The best pizza in gainsborough!!!

For the last half a dozen orders it's been real good, on time and hot tasty food. There was one occasion two years ago where it was cold and nasty. But this was once. Lately it's been that nice and swift, I felt a review necessary. Keep it up, thank you 😊 beautiful kebabs and beautiful service

Honestly been going since I was a little kid and hasn’t changed in the slightest. The fries can be abit of a 50/50 but other than that, it’s perfect.

Just moved to gainsborough and thought best try a local takeaway , had pizza burger ,(never knew such a thing existed) all delivered on time and great price, thank you very much from a new customer

Worst pizza I've had looked and tasted like a supermarket frozen one, gone in the bin.

Doner meat cold chicken warm I asked for chilli sauce never got it when I got home 3 mouth bits though it the bin never going there again 3 years it was ok not any more

mum just bought food got my burger and it looked absolutely disgusting. it tasted bad so i looked at it and it was all soft and mushy, it was probably just today as other times are okay but i’m gonna be sick

Just ordered the ultimate box and my wife had the chicken wrap with chips Super fresh, tasty moist filling and actually very cheap best meal I’ve had since we’ve moved back to Gainsborough keep up the great work five stars

Great food, bit expensive but worth it

Ordered a large kebab, 80% of the box was salad. Really disappointment after using florentinos multiple times in the past, feel ripped off.

Only order here if you want to wait 90 mins for you’re food which comes stone cold avoid the place at all costs. I wouldn’t waste you’re hard earned money

The food is good from here but a bit on the pricey side, but now I think the who ever is running things is now getting a bit greedy on the prices. I live i Town and it's still £2 for delivery, Gainsborough must be the only place that I know that kebab and pizza shops charge in town for delivery. I have food allergies and have to take certain items off and I ask for it to be changed for something else. Nope not going to happen unless I pay for it. I am so sorry to the owner, but you have now lost my business and that was £100 a week roughly, in the trade your in, that's a lot of pennies, the kids will have to pick somewhere else so we don't get ripped off by greed. To run a successful business is don't be greedy.

First time ordering here. Decided on a donner kebab, a donner kebab box meal with rice, kofta and a portion of fries. Delivery guy was very polite, but food was terrible. Only the fries were hot, everything else extremely cold. Kebab meat tasted decent, the fries were good. More than half of both kebabs consisted of salad. Kofta was dry, burnt, not seasoned. Rice was awful, a hint of artificial tasting tomato puree the only flavour. Hot chilli sauce seemed homemade but had no spice, little flavour and was very watery. One kebab was served in a pizza box with a sheet of greaseproof paper on the bottom. The paper completely melted and became a part of the meal, box also started to disintegrate due to the watery sauce. Such a shame as the Donner meat did have good flavour but wasn't anywhere near warm, everything else was awful. We did not enjoy our experience and won't rush to repeat it

Been ordering from you for years but recently you’re missing things out of our order, it’s so frustrating! When we put several dips in the order how do you come up with none but one?… It’s Such a small mistake but will stop me ordering, sauces make my takeout! I expect a refund for what I paid for that’s wasn’t delivered, one time is ok but twice is unacceptable.

Very disappointing new to the area ordered here 7 days in a row and my meal lastnight was shocking, pizza undercooked, burger bun was all brown and soggy, didn’t put garlic on my meal as asked, and forgot my garlic pot which I paid for, also when I called them before ordering online the rudeness off the staff is unbelievable won’t be coming back plus they give you a really bad tummy the next morning 😩

My Nan rang up just to make a order . Said everything clearly . The woman on the phone was very disorganised and every time we said something she said hold on . My Nan was getting frustrated . We work the total out and it should have came to 19.50 . But she over charge and it came to 27.50 . She gave us the wrong order and didn’t listen on what we said . Waste of money. The food came now eaten the food feeling heavy and sick . And stomachache. Will never go back again . Please don’t order from there . If you want to be treated disrespectful . Bye

For the most part great pizza's, occasionally get different pepperoni which tastes awful and ruins the pizza. Really wish they just stuck with the same pepperoni each time

Not a big pizza fan . But was amazed at the quality and price . Best pizza I have had . Highly recommend & definitely going back sooner rather than later.

They messed up my order and didn't cook the pizza properly and they give me a really bad stomach I wouldn't advise any to order from there

Worse burger I've had from you today,had loads off hard bits in it,was cold a cheese wasn't even melted never again normally my go to burgers but not after today

Ordered for collection 19:50pm special mixed kebab , told be ready in 10-15 min , got there 20:05pm , the guy just took my money and didn’t say anything , I saw one box on top that looked like my order and he only gave it to me 20;30pm and I asked garlic on top and I didn’t even get that , so I had cold kebab and wrong order. Disappointed won’t go there again .

"Any Burger" doesn't include neither the pizzaburger or a BBQ burger from the burger menu.. blatant false advertising to inflate already high prices at checkout.

First order in yrs. will be the last. Fries dry hard and cold. Burger was warm.and took over an hour for delivery. Top price mediocre product

Stayed at travel lodge for family wedding and was recommended to visit Florentinos. The pizza was really nice until my daughter pulled a long hair out from her throat, entwined in a lump of chicken 🤮

i haven't had any problems until Thursday night i had chicken on a garlic bread and i was violently ill Friday around 10 o'clock and still not right now i have been to the doctors as my hole body is acing and sweets hot and cold fever i have been told iv had food poisoning the chicken was spongey and wet sorry boys but that was my last visit

They take your money and don't deliver your food the staff are rude and deffinately need more training in customer service will never order again !!!

Just had the best deep pan ranch bbq pizza , the mushrooms were amazing, the sauce, it was light and mouthwatering, first time trying this place as only visiting the area shame it wasnt on my own doorstep id never be out of here.

I usually order from this place and get the mans burger and chips always been 10/10 however last night I bought a meat feast pizza it arrived literally pouring in grease or oil... I still ate it been on toilet all day with extremely bad stomach don't recommend there pizzas at all very disappointing.

Best pizza takeaway around. Their classic 12 inch garlic bread and 4 square pizza are unmatchable anywhere I've ever been. 4 different pizzas in one pizza is very convenient for a fussy family like mine. Homemade garlic mayo dip hits the spot every time and is better than any shop bought rival

I thought I'd try this place as I'd not ordered from here before. The young lady who took the order was rude. I can't even count as to how many times I had to repeat myself and at one point I nearly put the phone down. I didn't like the food. The kebab meat tasted uncooked and It was cold. I won't be returning.

After searching around for a descent food shop , gladly we found this place ,and wasn't disappointed the pizza and garlic bread was what we expected , lovely clean place ,had to order then wait outside in the bitter cold ,thanks covid 19 ,rules are rules

Update 12th Feb 21: Just had a takeaway and it was decent value. Food was below average though and didn’t really taste nice. Partner and I wish we went for a dominos now ... don’t know what’s happened here, it was amazing Original: Best takeaway in Gainsborough. Never have delivery; always ring and collect. Pizzas are yummy and fairly priced. Food is always ready on time for when we collect!

I remember when Florentino's first opened in Gainsborough, always went there after a Saturday night. They were the best then and they still are. Staff always polite and friendly. They keep adding new things to the menu which is great. Highly recommended

Great food best take away in Gainsborough

Ordered from here tonight they forgot my side I phoned up to explain ive had not got it delivered with the rest of the order the lady on the phone wasn't helpful and blamed us for not listening back to the people on the phone when we ordered. We had no receipt to even prove I had ordered it. Bad customer service, unhelpful and rude.

I like extra extra extra onion. This is the only place that has ever listened to me. First class service. Thank you.

Really disappointed. This use to be my favourite takeaway. My last order came cold and soggy when delivered pizza with no sauce. This order I went into store for two things a wrap no chips and a burger on its own. The chicken burger i was asked if I wanted salad said yes. Was also supposed to have sauce as stated in menu. I was told 10 mins. I had other food in the car. I waited 20-25 minutes s and qent straight home around the corner good was colder than the food I had waiting in the car. Dry. No salad no sauce. Really disappointed. Two im a row now

Been ordering from florentinos for nearly 6 years and had never regretted ordering from them until the last few months, ordered a few times got either stuff missing from my order or toppings I didn’t ask for in palace of ones I did, was starting to think maybe I should go somewhere else then I ordered today a large pizza with a bbq base and toppings and wedges the wedges were fine if not a little over cooked, but the pizza had a tomato base not a bbq as I don’t like tomato I called up and spoke to them about the said they would give me credit off my next order I said no I would like an exchange for the pizza I ordered. Then 5 mins later the owner or manager callled me and said I was bbq when it wasn’t I got my pizza eventually it was burnt in places but correct I then get another call from the manager or owner saying that the first pizza was bbq when it wasn’t he then proceeded to tell me he’s sick of me telling them that they didn’t fulfil my orders and that it was my fault they missed stuff out and still charged me for it I won’t be blamed for their staffs incompetence I will never be ordering from this train wreck of a takeaway again

Used to love the place but recently orders have been wrong more than they have been right. I would of been more understanding if they hadn’t been so rude about it over the phone and try to blame me for their mistake.

Ordered a pizza and bacon bacon fries... Got to admit the fries were scent for what they were. The pizza, meaty, was so over cooked it was crazy. The tomatoes base was non existent. The doner meat was rock solid. The chicken was barely there and I don't recall seeing any bacon. The saving grace was the hot dog stuff crust (which I paid an extra £2.50 for) and even that was only any good dipped in ketchup. Worst pizza I've had in years.

First time I've had the vegetable pizza from here, it was pretty bland and not a patch on Pizza Bari vegetable pizza.

Ordered from here a couple weeks back, and was very impressed. Pizza was very tasty, and was still piping hot at the door. My order was very complicated however the excellent service provided to me by the staff was exceptional, and all I can say is that this is deffo my new go to pizza takeway. Great work guys, can't wait to order the 4 musketeers pizza again once you guys re-open!

Honestly it is a fantastic takeway. I have never had a problem and the food is delicious. I always have the supreme burger and it is always delicious. I have had the same order tonight with chips as usual but I also wanted to try their garlic mushrooms. The garlic mushrooms were not good.They tasted ok but they were soggy and just didn't taste fresh like the rest of the food. Also they came with loads of lettuce and a tomato which it didn't say anything about on the website. I don't like tomatoes, I make it clear on my burger recipe that I don't like them but they were in with the garlic mushrooms. To me that is something that should be improved, if you don't want tomatoes on your burger then why would you want them on your side order. Apart from that I love Florentino's. This is not a complaint at all. Just something I noticed that made my order imperfect. I do highly recommend though. Their burgers are so tasty and the chips are always fresh. 🙂

Great takeaway - one of the best chicken kebabs I have ever had and the cheese bites are amazing. One of my favourite local takeaways and I may have tried a few haha.

I think it's one of the best in Gainsborough we definitely prefer the pizzas to the major franchise a few doors up

A first visit. It's close by so it was just a speculative visit because it was late. Really friendly and polite behind the counter. 4 young lasses all well presented and always busy while we were there. A bloke who was preparing food came out with plastic gloves on so I knew food safety was important. My son and I both had a chili burger which was absolutely awesome. Loads of salad and jalapeños in it. Definitely going back and would absolutely recommend

Had a frew gd takeaway from here tonight I didn't get my coleslaw tonight and still not rang me bk to say what happened and ask for no tomorto had had it in my burger

We always come here and get good food and service. The only reason I've 3-starred it this time is I ordered the nachos with jalapeño yesterday for £3.70 with the pizza and burgers... The food was not ready within the time told to me (understandable as it is always very busy) but I could see my order ready and waiting for one burger. When I got home, the nachos were so dry with the cheese so congealed, they were inedible , even with the bolognaise sauce! Safe to say, it was £3.70 in the bin, and, I'll be steering well clear of these in future!

AMAZING FOOD definitely going again

Normally food is great. Service tonight was shocking. Took nearly an hour for pizza to be ready. Waited and waited and when was finally ready was just left on the top of the oven and not given to me. God knows how long it would have been there if not said anything. And to top it all the pizza is overdone and disgusting.

Took an hour to turn up round the corner fir kebab and chips! Then the kebab was only half a tray fir £5

Kebab was really dry and chewy, prices are quite high which is okay but the portion size for what you pay is ridiculous. Ended up with the runs and stomach pains afew hours later. Only good this that's good size is the man burger

Good family run place very friendly staff and good food

Never going here again , I got a BBQ chicken pizza yesterday and it was just BBQ chicken, tonight I've ordered one and it's come with red onion and pepper on it I rang them up to tell them that it's wrong and all they kept repeating it says in the menu what's on it. And I was made to be a liar over the phone.

Ordered a Donna kebab it came stone cold and some chips and cheese took some chips out to make sure we didn’t get the same food back rang up they said the would send some fresh ones came and got the food and brought the same food back warmed up when I rang them they called me a lair and said it wasn’t the same food and they do not warm food up its all fresh 😂 never been fresh

Been a customer for years complained a few weeks ago due to waiting 2 hours for food then delivered it cold thought i would give them one more chance as everyone has a bad night but now been sat here 2 hours still no food no apologies no calls no nothing will never order from here again food has dropped in standard lately and service well very disappointing

I want chips Donna meat and a bit of onion but they can not put onion on it that. instead they said I had to have a full Donna kebab with chips on the side. Talk about robbing people. U would think they charge an extra 20-30 pence for the onion
