Prezzo in Redditch

Pleasant setting, attentive staff, good value. Range and quality of starters were good and we shared a pizza, which was ample as a good size. The choice and quality of dessert were disappointing though.

It's not always easy to get a table for a family at lunchtime, especially as we couldn't eat til 2pm, but this Prezzo was great. Service was friendly and efficient, they offer a children's menu with burgers etc, also ice lollies which my grandchildren really enjoyed. There's plenty of space for high chairs and easy access to the bathrooms which is great when eating out with small children. The food was good, basic Italian, a good selection of pizza and pasta dishes. My lobster/crab ravioli was good, although the portion size was more of a starter than a main. Fortunately the pizzas we ordered were pretty big, so I didn't go hungry. Total bill (with tip) was £100, so pretty good value.

Extremely poor service. The waitress ‘looking’ after us spent more time with what it looked like chatting to her family on the next table. My husbands food arrived and I had to ask 4 times to 4 different waitresses to which only 1 came back to update me on where my food was. My husband was two bites away from his main being finished when mine eventually turned up. The manager came to us and apologised & took my main off the bill which I appreciated, blaming the new staff… Don’t get me wrong the food was lovely, but service and staff were lazy and so unprofessional, I will not be in a rush at all to come back here.

We went for an anniversary meal on a Monday. The place was quiet. Friendly staff and great food. As I’ve said before, there is a great gluten-free and vegan option for me. Very nice place.

Visited the Redditch branch Saturday evening 2nd July, lady on the desk was rude, not friendly at all, we was sitting for 15 minutes and no one had been over to ask for drinks, so we decided to leave, as we left the same lady asked if there was a problem We said yes, we have been waiting to long, was not interested and just walked off Really bad atmosphere, will take the family somewhere else in future, somewhere that actually makes you feel that they want you there

This was a much better visit than our first. Great Gluten-free and vegan options for me; nothing was too much trouble. Food came out hot and in a timely fashion and the staff were very friendly.

My boyfriend and I came for a meal for my birthday as we had been a couple of months prior and really enjoyed the food. But for some reason this time I found the service was just off? I ordered a gluten free bolognese and the pasta came cold and undercooked (it was white and hard). The lady tried telling me that gluten free pasta is supposed to be hard as if I’d never eaten it before. I sent it back to be remade but all they did was stir the sauce and put it in the microwave. Absolutely not worth 12 quid. My boyfriend had a pizza which was great! And the original lady that served us was lovely. Probably won’t be returning.

Went over the May Bank Holiday Weekend Chef’s consistently dishes up great food Full of flavour and cooked Perfect!! My family have been going here for many Years, ALL staff give excellent friendly, and Prompt Service, they even know what all My family drink ( adults ) and my grandkids ( they just double check and are always correct 😊) The restaurant is always clean, and tables Well laid out

I find Prezzo food quality and ambience varies enormously from restaurant to restaurant, so I was hoping for good, but expecting mediocre. We definitely got good here in Redditch. It's a nice place to go - except when you have to run the gauntlet of the bus station at night when you leave - and the food was good, too. Unfortunately, the draught Peroni tasted like the pipes haven't been cleaned in a good while.

We went in after shopping at the shopping centre, staff were attentive and polite especially the blonde lady (I guessed she was the manager) Food was very bad, especially my al forno pasta was watery and tasteless.

Staff are always really welcoming and accommodating. The gluten free options are really good, I always have the Carbonara Al Forno which is fab! Kids ate pizza and really enjoyed their meals. One of my favourite dishes here is the garlic bread with the caramelised onions - really happy that can be gluten free! Overall really good, can be cold in there when quiet though.

We both had 3 courses and each one was perfect. Couldn’t fault any of the food we ate at all. The service was fantastic too. We were served quickly and we didn’t have to wait long between each course. Will definitely be going back.

Mainly pizza and pasta which is well cooked and presented. Service is friendly and efficient with large helpings. Ambiace for an enclossed area within a shopping centre is good. A good place to take the family as a treat whilst out shopping

Booked but didn't need to, went on a Sunday and there were only a few tables taken. It was located at the top of a shopping centre which was unusual. Staff/customer service was okay, nothing negative but not much to write about. Even though it wasn't that busy, staff were cleaning and keeping busy. Food was promptly served and wasn't disappointed.

The food here is outstanding, we cant fault our meal - but what let it down is the fact we had a £30 voucher, we ordered drinks and then chose what we wanted for meals, and checked with the server that what we chose was ok for the voucher - she pointed out that drinks cant be used with the voucher - fair enough, so we added some sharing bites instead, and we’d pay the £12 for the drinks. When the bill came, turns out that sharing isnt included either for use with the voucher so we had to pay £7.5 for them aswell. The server could at least get her facts right. To me a voucher is a voucher and should be taken off the total bill. For this, it let it down for me. Do i think its good value for money? No - i wont be returning..

My colleague and I called into Prezzo, after a Google search of where we could eat after our hotel let us down could not fault service, it was quite with being a Sunday, food was very good I head mozzarella bites as a starter with tomato dip, spaghetti bolognaise with garlic bread, all served very hot, and from very attentive staff

This is probably our 6th visit to this restaurant, we've had one mini blip on one visit due to new staff and training but every other visit has been great, we recognize many of the now established team who provide excellent service and very warming to my 2 children, the quality of the food is fantastic, would highly recommend and we will be back again soon

This branch suffers a bit because it is in a shopping center, even though there is a cinema close by. The effect of this means that Prezzo looks like an Airport restaurant -its a bit bizarre. We arrived at 17.00 only to see a lunch menu posted ( although it was not obvious to us ), and the scaled down lunch menu held little choice for us. However we did go in when i saw the full menu and things improved significantly from that point. Great pizza, very filling baked spaghetti cabonara washed down with. White Zinfadel. A welcome and enjoyable early evening meal. Recommmended.

Visited for lunch whist on a shopping trip. Good food, good service and at a reasonable price. Could do with a little attention to the cleaning however, as a number of the partition walls and light fittings were very dusty.

The food in this restaurant is always delicious and the staff are exceptional. We are always made to feel welcome and the food does not take long to arrive at all. This being said, I would not come to Prezzo without a voucher or discount as I find the menu to be very expensive. Overall, this particular Prezzo branch never fails to impress me and I hope to return soon.

The food was an assault on the taste buds. Not freshly prepared, the Spaghetti Bolognese had the taste and te true of a cheap frozen microwave supermarket ready meal. It was acidic and unflavoured, the meat was sparse within the sauce. I managed 3 bites. It has been repeating on my for hours afterwards. My daughter had the Grilled Chicken salad, the chicken had been cooked then frozen then not properly defrosted - shed did not eat it. My husband persevered with his Penne Arabiatta despite moaning that Tesco's did it better, and it did not even compare to the M&S; version, only to complain from acid indigestion afterwards. I was offered a replacement for my meal - a salad - which took over 20 mins to prepare in an empty restaurant. To be fair the manager refunded both of my main courses when I refused to be the only one eating after everyone else had finished but the waitress had a lot to say... It was unnecessary input from her seeing that we paid £32 after all the refunds and we had only managed to feed two of the four people on our table. If you like microwave food, you may enjoy it but if you are looking for fresh ingredients and authentic Italian flavours, then this is not your restaurant.

I visited here on Monday and I had a great experience as usual. The staff are always so lovely and welcoming and provide an exceptional service. The food didn’t take a long time to arrive and was very nice. I think the menu may be a little expensive, but the multi-course deals and offers they do or the vouchers available online make it well worth the money. A reliable place to go - shall definitely be returning!

Went for pre cinema dinner on a Friday at about 6pm. Place was fuller than we have seen it before but we got to a table straight away and drinks orders taken quickly. I went to Prezzo with a friend for a catch up. As a vegan I checked the menu and there were vegan options available. However, when I asked if they did soya or a dairy alternative ,as I fancied a latte, they did not. I find this very odd considering they offer vegan food. They should offer all in vegan or not at all to avoid disappointment. I ordered the vegan pizza which was very oily and made me feel sick for the rest of the day. Not sure if I’ll return again.

This place is very clean but unfortunately for them it never seems busy. The staff are always quick to get you seated and attentive. I always use a tastecard or voucher code which offers some great discounts. The bruschetta starter with mozerella is my favourite and it’s made wonderfully ! I like to have the prawn linguine for main and ask for extra chilli which is never a problem. The only downside is that they only sell small bottles of seven up or sprite which means you need a couple for a decent sized glass and that can be expensive if you’ve ended up ordering four. Apart from that it’s clean and tidy and for a chain the food is good.

Called in early on a Wednesday evening. There were only perhaps another 4 diners so we were served quickly and drinks and food came quickly. Excellent Prawn and Salmon and Spaghetti Bolognese with house fries. They were a bit disappointing as they were skinny frites and a bit cool!. They honoured a 40% off food voucher, so our bill came to £23 including 2 soft drinks. Service was fine though we noted one of the staff sneaking out with her boyfriend!. Our scores (out of 10) Ambience 8; Food 8; Service 8; Value for Money 9.

We went on New Year’s Day and was fortunate enough to have the festive set menu, and needless to say it was amazing! Every single course was delicious and I haven’t stopped talking about the Christmas cracker calzone in over a week! Brilliant value for money (three courses for £18.99) absolute bargain!

we dined here on a Saturday night and hadn't booked at table. we were told it was about 20 min wait and then shown to the bar area where we were offered the drinks menu and the main menu to look over while we waited. we were seated in a booth which was near the kitchen, the kids loved listening to the chef and watching him cook the food. All our food was served hot and well presented. We chose the sharing bread and then various pizzas and the waitress recommended the King Prawn Spaghetti which was spot on. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were all friendly and attentive throughout our visit. we will be returning soon.

Three of us visited for an afternoon meal. The whole place is well laid out and looks and feels really clean. The staff were very helpful without being in your face. The starter and main was extremely fresh and very tasty. The sweets we ordered were delightful. Altogether a very pleasant afternoon.

We have visited the restaurant on many occasions as it is quite local to us, we have always had good food and the service is also very good. We like Prezzo as the menu is varied enough to suit most tastes and its fairly quickly served for a reasonable price, making it perfect for a mid week meal or before visiting the cinema.

My husband I visited Prezzo last week before going to the cinema and we weren’t disappointed. There was a summer set menu with special offers which was very good value and The waitress was polite and friendly. I chose the Italian Hummus with flatbread and my husband had the calamari both of which were delicious. I had the light and spicy prawn and basil pesto pasta and husband chose the vesuvio pizza again, both were lovley. A lovley atmosphere and we will definitely visit again.

We popped in for some food one Friday evening, we had an hour to eat before the film we’d booked started at Vue. I was worried there wouldn’t be time to eat but service was very quick, food was fine.

Poor quality food, wine not as described on menu, lacks any ambience, the location is in a shopping centre, staff did not ask at any point if we were enjoying our meal. Staff did respond well however to our negative comments.

It seems every time we go here the place is pretty quiet, I hope this isn’t the case all of the time as it would be a shame for Redditch to lose its one good eatery! The restaurant is clean & appealing tucked away in the corner you can forget you are in the shopping centre.
