Average at best very expensive. Pizza on the greasy side. Price does not reflect the quality. Cheesy wedges are £5.49 plus an added 50p service charge at checkout!!! I think this is a bit unfair for a fairly small portion of cheesy wedges... rather make my own.

Pizza temperature just warm. Pizzas lacked flavour despite being marked as hot mexican chicken. Cheap but you get what you pay for.

Couple of times now never received our orders, they don’t seem bothered about it really and nightmare waiting for a refund. Shame because the food is usually ok. Had been asked to ring back as per below statement from The Family Pizza Alresford to discuss which I did, but apparently the manger was too busy to speak ! lol

Take away but people are efficient and accurate. 10 min wait to cook to order so wait in shop so can collect as soon as done. Go for the any size 10.99 pizza

I would give no stars at all if possible. Phoned me up an hour after I placed my order and told me they wasn’t able to deliver to my address because it wasn’t in the catchment area even though I was in their radius and when placing the order it confirmed they deliver to my address. Going back and forth on the phone, they confirmed they will do the delivery just this once, after waiting yet another hour the food arrived cold, stale and dry. The sauce in the pizza box exploded. Hayley on the phone wasn’t much help at all and then the boss, okes, was very snappy at my door, took no responsibility and just blamed their website, no help at all, I’m extremely unhappy with the food and the customer service and when speaking to an employee I then found out that they have a rat infestation. Do not recommend at all! This company deserves to be shut down!

Absolutely delicious! 🤤 Fresh and tasty ingredients, light and fluffy pizza dough, and super fast delivery! We got 2 small pizzas for £18 with free delivery, which I think is a very reasonable price in comparison to other pizza places. The order arrived in 25 minutes and was still hot. Will definitely be ordering from here again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely food and friendly service.

First time I've used this place today. So disappointed. The chips are definitely not fresh, re-fried and rock hard, asked for bbq wings, got spicy. Even the coleslaw tastes like cheese. What a total waste of money . Never again.

Fantastic pizzas and side dishes! I ordered a selection of pizzas, garlic bread, chicken dippers and chips for a family gathering and they promptly delivered lovely hot, crispy food for a fabulous birthday lunch. Thank you so much. I'll be back!!!

After waiting for 1 hour for our food to be delivered, The pizza arrived barely warm and all the sides were stone cold. Called the company up to try and fix the issue and was told unless the food was totally uneaten there wasn't anything they could do. I just requested a refund for the sides which we wouldn't eat as they were cold to be told its not possible. Utter joke of a company , ask to speak to someone higher to be told that they can't speak English. Would recommend to avoid

Absolutely the best pizza ever. And the sides are great and crispy.. u know how onion rings etc can go soggy... well not this place.. they rock. Great staff and fast service.. I have to limit myself to a couple times a month..otherwise I'd be there every week

Visit Sunday told only be 10 minutes 30 minutes later asked where the pizza was... was told just wait 10 minutes again not happy as people who had ordered long after me had been and gone ask for my money back witch they gave me but I don't think it was in the till as I paid cash... think someone is trying to hide money from the tax man!!! Avoid people

I could not recommend this plce enough. All the food is extremely affordable and it all tastes wonderful. Delivery is always rapid and I haven’t been disappointed once.

Normally very good but forgot to tell me my pizza was ready when I was waiting. I ended up waiting for ages and got the wrong pizzas given to me. Further delay so I ended up with barely warm pizza after a long wait.

Do not order from this place. They send out the wrong order and argue with you when you complain. 100% avoid

I ordered a Pizza deal for the 1st time tonight. Food was delicious, hot and plenty of it. Delivered by a cheerful young person within 35 minutes of ordering online. We shall look forward to our next order.

The best pizza in town. I drive from Colchester for it as they don't deliver to Colchester. Since I discovered this place its the only pizza we have.

They staff are all rude one of the lady’s there came to our door and was rude she just threw the pizza into my hands took the money I said thank you and she gave me a dirty look .... do not recommend and the boss was completely useless...

Good pizza but hit and miss weather it is warm when it arrives and if it's the correct pizza. If incorrect pizza then they will take it back and supply you a new one. Unsure what happened to the pizza they take back.....

i have tried a few pizzas in the area. i find the main chain pizzas are expensive and full of chemicals. (just my opinion) so i decided to try this place. i was pleasantly surprised the price is good especially if you pick it up. the meal deals are good also. I find the pizza is fresher and tastes much better than anywhere i have tried in colchester (many bad places for pizza) so this is now the place i go for pizza. great service as well.

The pizzas taste nice and everything is made on the premises. You can either collect your pizza or have it delivered and you can pay online, by card, cash on delivery or collection. They are open until 11pm most days of the week. Wide choice on the menu, friendly staff and quick and friendly delivery drivers.

I'm so impressed with this place, its better than pizza hun and dominoes any day, kids portions are generous and the food is just beautiful x

They messed up the order then when I called asking them about it I was put on hold and ignored. I thought better of this place as we have used it many times, pretty disappointing and poor service. Will not be using this service again.

One of the best pizzas in Essex

We ordered online one of the deals, a 12in pizza, garlic bread with cheese, chicken dippers and a bottle of Coke 15.99 then add 35p service charge for some reason. I thought this was a fairly reasonable price and similar to dominos etc. It took over an hour to arrive which wasn’t the end of the world (free delivery to our area though). When it got here, it had obviously travelled on its end as the pizza was all squished up At first, I couldn’t tell that it had any pepperoni on it but on closer inspection, there was some hidden under the cheese, maybe 1 or 1 1/2 pieces per slice (less than I’d expect). The garlic bread with cheese was ok and I didn’t try the chicken dippers but they were finished so I’m assuming they were ok. When I let the dog out into the garden later, it became apparent that the delivery guy had left the gate open as he escaped! It was closed on his arrival for a reason!I will be going to Pizza Hut or dominos next time but if going to this place is your only option then it’s just about ok...

I have been ordering off them since they opened this shop and was told that the potato wedges and chips are Vegetatian, then today they told me they have actually always cooked the chips etc in with the same oil as the chicken nuggets. Actually fuming!!

We ordered over the phone and collected within 30 mins, I had the meat fest which had plenty of toppings and I would certainly recommend, they were freshly cooked and the staff were friendly if not a little bit hard to understand, I’m not a big fan of pizza but would certainly go back.

I am from Canada and I found the wings to be equal to anything you can get back home. The pizza is very tasty I recommend getting the thin crust.

No vegan cheese didn’t even know what vegan cheese is It’s widely available Pizza Hut papa johns etc offer it move with the times the vegan movement is huge

After speaking to alot of people in the village about this place and hearing non stop horror stories I thought I'd risk it and see.When I went to order as when I called 3 times nobody answered, so I was shocked to see 5 members of staff and not a single customer in there.Ordering the food went pretty quick and smoothly even though what i assume is the owner spent the whole time glaring at me.Food was ready pretty fast and nice and hot. Food rating, personally for me the base could be more a little bit more to add some crisp to it but apart from that the dough was pretty nice.Toppings are your generic pizza toppings nothing special but still taste good on a pizza.Only thing we didn't enjoy was the cheese, it tasted like cardboard and smelt like sweat!!Apart for the cheese the pizza is good.

Really like this pizza place. Cheaper then Dominoes and good quality pizza and extras. Big fan of their Nachos. However am very disappointed that they have changed their delivery area and I now fall 0.1 miles out of their delivery radius!

Very nice pizza never had a problem til the new driver started. He looks like a tramp and smells like one. Never got the right money so always tells you he will drop your change back but doesn't And frankly the look and smell of him puts you off your food

Amazing pizza and sides and really quick delivery time. Pizza made on order and rivals the big companies out there. Used to use a Family pizza takeaway elsewhere in Essex but the Alresford branch blows it out of the water. There is some room to dine in as well should you want to. Great price, great quality.

As a first time customer was amazed at the poor service.Requested that a quarter of the pizza left plain as it was for a young child.They said no as only do halves.I laughed and said surely it isnt hard to just leave a quarter as a child wont eat a half large pizza.No they were adament they couldnt do it.I said leave it if theý didnt want my future custom.They must be very busy to be able to turn business away like that over such a petty matter.

We ordered 4 large pizzas, chicken wings, onion rings and garlic mushrooms. The food came quickly and was very tasty. Some of the better pizza I have had.

Sorry to have to say that on this occasion we had poor service and food, one pizza was fine but the other was not good, floppy an over cooked topping, chips where as if they had been left an reheated, would have returned them but by the time you go back the rest would have been cold,an think it would have been a waste of time as only two young girls serving, with not much enthusiasm, an chips an coleslaw NOt wedges but would not do this, so had to buy seperatley which was very expensive.

Have got to say, these guys should be commended for the overall experience. Good food, well prepared, and quick service. We have used them for many months. Have held off my review to be sure that they were not a flash in the pan!Hope this continues, it's great having such hard working people who obviously take pride in their work.Well done guys.

There always seems to be issues with the online ordering system the order fails but they still take the money. Many times this has happened now and you have to wait days for your money to be returned. I have rung the store when this happens but they are never interested as they say it's down to PayPal. Won't be using them again as feel this issue won't be sorted in a hurry.

Great place, often use it passing home. Had an incorrect pizza delivered once, they sent a new pizza and didn't want the old one back! Always friendly and more often will deliver well within their time scale!

Ordered a pizza, wings and chips yesterday afternoon. Arrived on time (1 hour after ordering), unfortunately that was the only positive. When the food arrived, it was all luke warm and dry, almost as if it had been sitting around in the box for 45 minutes. Not, fresh, hot and tasty as I was expecting.

Have now used this place twice and can thoroughly recommend it. The food is tasty and the staff friendly and welcoming.

Good Food and all but the manager nae nae'd

Was not a good experience, first off they don’t have tuna for a topping for pizza so not off to a good start so went with a meat feast. They wouldn’t do me salad on my chips as they where to busy. Was told it be 15 mins to collect ended up sitting in the shop for 50 mins waiting and not even a sorry for the long wait. The food was average had a lot nicer take away pizza from other shops. Won’t be going back in hurry if ever.

Ordered pizza meal on first Saturday after opening night, and was told delivery within 30 to 40 minutes. Live close by just over the road in Hawkins Road but asked for delivery as I was very busy at home with a DIY project.
