Disappointed. This is the second order I have collected in as many weeks that have had items missing. They seem to be getting too many orders to cope with.

Chicken Chow mien very dry no sauce like eating a packet of dry noodles and all you get is chicken and noodles and onion :(

I’ve been ordering from here on and off for years and I must say we’ve never had a bad meal! Yeah it would be nice if they were on a food ordering app so could pay by card but definitely worth a trip to the cash machine for.

Disappointing food, limp soggy lettuce with yuk sung, very few cashew nuts with a veg and cashew dish. Soggy, maybe frozen vegetables. Couldn't see any egg in egg fried rice. Delivery was efficient and as promised.

They take card payment yet you can’t pay with card over the phone. This is the year 2023 who does not have the ability for customers to either do an online order or over the telephone with a credit card for delivery.

Made an order and was told it would be 20mins when it actually 40mins and they got the order wrong I ordered a King Prawn Chowmein and hot a Prawn Curry which wasn't particularly nice very watery.

Absolutely amazing food and the people are very welcoming.

Sadly only 2 star for me quality of food is poor cheap not enough love going in to the food such a shame waste of money

Foods not as good as it used to be and there prices have gone up £7 for our usual meal . Above all very rude on the phone and quite happy to lose loyal customers . Not good 😢😢😢😢

Very rude man on the phone taking orders. We were regular customers and he had been rude to us on a few occasions, however the location was convenient and we liked the food. Tonight we called to order and the man hung up before we could pay over the phone so we had to call back, to be shouted at 'why didn't you say you didn't have cash!' He went on to say the card machine wasn't working and it needed to be cash, however when we told him to forget it and that we weren't happy with his tone, he asked for our card details, so the card machine was in fact working. We will not be returning.

I ordered over the phone to collect from the shop in person as the mayflower is quite busy at the weekend and I find it quicker over the weekend. When collecting the order it's handy that there's a car park next to the premises that's free to use. The order was ready on time and the food was hot when I got home. The food itself is always good and the portions are excellent. Covid rules are strictly observed and the overall experience is very good. There's a delivery service as well which is good and usually delivers before the stated time even on very busy nights. I have been twice recently because the wife really likes the crispy shredded beef because it IS crispy and it's spicy. We'll go again.

First time ordered. Stared 45mins came in 30mins . Food hot and tasty .

Ok nothing special normal serving and quality staff friendly also. Added a star cos the new management are better the food has changed slightly not same ingredients etc but currently nice food and good size portions I now use it all the time and u can ring in ur order b4 u go. Above average and better value and quality then the local chippy.

Awful customer service. Called up to make an order for collection. Was asked to hold on a sec and heard a conversation between the girl answering the phone and who I presume was her boss, dicussing a number of things including a trip to bargain booze. Was listening to this for about 3 minutes before she picked the phone back up. We mentioned we'd been waiting for a few minutes and she replied with "yeah I've been busy". I refused to place an order on account of pathetic customer service. Can't comment on the food as didn't even get that far....

This has been our favourite chinese for many years, however since the new ownership, not one of orders has been right and the food is often cold. I would avoid!!!

Great food had the beef curry and lemon chicken mushroom rice free small crackers . Loads of food great price will be coming back soon

Slop.. Had a Special Chow Main in my meal, which was part of a bigger order. Big portion, would prefer smaller portion, done right.

Food is nice most of the time, when it's actually correct that is. After ordering with Mayflower most Saturday nights for the past couple of years, the last few months we have had so many issues with missing items off the order or even going to collect the food after being told it will be ready in 40 minutes when placing the order on the phone to be told there wasn't even an order placed when we got there to pick it up. We will definitely not be using this Chinese again because they are unreliable and unapologetic.

Amazing food, super fast service, highly recommend.

The food is really good from here, not too greasy. The noodles are a bit thin but it all tastes great. The prawn crackers are some of the best I've tasted. Very good value, too.

Poor customer service - on 2 x occasions our order had items missing, when contacting the gentleman who originally took my order, he had a very poor attitude & informed me there was nothing he could do as his boss wasn't in this country! Very disappointing... I understand mistakes can happen but to have a not bothered attitude is unacceptable! Won't b ordering from these again 😡

Recently rediscovered this place. Definitely a winner. Nice food, staff always friendly and not tight with the prawn crackers. Get a bag free every time! 👍👍👍
