Prezzo - Gainsborough in West Lindsey

been here a few times over the years and we were slightly disappointed this time. The waitress seemed a little disinterested and not overly friendly. The food itself was mainly just Ok but that's about it, although the ice cream they serve is superb. The chap behind the bar managed to knock a glass bottle(?) onto the floor. Now he did make an effort to clean the immediate area up, using paper towels (maybe not the wisest choice with glass) and then another chap mopped the area (probably picking up glass splinters in the mop in the process, which will turn up somewhere else later). However glass fragments travel when glass shatters and you could still see bits of it laying around, not the best when there are young children in the restaurant.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch with my friend. Marc looked after us very well, he was very knowledgeable about the menu, and went out of his way to make sure our dietary requirements were met, he is a credit to the restaurant.

We had a lovely family meal here. The food was excellent and very well prepared and served. Our waitress Charlotte was lovely, very polite, friendly and made our experience enjoyable. The other staff members were also friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, it was a Sunday evening so wasn't too busy.

Went yesterday for the first time. Ambiance and deco was good. When the food arrived first sight the portion of the chips was terrible. My pizza was luke warm at best and the crust was rock hard. The £1 per chip was also lukewarm. My partners meal was the same. I don't get it atleast serve fresh and warm food. When we complained the server explained because the pizza was a vegan pizza it's meant to be rock hard. At that point I thought forget it. Was the server bothered when we complained, no I don't think so. Because I ate so little we decided to order a chocolate cake. Sorry ate half of the cake which probably bought from a supermarket and charged us £8. Sorry maybe I got it wrong because the tesco chocolate cake tastes better. Would I recommend absolutely not on my life. Best try a family run restaurant that actually cares, and serves you hot food.

Good food, then that's what you get. As an added treat, you can sit and look at your food sitting on the pass, whilst the staff ignore it. Then you can watch them go outside for a cigarette break, whilst your waiting for your main, but there's no one to cook it as they are outside. And forget washing your hands on returning to cook. And yet more to come as the waiter has clearly ordered his dinner, which he keeps coming and eating as it sits on the pass. Yes, everyone gets to eat here, even when on duty.

The staff were very good and friendly. Food was enjoyable if a little expensive and the pizza wasn’t as big as I was expecting but was quite filling. The only disappointment was, when I ordered dessert (biscoff cheesecake) I asked for the chocolate sauce to be replaced with a little cream. I wasn’t told at any point that this would cost an extra £1.50 on top of the (expensive) price of the dessert. Had it been mentioned I wouldn’t have had the cream. Something to bear in mind for the future - and the reason we dropped a point.

Called in this morning @ 9.15 for breakfast. The service & food were excellent. All freshly cooked & great value. There's a voucher online for breakfast discount, but to be honest, the price even without it was comparable with everywhere else. We sat outside as lovely weather. Will definitely try again.

My husband ordered the calzone which was all crust. I ordered the pea ravioli, not a great deal of it for the price The server didn’t even let us finish our drinks before bringing the card machine over for us to pay Overall not a good experience Will be visiting the new restaurant down the round next time

We go here for a treat as it is pricey for our budget. The drinks seem to get more expensive with each visit. There seems to be much less choice on the menu since we last went. My wife really enjoyed a chicken dish but it has been discontinued. Its good to find gluten free pasta on the menu for myself but the carbonara was very peppery and lacked any sauce. The place was quite full but it seemed excessively noisy to the extent it was hard work to talk to each other. It wasn't the fun birthday night out for my wife and we left feeling disappointed.

We’ve just come back from having my Birthday tea this evening. We have been here before so knew what to expect. We ordered our starters and mains and within minutes the starters arrived - garlic bread and fried mozzarella pieces which we shared. Our pepperoni pizza and spaghetti bolognaise arrived after we’d finished the starters. For desserts we both had lemon meringue pie. We really enjoyed our meals. It was quiet, only a couple of other tables in when we arrived. Will be back

Our first visit to Prezzo and we will definitely be planning a return soon! Food was delicious, value for money and quick!! Think it may well have been the nicest carbonara I have had! The service was also exemplary!

We have been using Prezzo Gainsborough for a number of years and in that time we have seen garlic mushrooms disappear from the starter menu along with king prawns and I seem to recall soup being on the menu too at one time but not anymore.. the mains menu seems to have shrunk also along with the portion sizes.. there is a new Italian restaurant due to open soon just across the road from Prezzo and I think Prezzo are going to find themselves with a lot of empty seats very soon! If you treat your customers with contemp then it will come back to bite you, i doubt very much if I’ll be using Prezzo ever again .

Food was delicious but the lady who served us was very rude…rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a jug of water for my drink….

I absolutely love prezzo,but tonight the pizza was a great let down I have had better from a frozen one!! 6 piece of pepperoni a scattering of andua sausage and a few chiiles for £16!!!! Pizza had no sauce on the base even the waitress said this No cheese you couldn't cut the base as it just cracked WASTE OF MONEY will not be returning anytime soon

Over priced not worth the money £21 for a garlic bread £25 bottle of wine £17 for a minute burger feel totally ripped off would never go back or recommend

Had Crab and Lobster Ravioli. Staff were excellent , food was mediocre! Found no crab or lobster in the ravioli , and was told crab and lobster was melted into a bisque. Menu stated “cramed with crab and lobster “ Tasted just vinegar 🤷‍♀️ Overall very disappointing, especially for the price . Dissapointed the wine I usually drink wasn't served however after being advised by the waitress that the rose was sweet ordered it (it wasn't but felt rude to complain)... after leaving us food menus the waitress had ample opportunity to tell us the friers were broken...came back to subsequently take our order ...then inform us after we had decided...oh frier is broke....guess didn't tell us before we sat down as we would of had choice whether to stay and eat....too late after we started our drinks...bit underhand and left a Dissapointed taste.

Booked the restaurant to celebrate our thirty seven anniversary, we were not disappointed we were looked after very well the food was fantastic and well cooked and presented. When I booked asked for what occasion we had booked for forgot all about us till the waitress came up with the dessert menu and said as it was our anniversary the restaurant would like to give us a free dessert. When presented with dessert they sang happy anniversary which made me and wife feel very special. It was a great end to a very special day.

Lovely restaurant, nicely decorated. Friendly welcoming staff. Had really nice pizzas, crust a little too thick for us but they were very tasty and hot. Wine was lovely, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

The service from Keeley was excellent as was the food. The restaurant was clean, with a good atmosphere, we had a good table and all the staff were helpful.

Food was good, drinks expensive but despite showing voucher on entry and on sitting wasn't put on bill but £30 service charge wasn't aware of this ( like to do own tips). Paid and where queried asked to pay again and refund would be given by Friday 18th @ 4pm latest. Have now been chasing around trying to get refund of £187 which they have, phone number for head office no longer in use. Only contact is email which takes 5 days for each reply. Horrendous wouldn't take this long if I owed them Really spoilt the whole celebration

Awful service today, been coming here for years and service always been variable as the staff seems to change every time. Can be really good but today was abysmal. We ordered our mains my husband ordered the vegetarian risotto which sadly came with chicken even though we specified no chicken. He's not vegetarian but still didn't want chicken! Even though there were only 3 tables occupied and 2 waiting staff it took ages to attract any attention and my husband had eaten most of his risotto before we could complain about the unwanted chicken. They offered to remake the dish but as we were catching a bus we couldn't wait for this. We asked for the desert menu and ordered. This was duly dished up and the cook pressed the bell to let the waitress know this was ready but they completely ignored this and carried on chatting behind the bar. After 5 minutes and watching the ice cream running down the side of the dishes my husband went to the bar where they were chatting and asked the waitress if he could fetch our desserts ourselves. This spurred them into action and they finally fetched the deserts to our table. When we finally got the bill we found they'd deducted around £2 for the chicken they'd mistakenly put on my husband's main. Seriously won't be bothering with Prezzo again after this shambolic service!

Visited with some friends midweek. The 2 members of staff we had dealings with were lovely, only very young but attentive, chatty and friendly. The place was quite busy with a decent atmosphere and initial service was prompt. The main courses came out in a reasonable time and the whole pizzas were fantastic, as was the spag bol. I had a calzone, which although very flavorsome lacked any filling, once I had taken both sides off of it which equated to about a third of the calzone I still hadn’t come across any filling, eventually I found some and as I previously said it tasted lovely, but for the size of the calzone the filling was only in half of it so I think it worked out to be quite expensive for what I got. Then we ordered deserts, it was quite warm inside so I fancied something cold, 2 of us ordered the sundae and the other 2 a cheescake and lemon meringue. The cheesecake and meringue were lovely but the sundaes had been left on the side for that long before they were brought to the table that there was no ice cream in them, it had totally melted in both sundaes so was just some cream, what appeared to be tinned strawberries, and some vanilla liquid. We did mention it to the girl who cleared the tables and asked if everything was ok and she did apologize(ish) but unfortunately I don’t think we would return, overall quite a bit of a let down.

Came for lunch with my friend, the food was good and portion sizes are great. The only thing that let our experience down was the manageress. She was incredibly rude, everything we asked was too much trouble. I’d asked for mozzarella as an extra with my pasta, but when it came out the mozzarella hadn’t been added on. When I said this to her she rolled her eyes and took it back to the kitchen, then moments later slammed it back down in front of me! Same response when my friend said yes to Parmesan on her pasta - an eye roll. When she finished grating the cheese on top she banged the block of cheese and the grater together and walked off, no ‘enjoy your meal’. I wouldn’t usually review a restaurant poorly but have never been treated so rudely by a waiter/waitress before! In all fairness we had another waitress serving us as well and she was the complete opposite

Booked a table for 8 people, we had a mixture of festive menus which were great value and main menu meals. We all had a great time, the service and food was excellent. We will definitely be back.

There are not many places to eat on a Sunday evening, so we booked Prezzo without any great expectations. We were wrong! We both chose pizza and thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was friendly and good. The restaurant is clean, with interesting decor.

Overall a lovely evening with tasty food - we loved it! When making our booking I added notes to inform them we were celebrating an anniversary but it wasn’t mentioned once which was a little disappointing. We weren’t expecting to be showered in free food...

They have lost our custom plus at least 3 other families we know because of this reason. They obviously do not need the money!

Had a pepperoni special pizza. Was very salty made worse be rocket lettuce on top. Very dry. Made matters worse as I order a side salad which was just more dry, sharp indigestible rocket. Re- think your use of rocket everywhere, it’s a garnish really....

Firstly, for an 'Italian' restaurant, there was decidedly little on the menu that was truly Italian. No antipasto, anglicised pasta dishes (baked carbonara with chicken???), and no proper italian secondi whatsoever (news flash, burgers are not Italian, even if you call it calabrese). Even worse...

Booked an hour earlier, turned up and seated straight away. Great food. Great service. It was very busy so book first to avoid a wait. Loved it. Cheers

Me and my family have been visiting this restaurant for over 6 years, this is our first return since covid-19 and it’s like it’s a completely different restaurant, After we asked I if they could turn the air con off as it was very cold,...

Horrendous service! At 16:25 we approached the restaurant, there was no one sitting outside, with 2 tables occupied within the restaurant. We asked for a table for 2, but was told we could not have a reservation after 5 unless we had booked a table....

I visited with a friend. Drinks took ages to come, the waiter, whilst polite, didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. I ordered a salad of chicken, prosciutto and avocado. Hardly any of those key items in the dish, just a massive bowl of leaves with next to nothing else. I also would have expected the chicken to be warm, but it was stone cold. The salad was meant to come with garlic bread, which came as a huge surprise to the waiter, who duly went off to see where it was. He returned sometime after, as I was finishing my salad, with a piece of white bread basically, no hint of garlic, or indeed of cooking. Needless to say it was stone cold also. My friend and I observed numerous meals going back to the kitchen, the manager having to keep going to various tables trying to appease customers, and then last but not least, the aforementioned waiter brought out a tray of 4 drinks to the neighbouring table, where he proceeded to drop the lot all over one of the customers! Will not be hurrying back!

We ate at this restaurant for my birthday using buyagift vouchers purchased ages ago. We were not disappointed. All the food was excellent, the service was so friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was buzzing with the sound of enjoyment. The garlic bread starter cooked on the flame pizza oven was delicious. All our mains were also excellent. All followed up with a delicious sweet. As an added bonus, the manager gave us complimentary drinks for my special day. Amazing. Highly recommend

We visited on Saturday evening and I can't express how impressed we were with the service we received. The staff were so polite, friendly, efficient and cheerful. And the food was faultless too. Excellent job everyone!

While shopping at Marshall's yard. We decided to have some lunch at Pressos. We wasn't disappointed. The service was excellent. And the food was very good. We really enjoyed our meal.

We went today for lunch, our first visit here and we couldn’t fault it. I booked the table last week online so we would be guaranteed a table. There were 4 of us - my parents, my daughter and I. We didn’t have starters. We ordered pizza and garlic bread, chicken burger and chips, and chicken in a mushroom and masala sauce with chips x 2. We all enjoyed our meals, although my mum said she could have eaten some vegetables with hers. We had desserts - chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, tiramisu and a caramel cheesecake which all went down a treat!It was a busy lunchtime and glad we booked early.We will be returning soonOnly downside was it was card payments only no cash, my parents only pay cash so couldn’t have come without us, hopefully things will change and they will be able to eat out here regularly

Not able to book one night due to staffing problems but when we did get in was very good. Their grande pizza is really big! Friendly staff.

Ordered a special meal for Father’s Day, the day before. Received order number, contacted the restaurant to check order, advised that they hadn’t received the order and as they were so busy they were unable to do anything. Staff were unhelpful, rude and patronising. Asked to speak to a manager, and advised that I had order number etc! I was told I was speaking to the manager. No empathy towards customers who had ordered for a special occasion, they kept saying “I’m repeating myself again”, found their manner unhelpful, disinterested and rude. I now have disappointed children who thought they had planned a special meal for Father’s Day I will never visit Prezzo, Gainsborough or order from there again and will spend my money elsewhere where I feel valued as a customer.

Greeted promptly, excellent outdoor service and good COVID measures. Great food, good drink and an overall positive experience.The waiter who was working outdoors was the busiest in the building with everyone opting to sit in the sun, but he continued his job with professionalism and efficiency. He continued to serve every table in order of their arrival and was very warm and welcoming.The food was great and the drinks were good too. A good Saturday afternoon visit.

Ate at Prezzo, Gainsborough 22nd May. Four of us, first meal out since Oct 2020. We were welcomed by friendly member of staff and instructed on Covid guidelines within the restaurant. We were served by a very friendly and efficient young gentleman who took our order and served us our meals. He was polite and put us at complete ease so that we could enjoy a night out like before Covid. Going back again in two weeks and highly recommend going here.

A Wednesday lunch whilst the 50% offer was on and the restaurant was full but well managed and felt safe . Both food and the service was very good .

We visited this Prezzo branch whilst staying at the Travelodge opposite. Excellent customer service from Karolina! Despite not booking a table in advance during the summer holidays/ one of the government’s ‘Dine Out to Help Out incentive days, we were offered an outside table to dine. The food was delicious and service was prompt! Well done Team Prezzo Gainsborough!

I believe the managers name was Latiff? But he wasn’t good at taking our order, he didn’t seem to know anything about the menu to say he was a manager. He was also really slow at taking our order and looked panicked and confused when it was busy which wasn’t a good vibe or look for the restaurant. However all over members of staff were very polite and professional and dealt with their jobs like pros

Food is always amazing here. It’s always busy so can be noisy but just adds to the atmosphere. Would recommend

This is by far the best Prezzo me and my partner have visited the service was excellent and food was delicious! We had a lovely evening mainly due to our waitress whom had dark brown hair and wore glasses. She was very professional, and extremely helpful. We both felt comfortable from the waitresses friendly manner. I fancied something different to my usual choice. The lady gave us some recommendations, I'm glad I took her advice as it was delicious!! We was very well looked after, I will definitely be returning.

We arrived to be seated on time.Party of 6.We ordered drinks then food.Our drinks arrived followed by 4 starters. When my wifes and I received our starter the rest had already finished theirs.Worse to come, the plate I was given for my starter was discusting. It was filthy. Not wanting to cause a fuss,I excused my self and left the "restaurant".My 1st and LAST experience of PREZZO.RATING MINUS 10.

Called on a Thursday lunchtime when it was very quiet. The atmosphere was nice even though there were few diners. Food very good - calamari starter, chicken and peppers pizza, fiorentina pizza (my favourite) and a side salad. The waitress was pleasent and efficient.

Used this local Gainsborough Prezzo many, many times and on the whole been happy with all aspects. However on our latest “girlie get together” we were really disappointed, location is great, the restaurant clean and well set out but the important bit, the food did not meet up with expectations and neither did the service on this occasion. The garlic bread to share didn’t come with the main meal as we had requested, when the food arrived it was on stone cold plates which meant that leisurely eating was not an option as we would have been eating cold food. The waiter was really skimpy with the Parmesan cheese, he wasn’t particularly pleasant and reached over us to serve instead of moving around the side of us. If we return I hope I will be able to post a better review.

We had a table booked on a busy sun evening. When we gave our name they tried to tell us someone from our party had arrived and was sat at our table. They werent/hadn't. That was sorted quickly and no real issue. Lovely food. Food service was good. The biggest down for me was the amount of time it took our second drinks to arrive. Had practically finished the food time they got to us and they were ordered in plenty of time to expect to have them with mains. Overall a very pleasant experience tho

Had a nice meal here, the service was slow, but that was not a problem for us as we were in no rush. Good seating plans. The atmosphere was your usually chain restaurant atmosphere. The food was delicious and we would definitely visit Prezzo Again

Popped into here on a Wednesday evening with a 241 deal and really enjoyed it.Very good food and would recommend the Tre Gusti Pizza (which had a lot of chicken on as one of the toppings, which makes a good change).Friendly, helpful and quick service.Would recommend.

Prezzo is my all-time favourite restaurant, however, I had not visited the Gainsborough branch before. I visited with my partner, my cousin and her partner, and we opted for the 3 course deal menu. The waitress with the blonde hair (shaved at back) was absolutely lovely. She explained the menu to us, was bubbly, offered accompanying drinks and allowed a slight change to the starter!Food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The carbonara with chicken was absolutely divine and plentiful! The atmosphere was really nice and every staff member we encountered was lovely. Top notch food, excellent service, 5 stars!

Eat here regulary and never had a bad meal. It is what it is.....a chain restaurant so will never be outsatnding but the food is more than passable. Always get good service.....even when busy.

My wife and I called at Prezzo for an early tea. It was very quiet and we bagged a nice table with heat coming from the Pizza oven. Fast service and our drinks were quickly on the table. I ordered Penne Arribiata and my wife had the Lasagna, both were cooked to perfection. A bottle of wine to wash it down and we were well satisfied. The staff are very well trained and nothing is a problem for them. After paying the bill, which was very reasonable, I tipped the chef as the meal was delicious. We will definitely be back to Prezzo. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Awful food, terrible service, frosty atmosphere, scruffy seating, toilets have a window to it which has the local spice dealers leant against it and smoking. The salmon was mackerel and the wooden boards are in no way up to food hygiene standards, as a non meat eater, I was unable to eat anything due to the meat stained boards. The glassware was filthy as was the cutlery and the staff are rude and stand outside smoking and then come into serve you smelling of stale cigarette smoke.

I have eaten here on many occasions and always ordered beef lasagne and never disappointed. However, on this occasion I decided to have the garlic and mushroom pizza and it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The pizza base was very thin and hard with a very thin spread of tomato sauce/paste? On this were a few very thin slices of raw mushroom and even fewer small pieces of avocado and no hint of garlic. All this was hidden under a large covering of rocket. It was impossible to cut the pizza with the knife provided and a pizza wheel was given after requested.

Go to prezzo at least twice a month got to say food is good. Went on 18 November 2019 had lasagne, on time looked amazing started to eat couldn’t find any meat. Pasta sauce cheese yes. Continued to eat found the smallest meat portion ever. Lady collected our plates and said is all ok, I said taste good just hardly any meat. Reaction was never had that before and walked off wasn’t expecting that maybe a sorry to here that would have been better. Manager should have a chat with staff ☹️

Eat here again last night for my girlfriend birthday, the food excellent as always we were mega last for our reservation but the staff were very accommodation and even tho busy found us a table and really looked after us all night - they really went the extra mile, the food is to a real high standard and taste very fresh, the starter and pudding were top notch - we will defo be back

Came here with a voucher, was very pleased with the choice of food on the set menu. Service was good and food very tasty

for my 65th birthday my family took me to prezzo for a meal, now i might just be an old bugger, however it came to over £100 for just 4 of us, to have 4 meals, 4 drinks, a bottle of wine and 4 sides. I do not mind paying for what i am getting and did enjoy the food however the portions of fries were very small, the bottles of coke were not even full bottles. Overall i found it very expensive for the portion sizes.

Visited here many times for an evening meal. Always get good quality service and very tasty food. Always clean and tidy. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants to visit

Booked by phone. Arrived early no problem getting seated. Nice tasty starter spicy king prawns and garlic bread. Main course my wife had lasagne it was serve and presented well. I took the chicken and bacon salad. Excellent. Vanilla ice cream for desert.

Met some friends on a Thursday lunch, restaurant was relatively quiet which enabled us to have great service from the staff on duty who were efficient and friendly, especially Iza, Good value, moved away from the pasta to try their burger, well worth it, very tasty.

Lovely meal, sharing platter to start followed by chicken an bacon salad (personal favourite), then sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Good service and busy restaurant.

Visited with a few work friends for a birthday celebration, excellent warm friendly atmosphere. Food always hot and fresh and tasty. Service always impeccable. Highly recommend

Never eaten in a Prezzo before made our journey from Scunthorpe a 15 mile trip, so unsure. Was welcomed by a very warm atmosphere and decor was welcoming. Seated quickly recommended making a booking as it was busy, menu extensive, waitresses very helpful and cheerful. Food arrived hot and very well presented, we shared a bruschetta which was enough as a starter for two looked fresh and hot. My wife had the roasted salmon on a bed of vegetables,salmon was very hot and moist vegetables just cooked , it came with a rocket salad again well presented. I had calzone it came with a tomato sauce again with a salad, filled and was great. I will be going back again and would like to thank all the staff who made it a great meal and were attentive and cheerful.

Our first visit to Prezzo Gainsborough could not be faulted. Greeted by a helpful manager who found us an ideal table bearing in mind my wife was on a walking frame. Our waitress was Holly, a lovely friendly young lady who we found to be very helpful. Food was first class.

We took my granddaughter and her two little friends for a belated birthday lunch for my granddaughters 9th birthday , they had their own little table and the staff where so lovely with them. The food and service was excellent. Thankyou Prezzo for a lovely afternoon.

After a disappointing meal a couple of years ago we went back for my birthday lunch. What a difference. Superb service, excellent food and a warm ambience made for an lovely occasion.The five children's menus were plentiful and had good choices. Adults meals were presented well and were tasty and hot. We used the meerkat meals offer which saved us money but even without that it would have been value for money. Will definitely return.

Four of us ate lunch. We were all pleased with our meals, two pizza, one penne and one spaghetti bolognaise. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Been here before but not in a while so popped in after wondering around Marshall’s yard, service was prompt and drinks ordered quickly. The spritzers were just right for an afternoon feed. We both ordered starters consisting of calamari and bruschetta, followed by the sea bass and chicken rusticana. Both were really nice and flavoursome although probably a little to much for me. The only let down to this restaurant was the toilets, no toilet roll and beware only three toilets for the whole restaurant! But put that aside the food here is great.

We came here on Saturday afternoon before going away on holiday nice place to eat very nice and clean with some good decor in it food was nice we all had a starter and mains were nice of course would come back if ever in the area again

I was told about the voucher where kids can eat a 3 course meal plus a drink for free or for £1. I went expecting a catch but there wasn’t one. It was one of those rare occasions when the whole dining experience from start (free parking after 6pm) to finish (being waved off by the manager) was just brilliant. Airy bright happy vibe inside, attentive and helpful staff plus good food, reasonably priced. Just lovely. Thank you guys with extra special thanks to Jasper who was so helpful when I was trying to book a table but couldn’t give an exact time as I was coming after a hospital appointment which notoriously could have run over time.

Came out for a meal with my partner, we arrived at 17:00, left at 19:20. We were greeted and taken to a table of our choice. We ordered drinks, starter and main, these were brought out by a different waiter. Took a while for the table to be cleared after our main, we had to call someone over to clear them and to order drinks, she asked if we wanted a dessert menu and we said yes, it took around 20 minutes before we got the menus and drinks. We were then waiting around 30 minutes to order, staff kept going out of the restaurant or standing around the bar talking. Eventually a different waitress came over and asked if we had ordered desserts yet, to which we replied no, she took our orders and our desserts came out fairly quickly. After we had finished we waited for around 40 minutes for the bill to arrive, several staff members walked by our table and looked in our direction but ignored the fact we were waiting. In the end got so fed up I to go and ask for it. Staff are polite but dont appear to pay a lot of attention to customers. It wasn't particularly busy whilst we were there either. Such a shame as the food was perfect and good value for money but we just felt disappointed with how long we were waiting.

Came tonight early. Sat inside, but there was a big (loud) school leavers party. Moved outside, then massive rain came. Moved back inside with 5ish other tables.

Never had a bad meal food always good and atmosphere is cool and relaxed. You always feel like you are important as a guest and the staff and managers look after you. The only reason I have dropped 1 mark is I think there should be a steak on the menu. coming originally from London Even the chain Bella pasta and the private Italian restaurants had this protean.

Having not been for quite a while decided to go for tea. Arrived at 16-30 quite empty at this point, Didn't bother with a starter and went straight for the Grilled Chicken breast with mushroom, I ordered Tender stem broccoli & cauliflower, my wife house fries. Seemed to take a while before arriving but well worth the wait. I really would like to know how they cook the veg as it is excellent. I am not a great lover of fries I'm more a chips man but heyho. Food was well presented and sauce was super. We ordered the min desserts with a hot drink, we both ordered the cannoli with coffee. Just the job to top up. Service was efficient and were not overpowering. Ambiance was quiet but I guess that is down to the time we were there. Overall a great experience and at a very good price with our friends Simples.

We went for lunch today at Prezzo, we ordered a starter to share and then two mains. The two mains came out first and there was no sign of the starter, I spoke to a waitress and explained our starter hadn't come but we had been given our mains. She looked at me gone out and said 'do you still want it?' I still did, so she said she would sort it out. 20 mins later the starter arrived and she just dropped it on the table and as she rushed off looked back and said 'sorry for your wait'. The food itself was really good!! Cannot complain about the food whatsoever. It came to paying and we asked for the bill, she (assuming it was a manager, called Judit) brought the bill over and we said we had a voucher code,she tutted and said 'better late than never' she then snatched the bill of the table and walked off, they didn't seem impressed at all that we had a voucher code and was very awkward about having to reprint a new bill. As we left it seemed very busy but there was only 3 members of staff, i would strongly suggest that more staff should be working. Very disappointed with customer service, however the food was very good.

Drove over from 10 miles away on a very wet day,went into the restaurant to reserve a table for the evening,we asked if we Could could have a certain table at 8 pm, the lady said that she would put it in the diary,which she did before we left,So arriving at 7.56 evening,it was quite busy,but a group were sat at our reserved ?? Table ,with lots of drink,the waitress said oh you can sit at another table! so didn’t bother as no one was concerned,just spoilt a 54th wedding anniversary,don’t advise booking a table!

The location in the Marshall's Yard development near the town centre is fine and there is parking nearby. It has been well fitted out and provides a bright pleasing place to eat.

We called in here for lunch on a quiet Saturday. The food was delicious but the service was a bit slow, especially considering how empty the restaurant was and how many staff appeared to be on duty. One waiter offered to bring the dessert menu but it never appeared.

I don’t usually leave reviews but after a lovely evening and excellent service from Jasper I wanted to share our experience.

A recent visit to this chain leaves us a little disappointed, on arrival our greeting was fine, we were offered a table of our choice and the menu's arrived, a good variety of food was on offer that would cover all angles.

Just had a really good meal brilliant service fine Jasper .Couldnt fault the food ,service or price. Definitely going back

My review of a recent visit....

Visited at Wednesday lunchtime. Service very abrupt and disinterested. Food was OK. Coffee cold, we had to send it back after asking for it to be warmed up. No cheesecake available. We usually opt for the small dessert and coffee but as two of those options are cheesecakes, it left very little choice. I asked if there were any substitutions available from the main dessert menu and was abruptly told 'NO'. I mean, how hard would it be to cut up a chocolate brownie or tiramisu into smaller portions and offer it as a mini dessert?

We arrived on time and was seated fast. The place wasn’t particularly busy. We waited a while to be given a menu and when we ordered our drinks they eventually arrived and much to my girlfriends surprise there was a bug in the ice they gave me for the drink. It really put me and my girlfriend off.
