Millie-Grace was so lovely and accommodating. We had a lovely time and the food and drinks were really good. It was nice to try things you wouldn’t get at home!

Really welcoming and supportive staff, helping us celebrate a birthday in our group. Can't fault the food and customer service. We will be returning 👍

Often used before a show at the Marlowe, Prezzo is a well positioned and great pizza restaurant. Meat lover is my favourite choice.

Probably the worst food and service I have had in the last 10 years. Waiter near useless, food poor quality and low quality ingredients. Pasta tasteless… Carbonara made with cream!?????? Thought this was an Italian…. Would not recommend.

First of all, Atmosphere is not good, toilet is not cleaned well, I convinced my girlfriend to stay and order the food, we wanted to order chicken Milanese with spaghetti Bolognese on the side, the answer was we can not make it , it will cause a confusion in the kitchen, for roughly 20 quid food ( one of the most expensive dish on the menu) can not cook for side substitution while you have 10 people in the restaurant, do not run the chain ... !!!!

Such an amazing meal at prezzo. Beautiful girl called Nina served us. She was extremely polite, welcoming and happy. Nothing was to much trouble for her. I hope she gets many more positive reviews she so deserves them!!

We arrived at about 3.30pm and the restaurant was fairly empty (2 other tables in use) we were a family of 5. Orders were taken after about 20 mins, when the food finally arrived after about 45 mins it was cold ! Being so hungry I just ate it as I wasn't prepared to wait another 45 mins for it to be redone (most likely put in the microwave to reheat🤷‍♂️). Once we had all finished our mains we waited over 40 mins for the table to be emptied and to be able to then order our deserts. Yes the restaurant was starting to get busier by then but it still shouldn't have taken that long ! Once we chose and ordered our deserts we then waited another 40 minutes for them to arrive ! Although that was bad enough whilst we were just starting to eat them the waitress came to out table and said that we need to hurry up as our table had another booking on it in 15 minutes !!!! I then said that we would of been out of here if it wasn't for the fact that everything was taking so long to recieve ! She then proceeded to tell me that if they had know that we were going to go into the restaurant for a meal they would of got more staff in to cope !! I've never eaten in a prezzo restaurant before and after this i don't think I ever will again ! Horrible service and manners from some of the staff and shocking waiting time for the food as well !!

Decent Prezzo had a good meal and good atmosphere

Really enjoyed our visit today. Bella was an extremely cheerful, friendly and professional server. Prezzo had stopped doing a cocktail that we liked but we showed her a photo of our last visit and she was able to get the same cocktail made up for us. She was very attentive and made our visit even more enjoyable. The pizza and lasagne were delicious.

Food was really nice and came quickly, lovely atmosphere and staff.. I gave service 4 stars only because when it came to paying I had cash and was told that was ok but I wouldn’t get my change! Which I found a bit odd as surely it’s my money.

Get the dolce and piccante pizza, sweet and spicy and delicious! Eleanor was an incredible server, so warm and welcoming and friendly. This place has a GF separate menu too for anyone who's intolerant

Fabulous venue and staff super helpful and attentive BUT what has happened to the food choices? Portion sizes are greatly reduced in size and all 6 of us were very disappointed with the presentation/basicness of our dishes. This place used to be great and you felt you were eating upmarket pizza/pasta dishes in a lovely restaurant (venue is still great) but food presentation and layout has really gone downhill now - very sad Sadly we will not be returning in a hurry but will now try out independent food establishments in the City

Overpriced, small portions and disappointing

No point coming here to be honest. I have been to this specific prezzo about 3 times now. First time we waited ages for our order to be taken and even longer for our food to actually come out (it was a tuesday evening and NOT busy) and when the food finally came out it wasn't even fresh or hot. Second time we eventually gave up coz it took about 45 mins for them to even take our order. The most recent time was nothing new. Still took forever, drinks were warm and ice had all frozen, food took unnecessary amount of time. but the waiter was lovely and it is obvious that everyone else had a good time. just a shame the wait is so long and off putting.

Lovely meal for New Year’s Eve. We was in for 5-6pm. Great service and food, the waiting staff all worked so well as team and really was attentive to all tables rather than there being a clear divide on whose tables were who.

We were doing ome Christmas shopping and decided we needed sustenance. I ordered the usual, the calzone. I was just disappointed. It definitely was not as good as usual. It was alright, but just not as good. But how do you say this is alright but not your usual tasty food. My daughter loved hers so it could have been me. Will go again. Need to check.

Came to the Canterbury location and to say I was disappointed is an understatement, the food was nice however, the toilets were not in a clean condition, they had tissue all over the floor and there was a toilet brush that had clearly not been cleaned in a while, the service wasn’t too great, asked for the bill and waited for about 10 minutes as the staff was standing around chatting and on there phones. Felt very unprofessional.

Order not ready for collection at 14:40. Had to chase several times even though order was ready to collect in just eat app. Received order at 15:05 after chasing several times.

Had a fantastic meal there tonight manager game over and apologized as all are meals did not come out at the same time and he gave us free puddings a really nice manager and all the staff are friendly

Went in on a dark, wet, windy Thursday evening and had a lovely meal. Atmosphere was welcoming as soon as we entered, food was excellent, service spot on. Couldn't fault our visit !

Yesterday, I visited Prezzo for the very first time, and overall, it was a delightful experience! I ordered the *Pinsa Chicken, Mushroom, and Pepper*, which was absolutely delicious. The pinsa had a perfect balance of flavors, with a light, crispy base and a generous topping of tender chicken, earthy mushrooms, and sweet peppers. It was satisfying without feeling heavy—definitely a standout dish! To accompany the meal, I tried the *Wild Strawberry Lemonade*. While it was refreshing and fruity, I found it a bit on the sweet side for my taste. That said, it might appeal more to those with a sweeter palate. The ambiance at Prezzo added to the experience. The restaurant had a cozy yet modern vibe, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall visit. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommended for a casual yet quality dining experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

was missing one of the Italia no meals, no refund no replacement meal. really not happy when spent nearly £72 on a meal and one meal missing

Good food but service was so slow - over an hour before our mains arrived, and drinks arrived after the starters. Turned a relaxed meal before a show into a rush. First choice gluten free main was also not available. This branch did not have the number of staff to cover dine in and delivery orders.

I took the decision to go at prezzo to eat for the first time. I was very surprise when I ordered a calzone, my favorite food, and i seen that is looks perfect and i was never seen a calzone like this one! It is not just this.... The taste was AMAIZING and ABSOLUTLY DELICIOUS! Thank you so so much and I will come back with my family as well simply because they really love to have a great food like this one! Congratulation for the chef!

Saturday I came with my friends to take the diner! The best experience! The food was amazing and looks perfect! All I can say... CONGRATULATIONS FOR CHEF! For sure I will come back! 😍😍

Food was great but we were not asked about allergies and service was slow, simply too few staff.

Food was bland, no flavour and way too expensive for what it was. Service was ok, not overly welcoming.

Got some lunch today. For half of us, the pizza was ok, for another friend the pizza was acceptable, but the courgette and olives pizza was horrible. That pizza should be off the menu. It had no olives whatsoever, the courgette had a vinegar taste, unless the ingredient was olive oil, it wasn't mentioned that way on the menu. That pizza is now the second worst pizza I've ever had. We also had truffle chips, I could smell the truffle oil, but there was no actual truffle. That is disappointing. Don't try the courgette and olives pizza. The worst!

Came in as a table of five today before the show at the Marlowe. Was absolutely blown away by the professionalism and amazing attitude from our server, Emily. Not to mention the amazing food, the service was really the cherry on top.

Ignored for 25 mins after being seated. Served after being ignored by waitresses and going to the bar to ask for service. Food was edible but nothing special. Won't be going back 😕very disappointing.

Appalling service, having made a reservation waited 5 minutes before anyone came to take us to a table waited a further 30 minutes without anyone taking a drinks or food order. Walked out and went to a competitor across the road. Have used Prezzos a great a lot in our local area and this is the worst Prezzo experience ever. Not recommended

Prezzo is normally a fairly decent option for gluten free food but today's visit was disappointing. Gf garlic bread for starter was rock solid and barely tasted of garlic. Chicken Alfredo gf pasta was advertised as having a creamy sauce but it was dry and bland. Gf pizza was rather crunchy too. Will make me think twice about Prezzo if they've gone downhill.

Ordered a Gluten free Pizza that came to the table cold and dry with no taste. When we complained to the waitress she shrugged her shoulders and said "well I must agree it's one of our worst ! ". She did apologise and it was taken off the bill. The strawberry cooler was sickly sweet so that was left too. My mother had fish with peas and gnocchi which she said was okay but the gnocchi was undercooked and slimy. The waiting staff were flicking each other with cleaning cloths and not interested in any of the guests requests. People were waiting to be booked in and seated for over 5 minutes whilst the staff seemed oblivious. We won't be returning

Went for lunch at Prezzo took us 10 mins to get a menu even though there were only 5 people in the restaurant. Then another 10 mins to get served the food was rubbish had a peperoni pizza that had zero taste dough was raw, tomato base was watery and pepperoni was cheap and didn’t taste like anything. Cost £14 I’d recommend going up the road and actually getting a good pizza Pepsi max 330ml was £3.75 save yourself the trouble and go somewhere good.

We were left waiting for ages and when we asked where our food was they told us that we had the time to wait, like what??? No we didn’t. When our food finally came it was clearly rushed and items were missing

Our starters were fine but my wife's sea bream was overcooked and my chicken pasta was bland and the meat pappy. Even using a discount code our bill was more than we paid two nights before at a local independent italian where the food was excellent. Would not return or recommend.

I'm not really sure where to start with this one, Our table had just been cleaned, although you would not think so. considering there were not many people in there, it took ages to get a drink, we ordered our food, my wife certainly had a better meal than myself. I had the crab spaghetti it was so bland, really needed a good seasoning, and the crab was obviously frozen, not fresh. I had a side of calamari that had been well over cooked. Afterr being served nobody came to ask how our meal was. My wife went to the toilet to find no tissue available, I reported this to a member of staff and she literally took no notice. I asked for the bill paid and still not asked how our meal was, if we enjoyed it, nothing! To be honest, if my wife had not enjoyed her meal, I would have refused to pay.

Yesterday was my first visit to Prezzo and I wasn’t disappointed. The food and staff were amazing but one member of staff was very thoughtful and caring providing me with a dessert when my other diners declined. I didn’t get his name but if he reads this he will know it’s him. Thank you so much. The dessert was amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant. First class service. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Good food quality overall, a bit overpriced, the staff sometimes has an attitude, not sure if they are overworked or tired, as the place is clearly understaffed. Not my first choice for pizza in Canterbury though.

Went for our 4 year wedding anniversary and our first meal out with our 10 month old son. Had a lovely waitress Emily and she was wonderful with our son too. Great service & excellant food and drink. 10/10.

5 stars all round, fairly quiet after the lunch time rush so we could choose anywhere to sit. Great service from the staff, orders taken quickly, food was piping hot. Would definitely recommend.

I miss the one in Maidstone, we used to go fairly often but this was a treat going further to Canterbury from where we live and was not disappointed at all. Food quality fantastic, quick service and genuinely good food. Just wish one was closer to where we live again!!

Ordered spaghetti and prawns, new game find the prawns. And garlic bread lacked a bit of garlic forms taste. Also they have changed there beer selection, no Peroni.

We went for lunch on a Wednesday and it was fairly quiet as it is a very large restaurant. The service and food was very good especially their new pizzeria pizza in the picture. Always good quality in Prezzo.

Very disappointed. The atmosphere was depressing to start with. The decor wasn't very enticing, and to be honest these were the restaurants best features. The food was bland, tasteless pasta dishes and the garlic bread was half buttered.. we complained about this the waitress was very rude. She then got the manager who frankly was worse than his employee stating this isn't a Michelin starred restaurant when we complained the food was bland . Eventually after my partner was insulted by the manager for speaking to myself , we left after getting a partial refund. Needless to say we will not be visiting a prezzo establishment again in a hurry. In all honesty if there was a no stars option it would receive that!!

Went here with the family after seeing a show at The Marlowe. Very nice food and generally good staff. After paying the bill I approached a member of staff to point out that the sofa seat at our table seemed to be broken and both our children hit their heads on the shelf directly above the back of the seat. There was also torn fabric and exposed sharp tacks. I suggested perhaps don’t seat little children there in future. The member of staff had a very dismissive attitude, saying that was the design and she wasn’t responsible for putting it right, as if I expected her to turn into Bob the Builder and fix it there and then. Very disappointing end to what was otherwise a good experience.

Nice, upmarket modern Italian restaurant on the main drag / high street in Canterbury. Best to book although there was plenty of free tables when we arrived at 17.00pm. No parking but that is the same for all of Canterbury, you must use a public pay car park if travelling by car. The Bruschetta I had was honestly one of the best I've ever had, it came with honey and was unlike any Bruschetta I had, had before. Pizza was also good. Drinks can be expensive and generally this is not a cheap Italian restaurant, It cost around £235 for 5 people including 3 drinks each. Friendly efficient staff.

Great evening, the waitress Millie Grace was attentive, polite and could tell that she enjoys her job and or speaking to customers couldn’t fault her at all, the staff working this night was great all round, the food tasted incredible and we would return, thankyou prezzo staff.

Went there today 12th feb walked in first thing I was told that they do not except cash ( how silly) how could an establishment like Prezzo refuse cash , two people cooking one waiter and one barman running the business , they were sorry for serving us late they were sorry for delivering our drinks late they were sorry for bringing our meal late and were also sorry for bringing our bill late , food was alright but poor service , I honestly think Brexit damaged Canterbury , but it’s no excuse for prezzo .

Went here with my partner this evening, was served by Oscar, brilliant server. Constantly on the move, making sure the customers were served. Food was brilliant and if you could give Oscar a raise please do. Absolute professional! Thank you

Me and my bestfriend went to Prezzo for a bottomless brunch on Thursday and it’s safe to say we left feeling satisfied and happy with the food, cocktails and the service! Our waitress Lauren was amazing, she ensured we had a drink on the go at all times during our 2 hour slot and was very attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend to any to try out the bottomless brunch menu here, the pizza was delicious and the cocktails were amazing!

Had a delicious after panto meal. Food was excellent and a particular mention to the manager, who looked after us. Genuinely attentive service that needs to be recognised, thank you.

Went there on 3rd December Sunday around 4:30pm asking for a table for 2, the restaurant was half empty but as soon as we mentioned Tastecard (the policy says it can be used there until 8th december), the tall brown haired waiter immediately said "we are fully booked until 7pm" . We asked if we could finish quickly but still he refused to give us a table. We ended up going to Zizzi instead and guess what, we walked past Prezzo at 5:45pm and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant! Absolutely disgusted by the lies and have complained to Tastecard.

Small portions unfortunately. Had the arrabiata which I always have but the prices have gone up (understably) but the portion size also reduced. Pasta is cheep so it wouldn't hurt to fill the plate up even if it was the same amount of sauce. It's a shame as I wouldn't call that good value for money anymore. Come on Prezzo, put more pasta on the plate! The dish was really tasty though.

Worst meal of my life at Canterbury Prezzo. Been vegetarian for 43 years, ordered a calzone, started eating it only for it to contain chicken ham and pepperoni due to a kitchen “mix up”. Now feel gutted and upset and not sure it was taken particularly seriously. Will never eat in a Prezzo again!

Won’t be ordering from again, very inconsistent with their orders. Last order I got gluten free as I am allergic and they sent full gluten pasta and half the order was missing, the chips were wrong. But giving the benefit of the doubt, I went to order again and they cancelled the order with no explanation ordered over an hour before close.

Had an absolutely delicious pizza and finished with the sticky toffee pudding. Certainly one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and the pudding was sublime! Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!

My whole order was stone cold!! They didn’t let us know that they were out of an item and lied to say they had contacted me, I had my phone with me during the whole ordering time! Awful, just awful!

Great food and service. Despite being very busy for a weekday, we were served promptly. The music could have been turned down a little. Overall, excellent- not cheap, but it is good food.

Great vegetarian options (a whole menu!). Fast polite service. A solid option! Recommend the pizza which is cooked from the pizza oven at the back as you can see
