Amazing service and outstanding tasty food served quickly. BUT shame that the toilets were empty of toilet rolls and hygiene bins overflowing it was early in the day so obviously been gathering for some time.

Delayed arrival due to transport problems but was easily able to amend booking online. Service was efficient and friendly as always though it was early afternoon so not busy. Food was great. Good menu options and reasonable price. We'll be back!

Excellent pre show dinner for three!

Went for a birthday meal out! Our server Emily was absolutely brilliant, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Fabulous service from her from start to finish, she's a real credit to the team!

This meal just went wrong on every level. A wonderful waitress took our order pretty promptly and drinks came quickly. There was then an excruciating wait for our starters, but they were not to be. Our mains were brought out. I mentioned we hadn't had our starters yet, so the mains were taken back. 10 minutes later I was told the starter I had originally ordered was no longer available. I opted to go without while the others ate theirs. They very kindly apologised and said they'd give us deserts as a sorry. That was nice of them. Starters taken away. Sitting waiting for mains now, don't forget I'm extra hungry because no starter!! Eventually decided to ask them where our next round of drinks was and our mains. Apparently the kitchen had now lost our order, so everything still had to be cooked. Again, very kindly offered to pay for all drinks this time. The three others got their mains, but I had to wait a further 10 minutes for mine, which looked dry and unappealing. I decided just to eat it at this stage because it was so late and we'd had enough, but I have a feeling it was recooked from the previous mistaken delivery to our table, rather than redone freshly. Everyone else had good food at least. They did comp desert as promised. So a very long, unusual night. We have eaten here before and have never had this happen, so an off night maybe. The staff were friendly, apologetic and couldn't have been nicer. I wouldn't fault them at all. But an unfortunate series of mistakes.

Great speedy service, amazing food as always!

Disappointed with this visit to Prezzo in Clacton. Food was.mediocre. we had the chicken milanese. The chicken was overcooked and quite dry and was presented with a pile of rocket and nothing else on the plate with a bowl of fries. We had to ask for cutlery. Quite a long wait even though they weren't very busy. Very expensive for what it was. We've had better food and service at McDonald's and much less expensive too. We won't use Prezzo's again.

Too slow, considering there wasn't too many Diners!

We visited prezzo as we were in Clacton to see a show. The food we had was very nice and and we are looking forward to going again.

My husband and I came to the Clacton on Sea restaurant this evening on a promotional 99p mains meal. The staff, atmosphere and food was really good. It is a limited menu but you can definitely find something you like ( if pasta and pizza is your vibe) we order extra sides and drinks. It was busy, as one table cleared it was filled quickly. Overall would return to this restaurant even if no promotion was in. Well done everyone working there :)

When me and partner came last week we were served by Rachel. She was amazing and attentive. She said yes to every request. She was smiling and engaged with it. This really made the dining experience fantastic and any one who gets served by her should feel as luckily and valued as we did. I returned to the business last night with my mother. I was served by a man named Jack. Again his service was fantastic. He presented and carried himself with pride while also attending to everything we needed. Thank you both very much. The drinks were amazing and food was great!

Excellent service though it was very quiet... meatballs were nice but the pizza needed more sauce and more cooking...deserts were really good...overall we enjoyed ourselves..🙂

5/5 review says it all. This very popular restaurant in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex is a favourite of my husband and I. We often take our family there as a treat.

Really friendly staff and the food was really good. We all had something different all all of the meals where tasty and good size portions.

Poor service missed items wrong orders food quality poor burgers over cooked dried up Salad worst I ever had old leaves and cheese tasted off. Then mix up of bill items added we did not have will not be returning to be honest it’s zero stars avoid worst food and service in Clacton.

I have eaten here many many times but today was an utter disaster from drinks to meals. Pizza served up cold with tinned mushrooms TINNED and that tasted of brine and undercooked so I send it back. The replacement pizza was a utter insult it has a tiny bit of tomato sauce around the edges none whatsoever on the rest with a dab of cheese here and there which was blatantly obvious that I upset the chef. Three friends had Burgers which were charcoaled some more than others but all over cooked and dry. The place has obviously declined over time and for the money the food and service it isn’t worth the effort. So I don’t think we will be back.

Been twice now great food and great service.

We had 9 of us, we had a lovely waitress, 4 adults and 5 children. We used a Kids Eat Free voucher for every adult meal we bought (4). We had the cinema to get to so the waitress was able to rush through the desserts for us. We waited 45mins before the kids starters arrived and it was 1hr before we ate our mains so service was slower than we had hoped but we all had fresh piping hot food that tasted delicious so we were okay with this. Also we still made it to our film in time!

Had the worst experience last night, service was absolutely terrible, a waiter with a white top was very abrupt and rude! would not be dining there again!!

We had a lovely time at Prezzo! I visited with my daughter and her friend, and everything was great. The food was amazing, and the service was warm and welcoming. A perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely date night using our Christmas present voucher. Special thanks to Jack, the young boy who served us tonight. We are really kicking ourselves for not tipping him, as he was really lovely, and polite! I didn’t fancy any of the mains on the gift menu, and asked for a main from the normal menu, and he made this possible. So please ensure he gets some recognition for being so helpful!

We had a really lovely meal here last night! I had a veggie calzone with Gorgonzola, my husband had crab and lobster ravioli, we had a side salad and garlic bread too. The food was absolutely delicious. Big shout out to our waitress Hannah who was great! She was efficient, friendly and fun! Thanks for making our evening Hannah 😊

Was actually hook fish restaurant and wish we had one in epping.half the price and twice the quality

Despite this restaurant only having a handful of people in there today, our pizza came out lukewarm, we did however ask the waiting staff if it could warmed up, they did offer a new one entirely and apologised, however we didn’t want to cause a fuss as we already had our truffle fries and salad on the table. When our pizza returned, it was still only warm, not hot which is how it should when coming out of an oven straight to your plate. If Dominos can get it to your house piping hot 5 miles away on a moped, why can’t Prezzo achieve this. Anyhow, we didn’t send it back again but when we asked for the bill we did mention to the waiting staff. He was apologetic and took 20% off our bill which was something but really not good enough, we just wanted hot food, not too much to ask for a restaurant. Waiting staff very polite and attentive. Restaurant could have been warmer. We won’t be back, such a shame.

We usually have lovely meals at Prezzo in Chelmsford, but as we were visiting Clacton-On-Sea we decided to have dinner in this Prezzo. Everything was going well until our food was bought out and one of the pasta dishes was cold, the other was piping hot. We chose to carry on eating as we didn’t want the hassle of complaining and having to wait for it to be redone. Once we had finished our food and drinks, we asked for the bill and I showed the waitress we had a voucher. She looked at it and said they don’t accept it on Saturdays. I was immediately confused as it said available everyday. She gave me a few minutes to have a look if I had any other vouchers and then she came back. I told her I was confused as it said available everyday and she once again said it can’t be used on Saturdays and she would go and get the bulletin to prove this to me. I can understand her frustration but I felt bad for having to prove to her that the voucher was valid. She then came back and apologised that she had read the bulletin wrong and it in fact was able to be used. If I hadn’t of kept trying, we wouldn’t have saved any money. So if you have a voucher and it gets refused, make sure you double check the details and don’t give up if it is rejected for the wrong reasons.

Underwhelming, Undercooked pizzas with tinned mushrooms on top. Who uses tinny tinned mushrooms on a pizza. Should have stayed home and saved money on an overpriced and poor quality meal. This is the second time and so last visit by us.

Not impressed. Food OK. Overcharged £15. After a long wait we were given a revised bill but no apology or explanation. Rather spoilt the evening.

Fantastic Food, our waitress Ada her name was I think, was superb. She made sure we ordered when we were ready instead of someone hovering over the table rushing us to make a decision, and she was so friendly and helpful. Didn't have to wait long for the food and it was really nice, definitely visiting again.

Food was delicious, especially the calamari 🤌🏻 our host for the night Alfie was also wonderful. 10/10, will be coming back :)

Brilliant ! Cannot fault it for food and service.

Honestly can't fault the food and service from our Clacton-on-Sea Prezzo. We took up the 99p blue Monday deal. We were welcomed by a lovely Italian lady who was friendly, professional and couldn't do enough for us. We wasn't rushed. Food was hot and delicious and good portion size.

ordered at 1 for lunch.. took nearly 2 hours for it to be delivered after it only saying it will be here in 30 mins. food turnt up cold and pasta was just dry. the best thing about the order was the 4 bits of banana with the cake. such a shame as I used to always visit Prezzo and they were brilliant. won't be doing this again.

Good if you like microwave meals

It was our first time here and to be honest, our last. My partner ordered a doom bar (in a glass bottle) and it was as flat as anything. Our total came to £50 and for the price and quality, we were very dissatisfied and disappointed. The pizza was really pale and flavourless, and the pasta dish was watery, and again not a lot of flavour ,and didn’t taste how you would imagine, and it has raw rosemary on top which ruined it for me, I barely touched it and that says a lot in my opinion. The waitress seemed okay and friendly but we waited 20 minutes for the bill and there wasn’t that many people in there. Won’t be coming again unfortunately :(

The delivery was ok however the food was all not. warm enough had to spend 10 minutes reheating everything.

Food arrived on time but was somehow luke warm at best on arrival - chips were borderline cold, and everything else felt like it had been cooked and left for a while before being collected by the courier

Excellent food and service and vibrant atmosphere. I loved everything about this place and am looking forward to returning soon. The staff and chef were wonderful dealing with a food allergy and I felt brilliant the day after. The only improvement is totally about the acoustics as it could be hard to hear table conversation. Perhaps some baffling on the ceiling could help this. But a great dining experience thank you.

Waited 90 minutes before we received our meal

After a long day braving the chilly weather at Clacton beach, Prezzo was the perfect place to warm up and enjoy a delicious meal. Feeling tired and hungry, I was drawn to the restaurant's inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. My waiter was incredibly helpful and recommended the burger and truffle fries, which were absolutely delicious! The burger was cooked just the way I like it, and the truffle fries were perfectly crispy. For dessert, I couldn't resist the lemon meringue pie, and it was even better than I expected. It was so good that I seriously considered asking if I could take the whole cake home! Overall, my experience at Prezzo Clacton was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It was the perfect way to end a chilly day by the sea. I highly recommend it!

Love this place, my Sister & l went on Friday 11th Oct..24 AGAIN. Our Waiter was Archie, very attentive & nothing too much trouble. Lovely Chap!! We first went back in Summer 2024. My Sister drives from Lincolnshire to mine in Lavenham... Now (Prezzo's) is our to go place. Recommend everyone to give em a go. Thank you Guys x

This was quite simply the worst night out in a long time. Having arrived at our booked table time of 6:45, we did not receive our food until 8:15 and the meal at best could be described as undercooked pig swill. The waitress was irritable due to “having to wait on 15 tables by herself” and therefore bordering on rude when taking our order as though it was our fault for booking a table that evening! When we asked how long our food would be we were told rudely that the waitress had asked the kitchen five times and had been shouted at so she wasn’t going to do it again, and she had therefore asked the manager to go in. Truth or lie? the manager did not present themselves to apologise. We had asked for our main to come with the starter …simple enough with an order for garlic bread and olives, but this seemed to present a difficult challenge. The elusive manager could not be seen and it was doubtful of their existence despite them apparently coming to our defence on the wait time for our dinner and subsequently at the end of the evening when we told the waitress said she could get the manager for us to complain to, but it “probably wouldn’t do much good”. It was as though a rowdy bunch of incompetent teenagers had been allowed to manage the bar, kitchen and tables with no experience. We had to wave staff over to be served drinks and nobody approached our table without us having to wave them over as all eye contact was keenly avoided we noted. One young lady didn’t know what chianti was but if we showed her on the drink menu she would be able to order it! Ordering pasta with salmon should not be challenging except for the fact that the salmon was not present in the dish. We believe it had swum away being as disgruntled as the clientele and the staff apparently! The pizza was pale and looked undercooked with toppings sparse. Even the pizza cutter broke when it was used! Never before have we been so disappointed with a meal out. This was a family celebration with relatives visiting from abroad and should have been a great evening with nice food; however the latter was sadly missing. Having waited so long, the temptation was to leave and go somewhere else, except we probably wouldn’t have got a table on a Saturday evening at that time for a large party. It does mean that Prezzo will not receive our custom again. Go there at your peril.

Wir waren als Familie da und hatten einen Tisch reserviert. Wir haben den Eindruck gewonnen, dass der Tisch keinen zuständigen Kellner hatte. Wir sahen uns gezwungen, Kellner, die vorbeiliefen, an den Tisch heranzuwinken. Es kam nur einmal von sich aus eine Kellnerin und nahm nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit dann die Essensbestellung auf. Die Ausführung der Bestellungen war eine Geduldsprobe. Die Getränke dauerten lang. Bis aber das Essen serviert wurde, das grenzte an eine Unverschämtheit. Wir warteten über eine Stunde lang auf das Essen, dessen Qualität nicht überzeugt hat. Die Pasta mit dem Lachs hatte eine minimale Idee von Lachs, was bei den Preisen ebenfalls an eine Unverschämtheit grenzte. Die Pizzen waren lieblos mit viel zu großen und in der Zahl dann wenigen Stücken von Paprika und Hühnchen bestückt, die mit Ach und Krach als gar bezeichnet werden darf. Alles in allem eine ruinöse Bilanz eines Restaurants was uns einigermaßen den Abend, auf den wir uns alle gefreut hatten, verdorben hat.

Been here a couple of times ,but it must of got taken over the place is the worst I've been in ,645 entrance 8pm being served 5 pizzas and a salmon dish with 3 chunks of salmon, no follow up from any one had to literally chase staff for another round of drinks ,literally all I had was a cheese pizza with onion ,not even melted cheese, if you go to the mens toilet as soon as the door opens you hit who is using it before you can get in And the staff are not interested if you ask a question regarding the food o well lesson learned Never again

Great food and even better service. Chloe was lovely and really helpful. I had the lobster and crab ravioli - really tasty. Not huge, might recommend getting with a side if you're feeling very hungry, but perfect for lunch. Will definitely be back again ☺️

We have used several prezzo restaurants including our local one at Spalding so expected the same quality of food. So a bit shocked when the worlds poorest pizza arrived on my plate. The quality of my wife’s meal was also terrible. We would have complained but as we were with old friends did not want to make a fuss. However when we left they admitted they had not enjoyed the meal either. I don’t know if it was the chefs day off or what but if this is what lunch at this restaurant is always like best you all avoid it.

Friendly staff and the service was very good. Would have been 5⭐ for food but my partner said her Cannelloni was over cooked.

Lovely experience. With the kindnest waiter, Emily. She made it a really nice environment and was very helpful and always remembered to get to our table quickly. Really nice food. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread with balsamic onions, the carbonara and the lemon meringue pie. Overall a really good experience 👍

Overal was good, Olivia our server was great! Food took too long but we didn’t make a fuss as she was rushed already. We’ve eaten here before, food is generally good.. probably wouldn’t order the pizza again but otherwise the pasta dishes, great :) We will return I’m sure

We fancied an Italian meal for lunch so decided on Prezzo. Cannot believe how expensive the drinks were! The food was very average and there was hardly any atmosphere. All in all wish we had eaten elsewhere for half the price and definitely wont be coming back

Food always fresh and tasty. Just a shame that Kat (middle aged woman with grey hair and glasses) is consistently rude and put out by everyone and everything. Rest of the staff are spot on, though. Address the one person bringing the place down and you have a great restaurant.

Shared four starters between three of us for lunch and were very impressed with how tasty they were. The artichoke, tomato and olive salad was especially good. The waitress was not very welcoming or enthusiastic and appeared in a bad mood throughout our visit.

I ordered mistakenly to my work address and the delivery driver rang me saying he was here, I was trying to explain that I'd made a genuine mistake and that I live a 2min drive from work, he couldn't understand me over the phone and he promptly hung up. I therefore text my address to him and he arrived and he was so rude, it's not my fault that someone cannot understand english in England, I even tipped him on the app before hand! I won't be ordering again unfortunately.

Absolutely mortified by the food I received, no more than 30 minutes ago, I was craving lasagne, but this was the worst place I could have went for it. Extremely expensive and for some reason. A massive portion of coriander ontop, as an Italian I am completely mortified by this choice, brilliant service but will not be going back there again, I am on the toilet right now with. Bad belly.

What a lovely place our waitress was Gracie who was very helpful and pleasant and friendly. I had the arribiata which was lovely and hot and a bit spicy which was great. Hubby had the crab spaghetti which was also very nice. Would certainly go back again. My only wish would be if they had a section for well behaved dogs as we had to sit outside. Thanks Pink Sue🩷

We turned up at Prezzo for a late lunch , the service was slow but the poor waiter was doing his best and apologised for the 25 minutes wait to take our order he appeared to be on his own , The food was ok for a chain the lasagne was the best dish , the sea bass was very dry and overcooked .

Worst meal ever. Both meals was cold not even warm and my pasta was so tasteless and watery. Will never go back again

Fantastic meal although the main dining area was a bit loud.

I can't comment on the food as we didn't stop. Despite having booked and despite the restaurant being only half full we were led to a table at the back of the restaurant in a cramped position next to the waitress station. We asked for another table but were told that none were available. We decided not to stay and cancelled our booking for the following evening as well. This is not our usual experience of Prezzo restaurants.

Excellent 🇮🇹 restaurant with sea views. Had a birthday lunch there and the staff couldn’t do enough to help, they even take blue light card, 20% discount and free deserts at the moment, if you have a card. A really enjoyable meal, even gluten free pizza 🍕 bases, garlic 🧄 bread and pasta 🍝 . Food was delivered quickly and was piping hot. We booked online to save waiting for a table. There is a carpark at the rear, or you can park along the sea front or side streets and walk back to the restaurant. Card only, no cash. Will definitely visit again 5⭐️
