wedding anniversary and our first meal out with our 10 month old son. Had a lovely waitress Emily and she was wonderful with our son too. Great service & excellant food and drink. 10/10.

Have visited this Prezzos several times, the food and service are always excellent. Best Prezzos we’ve been to and that’s quite a few!!

5 stars all round, fairly quiet after the lunch time rush so we could choose anywhere to sit. Great service from the staff, orders taken quickly, food was piping hot. Would definitely recommend.

I miss the one in Maidstone, we used to go fairly often but this was a treat going further to Canterbury from where we live and was not disappointed at all. Food quality fantastic, quick service and genuinely good food. Just wish one was closer to where we live again!!

Ordered spaghetti and prawns, new game find the prawns. And garlic bread lacked a bit of garlic forms taste. Also they have changed there beer selection, no Peroni.

We went for lunch on a Wednesday and it was fairly quiet as it is a very large restaurant. The service and food was very good especially their new pizzeria pizza in the picture. Always good quality in Prezzo.

Very disappointed. The atmosphere was depressing to start with. The decor wasn't very enticing, and to be honest these were the restaurants best features. The food was bland, tasteless pasta dishes and the garlic bread was half buttered.. we complained about this the waitress was very rude. She then got the manager who frankly was worse than his employee stating this isn't a Michelin starred restaurant when we complained the food was bland . Eventually after my partner was insulted by the manager for speaking to myself , we left after getting a partial refund. Needless to say we will not be visiting a prezzo establishment again in a hurry. In all honesty if there was a no stars option it would receive that!!

Went here with the family after seeing a show at The Marlowe. Very nice food and generally good staff. After paying the bill I approached a member of staff to point out that the sofa seat at our table seemed to be broken and both our children hit their heads on the shelf directly above the back of the seat. There was also torn fabric and exposed sharp tacks. I suggested perhaps don’t seat little children there in future. The member of staff had a very dismissive attitude, saying that was the design and she wasn’t responsible for putting it right, as if I expected her to turn into Bob the Builder and fix it there and then. Very disappointing end to what was otherwise a good experience.

Nice, upmarket modern Italian restaurant on the main drag / high street in Canterbury. Best to book although there was plenty of free tables when we arrived at 17.00pm. No parking but that is the same for all of Canterbury, you must use a public pay car park if travelling by car. The Bruschetta I had was honestly one of the best I've ever had, it came with honey and was unlike any Bruschetta I had, had before. Pizza was also good. Drinks can be expensive and generally this is not a cheap Italian restaurant, It cost around £235 for 5 people including 3 drinks each. Friendly efficient staff.

Always a fantastic family meal, staff is super friendly and great with the kids- and the food is always fab!

Great evening, the waitress Millie Grace was attentive, polite and could tell that she enjoys her job and or speaking to customers couldn’t fault her at all, the staff working this night was great all round, the food tasted incredible and we would return, thankyou prezzo staff.

Always a warm welcome, friendly staff food is good just a shame its bit dark so hard to read menu.

Went there today 12th feb walked in first thing I was told that they do not except cash ( how silly) how could an establishment like Prezzo refuse cash , two people cooking one waiter and one barman running the business , they were sorry for serving us late they were sorry for delivering our drinks late they were sorry for bringing our meal late and were also sorry for bringing our bill late , food was alright but poor service , I honestly think Brexit damaged Canterbury , but it’s no excuse for prezzo .

Went here with my partner this evening, was served by Oscar, brilliant server. Constantly on the move, making sure the customers were served. Food was brilliant and if you could give Oscar a raise please do. Absolute professional! Thank you

Me and my bestfriend went to Prezzo for a bottomless brunch on Thursday and it’s safe to say we left feeling satisfied and happy with the food, cocktails and the service! Our waitress Lauren was amazing, she ensured we had a drink on the go at all times during our 2 hour slot and was very attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend to any to try out the bottomless brunch menu here, the pizza was delicious and the cocktails were amazing!

Had a delicious after panto meal. Food was excellent and a particular mention to the manager, who looked after us. Genuinely attentive service that needs to be recognised, thank you.

Went there on 3rd December Sunday around 4:30pm asking for a table for 2, the restaurant was half empty but as soon as we mentioned Tastecard (the policy says it can be used there until 8th december), the tall brown haired waiter immediately said "we are fully booked until 7pm" . We asked if we could finish quickly but still he refused to give us a table. We ended up going to Zizzi instead and guess what, we walked past Prezzo at 5:45pm and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant! Absolutely disgusted by the lies and have complained to Tastecard.

Worst meal of my life at Canterbury Prezzo. Been vegetarian for 43 years, ordered a calzone, started eating it only for it to contain chicken ham and pepperoni due to a kitchen “mix up”. Now feel gutted and upset and not sure it was taken particularly seriously. Will never eat in a Prezzo again!

Small portions unfortunately. Had the arrabiata which I always have but the prices have gone up (understably) but the portion size also reduced. Pasta is cheep so it wouldn't hurt to fill the plate up even if it was the same amount of sauce. It's a shame as I wouldn't call that good value for money anymore. Come on Prezzo, put more pasta on the plate! The dish was really tasty though.

Won’t be ordering from again, very inconsistent with their orders. Last order I got gluten free as I am allergic and they sent full gluten pasta and half the order was missing, the chips were wrong. But giving the benefit of the doubt, I went to order again and they cancelled the order with no explanation ordered over an hour before close.

Food was good. Service was great. Quite quiet on a Tuesday evening.

Had an absolutely delicious pizza and finished with the sticky toffee pudding. Certainly one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and the pudding was sublime! Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!

My whole order was stone cold!! They didn’t let us know that they were out of an item and lied to say they had contacted me, I had my phone with me during the whole ordering time! Awful, just awful!

Great food and service. Despite being very busy for a weekday, we were served promptly. The music could have been turned down a little. Overall, excellent- not cheap, but it is good food.

Great service and atmosphere which doesn't make up for disappointing meals unfortunately. At £19 a carbonara should be both generous and delicious and it was neither. In fact a third of the plate was empty and the taste was underwhelming. Worst part was the desert (prezzo's best ever chocolate cake) which was probably the worst ever chocolate cake (pun intended)-cold and dry as bone. £95 bill for two persons is a lot even with today's cost of living. Don't think I'll be returning any time soon.

Very busy place. Service was good but we had only just sat down and picked up the drinks and food menu to be greeted by the waitress asking what we wanted to eat and drink already. Prices expensive for what they are and portion size would leave you eating again that eve. We had dessert elsewhere. Food was very good.

Staff was welcoming and very friendly. We had delicious food ( beef burgers and pizza's) which was all cooked to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal out as a family!

Ein Stern auch zu viel. Was ich bestellt habe nicht gehabt zweimal das Essen zurück gegangen und dritte mal Pizza war nicht gut ganz hell und und schmeckt nicht. Arancini Kürbis war ganz schlimm Personal nicht höflich und keine Anung von Speisekarte. Nicht zu empfehlen

I only have good words for this amazing restaurant. Food is delicious but the waitress named Ruxi made this place even better. We arrived really late almost closing time but she still managed to serve us with food and drinks and lots of smiles. Thank you Ruxi for being so kind😊

Got there at 8pm on a Monday and was told "I'll just check with the kitchen" when I asked for a table. They obviously wanted to close early even though the area was still quite busy. Went to another nearby restaurant where I was more welcome.

Food and wine were very nice. We sat down at approximately 8.15pm and there were two other tables seated. We watched four lots of people turned away because they hadn’t booked even though the restaurant was empty. We couldn’t understand this as so many restaurants are closing down and people are losing their jobs. It seemed pure laziness.

Karina was an absolute star making sure all our needs were met, even got water for our dog! Food was perfect, with decent sized portions.

We had a lovely meal here. The service was excellent! Everyone was upbeat and chatty. The food came out quickly as the restaurant was surprisingly quiet. Every dish was hot and flavorful. A super evening! I'd recommend Prezzo in Canterbury.

Great restaurant located on the Canterbury High St. A firm favourite Great food and you can use your taste card for discounts, but not on Fridays after 5pm tho!

Good Italian, very large building and peaceful. We sat by window and enjoys the high street view. Food was good.

Repas rapide et bon Rien de vraiment spécial pour ce restaurant. Fait son office et permet de manger rapidement. Proseco un peu chaud mais pizza et risotto très bons. Service agréable quoi que un peu lent.

Our local Prezzo has closed so happy to find Prezzo in Canterbury. My wife and I had great meals in lovely surroundings . The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again if in Canterbury. Highly recommended.

food was very bland and overpriced, service was shocking. Had to wait over 20 minutes to get the bill, the restaurant was not busy but i counted 10 tables were covered in dirty dishes. NOT worth the money!! i would recommend a smaller independent restaurant in canterbury instead.

Staff welcoming and we had a great service from Priscilla Food was tasty and plentiful. Amongst the many eateries in Canterbury I would say Prezzo is highly recommended.

hello hello Prezzo team! To be honest, I didn't know about this restaurant until we entered here by chance. Ok menu, ok prices. Entering, we were greeted by big smiles, a 5-star staff. Priscilla was the one to serve us, a nice, attentive and kind girl. Beef chianti was the star of the evening, a dish that we recommend. Very nice location, close to the center and the river that crosses Canterbury. We recommend this place and we want to especially thank Ruxanda for the attention she paid (I hope I remembered her name well), she made our evening more beautiful, recommended places to visit, surroundings, a girl who is beautiful from all points of view. The pizza is not their biggest asset, but this can be fixed. Overall 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Disappointed. I realise that prices have increased every where, but I didn't expect the quality and quantity of the food to be impacted too. My chicken caesar salad had much less chicken than normal and the plate was ringed with thinly sliced cucumber, to make the dish look bigger. There were fewer prawns in the dish my wife has and even the desserts suffered, with only 2 cherries in the cherry and chocolate sundae.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely decor and ambience. Staff are friendly and attentive. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious, the burrata burger is insanely good, one for a treat/cheat day! I had braised beef in Chianti with porchini mash which I'd never had before but was absolutely gorgeous. The Biscoff banoffee cheesecake was to die for, don't miss it!! Our lunch was an absolute treat, thoroughly enjoyed every single bite and won't hesitate to go back!

The food was just okay. The Beef Ragu arancini was decent, but definitely not worth the £8.75 that they charged for it. As for the pizza (I had the tre gusti), it was okay, nothing special - not sure why they cut it up and put it in a rectangular box rather than the traditional square box that most pizzas arrive in. Honestly, my primary critique is that you're paying quite a fair bit of money for food that is average at best. Overall, I would not recommend.

Pastas were good but tiny portions. Also, no disposable cutlery, which wasn't a problem this time but easily could have been.

Took a while to be seated and served. Starters were then bought out at the same time as mains, which we weren't given a choice about. Some then cancelled late food to the table, but these weren't taken off the bill. We go every year after panto, but I personally don't think we'll go again next year. Food was good though but it's now over priced for what it is.

Mains took a while to come and when they did, my dad's sea bass was very over done and unenjoyable. This was sorted out on the bill and perhaps a lesson learned by my dad to not order a fish dish at an Italian chain restaurant. Everything was fine and my 10month old enjoyed his first pizza.

A very busy Saturday, with everyone Christmas shopping and wanting something to eat at the end of the day. It wasn't surprising that Prezzo was busy at the time we arrived for our booked table. It was panic, we need a table for five. Once seated, we were allowed to take a few moments to settle in and browse the menu. Even though they were extremely busy and a little short staffed in the kitchen, our food was not rushed. It was cooked perfectly. Whilst waiting we witnessed one of the chefs stretching out a pizza dough in plain sight which was great to see. I would definitely recommend the Prezzo, great staff, Neely was our host for the evening and made our stay an enjoyable experience. Very attentive throughout the evening. Atmosphere was buzzing. With today's ever rising costs to keep an establishment like this going, I'd say it was fairly priced too.
